Overall a good experience, no sales pressure and the car was as described. It took longer than I expected to have the car transferred to the local location and a test drive scheduled. And the process to complete the paperwork took as long as it does at a regular dealership, which surprised me. I thought it would be much faster. But I would buy from them again.

We just purchased a new 21 GMC Acadia Denali through Carmax and could not be happier. The car went up in Utah and I requested it be shipped to Colorado Springs. Once it arrived I was contacted about 4 days later for a test drive. When I got there they had some difficulty finding the car, but when they did it was everything they said it was. I love the car and everything to do with it. The purchase process was very smooth and I am elated with the car. The online rep and the in store rep were both fantastic and have kept in touch throughout the process. I really love the no haggle process and feel good about our purchase.

Pros: They arent your typical dealership, the salesman are not pushy, they dont sell you lines of garbage to have you buy a car. There are tons of cars to choose from and if they dont have what you are looking for, you can order one and have it shipped to you, which is very simple. They will give you more for your trade in, it is very quick, no lowballing.Cons: They are very busy in Colorado Springs. Make an appointment or you will be waiting for hours and they probably will not see you, like it happened to me. I was done with my test drive and had went to the bank to get approved. I returned the vehicle with my check ready to purchase the vehicle and thought it would be a quick process since I already had the money in hand. I was very wrong, after almost a 2 hour waste of time, they told me to return the next day. I returned and very thankful for TODD who apologized, made the purchase quickly. Hes a top notch professional who deserves my thanks and wish the rest of the employees were as knowledgably and friendly as him.OVERALL: Great vehicle, you guys are awesome for providing the inventory and making the process of trading in the vehicle easy, but the actual car buying experience was rough. You are too busy at the Colorado Springs location, its like a zoo, you need to open another location.

While dealing with CarMax earlier this week, I knew within minutes of sitting down at the desk with Josh Gold that I would be writing a review here. On the business side of it all, I got a great price for my SUV and at the end I “celebrated” with my new purchase. I had done my online homework and was prepared and able to provide all the info/documentation required to complete the entire process. And while this may sound cheesy, it was all so easy! Car needed major work. I had it checked. I was told 14 days to LOOK at it. The 3-6 WEEKS to do any repairs. So I returned it. BUT. You now have the car AND my MONEY!! I need to wait TWO WEEKS to get my money!? I’ll start going by daily if I have to. $37,000 is a LOT of money to wait on someone work that I’ll get. Especially since it’s taken 2 MONTHS SO FAR to transfer a warranty from another vehicle. One thing Carnax IS great at is LYING!! The ENTIRE COMPANY DOES THAT WELL

2 time my family has been a customer of CarMax, but a return customer no more. My son was so discouraged by 2 other dealerships wasting our time and I encouraged him to try CarMax based off of our previous experience. That was a mistake and we will never return to CarMax. My 18 y/o son who has worked since 14 was ready to buy his first car. We found car at Parker CarMax and was told it would take 3-4 days….no problem. However, its day 5 and we are getting no customer service and no help to buy a car. We are told, car is here in Springs but title didn’t come with it. Excuse me, what ???? And no one is trying to get the title from Parker. Why not bring car with a title when you can’t sell it without a title? What use is the car to us? We have tried calling and been on phone for over an hour on hold while you guys can’t figure out your life????Keep your Expensive car, we found same car that is Electric and way better cosmetically and less mileage for almost 5K less. My son is super happy and is on his way to work in his new car.Good Riddance!!!!!!

My experience has been great so far. Had my car shipped and it was just as advertised. Everyone on the phone was extremely helpful and then when I got to the dealership in Colorado Springs, Cody was wonderful to work with and made sure everything was great. I got my 24-hour test drive and I still am in my 1500 mile 30 day time period. I have taken my car to a body shop and my mechanic to make sure everything is okay and the few things that were wrong are minor and CarMax is taking care of them. If anything changes I will update my review, but as of now everything is wonderful. This was so easy compared to the dealerships that I have been visiting. They only would allow a short test drive and made going to get vehicle independently checked difficult . I got to pick model, color, and price range and that made it easy to get pre-qualified.

Cosigned with a friend on a car, to be safer during the winter. The paperwork was done incorrectly 4 different times, with no managerial oversight or Quality Check process in place to prevent rework. As my friend lives 2 hours away, and I live out of state, there was a lack of training on how to properly do the paperwork.Car has highway noise issues, and when an appointment was made, by a manager, the time was incorrect and was not accommodating to correct. Gave a sounds like youre outta luck type of attitude.And reading other peoples reviews explaining the same situation, I dont recommend.

We used the online tool to get a quote for selling our car. We were told the process would take 30-90 minutes. That was a big joke. We were told 15 minutes about for the test drive, and it took over 45 for that part alone. We ended up being there for over 3 hours. Had that expectation been set, we would have given 5 stars. But being told 90 minutes and ending up twice that, was a little ridiculous.

Got a quote when looking up my used car value on Edmunds. Ended up getting exactly what was promised. Only issues were the young lady who checked us in didnt know that we could have gone directly to the office area where they handle used car purchases for auction, so we waited around an un-needed 15 minutes before finding that out, well after our appointment time. Also Andrea, the lady who handled our final transaction, although she was professional, she apparently forgot to ask for the expensive new jack that we had in the trunk. They dont offer transportation, even for one mile, so we asked them to hold on to that for us in the office for a couple of hours while we walked home and came back with our other car. Never heard from Andrea though she had promised to call us at either our cell or land-line. Not a huge deal. The newer employee, a young lady who helped us at first was very attentive and friendly. Overall we were satisfied with Carmax, and I would go to Carmax again when I relocate.

I had gotten lost trying to find the Colorado springs lot. I didnt have my phone with me and by the time I found the place, I couldnt find my husband. I was lost for a long while. Im from a small town. I didnt know how I was going to get home. I had next to no gas, and no money on me. CarMax gave me plenty of gas to get home. A 2 hour drive home. I dont know what Id have done without them. They literally saved me. The next day, I went back and sold my car to them with no hassle, for more than Id expected in no time at all. Like an hour, in out done. Thanks to you CarMax of Colorado Springs .

Don’t bother making an appointment. Twice have waited for 50 plus minutes after appointment time and told will get with you when we can. Poor customer service. My mistake for coming back. Update…they called 1.5 hrs after scheduled appointment time and asked if I was ready. What a joke! Already had a car reserved for test-drive prior to appointment as well. If you want to spend all day buying a car, this is the place.

Every review on here with people stating they are not being helped is true. I checked in and spent 30 minutes waiting for the vehicle I was ready to buy walking in. During the time I was outside, only two different employees walked out to look at window tags of vehicles. When I left, two people were standing up front and couldn’t care less that I was upset about waiting. No one here seems the slightest bit invested in their job or helping clients.

There are aspects of Car Max we love and then others we had issues with. We saw a car on the lot that was coming soon to the website so we waited and waited everyday for it to become available. One day we noticed the car status all of sudden was showing as NA. We called Car Max to find out what was going on and they said a manager had taken the car off the lot to test drive it to make sure it was up to par to be put on the website so we kept waiting and a day later we found out a service employee was test driving to car to reserve for his Father. We were shocked as we had been waiting for the car to be made available. The GM at our location got involved and explained the car would need to be put back on the website and while our Car Salesman manager was at lunch the service employee reserved the car for his dad and had it shipped to another state. We never even got a chance to reserve the car.We did end up finding another car but it was just really frustrating to go through waiting on the first car just to have it swooped out from under us from a Car Max employee. Then the car we did find had some minor issues. The car we did end up purchasing had a minor fender bender in the car history accident report (which was disappointing) when the first car we were waiting for did not. We also noticed the car battery had acid on it so we took it in to have the battery replaced and the Car Max service dept said the battery was fine and cleaned off the acid. Well a couple days later the battery completely died and we had to purchase another batter for $120.00 because the car max service dept could not replace the battery for 2 weeks. We did get a cash refund from Car Max but it was just another hassle we had to go through.That being said once we found a car, the financing was very transparent. Car Max gave us a good price for our trade in and was able to work with our spotty credit. Overall we love our car, but working with Car Max was bitter sweet. Our Car Salesman was a little hard to communicate with and also made an unfair comment to my husband saying he was controlling because we were leery of finding another car after having the first car swooped out from under us by a Car Max employee and my husband was trying to be proactive as not to be swindled again. The Salesman tried to turn it into a joke that he called my husband controlling and even smacked him in the arm to try to down play the comment that he meant seriously, but the comment was definitely offensive and being smacked in the arm was unprofessional. However, the Car Max chat representatives and customer service line was so fast to respond and were able to find out information for us when we could not reach our Car Salesman.When we did purchase the car the financing department stayed late to help us just get everything set up. We are not sure we would recommend Car Max to our friends and family but if you do go through Car Max just be proactive and stay in the loop as much as possible. We love the freedom and the ability to have cars shipped and the overall service idea is great.

My family has had the absolute worst experience with Carmax and I am so beyond frustrated! I would give zero stars if I could!! I’m not even sure where to begin! For starters we bought our car in May and it is now November and we have yet to receive our license plates! There is some kind of issue with the out of state transfer (no one can give us a real answer) and WE have to keep calling repeatedly for new temporary ones otherwise we are driving around with expired tags! When we were purchasing the car the associate was training a new hire and skipped over a slide so I was not added to the original title. When we were checking out and caught this mistake we were told the paperwork would all need to be redone and we would have to go back in the waiting que which wasn’t an option with our two littles in tow. Since we haven’t got the transfer sorted out I am still not on title. Our biggest problem however has been that the car is an absolute Lemon!!! Ughh we have had it serviced COUNTLESS times already in the short period we have had the car… power switch for window, control pump for radiator heating/cooling system, at least 3 separate parts replaced on the axels and most recently our car has been in the shop for the last week wherein it had to be completely gutted ( I guess now there is something wrong with differential ). We are a one car family and my husband has had to spend countless days at the repair shop ( an hour away ) so not exactly convenient! Btw we couldn’t even get it into the shop at carmax because of lack of appointment availability so we’ve had to get it repaired at auto shops linked to Carmax. And the warranty people we purchased through Carmax are an utter joke!! They charged us multiple deductibles for the same claims and now they are refusing to pay for the rental car we’ve had to have while said car is in shop! We paid a lot of money for this car outright and it has been nothing but an absolute LEMON!! And the countless hoops we’ve had to go through with service repairs and warranties I am so over it! I will never ever recommend this dealership to anyone! My family has been through enough after not having a car for a year and a half prior! I just want a safe reliable car and was hoping to have good customer service! Apparently that’s too much to ask!

The salesman, John, was great. The whole buying process was real awesome. The only issue we had with them was the Carmax hold policy. People can go online & put a car on hold 7 days. 7 DAYS. Out of the about 30 cars we scanned, only 5-6 cars came up as available. This is a terrible policy. We almost left in complete frustration. However, John went above & beyond to help us find a car we liked & fitted our needs and budget.

My experience buying from carmax was ALMOST great, but had some glaring pain points.For reference, Ive bought a car before, and the car I bought was actually a second vehicle thats more of a sunday driver than a daily. And while I love the car, there were some notable undisclosed scratches that were pretty disappointing(super frustrating for a car I had to pay to ship to before I could see), and the day of was a crazy amount of waiting. Half an hour past my appointment before I even got to talk to a rep and start my test drive, and then in the purchasing process that same rep would disappear for extended periods of times, and they refused to accept a personal check because my address was out of date. I wanted to make a larger down payment but was unable to because they wouldnt accept any of my forms of payment. Honestly, if I hadnt paid my shipping fee, I likely would have walked away from the whole car based on how terrible my purchasing experience was. Like it genuinely took over 4.5 hours for a car I knew I wanted, had the money to drop, was ready with every document, and didnt need to trade anything in. I think thats pretty unreasonable compared to other dealership experiences Ive had.That said, thats one day against the overall car experience. Through their site I found the perfect car for me, had it delivered to a local dealership, and had a LOT more confidence in them vs other online shopping options because of how easily I could have returned the car. Plus they have a long history of doing really good quality checks on their cars. Overall I probably will buy from them again, but Im going to clear a lot more schedule and will likely plan on talking ahead of time about which hoops I have to jump through for them to accept my money. In the long view its worth it, but could have been a lot better.

CarMax is relatively easy to deal with. I will say I was a bit frustrated because we did purchase an EV and the salesperson was not knowledgeable about EV and did not advise that the vehicle we were purchasing did not have DC charging capabilities. We ended up returning the car and paid to have a car that met our needs shipped to the location. I was irritated with this processes and lack of communication. So the salesperson added to my stress by giving me wrong information after the new car came in. That being said…. The sales manager John helped me through the transfer and purchasing the replacement car process and was super accommodating and helpful. Without his assistance I would have given 2 stars. But he went out of his way to make it right.

Terrible experience. Had an appointment, we showed up early, and we were number three in line. An hour and fifteen minutes later we were next in line. We had the cash to pay for a vehicle in full and were willing and ready to purchase said vehicle, even with that we still werent helped. Very poor customer service. I held a vehicle online, even applied for pre approval, and returned their call within 12 hours (because I have a job and was at work when they called me) in order to set up an appointment. They couldn’t find the vehicle and informed me that it was sold. They offered to help me find similar matches on the vehicle. No thanks. I’ll take my business somewhere that better values respectful communication.

Im glad I made an appointment before arriving because it looks like there were people waiting for an hour to meet with someone - I would never wait that long to do business with a car dealership. I would leave and go somewhere else. That said, Ben was very helpful and made his part of the transaction very easy. However, the back office was unreasonably slow and took forever to complete the paperwork. In general, I would say this location is extremely understaffed and the customers have to suffer because of it.

Carmax contacted me saying they wanted to resolve the problem gave me a email address to communicate with them but no one replied even after taking 6 thousand dollars from me I still have no vehicle and the company just gives me the run aroundGetting into the vehicle was amazing. after it got totaled carmax is taking for ever to get the paper work to my insurance company they told me they would adjust my payments and get me into another vehicle but it never happened and I have been out of a vehicle for 6 months since my Jeep got totaled 3 weeks after I got it from carmax will probably never go back.

I ordered a new car from another dealer and sold my old car to CarMax rather than trade it in. The process was quick and painless and the people I worked with were great.I decided to do this after I did an online appraisal for my old car with CarMax. I was surprised when they offered me significantly more than the other dealer offered as a trade in. When I went to the lot I was expecting them to find some reason to pay me less, but they did not. Just a quick inspection of my car and they confirmed they would pay the same amount I was offered online.Look into the sales tax implications before you decide to do this. Basically when you trade a car on a new one you pay less sales tax. In my case it still made sense to sell to CarMax. Be sure it makes sense for you before selling.

I attempted to buy two cars from Carmax. The first purchase went great. The second vehicle had to be transferred in. Ive been receiving status updates by email and it still shows that the vehicle has arrived and is being prepared for me, but I was told today that they sold it to someone else a few days ago. I dont know how that happens, but they need to fix that process. I literally pushed back a family vacation by a week in anticipation of the car arriving this week.

Melissa, at the Colorado Springs office, was fantastic from word one. The first truck I found and asked to have transferred had some title issues and could not be sold. I found another truck in St. Louis and she had the transfer put in. She kept me appraised on the status and made my purchase of the truck a smooth and painless one. This is my second purchase from CarMax and in a couple years, when it is time to replace my wifes car we will be back looking for car number 3.

Bought a car here in September. It’s now beginning of May and needs new front brakes. Even with an extended warranty I was pretty much told I’m SOL. They told me I should’ve brought it in before 12k miles and they would’ve covered it yet you have to wait three weeks for an appointment. HOW do you lose 1/2 of the brake life in six months unless the quality of what you’re using is poor.Side note- we bought a truck (from a different dealer) in June which pulled our camper on a four week road trip and still doesn’t need new brakes.

I like CarMax. They have no dealer handling fees. Its hit and miss with their cars as some have low miles with manufacturer warranty and others are past warranty. This means add $3000 to the cost of the auto for extended warranty. All together, that means anticipate looking at 2015-2019(+/-) vehicles that will total over 36+k out the door. If you find a car on their lot, it may already be sold or pending. Good luck!

Highly recommend!! Went to Car Max to finance a car. I was sold on the Ford Fusion Titanium, however the transfer process took slightly longer than I needed it to. Garrett got me sold on an alternate Ford that was perfect for me. He had great customer service and a tremendous amount of hospitality! I am updating my previous review in which I gave 2 stars. After posting the review, I heard from CarMax, rescheduled and appointment and got ready for my second try. It couldnt have been more different. I strongly advise people to set up an appointment. I think that is really what made the difference. My sales professional was really knowledgable and friendly and went out of his way to accommodate my mom so she could also go on the test drive with us. The process went wonderful and the car...I bought it and LOVE it. While I am leaving my first review at the end of this one, I do believe that every person or business is entitled to a bad day now and again.EARLIER REVIEW: Honestly really disappointed in the in person customer service. The online has been great but felt that they totally disregarded my time. I was told it would be about a 30 minute wait; 45 minutes later I asked and there was 1 person ahead of me and the person said 10 to 15 more minutes, 15 minutes later, I was done. I wish instead of say, just 30 minutes they would have been real and said it is going to be a hour, go grab some lunch and come back instead of wasting my time.

Ended well. Started very badly.I wanted a very specific car. I checked my email every time one came in, hundreds of times. After 5 days, its available. I immediately requested transfer. Great! I was first (dozens of people watching this car). I put in all information needed. Carmax says Im all set, someone would be calling soon.No one called day one, or day 2. No problem, I know everyone is busy and shorthanded. Im going to call them morning of day 3. I wake up, look at my email that morning. Carmax email says my reservation expired! It says I can extend if still interested. YES!! They said congratulations, its still mine (whew!Close call!)I immediately called to set up transfer since they never called me. Im told someone has a reservation to test drive the car that afternoon . Nooo!! I begged them to cancel the test drive because the car was already reserved! Stayed on the phone for an hour,, passed from manager to manager with looong holds in between. Wouldnt do it. They said they would let me know if they didnt buy it. Of course they bought it. I was furious.Began searching all over. Eventually found another car, requested transfer and was called within the hour on this one. Transfer and purchase went well. Everyone very helpful and professional.Moral of the story. If they have the vehicle you want, stay on top of them to make sure it doesnt get away. Happy ending, I love the Lexus RX350.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I arrived at my appointment time only to be told that they were busy with previous appointments and it could be at least an hour before I would get to test drive the car I had scheduled to see. It’s not like you don’t know how many people are coming into your store, they all have appointments, so staff it! My time is valuable (I had just worked a long shift), and I don’t want to sit around for an hour at a car dealership (or in my car) to test drive a single car at a time. I was informed that I could only make a reservation to test drive one car. At this rate, I would be able to select something in a couple of weeks maybe. My rental car on my totalled car is up in three days, you were not helpful at all. You totally wasted my time that I could’ve spent looking somewhere else. And I certainly will go somewhere else. This was my first and last experience with CarMax

Great experience! Ben was our salesman and he did an awesome job getting us into our Camry the same day. The entire process is very straightforward and there is an ample selection of vehicles for whatever you may want. There’s no pressure or sales tactics like you find at a dealership. If you’re in the market for a used car then this is definitely the place to go. Glad to be a CarMax customer!

I requested a transfer from another Houston to Colorado Springs. The information flow from the rep was great. The communication flow from whoever was on the Colorado Springs side was awful, since I had to call for updates after the car arrived. David Beecher was the salesperson, and he assisted me before in an attempt to buy another truck. He was great and knowledgeable. He walked us through the process, explained everything, and didnt leave until we were on our way home with our new vehicle. No complaints about David, but the process to get information about transfers, and appointments its a bit wonky.

Fantastic experience all around. Everything took about four hours to complete from the time I drove on the lot with my old van to the time I drove off with my new van. Every single employee I interacted with was friendly and professional. I got an honest appraisal on my old van, and I felt like it was a fair price. The new van was also fairly valued. Every question I had was answered and everything was up front. This is the second time I’ve traded cars at this CarMax and I don’t believe it will be the last.

Worst car buying experience I’ve ever had hands down. I’ve been in the car business my whole life. I own an automotive reconditioning business and would never recommend someone shop at this carmax.We purchased a 2015 Lexus RX 350 F-Sport. We came in on a Saturday at 2, we had reached out ahead so they were expecting us, to purchase this specific vehicle. We did not leave the dealership until 8pm. SIX HOURS TO PURCHASE A CAR WE HAD ALREADY SELECTED AND WERE PRE-APPROVED FOR. Along the way we pointed out dents that were missing paint, and that the car wobbles when braking(uneven rotor). We were told that it meets “carmax’s standards”.Our salesperson Keenan, made an incredibly disrespectful comment to me about how my girlfriend should keep doing her hair otherwise “I should trade her in for a better model”. “There might be a Ferrari that comes on the lot at a better price” he said referring to her. When I called him out on that there was no apology, no anything just that her and I were wrong for feeling disrespected. I’ve never had a worse car buying experience, and if we didn’t need the vehicle ASAP we would’ve walked. Horrible horrible horrible customer service, horrible standards for the reconditioning of the vehicles for sale, and horrible sense of urgency.

From contacting me to see if I had any questions about my appraisal on my older vehicle, to seeing everything through during my in person appointment at the dealership, the whole experience was great, and the offer was fair and acceptable. We were told it would take about an 1.5 hrs to complete the paperwork to sell our car, we had already come in the week before to have the car go through the inspection process. Three hours later we were just finishing up the transfer, there were no issues with the documents, the vehicle, or anything to cause the wait.

I have traded in and purchased 2 vehicles from this CarMax since October of 2018. The process was so easy! They gave me great offers on both of the vehicles I traded in.The sales people know their vehicles very well and walk you through the whole process. The second vehicle had to be transferred from another CarMax and it was pretty simple and the salesperson kept me updated with emails and texts the whole time. The used cars are high quality and are in excellent condition. I highly recommend CarMax.

The cars are clean inside and out, in good shape inside and out, and have good histories. Because of this, they are generally a little higher priced than other used car lots, but you can take comfort in the fact that you arent buying a lemon. The shipping / test drive / buying experience is slow but pleasant. Overall, I am pleased.

This was one of the worst car buying experiences that I have ever had. I chose my car and the had to transfer it to where I was which took 3 weeks and then when it was supposed to be there they said it was not transferred and it had sold. I had to start looking all over again. Every person I spoke with on the phone was rude and unhelpful. I didn’t feel like I had any support or guidance or even knowledge of what the process was supposed to be like. I finally found the car I wanted at my closest CarMax and I set an apt to do a test drive. I got my own financing and had everything ready to go for purchase on a Friday when I got there the sales man was not very helpful. I was doing a trade in as well, they gave me a piece of paper when I did my test drive with my offer, but he didn’t explain the process to me at all. So when I got there on Friday to get everything taken care of I didn’t have my registration. They salesman looked me in the eye and said I told you you needed it. This was a lie. He didn’t provide any kind of empathy or customer service at all. No apology, no nothing. Just said you’re bumming if you don’t have the registration. He didn’t even offer to help me with an alternative. So I went home to get the registration and when I got back, my resignation had mine and another persons name on it so I was unable to do anything about the car that night. I had to go back the next day to get my car. No one was empathetic. No one was apologetic. Every single person that helped me was rude and basically said oh well. It was exhausting. I will never recommend anyone else to CarMax ever again

After committing to buy the car I had chosen, I found it difficult to get anyone to talk to me on their dedicated phone line. Also, I only found that the car was ready for delivery by calling. The website indicated over and over that I would be notified that the car was ready. I was not contacted by CarMax.I was impressed with the process of taking possession of the car. The sales representative was very good and, with a snow storm the night before, we had trouble finding the car in their lot. I wanted to drive the car and drove it back to my home where a neighbor buying my Subaru came back with me to CarMax. I brought my dog with me and the CarMax staff was very accommodating and allowed me to keep my dog with me. I had a 1500 mile drive to take care of some family business and I was pleased with the handilng and gas mileage. A Subaru dealership I had used in Delaware checked the car out for me. All was well except with the front and rear brakes. The rear brake rotors needed to be turned and rear brakes replaced. The front rotors were rusty and while the pads were at about 50%, the rotors were rusty and were replaced so as not to unduly wear new front pads which I opted to do.Overall, Im pleased with the car but would expect that the brakes would not require any Subaru authorized dealer repair and replace work. I would use CarMax for another car buy but would take the car to a dealership for a routine survey as soon as I took possession.After returning from a 6,000 trip to the east coast and back, I visited CarMax to share the Subaru dealer work orders totaling over a $700. CarMax immediate response was to arrange reimbursement for the entire cost of the repairs. I was impressed with their approach to customer satisfaction.

Cant use my own company as income, and upon arriving for my scheduled appointment the lady decides she wants to go to lunch and that I could wait for her (keep in mind this was an appointment!!) or make a second trip, elected to make a second trip and once again was passed off to someone else who lost paperwork and would not accept my own business income as income. Update original person who did vin verification messed it up and didnt fill out fully, found out at dmv appointment, had to return to get it redone, were again quick and MacKenzie did it properly!They were quick and courteous, did a vin verification on our purchase from out of state for free was in and out in about 5 minutes.

Don’t trust their word when it comes to warranty. Have it either recorded or documentation. Was guaranteed the chiseled windshield would be covered by their 1 year warranty, and when I called back because it turned into a crack, they said they don’t do such warranties. I guess it’s partly my fault for trusting them but when it came to the moment to talk about that warranty, pressure was on me to provide documentation for such warranty. I asked if I could speak to the salesmen because I vividly remember him telling me I’ll be covered for a year, the lady on the phone said no I can’t speak to him.TL;DR, they’ll say what you wanna hear at the time of purchase but when the time comes they turn the table on you and it’s on you to provide proof or documentation for what they promised.

I sold two cars to CarMax and both times they paid exactly what their 7 day offer showed. I shopped one car to a local dealer first, and they lowballed me with an offer less than 1/3 what CarMax paid. I told a friend and he got a higher offer from CarMax than anywhere else and sold to them also.They have a huge selection of well maintained newer cars to choose from, and I bought an Infiniti that I am very pleased with.Until a few weeks ago all I knew about CarMax was their name, but I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell a car at a fair price with no hassle, or buy any type of car two to three years old at a big savings compared to brand new.
