Firstly, I would like to preface this note of appreciation by saying that I am not one that typically leaves reviews for anything. My experience with Gramophone’s team certainly compelled me to do so. I would like to formally and sincerely express my gratitude for the amazing work Gramophone did on my home theater project. The quality of work was definitely apparent throughout the various stages leading up to the install. I would also like to take a moment and acknowledge a few of Gramophone’s team members: Luke, Gus, and the Christians who were the keystone in making my dream theater come true. Firstly, from the moment I met Luke in my local Columbia store, I knew I wanted to establish the relationship with Gramophone. At the time of speaking to Luke, I was concurrently shopping around other vendors and determining who would ultimately gain my business. I already had a few other competitors come out and look at my space. In meeting Luke, there was a complete 180 degree feeling that naturally made me want to work with him and most importantly, learn from him. He was never trying to sell me equipment but instead, educate me on the process and learn more about what I was envisioning at the time. He was the chief reason for going through Gramophone. Aside from his tremendous range of knowledge he possesses on home theater/audio, he is ABSOLUTELY one of the most personable individuals I have ever met. His admirable qualities such as, commitment, integrity and respect for others is unfortunately becoming a rarity in todays times. Luke is someone I could rely on throughout the entire process that made multiple trips to my home just to ensure we were accounting for every nook and cranny of the home theater planning process. Quite simply-he was AMAZING to work with and actually view him as a friend that I now share the same passion for everything home theater related. Next, I would like to praise Gus who was the individual that came by our home to take all the detailed measurements of our theater room and ensure proper configurations were addressed accordingly prior to the final install stage. He was a PLEASURE to work with and finalizing my overall thoughts in terms of what I was already envisioning the space to look like. Gus was instrumental in fortifying my decisions on the design phases and tweaked several of my ideas which made situations much more advantageous and running them to fruition. His engineering plans for the space were quite impressive and his attention to detail was something I simply had never seen before. You could say Gus was the very critical conduit between the planning phases and install phases of the overall install. Had it not been for Gus, the room layout would not have been as robust nor would the performance of system be as evident. At a point where there may have been a spacing constraint, Gus was quick to advise on workarounds and provide other alternative solutions. His PASSION for design was indicative of our final room layout that is quite simply magnificent! Last but not least, would like to thank the individuals known by the Gramophone community as the Christians. Their PROFESSIONALISM and EXPERTISE was evident throughout the two days of installing all the different equipment in my space. They did a wonderful job hanging my projector, installing the in-wall speakers, setting up my large screen and situating my rack enclosure...etc. Both Christians were very ACCOMMODATING and although they each focused on a certain area of the project, it was great to see the level of teamwork that was constantly on display. Overall, Gramophone’s incredible employees breadth of knowledge exceeded all of my expectations and I cannot say enough about their level of customer service. They are truly unsurpassed when it comes to their level of precision and attention to detail! In fact, Gramophone has been highly praised and recommended to all of our family, friends and neighbors--you have gained a customer for life!

I have worked with Andrew Davis and his team setting up security and the AV system at my new home. Gramophone has been terrific. First, they were willing to work within my budget. Second, they have excellent equipment and service, and their install was clean and efficient. And finally, their post-installation service has been excellent. I have called on numerous occasions for help with learning my systems or just to work out glitches, and they always have been extremely responsive, even when I reach out on weekends. I highly recommend working with this Company.

Thank you Gramophone, especially Ricardo, who helped us with advice and purchases.His professionalism is commendable as he demoed the spinbase for us. We didn’t know that we could get such pure sound from a vinyl record until we heard one play through a spinbase. We were so impressed that we bought two. Also, in helping with the choice of a new turntable, Ricardo showed us the different choices and we picke the Audio Technica ATLP1240. What a pairing of the two components. It’s amazing! Attended the fall event and was blown away, just like the leaves from the trees! Gramophone has top of the line equipment, and second to none service. After talking with Luke I knew I was in the right place. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I will definitely be back to the store, and would highly recommend it to others!

I went to the Elegance VIP Fall event and was completely blown away. They had the very best demos of various different speakers and companies that I have ever seen. The CEO of Totem came out and even commented how you can’t beat Gramophone’s quality of installation and expertise. The interior of the building is so beautifully laid out with all of the latest audio/video tech scattered throughout the building. The employees couldn’t be nicer. Their expertise is unrivaled and were able to point me in the right direction with all of my questions. I highly recommend talking to Luke Wilmer. He was able to help me immensely. **IF YOU ARE ENTERTAINING INSTALLING A HOME THEATER, GRAMOPHONE IS THE ONLY ANSWER.** Don’t waste your time going somewhere else. This place is the real deal!

We hired Gramophone to do all the AV, lighting, and security integration for our new home and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Andrew Davis communication was excellent and he worked with us to find the optimal solutions for what we wanted and our budget. It was not the least expensive proposal we received but we felt confident about their work and were really pleased with their professionalism, communication, and industry knowledge. Jesse led the installation team and was at our home every day for two weeks- the team was trustworthy, timely, and very hard working. They were also very conscientious about keeping our home clean and neat while they worked. The end-of-project walk through of the equipment was thorough and detailed. We couldnt be more pleased. Would absolutely recommend their services (and already have)!

We have been long time customers of Gramophone both at home and workplace. We have built several homes and Lee Kirby-Smith is awesome. He has been the coordinator/sales guy for each project over the years. He knows us very well and our needs and has done an amazing job incorporating sight and sound into our home. Gramophone built an award winning theater for us and we have thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities throughout our home. All the employees are like family to us as well and they do a great job. I highly recommend Gramophone. They are high end but worth every penny.

Gramophone is amazing! Everyone from our sales person, Lee Kirby, to the installers were extremely knowledgable and an honor to work with. They were able to take an unused spot in our home and make a paradise that my wife and I can enjoy for years to come. We will definitely be using Lee and his team again!

We used Gramophone in December 2018 to upgrade an existing home theater. We worked with Lee Kirby-Smith and were very pleased with his customer service. From beginning until the end Lee was there to explain what to expect for our installation, even on the day of, making sure all was correct. It was important to us to have our theater finished by Christmas. Lee did everything in his power to make that happen. We are beyond thrilled with our new theater and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lee and his team to anyone looking to add a home theater. They were resonably priced, very knowledgeable, and most importantly on-time!

This place is the Disney World of home entertainment, electronics, lighting, home theater and more. The store has great ambience and the staff are eager to help with their relational and technical skills. I particularly liked Luke who was very knowledgeable yet down to earth, he didn’t try and sell me the most expensive equipment but focused on what was best for me...good job.Keep in mind this is upper end equipment and high quality. Yes it can cost you but Gramophone does everything...they can practically build your house.I sense that to them no job is worth doing unless it’s done right. They stay available to you years after your purchase. Go Gramophone!

From my first visit to their showroom, I was blown away with the size of the facility. They have individually niched rooms with the most sought after equipment an audiophile could want.My wife and I recently bought an older farmhouse and I visited them for some home automation needs, I quickly discovered they offer that and so much more. The staff is so friendly and they explain things so that we both can understand, the selection is unparalleled and aftercare service has been wonderful.The only real problem with Gramophone is I pass their showroom on my way home from work and I have been spending a bit too much time and money lately! I would highly recommend this operation and team. A+ in my book

I had the wonderful opportunity to spend the evening at Gramophone for their Elegance event. Their showroom floor is out of this world. Ive been a home sound enthusiast for a long time but I have never seen quality like the products they were offering and demoing. I had the privilege to sit through the Totem presentation - a product demo unlike anything Ive ever experienced. Before the presentation Luke got me up to speed on what was happening the industry. Afterwards he took me through several comparisons of other products that were being presented during the event. Luke has an ability to make the most technical subjects understandable and his no-pressure sales techniques are very appreciated in a world where getting the customer to buy before they have a chance to think is the standard. He does an excellent job of presenting value and allowing you to make your own decision. I would work with him again without a doubt.

I have now used Gramophone twice to purchase a new TV and other sound system components. Most recently I visited the Columbia store and worked with Tony. Tony helped me with a new TV, Receiver, Roku, Blue Ray player and high quality cabling. I had numerous questions for Tony about various components and he patiently answered my many questions and made recommendations to me. Gramophone did the installation and the guys doing the installation were extremely professional and helpful. I compared the pricing that Gramophone offered for my TV and components and found them to be the same as other local sources. I have used Gramophone twice and would not think of going to anyone else. Good pricing, professionalism, technical expertise and great customer service!

Worst communication worst customer service. I signed up with them for my home theater few months ago, but havent completed the job yet. Its very poor communication from the person I deal with. I reported the unresponsiveness to the store, but there was no action taken, he continued his communication at the same way.I wouldnt recommend to any of my friends to this unreliable store.Now I think bestbuy or other reputable companies would have done a good job and listen to customers concern.

Pretty nice setup inside, however I felt like if I didnt pull up in a Bently then I was just wasting everyones time. Also, the hours of operation are really inconvienant for a retail store - they close fairly early on the weekdays and arent open on Sunday. Having small kids it took me almost a month just to make it to the store because of the hours.

Awesome place for high-end A/V

You get what you pay for and gramophone is worth every penny. They have amazing costumer service and extremely knowledgable people. What I value the most about my experience is that Josh, my go to guy worked with me and came up with a solution that fit my needs and budget. I didnt know a lot about the newer technology and he didnt try to oversell me based on that. He also never made me feel stupid for asking questions. I have been able to call him and walk through issues over the phone without needing a service call. To prove my point, Josh just drove 1 hour, at no charge, to fix a problem with my TV ( that I probably caused) You cant get kind of service anywhere!
