I have bought 2 cars here but they can never get you in for a oil change! I always have to go to Mike Maroone North to get oil changes done.
Great experience buying the car, but have had nothing but bad experiences with the service department. My last straw was taking my car in at the beginning of June because it was having a rough idle. Paid WAY too much for them to tell me it was a dirty fuel tank and said they cleaned it. I know that service couldnt have been performed because I dropped it off with a nearly empty tank (terrible on my part, I know) and picked it up with the same amount of gas. Didnt think anything of it until the rough idle got worse. Took it back and they couldnt even look at it during my appointment time and wanted to charge me to look at it AGAIN with the same issue that they said they fixed a week prior! Went on vacation then came back and called a mobile mechanic because I was tired of feeling like I had an unreliable vehicle. Well it took the mobile mechanic less than 5 minutes to figure out it was a misfire and A WHOLE COIL SNAPPED OFF. All it took was hooking up the diagnostic machine. Will recommend buying a car here all day, but AVOID the service department!
My son had duplicate key made for Silverado and staff and salesman Marcus Enzer. They had it ready before I arrived..nice service!@
This is my second time dealing with this dealership and my experiences have both been great ones. I was able to take my Chevy into the shop to have a recall addressed. While I was advised that it would take a couple of hours, I was prepared to either wait or to walk home. But to my surprise, the technician offered an Uber ride to and from my home as a courtesy of Mike Maroone Chevrolet. I was treated with utmost courtesy and care, and will make Mike Maroone Chevrolet my new Chevy home.
If you want an honest answer when your vehicle will be done, Do Not take it to this place. I was told my vehicle would be done in the afternoon after dropping it off at 9:20am.... I called at 3:30 pm to check status I was told it was not even pulled into to look at it, but I was assured it would still be completed by this afternoon from Markus. I never received any call for an update before or after my call and I still do not have my vehicle back when it was supposed to be returned the same day. The repairs on my vehicle would have been a maximum of 2 hours, How do I know, I have been doing repairs on cars and trucks my entire life and I am ase certified. This was a simple alignment, Tire rotation and recall, Dont waste your time with this place.
Update: the service manager called me to apologize for the experience which I appreciated. It sounds like my experience had perhaps been a bit of an outlier, though its all I can base my review on. I would however be willing to give them another shot, but would be escalating to management sooner if my experience starts to mirror the experience detailed below.Original Review:The car was in the shop for just over a month, after only owning the car for two months at that point. There was very little communication about the delays. The only time I got any information from the service department was when I called, which I had to do repeatedly to get any information on the progress. It was one of the most frustrating experiences Ive ever had with a mechanic/service department.I would never recommend using the Mike Maroone South Service Department, in fact I will be making sure to tell people to avoid it at almost any cost.Very disappointing. The rating should be zero stars.
I had a great sales experience and wrote a positive Google review on their sales side to reflect this, but it all falls apart at the seams as soon as the service center gets involved. Let me be clear, the issue is NOT the service technicians who actually do the work. In fact, I couldnt speak more highly of Marcus and the guys who actually listened to my problems and tried to solve them. When you drop your car off, youre assigned an advisor who is supposed to be your direct contact for communication, which from what I gather is the management level. THIS is where everything falls to pieces. As someone who has worked in direct sales, parts, and service, as well as management, I cant believe the absolute lack of customer service and communication from these advisors. I dont even know where to begin with the problems Im STILL dealing with - I could write a novel detailing everything but Ill save it for a manager who might care enough to call. When you call there for updates on your vehicle, no one knows anything and no one is allowed to talk to you EXCEPT the advisor. I bought the car in early May and have been waiting for rear headrests to arrive. I was given all kinds of conflicting information for the delay including them being on backorder. Then, I had to bring it in for service a week ago for a wheel bearing - I knew what it was before I even got there. My car was held for 24 hours without a single call back to let me know the problem or solution after I had specifically said MULTIPLE times to everyone I spoke with that I needed the car back for Monday AM for work (I dropped it off on Friday at 7:20 AM). I had to physically show up at the service center on Saturday afternoon just to get an answer, get parts ordered, and ask for my car back. Mark, my supposed advisor refused to come out and speak with me and told his service guys to just handle it. Our salesman actually got involved and has been in communication with updates ever since, and now even he cant get a response from their service center! The worst part is I have a sister in the market to buy a car and know plenty of people here in the Springs, and Id love to recommend the sales dept, but not if they have to deal with the atrocious service that comes with the management team in the service dept.Long story short, the advisors need some training in communication, management, and customer service or not be allowed to hold positions where theyre required to fulfill all of those tasks. If you keep scrolling through reviews, youll see the same issue over and over again. My recommendation? Dont go here unless you absolutely need to.
Mike Byczek was amazing!!! He had great customer service, listened to what I wanted in the price range I was looking for. He went above and beyond. I recommend him to anyone.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Sat there for an hour and a half and my car wasn’t even picked up to start the service. Made an appointment for 9 am and had to get my car at 11am to head to appointments. Highly recommend going elsewhere.-Victoria Gorgas
They treat all customers like Rock Stars. Very professional, knowledgeable on their business, yet outgoing and friendly. This was my first visit to Maroone South. Was a customer of Maroone North until we moved. Aaron Captain runs a good service department and is a very good communicator. They even have a Corvette Specialist who services all types of Vettes. They say you never get a second chance to make a good first impression, but Maroone South made a very good first impression on me. Will be a customer of theirs for a long time.Dennis LaBandt
If I could give 0 stars I would. Signed for my car, told I was financed through a specific bank, when it came time to set up my account the bank informed me they did not carry my loan. The dealership arranged my loan through a different bank without my knowing. When calling to confront them they made excuse after excuse, even stating I didn’t give them all of the needed paperwork. My rates then changed due to the bank change. Extremely disappointed in their poor character and common curtesy. Do not recommend.
My husband took his car in for repairs and he was told that they would have to get in touch with the warranty company and they would call him back which they NEVER DID!! The next day after playing phone tag my husband was told that his car would be ready at 4:30 so after walking a mile and a half from our house to the dealership he was told that his car wasnt ready because the part was faulty. When my husband went to pick up his car he was told it was going to cost $616 instead of the $350 we were quoted because Corey didnt put any notes on the account!! When we finally picked up the car the check engine light was still on! The car has been in the shop for three days and we havent heard anything from anyone!! These guys need to take lessons from the sales department and the body shop because the service department SUCKS!!
On the Service side Erik and Corey were great! I was told My car would be done in a hour and 15 minutes but it took longer, almost 2 hours. So I went up and checked to see what was taking so long Erik went to check and came back with Corey they thoroughly explained everything to me and I wasn’t upset or anything but they still went out of their way to make things right with me. They’re honesty and willingness to make things right with out me asking was the reason I’m making them my preferred service center! Thank you Erik & Corey.
Drop my car off at 7 am for tire rotation and oil change. As well as spark plugs. Went in at 4 in the afternoon to pick it up. The car was not ready and non of the service had been done. Worst place to bring your car in.
5 STARS!!!So where to begin Luis has been the best Car salesmen I’ve ever worked with, he was patient, friendly, polite, very professional listened to my husband and I on what we wanted in cars. I HIGHLY recommend Luis as your sales person. I will also be spreading the word to everyone about the amazing experience we had with him there. To also add to all of this he keeps his word. When things need to be done it gets done :)

Terrible service!!! Careful with driving these cars they may not be safe because they takeoff warning lights on the dashboard take your own code reader
