The first attempt had a damaged product. Larry our sales person was notified and said that a shipment was coming in this week. When it happened he contacted us immediately and set up a delivery time. The delivery guys were very efficient and very fast. I was very impressed with their knowledge of the product and the speed of the setup! They were very careful of our home and the product and had only positive comments regarding the product and our choice. Overall very pleased with the entire process! Larry made it very easy and looked after our needs in a very professional manner!

I purchased a GE washer and dryer combo and overall the sales experience was easy. The wait time for the items to be in stock did not take as long as expected and the sales associate set reasonable expectations. Delivery went smooth and overall Im happy with the washer and dryer. My only complaint is the $49.95 rebate. Why not just an even $50? Its been impossible to use this gift card online anywhere because merchants only offer set even amounts.

I am writing this review to commend Justin Pryor with Bray and Scarff. I purchased a GE gas wall oven through Bray and Scarff and have had numerous problems over the past year. In the end, GE agreed to replace the appliance, but everything that could go wrong with the replacement and installation went wrong! It has been a very difficult journey for me to get through replacing this oven since it has taken 6 months. Throughout the entire ordeal Justin has been there for me. In the end, my issues were all directly with GE, but he stepped in on my behalf and reached out to his GE contacts to assist me. He provided me with a phone number to always reach him and he has been available for me every single time. Justins customer service is truly amazing! He has represented Bray and Scarff extremely well and I am so thankful for all of his assistance. Justin, a sincere thanks again to you for all of the time you spent helping me and calming me down. Just had a GE stove delivered by Bray & Scarff and we couldnt be happier about the process. Chanel, Larry and George were all excellent when we were deciding what stove to purchase, answering all of our questions over several days via phone calls and texts. The communication about our delivery was excellent, which seems rare in this industry these days. Lastly, the 3 gentlemen who delivered the stove, removed our old stove, and set us up for sucess were as great as the sales/management team. The 3 delivery guys were Joe, Chris and Tyrone. Overall, the sales staff is knowledgeable and courteous. However, the problem has been an unreliable installation. There’s been multiple delays and this company has not done enough to fix the problems. They have pushed back our installation multiple times have the audacity to ask for payment without finishing the job. We were supposed to be done already but due glitches on their end, the installation is 2 weeks behind schedule. I realize there are many components at play here, but I have a giant hole in my kitchen that was supposed to be taken care of today. They now expect me to wait another week, which is nothing close to the smooth installation I was expecting. I hate to give less than 5 stars, but not finishing this installation smoothly warrants a low rating.

Had a Bosch dishwasher installed today by Alberto, a 25 year appliance installer, from Bray & Scarff. Alberto did a wonderful job of the removal of our old appliance and installation of the new one. He was organized and professional. He continually picked up all packaging, excess materials and cardboard while meticulously installing our new appliance. He carefully leveled and positioned the new machine and made sure it was in top operating condition before leaving. I wholeheartedly endorse Bray & Scarff for your appliance needs.

Bray and Scarff was able to remove my old washer and dryer and install new ones when Home Depot failed three times to deliver a new set. The delivery crew came out and took measurements beforehand (for a $50 fee) and when they came to install, the old stuff was out and the new stuff was in within an hour. The delivery team was friendly and conversant, and they made sure to answer all of my questions, plus they reassured me that if they had to come back and make something right, they would. My sales associate Larry was knowledgeable, and helped me pick quality units to fit my unique circumstances. Once the purchase was made, my units were installed within a week (winter weather slowed the process down by several days).

We needed a new dishwasher and there were some concerns about whether or not it would fit. The installer worked extra long / hard to install it properly and securely. We are very happy so far with the new GE Profile Dishwasher!

George did a great job explaining the festures of the refrigerator and stove we bought. The best part was that the refrigerator was in stock. We needed it quickly. The stove showed up as well. I also appreciated the ability to get 12 month interest free financing.

I bought a new Subzero refrigerator from the Bray & Scraff Columbia, MD. The sales staff (Chanel) are quite knowledgeable and answered all questions, which made my purchase decision easier. After purchase, the installation techs came in as promised and professionally installed the refrigerator. Overall, a very pleasant experience! I highly recommend this place to others. We originally went to a big box store to look at appliances. We needed a dishwasher and microwave. They had no one to help up so thanks to Google they directed us to this little place. Well it is only little on the outside. They have a large, noce showroom. We were greeted immediately but no one approached until we were in the area of appliances we were there to look at. Even then he only potioned himself to be available to us for questions. When we started talking price and buying he was able to help us make a good decision based off our needs vs what we wanted to spend.We were offered a warranty but not pressured. Our install is set up and I cant wait to see how this goes as their installers get excellent reviews as well. Thank you to the staff at Bray & Scarff for making this as easy as possible!Edit: installation was horrible. From times given opposed to what we were told vs the actual installation time table (45mins vs 1 and a half hours) to how many people. The job was not done to completion. There was a weird flap left out and the kitchen was a total wreck. Wood chips and dust every where. Cant win them all or at all apparently. It always goes south when they get into the house. Still zero info about the refund process also. Even though we were told we would be contacted the next morning.

The experience was great. Bray and scarff matched the competitors price and I was able to get delivery within a few days. The old refrigerator was removed and there was no damage to the house. The installers were professional, clean and knowledgeable. This was my second refrigerator purchase from this company. The first one a mistake was made and they return the refrigerator the same day and replaced it with the correct one. Service has been uniformly excellent and their office responds promptly.

We had been living without a working fridge since Thanksgiving and washing machine for 6 weeks. Both were under warranty but after five tech visits, the fridge was deemed not repairable and the parts to fix the washer were on back order with no delivery estimate (Samsung sent the wrong parts and a box of damaged parts the first time).Chanel was wonderful to work with! She made my day when she told me both the fridge and washer we wanted were in stock and could be shipped in two days! I was so excited when the delivery truck pulled in! Shane and Enon couldn’t have been nicer! Both were very attentive to detail and super nice to work with! We are very happy with our purchase and the delivery service!

I purchased our new dryer over the phone with the Columbia, (Maryland) location of Bray and Scarff due to COVID. I was nervous making such a big purchase without going into the store but the Customer Service representative, Chanel, was extremely patient with my many concerns and multiple calls. She was very detailed- asking me specific questions to ensure I was purchasing the correct dryer for our needs and home space specifications..The delivery gentleman were fantastic! They complied with my requested timeframe, were in PPE during delivery to include masks and gloves, and communicated with me via cell phone during the installation to include sending me pictures to ensure the location was to my satisfaction. After installation, I had issues with processing my rebate online and, once again, Chanel came to my rescue to assist me:-). This was a totally great shopping and customer service experience- Chanel and the delivery crew were excellent!! I strongly recommend this store for any appliance purchase. I thought they were going to be more expensive but the prices were competitive to local and online stores. Getting the great, personal customer service was an added benefit. Amazingly the whole transaction took less than 5 minutes to complete the sale, organize the service and removal of my old equipment. Big fan of the 5 year warranty I was able to scoop the entire $899.95 and put it towards my new refrigerator. I would use Bray & Scarff again.

All in all, not a bad experience, but there were issues. Sales people were fine, delivery happened slightly later than scheduled. Biggest issue I have with this store, they charged me for all possible parts for installation when I bought my dishwasher, then said the would reimburse me for any parts not used. That did not happen. Also, the Assistant Sales Manager said there would be a $50.00 rebate. When applying for the rebate, I was informed that I did not qualify. My advice to the consumer, do not accept verbal commitments from this B&S store location. I will be wary of returning to it. I ended up paying more than expected because what I felt was misleading incentives/reimbursements that did not happened as promised.

We learned a lot. We are now planning to replace our refrigerator, and Ms Logan at Bray & Scarff will be the person and place to buy it.

This review is for Bray and Scarffs kitchen and bath renovations division, Dobbin road, Columbia. When looking for a contractor, you are not hiring Bray and Scarff per se, but a dozen or so subcontractors. My 3-bath renovation which began on March 14, 2018 by Bray and Scarff turned into a 9 1/2 month nightmare, finishing just before Christmas 2018. I was promised that the project would be completed in 4-6 weeks. Bray and Scarffs multiple sub-contractors failed to show up for a total of 100 business days. There is no over-site, supervision, or accountability of sub-contractors.From the start, Bray and Scarffs multiple sub-contractors ordered the wrong tile, laid the tile incorrectly, shipped defective tile, tile was always out of stock, didnt order enough tile, short wainscot, ordered wrong hardware, plumber mistakes, etc. Every mistake had resulted in a 3-week delay. I was without a washer and dryer for weeks at a time and didnt have the use of my garage and driveway for 9 1/2 months. Frustrated by the lack of progress and lip-service by B&S and subcontractor, I contacted the area manager. The area manager has had no impact on the productivity and was unable, unwilling, and powerless to correct the problems.Bray and Scarff uses unlicensed and unskilled tile installers (We Floors) that were completely unskilled and incompetent. They had no idea how to properly install tile, and on multiple occasions had to rip up the tile they just put down. They were eventually thrown out of my house. After the project was completed in December of 2018, I had to spend good money after bad, and hired a different contractor to fix the multiple mistakes and shoddy workmanship. My complaints to Bray and Scarff executive management went completely unanswered.There are systemic failures at every level at Bray and Scarff, along with a complete lack of competency, communication, and integrity. In my 25 years as an operations executive, Ive not seen anything quite this bad. They are simply the worst of the worst.UPDATE: After posting this review, I was contacted by Bray and Scarff and was asked to contact them so they could make things right. I contacted them twice to no avail. Bray and Scarff just does not care, and only wants to make the appearance that they have made an effort.

Hello. I am not a happy customer. I was in need of a refrigerator for my garage so rather than buy at a big box store, I decided to give the Bray and Scarff in Columbia, MD a shot. I purchased a refrigerator on October 24th and I STILL dont have it. It was scheduled to be delivered on November 7th, but I got a call from the manager the day before claiming the refrigerator was damaged coming off the truck and they would have to order a new one. I was schedule to have a new one delivered on Saturday, November 14th. I hadnt heard from the manager so I called him, and he informed me AGAIN that my refrigerator was damaged coming off of the truck. I spoke to the manager again, and he provided nothing but excuses, even claming that things happen and that it wasnt their fault. This is inexcusable and suspicious to say the least. What are the odds that two refrigerators arrive damaged. I want my refrigerator. The lack of accountability and urgency is beyond frustrating.

Instead they greet you warmly and give you a few minutes to browse and then approach you to ask if they can help you.Our second purchase was an above-the-stove microwave and once again we were instantly at ease when walking though the door. I went to the Dobbin Store in Columbia on Saturday August 20, 2016 to simply price up 4 new appliances for my home. My intent was to think about the purchase and get back with them on our decision. Well, our salesman Craig did such a wonderful job working with us that we decided to purchase that day. He was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable about all products. My husband and I went in on a Sunday looking to purchase a new dishwasher after visiting all of the Lowes and Home Depots in the area with no success. We were greeted by Chanel within moments of walking into the store, and she showed us a few options for what we were looking for in our price range, then left us to our own devices. No pushy sales pitch or anything like that! We were able to find exactly what we were looking for within minutes, and were out the door with our new machine all well within an hour. We recently purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher from Bray & Scarff, and we were very pleased with the salesmans level of knowledge on the each of the products and with his help determining what would work best for our lifestyle. The delivery guys were great. They had to do a lot of logistical planning to get our old appliances out and the new ones in. They were kind, engaged with the entire family, were efficient with their time, and ensured that we were educated on how to run and maintain our new appliances. I would also recommend this company because they match the price of any of the big box stores.

Second time purchasing from this particular Bray & Scarff. Thanks to the current Covid19 restrictions I opted to schedule a phone call with the store staff. Larry walked me through all the questions I had about delivery and set up options; and went above and beyond to help make sure we got the washer we needed vice driving us to something more loaded or expensive. That kind of service is a rarity and is why we choose Bray & Scarff over a big box store!

In retrospect, we wish the salesman had asked us pertinent questions about the oven we were buying, such as “What electrical outlet will you be using?” The appliance is fine, but we had to get the plug reconfigured and should’ve been alerted. Also, the salesman seemed to want to engage in Trump-style immigrant bashing.

It was a joy to have gone to Bray & Scarff. I have always gone to Home Depot or HH Gregg for our appliances. We will be going to Bray & Scarff in the future. The salesman knew the product very well and had great suggestions. The delivery and install was excellent.

I ordered cabinets and appliances for my kitchen remodel. I had a contractor install the cabinets but contracted with Bray & Scarff to do the installation of the appliances Cabinets are fine, my issue is the appliance order and install. I placed the order in August for delivery Oct 3rd. Since the oven hood was back ordered I pushed back the appliance delivery and install until Oct 9th. The appliances minus the hood were installed on this date, but the oven hood was back ordered until Oct 30. Then it was back ordered until November 15th and then back ordered until November 23rd, when it was finally delivered. However the installers who delivered the hood did not have the tools required to do a ducted install and I was referred back to the office. When I called today to make arrangements, I was disappointed to learn that the oven hood would not be installed without an additional charge because even though I purchased both the cabinets and appliances from Bray & Scarf and had made it infinitely clear when my order was placed and during the ongoing (patiently endured) delays, that a ducted install was what I wanted, it was somehow not something that was covered in my contract. It defies reason. I would have purchased the hood from another source and had my kitchen finished a long time ago, if this had been made clear in the beginning. They need to get their act together and provide better customer service. 2 stars is being generous.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Chanel was attentive and helped with our decision making. The delivery team was phenomenal! Cliff/Enon/Andre really did their thing. They were professional, efficient, funny, and provided white glove service! Happy to have encountered each of them during this process.

Sales experience was excellent. Richard installed the microwave and showed us why the exhaust fan had not been working effectively. It was a 5 second fix, but he was very efficient and effective.

Would give zero stars if possible. Great appliance. Great installation. Terrible communication skills and even worse customer service. They charged my bank account $1,368.74 for a new cooktop, while my receipt showed $1,318.79‬. Refused to acknowledge the $49.95 overcharge, and only kept referring me back to my receipt. Only agreed to refund the overcharge because they got mad at me - I refused the refund because they refused to acknowledge the problem, and I will never shop there again.

Huris and Noe from Bray & Scarff (Columbia, MD) have provided excellent delivery and installation service for my new MAYTAG washer. The whole process has taken no more than 20 minutes. The washer has been properly leveled and the water lines have been secured and tested. Really great job!!!

We did not buy a refrigerator today but Craig Dehnbostel was a huge help and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be going back to this store when we are ready to buy any new appliance. The prices and sales at this store also looked in line with their competitors.

This review is for Jenna, the Rockstar customer service rep from the warranty department at Bray & Scarff. We were feeling defeated after our KitchenAid refrigerator went up less then 18 months after installation. When we called Jenna we were a month into the COVID situation and had just purchased a lot of food so that we would not have to go out. She expedited our service date and kept us informed while making multiple follow-up calls to keep us in the loop regarding our ordered parts and our repair date. Her attention to detail, her professionalism, and her accessibility has been greatly appreciated. We were able to get the repair done swiftly because of her. She was very knowledgeable and educated us on the specifics of our warranty plan. This company should be grateful to have her working for them. We have not experienced this level of superior service in such a long time. Kudos to Jenna at Bray and Scarff and a special shout out to Mike the service technician who quickly diagnosed our problem and repaired our refrigerator, his service was impeccable as well.

Larry was helpful and responsive. The measuring, install, and electrician crew were efficient, timely, and professional. I would use them again.

My family and I couldnt have been more pleased with our purchase of a stove hood from Bray and Scarff. Ray, the salesman, was extremely helpful, and Alberto and Jose, the men who installed it, were efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. We went to B&S because they sold us our stove 15 years ago and it has proven to be one of the best kitchen appliances we have ever bought. Five stars, well earned.

Bought a Whirlpool dryer and got a very good deal. Delivery: They took the old dryer, installed the new one (even had to take the laundry room door off)... they were in and out in 30 minutes! Wow! Great service!

So much better than Big Box. The delivery people are also much more experienced and professional. Wont use big box ever again. Things went so smoothly with our most recent over-the-range microwave purchase and delivery (thanks, Richard!)

Great customer service by Ron Hutchison who addressed all of our questions and never pressured us to purchase. Richard did the delivery and installation. Richard was very professional and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. One of the reasons that we purchased from Bray and Scarff is because they employee highly trained professionals like Richard to do the install and repairs. Also the price was very competitive and with the rebates for the installation and delivery it was better than anyone else.

Thank you to Ben and Noel for installing my new laundry center. There was a question on whether it would fit or not, but Ben made a call and was told how to do a side vent and got it in! Very nice men and they did a good job!

The experience with Bray and Scarff was excellent from start to finish!! From their web site, to the purchasing experience with their sales manager, to the quality and condition of the merchandise, to the delivery and installation process with their technicians. I can’t say enough! The Columbia Store Manager, George Adu, assisted me. He is friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable and professional.Bray and Scarff may be a little more expensive than some of their competitors but if you value your time, stress level and sanity; it’s well worth it.I had come to Bray and Scarff after yet another nightmare of an experience with Home Depot. I am a landlord and do renovations and replacement of appliances periodically. Since Sears is pretty much out of the picture now, I’ve used Home Depot. It’s never fun with them. This time, not only did Home Depot mess up my order twice, but when I took the day off from work to receive my delivery; out of six items to be delivered, two of the items were damaged and one was the incorrect model. To add injury to insult, the dispatcher and delivery technicians were rude and unprofessional. Finally, to get everything fixed, redelivered and installed, I was going to have to take off from work TWO more times... REALLY!?!That’s when I called Bray and Scarff and my only regret is that I didn’t call them first.They are now my go to appliance company for life!Thanks Bray and Scarff. You had me at hello!

The sales experience was interesting. I worked with Larry to make sure the dishwasher we bought would fit in to a tight space. He assured me, no problem. Got home and felt I rushed. Came in this past Sunday and worked with Bill. What a difference in style. Bill was thoughtful about our dilemma. We canceled the Whirlpool we had ordered and purchased a floor model KitchenAid. Richard came yesterday to install it. We had our wood floor guy ready to take out part of the floor. Richard was diligent and careful. Got the dishwasher in and no problems with our floor! Bill (sales) and Richard (installation) are a great combo.
