I have worked with this most professional team for almost 30+ years. while in the military, I used them 100s of times exclusively as i needed fast work, high quality work for the many presentations, retirements and special awards. Always great work with much help in designs to meet the occasions. 20+ years later i am still a customer, a very happy customer. Well done First choice team, well done.

I will never go back here. Customer service was subpar and service to a military customer was atrocious. I brought a knife in to be engraved as a gift. After little communication about when the knife would be done I went in to pick it up. There were multiple misspellings engraved on the knife. I spoke with one of the workers there that suggested I present the knife to the recipient then bring it back to be fixed. Who presents a improperly engraved gift? They said they would replace it with a new knife and engraving.They eventually ordered a new knife (this is over a week later, amazon prime takes 2 days so I am to assume they delayed ordering a new knife). When the new knife arrived the staff realized they ordered the wrong knife. I was notified and continued to be unimpressed with their customer service. They apparently wanted me to feel like I was being inconvenient for wanting the correct knife with the correct engraving.A few more days go by, past when the knife was going to be presented, when a new knife is engraved properly. I didnt have to pay anything for the finished product, but I wasted my time and was unable to present the knife on time. The staff could not have been more apathetic towards me and I bet they were hoping I wouldnt write this review. I implore anyone, especially military members, looking for something engraved to avoid this business.

Very reliable place! Ive used them to get awards and plaques for my employees on multiple occasions. Excellent customer service.They remembered me and my company and got my order in within a week. I will definitely continue to use them.

I had my agent awards for my company done here. The staff was friendly they helped me get awards that fit my budget and they delivered on time as promised with no errors. I love this place and I will use them as long as they will have me.

Ordered a plaque 7 days in advance of when i needed it. They said it would be ready by 4pm in 7 days. On the 8th day, 1hr before the event i went to pick it up and they hadnt started working it yet. They said theyd work it then, but i couldnt wait. Ive always used this mom and pop trophy shop because they always delivered. I guess 1 out of 5. (80 %) isnt bad, but it sure sucks going to a presentation event without the award. There was a pile of things (about 30) they already worked for other people who werent there to get their product, so someone needs to get better at scheduling in what order things need to be completed.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I dropped off a plaque to have them repair it. I was told during drop off that they would be applying an epoxy to make the repair and the drying time required the plaque to be stable and not moved. The staff suggested it was best to leave the plaque for several hours at the store. I informed the staff I would be back 3 days later to pick it up. I arrive on the 3rd day and was informed that it would be a 5 minute wait while they apply the epoxy. I was very upset and reiterated the conversation during drop off. The staff member never apologized, said “well this is how we do it, we’ve been very busy and we just fit in repairs when we can”. She also said “the plaque should be okay to move and be in your car”. “Should be”?? This plaque is very important to me and I don’t want to risk a “should be okay” situation! I will NOT be a repeat customer and will be informing my Air Force and Army colleagues of my disappointing experience!

Not sure if they saw the reviews or not, but the cigarette stench is gone! Great place.---------They do pretty good work, and prices are fairly reasonable. Service is generally pretty friendly too. My biggest complaint is the smell inside the shop. I dont know if they smoke inside regularly, but it definitely smells like they do, which is horrible by itself, but even worse if you have asthma and have to stand in the miasma waiting for your order. If theyd do away with that health hazard, Id probably give them 5 stars.

My niece tragically passed away, and I had purchased a bench to commemorate and honor her loss, It was early Saturday morning, and we needed to return to Kansas City. I started calling engravers, and nobody could help me on that short of notice-- until I reached Doris at First Choice.What a sweetheart! She agreed to do it for me without hesitation. She was kind, helpful, compassionate, and did it for me right on the spot while I waited. Came out perfect, and she and her partner even helped attach it to the bench.I hadnt even asked the price because I was so grateful that they dropped rleceryrhing to do it for me. When they gave me the ticket, I was definitely shocked-- it was so low for such perfect worked that I tipped her gladly more than the cost of the bill. thank you, Doris! I know my brother and his wife will have real appreciation for your outstanding work!

This shop always does such great work! We have gotten many projects completed through them. Their prices are very reasonable and their work is delivered on time. I definitely recommend this Awards/Framing shop.

I emailed to ask if they could help me engrave a silver plate and mount it on a humidor as a surprise gift for the end of my husbands 12years as an infantryman. I stated I would need it done in a short space of time, on the spot when I walked in. They were happy to accommodate and got straight to work. It took roughly 20-30minutes, by the end the humidor had a gorgeous silver plate with my husbands name and entry/exit dates, written in italic script, securely fastened on top. The work was well done, the staff were friendly and polite, and the owner had a great sense of humor. I was expecting to shell out $30-40 for it, but it only cost $7.99. I felt quite bad that for such lovely workmanship, I was handing over so little in return. Instead I can only hope to spread good word about this business and hope that other active service/veterans in the area become patrons and spread good reviews to others. This gentleman runs an excellent establishment.

I was told my engraving would be done by Friday at 2 pm and when I showed up at 3 pm they havent even started on it. I was supposed to present the award the next day so they tried to get it done, but they didnt have the skill finish the job. I waited for an hour and a half and I only came away with one plate instead of three. The price for the one plate was expensive too.I went to another place across town and they got it done in a timely manner and it was cheaper too.Dont waste your time, go across town.

Smells like cigarette smoke, mediocre service, price wasn’t great. Owner was nice, but other employees weren’t exactly friendly. I purchased hundreds of dollars in award plaques and 3/4 of them weren’t squared up. I use a different place now.
