Contrary to some of the other reviews, we had a great experience on our 1st visit. Stopped in with my wife and our two teenagers. No problems whatsoever. The two employees there were very helpful and assisted us when needed. Definitely lots of unique kitchen gadgetry here from strawberry slicers to dumpling makers to all other odds and ends in between.

Ive lived here 3 years and finally found the equivalent shop to one back home. My heart was so happy!! They have all the Kitchen Things!!

I love the items they have here. They are a little pricey, but they look beautiful in my kitchen and it makes me happy every time I use them.

Despite the friendly and knowledgable staff, I will not be shopping here by choice again. My fiance and I were looking for affordable coffee-making tools, and ended up going with a mocha pot, small kettle, and coffee grinder. Not only did they not have some of the brands or items we were looking for (like an Aeropress), all of these items we purchased were falsely marked down in price, and we even found the items online for even less when we got home. Unless you are looking to waste your money, I would recommend doing your research on specific items you want to buy and not coming to this store. (Not to mention their 7 day return policy.)

Quality cookware is what this store is all about. Be ready to spend a hefty penny in this store. If youre not wearing uptight clothing, they will stalk you like youre going to steal from the store. This is not a desirable quality. We will not be returning if we are going to be judged.

Wonderful items. I have bought items here for years and loved the expansive variety. I had never needed to return a item before. That let me see the lack of customer care and service.I bought an item that was flawed and actually cut me several times due to the problem. The return policy is just a week.I asked for another option or to return it. The owner said very curtly “you didn’t open the package correctly so that I can resell it. I won’t take it back”. I explained again that it didn’t work and it was dangerous and he raised his voice and said that there’s nothing wrong with it tossed it back in the bag and pushed it towards me.I will never walk in the store again or recommend it to anyone again.

Adorable, locally-owned store that I browse all the time. The staff bends over backwards to look for products if requested. Theres tons of knick-knacks and cute decorations, along with quality kitchen supplies. Would highly recommend! Prices are a bit more than other stores, but the quality of products is very high, and Im more than willing to support local businesses.

I was here on a time crunch unfortunately, so I didnt get to look around much. But they have really nice and authentic cookware here. I bought a knife and a knife bag from here recently. And Id say it was a great purchase.

Do not buy Staub from the store, order online or from an authorized dealer. They are not an authorized dealer, so your cookware is not eligible for the 30 year warranty if it is defective like ours was. Also rude when you call to ask about it after we ONLY shopped there and paid more than online to keep local stores in business during the pandemic in December. Rude :-(

My go-to when I need anything for the kitchen. The selection is better than anything around.

This place has some really cool albeit over priced gadgets. We were excited when we walked in until a grey haired old man came up and asked us if he could help us. My husband said he was looking for a heavy duty whisk. We had a friend with us too. He walked my husband over to the whisks then stood a couple of feet from there waiting. Our friend and I caught up and were looking at the whisks as well and the cookie cutters while this old man kept walking up to us and looking around then walking 2 feet away again. I don’t know if it’s cause my husband had a beanie on or cause I was wearing a jacket or our friend is Mexican and I don’t care. He followed us up to the register and stood a couple of feet away while we paid. I am not a thief and will not shop in a store that treats me like one. After reading the reviews I see I’m not the first person to experience that from this store either and btw there were at least 5 other customers there at the time. He never left us

This is where I buy my kitchen items from. Locally owned and operated for going on 40 years!!! Quality products and service with a smile. This store has everything you need to cook. Need a roasting pan they have it, reusable straws, sure, Mauviel copper jam pan yes and yes. If you cook you need to stop by and browse. I bet you leave with at least one item.

Lots of product variety and nothing that is carried by other stores. Compared to Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Macys ect. You will find different here. Quality is always high end. We have been going to Sparrow Hawk through their 3 moves over 15 years and all things are still being used. Guests always ask where we got our kitchen things.

I have shopped at Sparrow Hawk in the past so I had to replace an old egg timer this time. The new one works better now and the eggs have turned out right. Sparrow Hawk has kitchen gadgets from A to Z that are priced from 99 cents to gazillion dollars. Their quality ranges from good to best to high end. If you love to cook, you will love Sparrow Hawk.

While admittedly more expensive than many places, you are never going to find better customer service than at this shop! They are always happy to help you search through things and find exactly what you need. Even if you come in with vague desires, they will help narrow in on what you’re actually looking for and they will find it for you.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great selection of eclectic and gourmet cookware, everything from measuring cups and spoons to cast iron skillets, and even what I went there for: rosette irons and timbales. Their space is well organized, but theres so much, to see and appreciate the inventory youd need to spend at least 2 hours browsing. Im going back for the measuring cups and spoons with large numbers as Im always looking for those! You really must check this store out!

Talk about eye candy for the home chef. This shop is amazing. Great for investing in your kitchen and great for finding gifts. I love to give cocktail napkins with little funnies on them rather than greeting cards. There is a large selection here.

Has a great selection, but tends to be over-priced, even for a brick-and-mortar store. You can find the same products at nearby stores for 15%-20% cheaper. As an example, the Strongwater Bitters were $35 there I believe, and right next door at Savory Spice, they are $30 for the same product. In general though, they have enough specialty and unique products that other stores dont carry to make a visit worth while.

This is a fun place to shop! They have many unique and fun items. I love to go there when I am not shopping for anything in particular because I always find items that intrigue me. But, when I need a special item, the staff always helps me find it.

Had bought two other products here with no issues. Recently bought a (pretty expensive) de Buyer cast pan. They explained the seasoning process, and care of the product. Has never seasoned properly after multiple attempts--everything sticks to it. Was told it was very good for high heat cooking, it is awful for high heat cooking. Worst of all, its warped, so doesnt even sit flat on my cooktop. Went to Sparro Hawk, they were ZERO helpful. Told me I have to deal with de Buyer. Question for Sparrow Hawk--why not just buy online, why go through you guys? Wont be back!

Skip Williams Sonoma and head on over here. Lots of neat little things for all types of cooks from novice to expert. Sure things are probably a little pricey but you get what you pay for and if you love cooking its an investment, one that will be with you your whole life with a little tlc.

Crazy good selection, very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely come back because I didnt have time to see it all on my first visit.

The staff are nice, and they have a nice wide variety of products. However, the two big negatives in my opinion. Many of the items are marked up quite a bit. Just a quick online search can find even small things like measuring spoons several dollars cheaper. The otheer problem, not one they can help. They have a whole lot of stuff packed into not a lot space, it is near impossible for a big guy like me to get into some spots of the store.

Policy of having to return items for a full refund within a week is ridiculous. For those of us who work long hours during the week it’s not practical. Shop online—lower prices and more flexible return policy. Unfortunate.

I would give less then two stars if this review was solely based on customer service but this store has a great variety of stuff. I was hanging out with my baby son and husband browsing around the store with a couple of items. Looking to spend a birthday gift certificate my dad purchased for me from this store. One very caddie older man came up to me and asked, can i help you? Which is great if he was actually being helpful. But it was preceded by, Here, let me take those before they go somewhere. So as if to imply i was going to steal the items i was going to get. One, i was wearing a pretty tight sweater and pants also its not like i had a big purse or backpack either. Also i asked him about knives where the best before i realised what the intention in what he said was and he brushed me of to another employee.I would have never even gone in there if it wasnt for my dad purchasing me a gift certificate, which was no small amount. And if my dad ever considers a gift for me from there again i will tell him not to spend his money at a place that judges people like this. Also, i will inform my friends that i work with in the culinary industry that it would be much better to go online for any of the items you can get here for a third of the price without being judged or insulted by being treated like a criminal. No wonder why business like this are failing and going by the way of internet.
