Great show room. Great people

Rustic Flooring put engineered hardwood in one of my lower level rooms several years ago. It was a good experience except for the fact that they ground the concrete to make it level and created a lot of concrete dust.I just recently approached Rustic Flooring to see if I could get the wood from them to do another lower level room. I wanted to just order the wood from them but have my installer level the floor with a self leveler compound so that I wouldnt have all the concrete dust. I spoke with Rachel.Rachel told me by phone that I could have my installer do the measuring so I knew how much wood to order from Rustic Flooring. Individuals cant get the wood from Denver Hardwood. They have to go through a distributor.Todd called me today and told me in so many words that he didnt want to do business with me for 2 reasons:1. Because, sometime in the past, I canceled a measuring appointment with him the morning of the appointment. (He remembered this; I didnt.)2. Because they didnt get that job.So I get the impression that Todd holds grudges and is vindictive. I remember now that I canceled the measuring appointment because I remembered all the concrete dust from the previous job.I wouldnt recommend the company. They are very expensive. Todd is inflexible, holds grudges and is thin skinned. I dont understand how a company can stay afloat with this kind of attitude.The same day that Todd turned me down another company found me and will order the wood for me from Denver Hardwood. They want my business. Somehow they found out that I was needing help. This company called me. I had never heard of them before. This company has five stars on all their reviews.Todd. for some reason, has the luxury of being mean and picky about who he does business with,

I had some floors installed in my bedroom by this company a year ago and loved the quality, it was quick, and the two workers who came out to do the job were very nice. However recently when I called to get my living room installed a different crew came out from last time. Though they were quick the job was very sloppy and had to call them back to send the crew back several times to fix a bunch of problems. Most of the workers paid very little attention to the mess they were making around my house and left without cleaning up. If you plan on getting hardwood from Rustic, just hope the odds are in your favor on who comes out an does your floors.

The pad was the exact pad we selected through our new home builder but once down did not meet the expectations we had for an upgraded 8 lb pad. We put 8 lb pad in our current home earlier this year and it had much more cush. I realize not all 8 lb padding is the same and in hindsight wish I had just picked a builder grade pad and carpet and replaced it after closing. My mistake.
