Wonderfully friendly staff. Very roomy with plenty of tables to play any game that you feel like. The games that they have here for sale are very reasonably priced and there is a good selection. The coffee shop is very convenient and has good food. We will definitely be visiting again

An amazing staff works at this place and they serve the caffeine so treat them as good as you would treat a cleric. The venue can get crowded at times but is usually good for small games if its not a tournament night. Theyve got lots of room and lots of space and do many special events. I really like getting to go and hang out there with my crew every now and then.

I have had coffee and Espresso all over the US and Dungeons & Javas has some of the best coffee I have had. They have a Great Board game Selection and fantastic space to play Dungeons & Dragons or whatever your favorite RPG might be. One of the best game stores I have been to.

Very neat place. Coffee bar with specialty drinks named for mythical creatures. Long tables and a wall full of board games you can sit and play for free. What a wonderful place to gather with friends and just chill out.

Me and my brother come over and the staff is super respectful and willing to help if we have any questions. We both play Magic The Gathering and they have helped me build up my personal deck so much more than I could have ever done on my own. Not to mention that we both love to come and do the weekly Commander tournaments on Monday nights which are always fun.

I love this place. Its always so welcoming with no matter what you need. From dungeons and dragons to board games, dice towers to cards. I got a literal tour the first time we visited. Not to mention the fun and tasty drink creations. It seems like a no brainer to put a games shop and coffee shop together! Always recommend

How can you beat the combination of good coffee beverages, board games Nirvana, and of course role-playing heaven! A friendly welcoming place with a very positive vibe. All ages are accommodated from kids to older guys like me (64), all happily coexisting side by side and having a great time! You just have to come here!

Wonderful store with wonderful owners. We play Xwing miniatures and Crisis Protocol at Dungeons and Javas every week and couldnt be happier with the experience. Great drinks like coffee and potions and they even have food like baked goods, grilled cheese, and quesadillas. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a large Magic scene as well as Flesh and Blood. You can also go there for board games to buy and to rent. They have a huge play area with nice big tables that can be reserved mostly for free with the exception being a VIP room. If you need a cool spot to buy board, card, and miniatures games as well as books for role playing games, look no further.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this magical place is. Between the great food and drinks, friendly staff, great layout and atmosphere, and surplus of geeky games, conversations, and events- I always look forward to spending time here. Mitch is a fantastic DM and both of the owners are such genuine people. You won’t regret stopping in at D&J’s!

My son plays Dungeons and Dragons there once a week. We had a little birthday party for our son Anns here loved it! All employees are so nice. Great coffee drinks are available and... they have tons of board games to enjoy.

This place is amazing. My first day there I was greeted like I was a long lost friend. The staff is very very friendly, and the coffee is amazing. There are a lot of tables, and I mean a lot. So The space is there for you to host your weekly game, or one shot! They have dice, to Magic cards, and games that you can play. I highly suggest checking this out.

A nerds paradise. They have tables, gaming chairs, games sets, dice, snakes, full meals, coffee and other drinks. Plus if you want to keep the night going the comic book store next door closes late.

Great cute little shop. A vast selection of board games, minis for a lot of tabletop games, magic the gathering cards, and (my personal favorite) amazing brownies! I would 10/10 recommend to any tabletop rpg lovers or even people new to the hobby like myself.

Amazing community and staff who run events throughout the month for different games. Lots of community created items also are sold here with vendors coming in to help expand your glorious loot at your dragon cave. And they offer reservations to run your next game or you can rent the VIP room and have extra flair to sell your game to your players.This is amazing place that you should at least visit once and find yourself wanting to come back again.

I absolutely LOVE this place and I am so glad we found this hangout gem. My friends and I stopped by today (our first visit) and this shop/cafe is amazing. We just stopped in for a minute to check the place out, and the employees were delightful, the coffee was fantastic, and their shop looked clean. Honestly I cant think of a nicer gaming shop Ive been to in recent history. Also one of the people working gave my small child a d20 which was pretty cute.Im looking forward to visiting again for some game time!Edit because I forgot to mention: the employees seem happy to be there, which is a big part of how I judge a place. They seemed happy, so I was happy to be there myself. Good on your guys for presumably treating your employees right.

I was really excited to come in after seeing all the reviews but I was totally underwhelmed when I walked in. It seems like if youre not already part of the club youre not as welcome. Small selection of games and decor was decent. Ladies at the counter were all huddled up and we felt completely ignored walking up when I attempted to order a coffee. We ended up leaving. Ill just continue hosting my own DnD sessions at home.

First time there and everyone was super friendly and one of the people there was even nice enough to give us a lil tour. Everything is reasonably priced and just an all around great hang out spot

Great little privately owned gaming store. Gaming tables are awesome and selection is pretty good. The drink bar isnt too bad for general public. If you have any taste in coffee though you may want to steer clear.

This place is gamer heaven! Delicious coffee yumminess, large gaming space, kind and lovely people! It was awesome! They have all kinds of events too. There was a magic draft and mini painting the night I went. They are even hosting what was described as DM speed dating! Come in and find your tribe! Cant wait to go back.

Its a good place to sit down and play a card game or board game with friends ON OCCASION. Other times it has patrons who like to yell inappropriate stuff at each other regardless of proximity to others. There are many tables to play at but it seems no matter where I go in the store to play someone has to sit right next to me or behind me. Not against the store but its bad as someone taking the middle urinal next to you when theres another open. They have some great staff and unpleasant staff but thats consistent everywhere. Their selection of games sometimes can go from sparse to more than you could ever play. It seems to be hit or miss. They run everything for magic off of tcg which is understandable for singles but seemingly price gouging when it comes to bulk products. I understand making a profit but doubling the cost of a product is ridiculous.

Im a long time gamer (board, card, and some online) and dad (14,11,7) and when looking for a safe and comfortable place to look for new family games I was pleasantly surprised by this haven!The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The store is clean, well laid out, with a good selection for all ages and players. Also covid safe!!Then theres the coffee... Im very very picky but these people nail it! The Goblin is my favorite.One other thing, they partner with outside local vendors that produce artisan quality gaming supplies (leather goods, custom tees, boxes, etc.) = Amazing gift ideas for the nerds in your life that are difficult to shop for... Ahem.Check out this store out if you like games and especially if you have children who like (or you want to give then a break from screen time!!) games.

Great staff, fun place. Tea was a bit weak, and calzone dry and bland, no sauces. Also dined in but was never given utensils. Used my hands and eventually gave up on it and threw most of it away.

They are very family-friendly, have great service! I mainly go for M:TG cards, and they have a good collection, reward system, and sit-down play area.

It is a newer shop, however, they have already impressed me with the environment that is cultivated by the wonderful staff and inviting atmosphere. And unlike most nerd shops i have frequented, Dungeons & Java has a wonderful aroma of fine cafe beverages.

We stumbled across this place a couple of months ago and their selection of games and hospitality have really helped revitalize family game nights both in house and at home. The drinks are awesome and the staff makes us feel super welcomed and appreciated; doing things like mentioning thinking of us when a game arrives and being ready with a demo. Solid customer service, awesome drinks and great business model. We make it a point to dropI whenever we can.

A gem that opened up in March of 2020, and a strong contender of one of the best game shop experience in Colorado Springs. Dungeons&Java provides space and the tools toward a genuine tabletop experience. The owner and staff are awesome and good folk, definitely a family friendly environment where you want to be. Lets help support our positive community establishments, seeing this is a breath of fresh air!

I happened to walk by this store and the name intrigued me. When I went in I was immediately greeted and given a tour of the shop, (I a complete stranger who had stated no intention of buying anything, only of poking my head in to satisfy my curiosity).I can say it is a lovely shop, the employees were joyful and truly believed that they are a part of something special. Their love of fantasy and literature was apparent as we engaged in a discussion of the writing process of George R. R. Martin while they showed me their fantasy books exchange. To round out the experience, there was a group of people happily playing a board game at one of the tables, the coffee shop that seemed well stocked with both the necessary and the exotic (I wish I asked what their non dairy options were), additionally there was a meet and greet board, and a private room for parties.I will definitely be back in the future when I have more time, it seems like an excellent place to find and bond with a community.

Dungeons and Javas is a wonderful place. They have excellent coffee and tons of great stuff. They have a lot of rpgs and board games. They have dice, shirts, cards. They host events like dungeon crawls and Tekken events. They have TVs so you can hook up your game system and have tournaments. Its just such a great place and I always feel like Im home when Im there. The staff is super friendly and always stop to talk to you. Shout out to Mitch for all the great DM tips and for just being a great guy. Also, the skeleton breve is SOOOOO good. Definitely recommend getting that one.

Holy hell, I am in love with this place! The drinks are great and very tasty. On top of that they have gaming tables and minis for use as well as board games to play. Absolutely amazing place. If I could rate it 6 stars I would. Definitely a new go-to spot for me. The atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable, which makes it nice to hang with friends and just relax. There are a TON of board games that are available to play if you choose to. They also have 5e books if you’re working on a campaign.The staff there are so kind and go out of their way to explain things and help you where they can. My friend and I even were given some free dice, which just made the experience all the better. Even if you arent into ttrpg’s it’s a very welcoming cafe.The food and drinks there are amazing as well. Overall just an amazing place and i’m glad to have somewhere like this in springs.

Love this place. Not a huge coffee drinker but Im likely converting. The space is amazing, wide open, comfortable seating, gaming tables, even a private gaming room (which I will be reserving very soon!).The staff is energetic, friendly, and engaging. Board games, Magic: The Gathering, RPG books, gaming materials (of which I have spent too much already), mini-sharing library, dice, and lots of fun. This place has it all. Now if I can them to put this space in my basement I would be set for life.I have tried some of the food, drink and hospitality ... all great. Oh, and they have a loyalty program, the more I visit the more I get recognised with various specials, discounts, etc. Oops, was I supposed to mention that? Dont want anyone visiting more than I ...Special shout out to the owners and staff, in my opinion, they make the difference. See you soon.

While the merchandise at Dungeons & Javas is slightly more expensive than online, I cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is. Their coffee is better than Dutch Bros and Starbucks; they have friendly, caring staff; and they have an open lobby with tables set up to play D&D, Magic, or Yugioh. It would be nice if they had a little more variety in the way of javas, but Ive always had a stellar experience here. As a bonus, they are being very careful about following COVID guidelines!
