I was excited to have 5 Star move me from my townhouse in Colorado Springs to my new home in Divide because they had moved me 4 years earlier. I was only charged about $700 to move from an apartment to my townhouse, and my bill was what I was quoted. Since then, I had acquired a little more furniture and I was moving to Divide so I thought the quote of $1100 sounded fair. The guys showed up at 9 am and did not finish until almost 10 pm that night. On top of that, I was charged almost $1700 because I was told they bill hourly even though I was given a quote. The guys (3 of them) were very nice, but VERY slow and I was penalized for that. Prior to the move, I got rid of three large bookcases, a large desk, 2 file cabinets and a chair which were included in my initial quote, leaving less furniture to move. They wrapped EVERYTHING with plastic wrap and moving blankets yet smashed one of my tables, shattered the glass in several of my picture frames when they dropped everything on the dolly. My living room furniture has those feet that are about 3 inches tall. They removed those off of everything which was completely unnecessary. Its nice to protect things, but they went overboard on some things and didnt protect others. That wasnt done on the previous move. I wondered if it was a ploy to expand the number of billable hours. They were supposed to put the beds and kitchen table together and anything else they took apart. They did not even do that, my family had to do it. Also, there were a couple of times that these guys got into heated (yelling) arguments over how to do something. Of the 3 guys who moved me, the one with the most seniority worked inside the truck and he had only been there 5 months. I watched the other 2 struggle with how to get a box spring down the stairs. The bottom line is that I will NEVER refer anyone to this company again!! When I complained to Sharie in the office, she was going to give me a 30 minute credit then changed it to 1 hour. I guess every little bit helps, but it was a horrible experience and too little too late!!
My experience was amazing. This was the first time that I have ever moved in my life, so I was a bit nervous. My movers were extremely professional. They called me when they were about 30 minutes away. They explained everything in detail. Not only did they work efficiently, they handled my items with care and made sure they were put in the truck securely. When they unloaded my items into my new place, they made sure the boxes were where I wanted them. Overall I cant thank my movers enough for how they made this transition as smooth as humanly possible. I would recommend 5 Star Moving 100000 times over!
Told me they pack and itemize everything for paper log. I agreed and paid the deposit and now a week before my scheduled move, they cancelled my move and refunded my deposit. When I asked them why, their response was that I asked them to itemize and pack high value clothing and shoes and they couldn’t fulfill that request. Told me I had to do that myself. What’s the purpose of hiring a company who claims to itemize items who then complains when asked to itemize specific items at the cost of the customer.. yup that’s right.. I offered to pay the hourly difference to cover the extra work and I was still refused service. They claim to work with military and vets.. I’m a 70% disabled vet and this is how they treated me.. I have no choice now but to find another company in the last days before I need to move. Really horrible customer service and even worse integrity as a company.
The movers were prompt and professional, the truck appeared to be well packed and items well protected.Their standard “insurance” only pays 60cents/lb to repair or replace items after a $500 deductible.We we’re moving a grand father clock so thankfully choose the additional insurance.They assured me all I had to do was remove the pendulum and weights for travel and they could move it.If I choose to have my clock company package the clock it would not be covered on even the additional insurance.When the were unpacking the clock fell over and punched out the front of the clock. The guys were genuinely upset.Also put a hole in the wall and flooring of my brand new home.The woman that handles the claims is only available by email. She drug her feet for weeks. Initially she was going to send a furniture restoration company to look at the damage. I called the company they don’t repair clocks.I contacted the only certified clock repair company in town and gave her the information.She had the audacity to question the clock store and ask if they were charging extra to help cover the deductible!!!He told them to replace the clock was going to be over $3000 her response “well the aren’t going to get a new clock”!!!!!Long story short….FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR VALUABLES!!!
I have used 5 Star multiple times over the past year for receiving, storing and delivery of furniture and misc. things for my design projects. They are always professional, responsive and organized. The movers they have sent to my projects are always professional and friendly. They call when they leave the warehouse and let me know when they can be expected at the jobsite. Choose ANY other mover! I hired 5 Star to move my old antique upright piano as they repeatedly ensured me they would do a great job, I had several other items including a curio cabinet all of which I have successfully moved in the past with no issue. Their driver arrived REEKING of Cigarettes and rushed me through his paperwork. The two guys with him quickly loaded my items - I had everything on the driveway and in the living room to help expedite the process - my concern was my piano and I asked them during the loading process if they knew what they were doing -they ensured me they did.... I had them follow me to my new home and when we arrived my curio cabinet glass was shattered. My piano has a strap sized gouge out of the side and a chip out of the front!They banged and gouged my newly painted door/wall going down the stairs with another item. Since it was Saturday I was told I could call the office on Monday and make a claim, I was informed I had to pay for my move regardless. I called Monday morning and was told to submit a claim, I would owe the first $500 and would receive only $.60/# for the remaining balance for the damage. I canNOT replace this heirloom and am just sick, they absolutely do NOT know what they are doing! Accordingly to 5 Star I owe another $500 for them to Damage my items!!
This place is absolutely horrible. They ruined a lot of my belongings due to water damage and yet refuse to take responsibility. They claim to have delivered all of my household goods then say that the restoration company disposed of unsalvageable items. They however did not notify us of any items that were disposed of. Meanwhile, Im wondering where over three thousand pounds of books, movies, clothes and personal belongings went. We submitted a claim over a month ago for damaged items and have yet to hear back. Calls and emails go unanswered. When they are answered, they refuse to acknowledge their fault in the missing items. If you have a choice, use someone else.Today I recieved a call from the owner yelling at me claiming that my review was false and that the damage was caused by a hailstorm on the 27th of July. We recieved an email on August 1st stating that a sprinkler had burst and a small portion of my belongings had been damaged. (We received over 40 boxes of restored items and we are still finding items that are water damaged.) If it was true that the damage was caused by a hailstorm, why wait 5 days to notify the affected customers and claim it was due to a sprinkler burst. The calls and emails that go unanswered are from the insurance company that Five Star hired to mitigate. Its been over a month since we filed our first claim and no resolution. We have moldy items in our brand new house since we cannot dispose of them until the claim is resolved.
This is an update to my initial rating. I have never been contacted by a company post feedback to try and make things right. 5 Star takes their name to heart and reached out to coordinate a time to come back to our house and make any corrections/move boxes to their proper rooms. That is GREAT customer service. I have moved many times in my career (part of the job) and I can say 5 Star deserves all 5 stars in their name.Thank you Shiri and team for working to make it right and caring about your customers.

This moving company has moved me or a family member several times locally and I have had excellent service each time. The movers listened to my instructions about delicate items, as I have pieces of furniture that are handmade or require special handling. The movers work hard and have a positive attitude while working.

We absolutely loved our experience with 5 Star Moving! The 3 men were punctual, professional and very efficient. They were fast and very hard working. They did not damage any of our very big and heavy furniture or ding any of the walls moving items out of the house or into the new place. They dont know how to stack boxes or furniture. After bragging about how they know how to stack boxes they had little boxes on the bottom and big heavy on the top, after bragging that it was like a game of jenga, who puts a small box with glass on the bottom of big heavy boxes. We re-staked the boxes along the wall like it should have been done in the first place. I dont care how long they say theyve been doing the job, that doesnt mean that they are good at it. The pix with the boxes falling down is what the movers did. We stacked against the wall with the stepladder, which they had access to. They did not take directions from us and were pissy about it when we tried to help, you can see my cake plate on the floor where they put it, broken into a million pieces.
I hired 2 labor-movers who arrived on time. both of them were professional and cordial and got to work right away. They both worked for 4 hours straight without taking any breaks. By the end they had loaded 16 of a 27 trailer from floor to ceiling (standard width but 9 tall) plus some extra items. I had MANY heavy items that I could not move myself. They moved all the heavy items in the whole house and kept to the 4 hour limit I had asked them to in order to keep my costs down. Honestly before they arrived I was so stressed out about the move, but once they started working my stress level went way down and when I saw how much they had done I was so happy. I definitely recommend you use 5 Star Moving and if I had to move again in Colorado Springs, I would use them again.
The movers were great! Very fast and friendly. They loaded up in half the time we thought it would take and in grand junction worked fast and hard even in the brutal heat. The price was reasonable and the staff kept me know ahead of time about any extra charges that could happen. Great service from everyone!

Our company used them for an instate relocation last October, not only did they not pack our items professionally we had multiple items that were damaged or broken during the move. They had to stir our stuff for 3 weeks and when the truck arrived it looked like they had just thrown our items in the truck, the items they packed in boxes looked like a bunch of incompetent individuals packed it. They had stuff just shoved and framed in boxes no care taken in packing it properly nothing, we found broken dishes, furniture our large rugs were not protected and were dirty like they were dragged other items were also damaged. By far the worst experience we have ever had and we let our company relocation coordinator know and sent several pictures showing the damage. If you have a choice go with a company that is professional because that’s something this company lacks.
Yesterday, 5 Star Moving helped me with a move. They were awesome from beginning to end! The office staff were exceptionally professional and prompt in contacting me and keeping me informed. The three gentlemen that arrived at my house were professional, careful, and hardworking. They had a great attitude and I enjoyed working with them. Moving is stressful enough, I thought it was very worthwhile to have the help! (Still cant believe how strong these guys were!!!)

I had movers fall through so had to find someone quick, they completely accommodated my needs. I thought they did a really great job at a very reasonable rate. The workers were so pleasant and efficient. I used the partial pack but should have done a full pack since the ladies were really fast and packed everything perfectly!
Used this company for our office move from floor 1 to floor 2. I had several quotes done and 5 Star was the most professional and affordable company!! Moving day was a BREEZE!!! I walked the move coordinator over our plans one time and he took over the rest! This wasnt an average easy move. This was 10 offices moving into 7 offices! The movers were all very professional and helpful. They went above and beyond in helping our move run smoothly!!! They were SO fast!!! Id give NO stars if I could. Everything either got scratched, or dented. I explained I had a side by side fridge, and was assured they could move it. Once they got to the new house, and after many attempts of trying to get the fridge in, my front door was dented, and scratched, the fridge was scratched, and I finally said to put it in the garage. Yes, my mistake, I did not contact them right away, and tell them the fridge didnt go in...(you would think the movers would have told them), so 4 months later, I called and asked if they could come out and get it in the house....AND I WAS TOLD NO. After some pleading, she told me she would get back with me....never did. I hired another company, and the fridge came in the house just fine. It does have scratches, some tearing in the rubber stripping. What a mess....and thanks, for being an upstanding company, and not helping a customer out. I will never...never...never!!! recommend them.
5 Star Moving & Storage is a great company to work with. When I called to set up a delivery date they were able to get me a date in three days from the time I called. When the three gentlemen arrived at the house they wasted no time in getting the truck packed. They ensured all the furniture was wrapped in blankets and securely packed. Arriving at the new house they helped move some furniture out of the garage into the bedroom. They placed all the items exactly where we wanted them. The gentlemen were ready to leave when we noticed a cabinet needed to go from upstairs to downstairs. They did that without hesitation. Again a very good company and would recommend them to anyone looking to move.
After doing a little research to find a company to help relocate my office, I settled on 5 Star. We were in a unique situation as right up to the day of the move we werent entirely sure where we were moving to. The sales rep from 5-Star was very accommodating and wasnt phased by how disorganized we were on our end. When moving day finally came, the drivers were on time, took great care with our stuff, and finished in the estimated and agreed upon time. I have no complaints and have now used and recommended them two more times with great result.
These guys were able to work a miracle and save us with 1 day notice when our other moving company, who I wont name (CoughAllMySonsCough), literally quit in the middle of our move and left us having to wait almost a week for them to come back to finish. Weve moved a lot and that has never even been a consideration.5 Star were more helpful, friendly and more affordable.I made a huge mistake choosing those other jerks first. Lesson learned.

I moved my things in storage to an apt. on a day that was snowing. Tim and Shane were my Saturday movers. They worked fast and we were finished in the time frame quoted me. They didnt break anything even though there was snow and ice on the ground. I would definitely use 5starmoving and storage again.

I wish there was a lower rating than Poor-Fair. They are awful!!!! They moved my household goods 3 weeks ago. not only did they damage my sofa, the scratched my walls and my banister all of which I will have to pay out of pocket for. I then emailed the sales manager Melysa, who was so rude and disrespectful and not in the slightest bit helpful. This is part of her email to me when I complained about the $500 and her pair of cowboy movers:No disrespect intended, but research or no, accidents happen. I dont believe that is fair. We are a good company who care very much for our customers. We also have good guys who are human beings. If you can find a mover ANYWHERE that hasnt had a damage claim, or an accident happen please let me know, because I would like to go into business with them ;0)This was after I stated I should have read the reviews about the company prior to hiring them. She then implied that my reason behind the complaint is to get a new couch and that her movers were not at fault. I should have known they were a sub par company when the movers showed up with no tools and sticking from here to high heaven.Do not waste your money, if you use this company and they damage your furniture you will end up having to replace it out of pocket or you will get some snotty email from some disrespectful woman calling herself a sales manager. There are other companies out there at the same cost with a much better reputation. All I know is there is nothing Five Star about this company they are not even worth a half a star, so disappointed in my decision.

They were ABSOLUTELY great from start to end and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Excellent customer service from start to finish, and readily available for our short-notice move. The phone call just to get the quote was handled professionally and warmly. I called on a Thursday, needing movers for Monday. I was asked very specific questions and the agent (Aubra) was very helpful and patient in helping me figure out what we needed. Monday morning, the movers arrived soon after calling and handled things quickly and extremely professionally. We had a 3 man team and they were all very respectful and upbeat. Once at our new home, the team consulted with me before attempting to take (very large) furniture into certain (very small) areas. At my request, they attempted to move a large piece of furniture downstairs before realizing it wouldnt fit. They showed me exactly where the problem was, and happily moved the piece back upstairs. They literally put their bodies on the line for the safety of my furniture and to make sure no walls/doorframes/etc. were damaged! Ive never met a team who worked so hard and maintained such a positive attitude as these men. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat!
After a last minute cancellation due to snow by their competition 5-Star stepped up to do a complicated move for us, and for a better rate! Our driveway was too steep and long to accommodate a large truck so they had to use a smaller truck to ferry us in 2 loads to the big truck. A long day but it all got done and we were on our way. Thank loads!

Melysa and Shiri in the office were quick to answer questions and make necessary changes as we got closer to our move day. When the guys showed up in the trucks they quickly got to work and got all our stuff moved out efficiently and with care. Would highly recommend them.
I’d be very cautious of using 5 Star Moving. My experience was dreadful. I’m a very practiced mover and have never had so much damage to dishes, glassware and furniture . Many of the boxes were crushed and taped by the movers to keep them together. I felt they had very little respect for my household goods and furniture. If you decide to take a chance and use them I would opt for replacement value insurance......better yet. I wouldn’t use them at all.
I used them to move my 2500 square foot house about 30 days ago and everything went perfect. They showed up on time, didnt damage anything, and finished spot on from their estimate. They even took extra time to break down a desk to make it fit into my bedroom which was a huge pain for them. I would for sure use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Called 5 Star as I needed to move my household goods and was recommended to them by another military member As an ex-military member myself I was a little apprehensive after reading these other reviews but when I spoke with the owner of the company and she explained the situation I understood that these folks that are complaining didnt follow procedure and caused there own problems. Anyway I went ahead and booked my move and was very happy with the service and smoothness of my move. Highly Recommend! Retired USAF.
I recently completed a pack, move, and store with 5 Star Moving. They were to pack and store my belongings in Colorado Springs and deliver them to my new home across town 1 week later. Surprisingly enough the company estimated the weight of my belongings very accurately, however the $2,500 quote fell nearly $700 short of the final price tag. Be sure to ask for the price of boxes before agreeing to use theirs. Upon delivery I was missing an entire 6ft wooden book shelf. My tv had been knocked around as it was missing screws and the backlight was flickering. They tried to give me someone elses computer monitor and it wasnt until after they left that I discovered the original packers had put my expensive gaming PC in a box with my xbox and playstation all with no padding between them.When asked what was to be done about my broken tv and missing book shelf I was told I could file a claim. Unfortunately for me this companys insurance policy is yet another attempt to rob you blind. The $500 deductable would see to it that I received 60 cents for every pound of damaged/missing items. So this translated to a roughly $40 compensation in exchange for my $500 payment.In the end the company never found my book shelf. I thoroughly appreciated the pick-up and delivery people as they were a great crew. It is the company itself I would advise you to stay away from.
Do not hire this company. They are unprofessional and deceptive, and the reason i say this is because i hired a three man crew instead i got a two man crew and at the end of it all got charged 200 more. The secretary Sheree, a girl with no class or professionalism said it was my fault. As a result this move took over 2 hours more than we were anticipating, and not everything that was moved was reassembled the way it was supposed to. When i tried to express my concerns, she hung up on me. I will follow this with a BBB complaint and take this a lot further. This is the second time this company has stolen money for me. They are quick to charge, but provide sloppy services. Do not go with this sad excuse of a moving company!
An awesome moving experience from Colorado Springs to North Carolina! This was our first non-military move after 30+ years. Sherry, Kim and Betty packed us on 7 Aug 18 and were extremely professional and friendly. On 8 Aug Rich Price showed up with a team and loaded a little over 13,000 lbs. He stayed in touch with us as he delivered two other shipments. A great door-to-door move and our HHGs were in great shape. Thanks so much to the ladies, Rich, John and others. Additionally, Melysa handled the paperwork, payment and estimate flawlessly. Highly recommend Arpin/5 Star Moving and Storage.
Working with this company has been an absolute nightmare! People make mistakes, I get it. But the way the owner has handled major, costly mistakes made by her employees has been awful on every level. I had a quote for $2400.00 this company has cost me $7,500.00 and counting in damages and inflated charges. Mostly damages. They ruined my floor, a handmade dining table, and my mattress. The only item the owner apologized for was the table, she said she might help me out a little with the floor and she saw no problem with the mattress as she claims its easily cleaned, and it was never wet like I said it was. Funny, it was wet to the touch when I and others felt it in her warehouse. My belongings were supposed to be in storage, instead just a big pile in the middle of a warehouse. We left the bed because they ruined it and she actually had the nerve to ask me to come pick it up. My brother in law who is a certified water damage specialist told the manager, yes the mattress is wet and no it will not come clean. I tried to argue the extra $1000.00 she charged me, to no avail. I told her Shiri stated that I would be charged hourly, and that no one ever said anything about weight, she responded with no you were never told that. By the way they charge by the hour AND by weight, good information to have before hand, wish I had known. I could go on and on. The rest of the staff were actually very pleasant, the guys in the warehouse unwrapping my things were funny and joking around with me, which really helped ease the tension. The movers, though untrained were polite, the office girls were professional and helpful, even the manager came to apologize to me for everything that has happened. But, Melysa, the owner is severely lacking in customer service skills and more interested in defending her negligence than she is in fixing her mistakes. Ive filed a claim, well see what happens. I highly suggest you find a different moving company, I used Two Men and a Truck to finish my move and they did a fantastic job!UPDATE: I was reimbursed $297.00 in unused storage. I just received a letter stating the $500.00 deductible leaves them with no liability. The mattress they claim was never wet and they will pay $50.00 to have it cleaned if I come pick it up. (It was wet). She claims to have comped me $420.00 in warehouse labor charges with 4 men at 3hrs. We hired three men (not her employees) and were only there 2 hours. Her employees only unwrapped furniture and it took 2 of them maybe an hour. She is offering $100.00 for the damaged table and to have the mattress cleaned ONLY IF I release her from all liability, come get my mattress, and remove my reviews. $100.00 won’t even cover the cost of transporting and disposing of the ruined mattress. Thanks...I’ll pass.
Initial appointment setting went smoothly but the day of, the movers showed up late. 3 hours later they were still packing the truck (for a 2 bdrm) I had to leave to go get my kids. They were extremely slow and milked the time which ended up costing me twice as much as I expected. By the time they left my new place it was 9 p.m. and I couldnt even unload anything that night. I have used professional movers three times and this was by far the worst experience. Never will use again or recommend.
We had a very large move and now as we arrange things we find more broken things that no one said anything about. They started out fine at the beginning but the last half of day was a waste of money. We had to get another mover to finish the move for a better rate and better workers. If they would have just told us about the things they broke instead of hiding them and leaving us to discover them later we would have felt better about the company
Honestly, you must make sure youre there to inspect the work because I unexpectedly found out that they did not put my bed back together properly. I trusted them and got burned by a company that didnt respect my property and ignored my complaint. I even tipped them well to find out I wasted my money and faith in this company. Beware!!!!!! And watch everything they do because they dont care about you or your property.Hi, Im sorry. You must have sent it to the wrong email because I NEVER RECEIVED a email from you. Thank you for letting me know how you truly run your company and I promise I will tell everyone what happened to me and my horrible experience with you and your movers.

The worst service ever!!! The supervisor was unprofessional, rude, and a bit of a sleeze. Betty the packer was soooooo lazy andComplained all the time, I have no clue why she works there since she doesnt work. Also, a lot of our stuff went missing.💩
What a terrible experience. We hired 5 Star Moving & Storage for our move from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins. Initially, they were great to deal with, but when it came time for the actual move, everything went down hill.Our 2 bedroom 1200 sq foot move (plus garage) was estimated at 3 hours of packing on the first day and 6 hours of move time on the next with 2 people both days. Note that our place was no where near full - to the point where one of the bedrooms only had a very small computer desk.When the packers came, they told us it would most likely take 13 hours for the next day, not the 6 we were estimated (we pay hourly). Additionally, they said it would be very beneficial to add a third mover, which we did.On moving day, they did a pretty good job of quickly loading the truck, until they found out that all of our stuff wouldnt fit on it. They brought too small of a truck to carry everything; a good part of the garage as well as some smaller items from inside the house. The moving crew was unable to get in touch with anyone to mitigate the problem - whether it was sending another truck, renting a trailer, etc.The first business day after the move, I contacted their main office - I have been dealing with a lady named Aubra. She was incredibly rude and defensive, blaming us for the problem by saying we underestimated the amount of stuff we have. Again, remember that one of the bedrooms in a 2 bedroom was essentially empty. She said I had told her we only had 10 boxes worth of stuff, which I would have NEVER said. Especially since we were shopping around for 60-80 box moving kits.Aubra called back a few minutes later after talking to the foreman of the move. She told us that he had informed us that we would most likely need another truck or they wouldnt be able to bring all of our stuff. This is simply untrue. We were told about the need for an additional person, which we agreed to pretty quickly. If we had known our stuff wouldnt fit, we would have absolutely tried to find a solution before moving day.I simply will never use this company again, and advise anyone else to shop elsewhere. This has been by far the worst experience Ive had moving, and will now have to rent my own trailer or truck to get the rest of my stuff to my new home.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! worst experience by far. These people are crooks. The mark up on their boxes almost seems illegal $15 for some even $20 per box. First of all the movers were very unprofessional, they showed up in a budget moving truck, they could not fit all of our stuff on the box so we had to move some of our own stuff the next day kind of defeated the purpose for movers, a lot of boxes were not marked so we had no clue what went where so we spent a lot of time opening and moving boxes to appropriate rooms. we are also now dealing with some legal issues with these people and the owner MELISSA is UNPROFESSIONAL she is clearly not there to help the customer and only in it to take youre money and extremely rude. these people are not here to help anyone who is military and believe me they will threaten to contact your commander/1sg anyone they can to get what they want. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL BREAK YOUR POCKET AND KICK YOU WHILE YOURE DOWN!!!!!
Everything went very smooth on our move day, the guys were great to work with and helped allay the stress of the move. Even when a piece of furniture wouldn’t fit through our doors, they were conscientious of not wasting time but still brain storming a way to resolve the matter. I greatly appreciate Melysas help and patience with us over the past year, we never thought this day would actually come! I would readily suggest 5 Star to anyone.As a side note, our move was completed almost 4 hours sooner than estimated. Melysa and Aubra were very professional and followed up with us to confirm everything was taken care of, I didnt have to call them. 5 Star was also the ONLY moving company that I contacted for an estimate who offered to come to our location to provide an accurate estimate, and they were not condesending when I was unfamiliar with the process.
We booked our out of state move 2 months out and when it came down to 48 hrs before the first pick up date we were told this would be extended to from 2-3 more days approx 48 hours before they were to arrive and pick up. Our house was packed and we had a new job to start that next week, not to mention multiple other appointments and deadlines based on this move. We agreed and started waiting until Tuesday. Everyone at 5 Star left for the Holiday weekend and we were not contacted or able to make contact until the following Tuesday.Monday night rolled around and still no call from the movers in regards to what we could expect the following day. We ended calling first thing Tuesday to see if they were still coming and what time we might expect them and were told that the movers wouldnt be coming until later that day from 1-3pm. We were left waiting again. 2:45 rolled around and still no one, so we called again to see what was going on and were told they would be another 30 minutes late. What ended up happening is that 5 Star was going to (unknowingly to my husband and I) send out their personal set of 3 guys ( very unprofessional) and very small moving truck to take our belongings back to their warehouse. These 3 young men went on to tell us how dumb it was to take our stuff back there and then theyd be moving it around again when a driver from Arpin Van Line showed up and could actually load our belongings to be moved to Texas.We did not let them to take our belongings in fear of how they might be treated and how long we might actually go without everything. We honestly had no idea what was going on at this point and this seemed to be the best thing we could do. We ended up left with little to no options. 5 Star took it upon themselves to call and accuse us of multiple wrongs, seemed unapologetic and offered no help. We felt they were unorganized and the customer service was below par. DONT USE THEM is the only thing I can recommend!
