I really like coming to this location. The staff is always friendly and accomodating. The parking lot is well paved, which is worth mentioning because the rest of the shopping complex looks like a battlefield. So glad to support a local busines instead giving Amazon money.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing, got me the cheapest best option on replacing my car key without second thought even though the store was only open for 20 more minutes and went above and beyond to help me.

Love some of the items they carry that you dont find at other stores. Convenient location. Also the place I always go for propane refills.

Outstanding help from the moment I entered the door. Helped me find everything I needed to connect some propane lines and had me back out the door in five minutes. Went in to buy a plastic panel tool for my job. They couldnt find it and I appreciate the help. But they were definitely nudging me out the door saying sorry we dont have it maybe somewhere else. Honestly just felt like I was being profiled.

The total sale was only a couple of dollars but you made him feel like a million bucks! I absolutely love this store! The employees are kind and that means a lot.

Great convenient place when Im at work when i need to pick up something on my way home. A little pricey but thats the price of convenience. Smaller store with most essential home needs in a pinch. It gets a 3 star because the website isnt that great and the products online available are not always true when you want to pick up in store. Has got me a few times now. I know its not the employees fault. The staff is very friendly and are always willing to assist finding what i need.

A most interesting, kind of eccentric store. Two levels, ALL kinds of knick-nacks, hardware, much more. Reminded me of a museum! Im going back during holiday season for sure! Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Very interesting, cool vibe.

This store is great. (An update on their dog food - they moved it out and away from the pesticides awhile ago. That was a good move.) Still my favorite ACE store in town. Everyone here strives to give optimal service and they get it done. I prefer shopping at ACE because its a more personal experience. I can get expert help or advice and dont have to wander for miles trying to find someone to help me if I cant find something or have a question.

I didnt know this location existed until today. I popped in to ask about cactus soil and the older cashier woman was extremely rude and dismissive. Apparently soil is hard to get and whatever is out there is out there. There are better places to shop.

Went to this location to get a propane tank for my new grill. Worked with associate Coop. He was extremely courteous and answered all my questions. Excellent customer service!!!

Convenient neighborhood store if you dont feel like going to one of the large chains, but they have higher convenience store prices. And I concur with several other reviews, there is at least one specific cashier who is always somewhat rude.

For many years I have gone to this Ace Hardware and always enjoyed exceptional kind service. I loved shopping there to find special items that the big box store doesnt carry. Always treated well and enjoyed my shopping and check out experience. From mixed paint to filled propane and specialty cut hoses to all the great canning supplies it has been my go to place. Until these last two visits. The New Girl! Wow is she inconvenienced by customers and snippy when asked questions. Clearly I will be more hesitant and really think before I decide to shop at Ace on Garden of the Gods again. Why would I want to get any service from such a person. I am sad, to visit the store less now since my experience will be so aweful and met with contempt from a very unhelpful front desk girl! Where did the fabulous ladies go who used to be there? I can get parts anywhere it truly was the people who made the store... not any more.

A decent little hardware store, geared towards its suburban neighborhood. If youre in agriculture or construction, usually not the place to go, but what brings me to this store is they have a good selection of Grade 5 and Grade 8 hardware, plus longer lengths of lag screws and larger diameter bolts that the big-box stores dont stock. Even the ungraded hardware is US steel (30ksi & up). And a staff that actually knows their stuff. Worth the drive into the city to get good hardware.

I have come to this location no less than once a week for 5 years. I have seen the same 3 faces at the register every time. As a contractor, quick access to small parts can be nice. As a homeowner, I like to support the local hardware store. As a buisness owner, I know how hard running a shop is. Each time I come here, I am treated as an annoyance not a customer. Often I am followed as if I am planning to steal something but not offered help in my search. I have decided to post this today because it will be my last time here. After supporting this local business for 5 years, the treatment is getting worse and worse. If you are annoyed by my use of your company, I will take my substantial business to places I am not treated like a thief. Where employees want to help... or at least pretend they are there to work. Who needs this level of grumpy frustration when I go to tinker arround the house?

Great store with exceptional customer service all around. Jason personally delivered a grill to my home and swapped it with a grill I mistakenly took from their store.Very professional and willing to go the extra mile.

This particular location many times is either out of stock of something or doesnt have what another store does, a major disappointment. I walked in with a list of eleven items that I needed and left with two, one of those I had to compromise on. All of these items were what a hardware store should have. About 15% of shelves were empty. The prices at these places are much higher than big box but the convenience is worth it, if I have to go elsewhere because the place is out of everything what the hell is the point? The counter ladies are often very, very slow!

The people who work here are great! Bring them any problem and they will help you solve what you need to fix it! My recent trip I came because my new car didnt have bottom screws on the license plate (only the top ones) and the gentleman who helped me even walked out to the car and made sure they would fit! No more rattling! Yay!

Conveniently close to my job an home. Very helpful service and a lot of neat and practical items in stock. I definitely recommend this store.

Went to exchange a set of Christmas Lights I had purchased the day before. I admit that I shouldve asked for a receipt when I first bought them, but according to the cashier, there was no record of the transaction whatsoever. I have to wonder what the cashier yesterday was actually doing.Apparently though, it wouldnt have mattered anyways, because only then was I told that lights are non-refundable.Just to add insult to financial injury, the Christmas clearance sale they have going on right now is a complete joke. The discounted prices they had are about what Id expect to pay for these items at full price.

Was told I couldn’t make an exchange on a small item that was in perfect condition with the labels form their store still on for another similar item. I had other shopping to do there but took it elsewhere so I don’t support this store and items employees who aren’t educated on return policy and are snarky after they claim to know it. Also this place is packed into a corner and very pricey.

Horrible staff! No customer service! I was asked “What do you want?!” with a disgusted face from some old grumpy man at the hardware desk. Never has anything in stock and is by far the worst Ace hardware

Very patient and friendly every time I have been in! They are always available to answer any questions. The best part about Ace Hardware Garden of the Gods is that they were always focused on providing good service, and finding solutions. I would recommend them to anyone.

Are you trying to compete with Home Depot in terms of rudeness and sarcasm...was at your store midday today to find and PURCHASE. a kitchen faucet and couldnt have been treated more rudely than I was by your male clerk....I have always enjoyed shopping at your store, but now may have to reconsider....I promptly went to the Austin Bluffs store and purchased what I needed and was treated with courtesy and concern...what a difference!!!!????M Laune

I needed help to repair a wheel on my walker. I thought Id be able to find the part I needed, and fix it myself. No, Jim from Ace on Centennial is fixing it right up. I pick it up tomorrow!

Have had good service in the past and was worth the extra drive, but went in yesterday and had truly horrible service. Manager is grumpy and snaps at her staff. Product I wanted was not on shelf and I was made out to the stupid one for not finding it! Was eventually told more stock would be in today...just rang and they cant find it. Will be going to back to Lowes at Uni Village instead.

I like the small hardware store atmosphere here compared to some of the larger home improvement stores. The staff is always helpful here and I can usually find what Im looking for.

Very helpful staff knows where everything is. Prices are a bit higher, but youre paying for convenience and service.

When fixing things at my moms house in NW Colorado Springs, I always go here first. Friendly service, well stocked, great place to find what you need. I wish there was a store like this near my house in Louisvillle, CO.

Went in to get dog food and browsed the propane section, was accused of stealing and when the manager told us to come back later, they called the police and issued a trespassing ticket. So if you dont know what you want and are trying to browse, dont because youll be asked to leave for suspicious activity. It was an older rude female named Darek and the manager who lied to us is Roger.
