They have very friendly staff and the store is always super clean and organized. Its very easy to find what I need. If I have any questions they are usually really helpful and knowledgeable.

Im really trying to like this store, but the guys working here can be a bit grumpy and condescending. Which I have a difficult time understanding, since they get the opportunity to work in a cool place and help people with their hobbies. Whenever I go in there, none of the employees seem to be doing any task that would warrant such impatience towards customers. I would think they would be super cool and laid back. So I say, Come on Hobby Town employees, lets treat everyone as you would want to be treated!

Went here with my daughter and we got what we wanted... Mostly. They were low on model acrylic paints and the radio shack selection was tiny. But they had a lot of everything else you could want.

I have been going to this location since the 90s and have been nothing more but happy it has the supplies i usually need and the people that have worked there. I do wish it had more variety of paint options for the models i do paint for example the Mr. Hobby brand (brighter array of colors) like the colpars in Aurora but i guess Ill have to take my occasional trip up there to stock up. Prices are so/so as well but when i need basics its mostly available there.Thanks for sticking around and hope you still do after all these years.

Went in for some Metal Earth kits, they had quite a few I wanted, problem was they double charged my card. When I called them, they said their charges balanced. I called my bank, they actually tried charging four times, I just didnt have the money for it to go through that many times. Now I have two wait for my banks process to get my money back, when they should have just charged me once only in the first place. Glitches happen, but this was the cashier not knowing how to do his job.

We are RC newbies to say the least. And these guys have treated us with the upmost respect even tho we lack the knowledge. All the gentlemen me and my son have encounter have been very helpful, knowledgeable, and very generous with their time with helping us. Joey I believe is the MVP of this place his knowledge of the RCs is supreme. I always look forward to visiting here and the learning that comes with it. Cant wait to work with them on our next RC project.

Got verbally accosted by an old guy behind the counter when my surgical mask slipped below the bridge of my nose. Dude seriously shouted out at me across the store to pull my mask up and then went on a tirade about how they had 2 Covid cases and one is in ICU... and the health department was about to shut them down... all the while the guy was sporting his single layer cloth wrap. It was bizarre. Was there with my 8 year old son to buy a bunch of model stuff and paint, but that was just too strange and hostile. Walked straight out.Spent $350 at the other HobbyTown and HobbyLobby instead. Wont go back. Weird.

Biggest problem at this hobby shop is the lack of customer service provided by the grumpy old men manning the counters. Dont ask about a lesser known product or brand, you will be spoken down too as though you asked for free merchandise. And if the computer says its in stock, good luck finding it in a bunch of random little baskets. Now if you are there to get started in a hobby and drop some loot on your new toys, you may be ok if you dont mind the service. This is not the only experience like this I have had. Go to the north store, better service just limited inventory.

This isnt a terrible store but the people who work there are pretty rude, Ive spent a lot of money there and everytime its like the workers hate there job and dont want to help out with anything.

Awesome hobby store! Went in and picked up a great deal on a beginner RTF - $90 for a Champ with controller and batteries included. The folks were very nice, they had a great selection, and the prices were fair. They even had electronic components which is very helpful, as I build circuits and hate waiting for days for the mail... Will definitely be going back!

Staff is very helpfull and friendly.I recommend going here rather than the HobbyTown by the chappel hills plaza.. Trust when i say this, this store is at least 30 times better than the other hobbytown

Nice store. The only ones around that had micro drill bits. I do a lot of metal work, found a great brass piece in the clearance bin. 50% off. Ill probably start buying all my metal sheets there. Great variety of types and thicknesses.

I really enjoyed this shop. It had the items I was looking for to build my own table top rpg game, a hobby of mine. The prices were really great, too. The staff was beyond helpful and so very friendly. They have some really awesome finds in here for the not so normal hobbyists. A great place to check out.

Cool place. A little lacking in rc aftermarket support. They need more upgrades for their radio controlled products. It is a hobby store after all. Ive been shopping there for 20 years and have always thought this. Get more Axial upgrades!!

There were two employees here for an empty store when I went. Neither helped me because they were carrying on a loud conversation about their personal lives and how hard they work the entire time. I was about to spend $200 on D&D board games and expansion packs, but I had a few questions that I couldnt interrupt their social circle to ask. In the end I left with nothing because they kept giving me this uneasy vibe and sideways glances like I had walked into their living room and started eavesdropping. Couldnt get out of there fast enough.

Hobbytown is out dated time to revamp the employees. goto the north store least there they know what their selling and will help you get what you need if you have to goto hobbytown. But Id goto the north store before Id shop at that over priced junk crawl space in the springs sales. Servo you can buy online thur anyone for 3o bucks and crawl space wants 65 bucks.

Careful not to rely on any warranty on things they sell, policy on warranty is unopened and unused, so if you use it, you void the warranty. Allows them to sell products basically with NO warranty, even if you have no fault, they can deny your ability to have a warranty repair. Buyer beware, there are a lot of companies that back products 100% no questions asked. Would not recommend Hobby Town.

Ive been standing here for 25 minutes waiting for the only employee that can open the parts case. All while the cashier is just standing by the register awkwardly because apparently he isnt allowed to walk 15 ft away from it for 5 seconds. Unfortunately the crawl space is closed Mondays otherwise I wouldnt be wasting my time. I will absolutely never be back here.

Hobbytown is a great place. They have times to talk and work on your models in a group. Their prices are similar to amazon, and if you shop online for hobbytown sometimes its even cheaper.

This place has so much stuff. The hobby and modeling world has grown so much, and this is the place to see it. The staff was friendly and answered questions and showed off their goods. You could tell they were proud, and they should be. Awesome store.

My debit card for some reason is not accepted here anymore. Called my bank .Bank said it was Hobby Towns end. Not the Bank or me. I dont carry credit cards because I do not personally believe in them.Guess Ill just stay at home and do my shopping online.

Really nice selection of Traxxas RC parts at the same price as you can buy them online (its rare these days!). Staff seems friendly and knowledgeable, and there are a ton of cool model cars, boats, planes, and other stuff to keep you busy!

Lots of old-school lead miniature and models to choose from. Staff have been there forever and remember you. Newer pen and paper games and cards. Good selection of train sets and scale model supplies.

Do not spend your money here. Spent quite a chunk of change on a r/c helicopter, thing would not fly any higher than 6 off the ground, contacted Hobby Town, they could care less, no returns if opened. So if you feel comfortable spending a lot of money here and once you open it, its yours no matter if its broken or not then go right ahead. I will never shop at a Hobby Town USA ever again. Wasted 400 dollars....

That was by far the worst experience I have ever had at HobbyTown. It was like I was invisible. I was there before everybody else is still cant get no help. I guess a guy with long hair and Tattoos doesnt spend money. Hate to tell you its been a hundred $125 last week in there wont do it again. Ill start going to the other store where theyre friendly. Very disappointed

Very cool model planes, interesting toys, and cool puzzles. I was looking for acrylic paints and didnt find any, but this place is still cool.
