I live in Louisiana and was in the market to purchase a new Palisade. I shopped from New Orleans to Houston. What I found was every dealership I went to increased the price ABOVE MSRP by about $4,000. I wanted a specific color with specific features. I found a matching vehicle online at Joe Machens Hyundai that was being sold at MSRP and not a penny more! My Sales Professional was Daniel O’Brien. He was AMAZING!!!! He went above and beyond to make sure the sale was seamless and offered exceptional customer service after the sale was complete. My vehicle was shipped via a trucking company to my doorstep for $1200 which I found to be very reasonable. If you are considering doing business with this company, don’t hesitate!! If I’m ever in the market again for a Hyundai, this will be my go-to business.

Service was great as I did not wait too long. All employees are professional and have the positive attitudes. I drive my first Toyota Camry from 1998 to 2004 and my second Camry from 2004 to 2021. I took a Leap of Faith snd bought my First Hyundai Santa Fe. So far I love it🤗🥰😍. I really like sitting up higher! I felt vulnerable driving in a sedan staring at the big front and back ends of the big A!! Big Horn Ram Dual Cab trucks and big Dually Farm Trucks with Cattle guards and huge hitches. The Santa Fe fits this 4foot 11 inches lady just perfectly!!

Keith was able to hook us up with a great 2021 Hyundai Elantra SEL. No overly pushy sales tactics, really informative test drive, and overall pretty comfortable experience. A few days in and I’m loving the car I bought here!Only con is that finance was pretty pushy trying to sell you extra warranties on top of your vehicle purchase- but I guess that’s pretty standard for most dealerships. It’s a fun exercise to see how many times you can say no before they give up.
Better off to go to Jefferson City or Kansas City! Terrible experience! Horrible customer service! First they said the car wasn’t on the lot and then I found it. Then it wasn’t for sale and then it was for sale. Got into filling out information. As soon as I mentioned I have an employee discount, it wasn’t for sale again! Worst experience ever! Dylan and Jeff were very unprofessional!I was led on and ended up being extremely disappointed.They went back on their word several times. Very untrustworthy!

4 1/2 StarsI drove 3 hours round trip to shop here! It took me three tries to find a Hyundai dealer that didnt try to play games (see below*). Because of the distance, they worked with me via phone calls and Docusign to make sure I knew exactly what the terms were. and I only had to go pick up the vehicle when I was ready. They never tried to hide fees or sneak in any costs that werent fully disclosed. Im taking one half star off because the first salesperson I spoke with on the phone said hed get some information for me and call me back, but he never did. I had to call back a few days later and start over with a new salesperson.*I first tried to buy a specific Hyundai from a Hyundai dealer in St Charles. Unfortunately, they tried to play games with Hyundai incentives and financing. Nest, I went to a Hyundai dealer in Hazelwood with the intent to purchase. Id consulted with a sales person and sales manager via phone the two days before my visit, thinking Id covered everything, only to have them add a $5000 market adjustment to the price listed on their website, and tell me their discount listed on the website was actually Hyundai incentives for which I didnt qualify.

I purchased my new Santa Fe here 2 days ago after buying my 2006 Santa Fe here new. Throughout my years of coming to the dealership for maintenence, the Staff have always been attentive, caring, and wanting to do what was best for me. I knew when it was time to retire the 2006, I wouldnt go anywhere else but Joe Machens Hyundai. And I was right..the same prompt, attentive service, no pressure, lets get you what you want/need attitude Ive always encountered here. Lio, the Salesman was amazing..his depth of product knowledge, benefits, attention to detail and his ability to listen to what I needed made the experience easy and relaxed. Jeff assisted in finding me the most car for my money, Will went over all the paperwork so I was clear on every detail, and Mason was very supportive as well. Other Staff we encountered express congratulations on our purchase. I loved my 2006 Santa Fe...I put that car through some stuff over the years and it did everything I needed it too and more. I knew Id stay with a Hyundai product and I knew I would get it from Joe Machens Hyundai in Columbia.
Edited: I was contacted by management and was able to find a satisfactory solution. Seems to have been an honest mistake with poor oversight, and not intentionally malicious.Extremely disappointed with this dealership. Inquired about a used car, the salesperson instead found me a great new car, same specs, for less money. I was told it was a service loaner but was in great condition - no flaws inside or out, cleaned up beautifully, etc. Went ahead and purchased, spent $650+ to ship to OKC, and when it arrived all but TWO inside surfaces are damaged! Several inch-long deep scratches, gouges in all the plastic... I have text receipts of the stated condition and unfortunately all the pictures sent to me concealed the damage. Be sure to ask questions and request detailed pictures before purchasing!

Purchased a used van on May 31st with expectation to receive the title within 30 days. On June 13th, the AC quit working while on a family vacation. We found out that it was almost completely out of refrigerant. Repair cost was nearly $800. Dealership told me this is not something that they routinely check other than making sure the air feels cold.Contacted the dealership multiple times over the span of a couple weeks in efforts to find out about when the title would be in and if there could be any help with the cost of fixing the AC and was told the title was on its way and that the car was purchased as is, so there would be no help with the cost of fixing the AC.Finally spoke with the general manager on June 28th in regards to the title and was told the title had still not arrived and that I would need to bring the van back to them until the title did arrive and that they were willing to cover the cost of fixing the AC and provide us with a loaner vehicle until our title did arrive.The first vehicle they gave us would not hold our entire family so after a few days, they offered to lend us a van. After a few days of having that van, they told us they needed to trade that van out and get us a different one as they had someone wanting to purchase the one they had lent us.Finally on July 16th, I reviewed a call that my title was in and I could come pick up the vehicle I had purchased.All in all, we love the van even though we know it has some problems we will need to fix in the coming months. Mostly small mechanical things we knew about when we purchased the vehicle. After, the Joe got involved (the General Manager), the salesman was apologetic and really attempted to be kind in our dealings. This is the first time Ive ever purchased a vehicle from a dealer and after this experience, I dont know that I will do that again.Im sure they are probably great at selling new cars, but at the rate used cars seem to come and go and our experience, its clear that communication and expertise in knowing the facets of the business arent that important.I understand that the market is tough right now and from what Ive been told the Missouri Department of Revenue is extremely backed up, so titles are being delayed. For me, it would just seem wise to make sure I had a title in hand or some sort of system in place to ensure the title wasnt going to be rejected for any reason before selling a vehicle. It would also seem wise to ensure communication was clear to all parties involved within the dealership.I had multiple conversations with the service manager about what was needing to be looked at, even after I was told it was going to be looked at. He shared he was not fully told of the situation and wasnt fully sure what he needed to check. Upon delivering one of the vans as a temporary loaner, found that the driver thought we had purchased the van and wasnt aware it was just being loaned to us.Again, it could just be my experience, but it has soured my perspective of what I thought would be a reputable dealership based on the name and longevity of being in business.

You: 22 Tucson, touch screen, sunroof, alloy wheels, air conditioning.I glance over, unable to turn away from the glistening sparkle of the Quartz body color. I climb in, unable to resist. As I sit down and settle in, I notice the way the seat hugs my curves and makes me feel alive. Theres something exciting about the unknown. I feel nervous as weve just met. I fumble around like its my 1st time. Not wanting to let my nerves get the best of me, I turn him on. He willingly comes to life.The engine may only be a 4 cylinder but he rides like 6, easy, smooth, powerful. It takes me no time to get used to how he handles, And soon enough, Ive taken control. I tighten my grip and push hard to get the most out of the ride. It doesnt dissapoint. I end feeling excited but satified.Needless to say I hand over my money. I knew in that moment he was mine.
Our search for the Palisade began a year ago at a different dealership close to where we live. The team at Machens, 95 miles away, ultimately earned our business because they treated us right. Will (finance) and Jeff (sales manager) were also great to work with. We appreciated the detailed explanation of the warranty as this helped us make a decision that best suited our needs. The all season liners we ordered were on back order but they have agreed to ship them directly to our home so we don’t have to make another drive. It’s a shame we plan to keep the Palisade for years to come because we wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them. Well worth the trip to have a great experience from start to finish! We couldn’t be happier.
