This Safeway has friendly and helpful employees. I enjoy shopping here for that reason. However, there are many times they dont have standard items that are on my list. Today they were sold out of Jimmy Dean hot breakfast sausage. They almost never have sour dough baguettes that are standard at other Safeway stores and they seem to have stopped carrying Bob Evans breakfast sausage. (VERY disappointing since they were the only store in the area to carry it!) Other standard items have also been out of stock. I mentioned it to the cashier while checking out (they asked if I found everything) and they were not surprised at all when I told them no. I think I need to start shopping at the Safeway on Centennial. At least then King Sooper is right down the road to get all my items that Safeway is out of.

Every Employee in this store was positive,pleasant, and had a smiles on their faces which is unusual for a grocery store

The two women Jennifer and Mary that work at the Starbucks in this establishment are absolutely wonderful. My husband and I recently moved to the west side and we love having a Safeway right across from our apartment complex. These two women go above and beyond their job to help with a smile on their face they always have positive attitudes and are just a delight. I literally go in there just to see them and to get a frappucino they do an amazing job they both deserve raises and promotions !! Well done !! Also the employees at this Safeway are always so kind and also have great attitudes and are so welcoming and fun :)

The store was very clean, huge, prices were great and check out was easy! Staff and employees were also helpful. And so was fellow customers as I was unfamiliar with this store.

Were on an RV trip and always shop at Safeways when available.We hadnt found any fresh salmon until this Safeway. The gentleman working the meat section, Mr. M. not only cut the pieces exactly the size requested but told us about a great tunnel drive nearby. All the staff were friendly.

My experience with Safeway was excellent. All I needed was a restroom and they had one. Nobody gave me any trouble, and the staff smiled often and asked how I was doing today. Very satisfied. 10/10 would recommend. 3 out of five stars.

Always a nice experience shopping here. They have good meat specials and produce is clean and fresh. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Dont try to go here for any last minute shopping they lock the doors 10 minutes before closing time and wont let you pick up one item 10 minutes before closing time. When I said Id leave this review to the second employee he said I dont care and its completely true that was the total attitude they couldnt care less. A number of the other reviews have mentioned the homeless situation here so if you have a choice of another supermarket Id probably take it and I definitely recommend you avoid the restrooms which are the homeless bathing area.

The Safeway on Colorado Blvd in the springs is wonderful,they are always clean and good service.. I strongly encourage the Safeway in woodland Park Colorado to expand their variety of products more like the store in the springs..

I know this Supermarket so well that I always find items on my list quickly. The items listed alphabetically above numbered Isles are extremely helpful. The smell of Raw meat and fish is a turn off though because of the Butchery and fish section at the back.

People helping me with carside were awesome. I hurt my shoulder and the manager and other employee we fantastic.

The Westside Safeway has been a favorite of mine ever since I Iived around there. Since then its been expanded considerably, yet the quality, selection and cleanliness never shrank.

Ive shopped at the same neighborhood Safeway grocery for well over 30 years. Im pretty much a sale shopper and buy only whats on special with my member card. Ive been a happy shopper.However, theres been a corporate buyout that has resulted in changes to member discounts. Now, shoppers must use the Safeway phone app to access discounts, but the app is not available on Android phones. Im a bit of a Luddite and have had a very serviceable Android for years. It makes calls, sends text, accesses wifi, takes mediocre photos and generally serves yeomans duty. I dont want another phone.I explained this to the manager, who politely insisted I would have to buy a new phone. Well no, I said. This is your problem. If you want to continue to earn my thousands of dollars a year, youll fix it or Ill drive the extra mile to King Soopers, thank you very much. He didnt seem to care so I drove the extra mile and will continue to do so until the new Rube Goldberg Safeway discount is available on my dear old Android.

While it’s sort of silly to write a review about a dang Safeway, I’m very frustrated with the customer service -or lack thereof- I’d received during my short visit to this location. I simply wanted to purchase cold medicine- DayQuil and cough drops. When I provided them with my completely VALID, LEGAL and LEGITIMATE digital ID (offered through the MyColorado app- a legitimate application provided by the state of Colorado) the man overseeing the self checkouts, as well as whatever manager was on duty at the time, Refused to accept it, refused to listen to anything I was saying, insisted it was not a legitimate ID, and wouldn’t even do any due diligence in assuring that it was an unacceptable form of identification. The checkout man was VERY rude about it, and treated me like I was some sort of hoodlum. Now, it’s an ID, and cold medicine. Not a big deal. But I truly want you guys to know how frustrating and unprofessional that was, and I will enclose pictures of this valid application, as well as the notice stating this digital ID is a legal form in the state of Colorado. Please just do your due diligence next time and don’t treat people like dumb kids.

This Safeway is the most fantastically organized and neat grocery I have ever shopped. Items are clearly marked, carefully ordered, and well-stocked.

Pretty straight forward grocery; lots of options and competitive prices (not quite as good as Kroger) but so under organized. A real lack of labels and signage makes finding some items very difficult. The staff are helpful, but it feels like I have to ask for help to find things more here than any other grocery.

They made me put shoes on. And they didnt have any organic peppers. But the security guy was nice. And I bought some ghost peppers and jalapenos to make salsa. Although while I was out, I overcooked my beans in the pressure cooker, so taco Tuesday didnt quite flow as I planned...

I would like to shop here more since its so close to my house, but there are never any carts or baskets available. I would definitely buy more if I didnt have to carry all my items as I shop. Is this because of the homeless taking them?

Compared to the Safeway in the Southgate area this store is so much better. Lets start with the Staff. Always pleasant and helpful. The layout of the store is much easier to shop. Also it is very clean. The bakery has the best and the biggest bagels Ive seen. The store is not on my way but I go out of my way as I enjoy shopping here.

These guys really improved their quality in a big way. Meats are so good I dont need to go to our only butcher in town. Signature select generic foods are often better than the big brands. Way better deals than King Soopers. The staff is super friendly. Cant say enough good things.

Usual grocery store. We had a hard time finding bottled water. We had to remove some from a base for another product.

Someone wearing a high-visibility vest was running around the parking lot collecting trash like it was going out of style. Inside was like any other Safeway. Like a supermarket haunted by a ghost from 2000.

Wow five dollar Fridays are back, no ribs? No meat loaf? Thats why I went to Safeway for ribs and meatloaf. Cheese cake was not on sale either. So no five dollar Friday. Not happy bait and switch?

Unfortunately minimal workers, just buying bandaids and bacitracin waited 20 min in line.

Whats not to like about Safeway? I came by here to grab some bread, and I was happy to see they have a shelf of quick-sale ones! I grabbed two loaves of bread as well as a cheese bread, all still very tasty. Eggs were also on super sale so I got two dozens of those. Self checkout is also awesome!

As far as Safeway goes the only best Safeway that Ive ever been in is centennial garden of the gods their staff there are very attentive to your needs as long as you go in the morning now it doesnt matter what safe way you go to you generally 90% of their staff are exceptionally rude on their cell phones or could really just care less about the customer the worst safe way that I have ever been in is woodland Park Safeway the management and staff there are horrible with customer service and exceptionally rude with everybody they encounter even towards their own employees would I ever recommend safe way to somebody no Ill tell you to go to King Soopers or Walmart first but you know it doesnt mean that theyre bad people just bad leadership skills whoever is their manager there should probably find a new job cuz your family miserably at all Safeways listed above I see a lot of management just standing around a lot of employees on their cell phones and talking and you can and yapping not wearing their masks like theyre supposed to the worst one though by far is the woodland Park Safeway they are so rude in there that I would rather drive to the springs to go to Safeway then to go in there

They put my bread and chips under my creamer and milk. The heavy stuff needs to go on the bottom of the soft items. Other than that its a good store.

We shopped this Safeway yesterday. The shelves were empty the produce was miss marked . The checker was to busy talking about how he lives in Boone Co to actually help me bag my own grocerys . It took us 20 min just to check out even tho there was only one woman in front of us who was just trying to get out also.
