To call Mel kind, professional, honest, extremely knowledgeable, and unbelievably experienced, would all be understatements. My experience with bringing him my sad ‘80 Shovelhead lower end for a rebuild completely blew me away. This man is truly passionate about his work, explains everything in clear terms, and his prices are very reasonable. He rebuilt the entire crank case, inspected and rebuilt my oil pump, bored out my cylinders and ordered new 20-over pistons for less than half of what other shops were asking. On top of the technical rebuild aspects, my crank came back looking brand new, glass beaded and so beautiful. I can’t even begin to thank Mel enough for taking such amazing care of my engine, and for making it so I can ride this summer.Finding out that you have engine problems at the beginning of the riding season is heartbreaking, but Mel turned it around for me, and got me something so astoundingly beautiful, ready to assemble to the top end, and he did it all in less than a week!Thank you again to everyone at Dragon Man’s.
