Fantastic art and atmosphere! The woman working was very friendly and personable; this was my favorite gallery of the many several on the block!

TL;DR: Incredible customer service, gorgeous art for any budget, and a friendly puppy to boot!My wife and I are visiting from Minnesota and stumbled on this gallery Sunday afternoon after a hike through Garden of the Gods. We were amazed with the quality and variety of the work by local artists, with excellent options for any budget.We were particularly thrilled to discover the work of Stephanie Moon and purchased one of her original works as well as a print. Unfortunately, they didnt have the print in the size we wanted, and we were to head home early Wednesday morning. Since theyre closed Monday and Tuesday, we resigned to either having it shipped or picking it up next time my wife is in town for appointments.But Emily (one of the owners) went ahead and texted the artist on the spot and asked how soon she could have a print ready. After learning they could have a print in hand by Monday, they arranged to have us come in on Tuesday morning to pick it up before we leave (even though the shop would be closed)! Reed (the other owner) called me first thing Tuesday morning letting me know its ready for pickup (including custom matting)! Thats top-level customer service that is quite a rare find.And to top it all off, theyve got a new puppy named Moose, who is just the sweetest little thing! Hes still a puppy in training, so he hasnt quite internalized dog/customer boundaries, but if you love dogs, you simply have to drop by and say hello!Will edit the review to add photos once weve returned home and hung the art, but needed to get my happy thoughts about this place down while theyre still fresh!

Years ago, we stumbled upon this gallery after moving to Colorado Springs. Emily and Reed are the owners and they are some of the absolute best people you will meet who genuinely care about their business, their customers, and the artists with whom they work. Fast forward, and DOZENS (maybe even over a hundred) of purchases later, its safe to say we absolutely love this gallery, not only for our own art collections, but also as a place to buy truly unique gifts for every type of celebration and milestone. The selection of goods ranges greatly to meet a wide variety of likes and needs; and they do framing too! Weve purchased so many pieces of art for our friends and family, and they always rave about the quality, uniqueness, and beauty. Sadly, we are moving away but given their online presence, it will likely not be the end of our shopping. Support local artists, support small business, and support 45 Degrees! Walked in the day before Christmas Eve wanting to get a picture framed as a Christmas gift. You know... typical guy stuff waiting until the absolute last minute and scrambling. Reed was extremely helpful (given the short notice) and showed me what framing material he had on hand for the quick turnaround. Great service and the picture/frame came out beautiful! Highly recommend this locally owned shop!

I have used Kemper Gallery for the past 19 years. When they retired I had to find another company that did amazing (not cheap) framing. I am excited to report that 45 Degree has exceeded my expectations!

Stopped in here and were not greeted. Attempted to get some help opening a cabinet to view some items and no one would even acknowledge my presence. Very cool things to see in the shop, beautiful artwork but the employees seemed a bit pretentious, almost as if you didn’t come in looking like money, they assumed you have none.

The gallery is chock full of gorgeous gifts, and its hard to walk away without also buying something for yourself. OCC galleries can get a little boring and cliche but not 45 Degree - their stock is fresh and features a wide array of local talent. The framing here is impeccable and reasonably priced. I am honored to have several framed pieces. Highly recommend.Oh, and be sure to say hi to Boyd the Boxer. Hes tops.

I have had three paintings framed here. In every case the proprietor spent a substantial amount of time working with me to find mat and frame combinations that really highlight the art. He has a great eye and some very special frames to choose from. The final results are pieces that bring me joy every time I see them.
