They are the most honest place around. Have been here for oil changes, TPMS programming, and many other types of service. They will be very upfront with you and their goal is for you to get good service and come back next time. This place is a gem.

I have a 1992 Jeep Wrangler and have been taking it to DAS Auto for things I cannot do myself and have always had a great experience. They are honest and do great work. Will continue to use them as long as I own a car.

I am fairly new to the area so finding a new dependable mechanic is difficult. DAS did an excellent job diagnosing my vehicles problems and making the necessary repairs to get me back on the road. They were accommodating as I came in without an appointment but they squeezed me in their busy schedule and completed my work timely.

These guys are the best, I have been using them for over 18 years, I think the ownership changed at some point but their services and prices didnt change. From state inspection to major services, they do it all, both on domestic and foreign cars.

Weve trusted DAS with our oil changes and regular maintenance for a few years now. They seem honest and trustworthy. When the check engine light came on they didnt push to try and fix every possible reason but the most likely ones first so we werent overspending. They dont try to push anything extra. There have even been a few times that they told me something I was asking for probably wasnt necessary yet. I try to call before going in and usually dont have to wait too long, although Im more interested in everything being done right than done quickly.

Always great Diagnostics they wont stop until they figure it out, if they cant do it they will let you know! I take all my cars here no matter what!

This place came highly recommended by a good friend, and I can verify they are legit - Just got an oil change on my Jeep Grand Cherokee.... They not only filled my tires to the proper level, but checked all the engine fluids and noticed my power steering was bone dry. This is something every place should probably do during an oil change, but most places will just skip the extra steps to get on to the next car as fast as possible. Das Auto does a thorough job, they are very knowledgeable, and you can tell they have excellent attention to detail. Ill be coming back to this place for all future repairs / maintenance

Super small waiting room. If youre dropping your car off for services, youd probably want to have a place to sit. Pretty good other than that though. Really convenient for vehicle safety inspections. All of your automotive needs are in the same complex. Really good time saver if you have other services to do. For example, I had to get my tint removed to pass, but the tint shop was right there. Got my tint removed, and was on my way.

If you want honest work by some of the best mechanics, look no further. I started going to this place with my Toyota 4-Runner in 2007. These guys kept that truck on the road for 400k miles. I live farther away now and still return here, for the big stuff. I totally trust these guys.

Specializing in Honda vehicles, but still knowledgeable on everything else, this shop is clean, professional, and most importantly honest. Every time Ive taken in my vehicle for servicing, Ive been happy with the result. To be charged fairly, and get the work of trained professionals: not much more one could ask for. It can get busy, so mornings are best for walk-ins.

If youre anything like me you have a huge distrust for most auto mechanics but after going to Das Auto a few times, my fears have been relieved. Every time Ive gone there from quick oil changes to transmission issues, Sam has been honest and open about what needs to happen, and very capable in resolving my issues. Highly highly recommend.

Write it down and skip the big names for your auto needs. Most of them are much higher quality for half the price. Look out for the coupons in yellow pages phone books (yes, the only good use of those books recently).

I guess theyre okay if you dont ask questions and allow yourself to be taken advantage of. You never know when it comes to mechanics. If I could give negative stars I would. This is a terrible place. My mother came here to get her car fixed. After they fixed it, she drove off and felt like her car was even worse than before. So she called them back and they refused to double check or work on it again. So she took it to AAA instead and they fixed it no problem. Then my mom when back to Das to let them know that she had to take it somewhere else and pay double to get it fixed. Not only did they refuse to pay her back for not doing anything but they blatantly disrespected her and verbally abused her in front of customers! No one deserves that! My mom being the lovely calm and respectful woman that she is left their shop and went ahead to proceed in taking them to court... All in all, they lost and had to pay her back plus court fees. That could have all been avoided if they would have been a respectful and upstanding business. They are the opposite!

The dealership told me I needed new brakes within the month. Dealerships are notorious for over pricing, so I took my car to Das Auto for a second opinion. I even told them what the dealership said and was pretty much giving them the green light to just get it done. They had my car in hand and could have just done the work and collected my money, but instead they actually called me and said my brakes look fine and I could get another 6 months out of them. I was struck by their honesty. Now they get my business for as long as Im in the area not just one brake job.

I just moved to Maryland and before coming to the state I had 2 tires installed, a front end inspection and alignment performed to make sure the vehicle was ready for the trip. Upon arriving in Maryland I discovered I had to have a mandatory safety inspection on the vehicle to get the vehicle registered.My wife took the vehicle to the shop to get the safety inspection done and suddenly the vehicle needs a steering gear or rack and pinion and the vehicle left the shop with a 45 degree tilt in the steering wheel despite being straight when it entered the shop. When I told the person running the shop I have 20+ years as a service advisor and called him out on these new issues. He added fuel to the fire by telling me he doesnt want or need my business and that my experience in the industry means nothing.You have been warned do not go here.

Ever since my 99 Volvo V70s warranty ran out, Ive been playing musical mechanics, with mixed results. On a recent Saturday my dashboard lit up with all sorts of warning lights. I had lost faith with my usual mechanic and called Annapolis Volvo for advice. The service manager sent me to Das Auto. It was the nicest thing he could have done for me. These guys are terrific. The $1000 alternator replacement that another local shop quoted was less than $500 here! My car was ready that afternoon and returned - this is important to me - with no smell of grease and cigarettes.Honest, fair, and they provide excellent customer service. I have found my familys new mechanic!

Found my new mechanic. Called 3 different shops asking for a quote on a wheel bearing replacement, every one said itd be $600+ and they couldnt fit me in. Called here and they said bring it down. I walk in, tell Sam whats wrong, and in 5 hours Im on the road again. No trying to upsell me anything I know I didnt need, called with regular updates, and ended up being 300 dollars cheaper than anyone else I talked to. Couldnt recommend this place enough.

My fiancee (Ruth) and I are moving up to Maryland from out-of-state and needed an inspection. They squeezed us in on short notice on a Saturday in a timely manner (for MD inspections). Sam was nice enough to explain the process for inspections as they different from NC. My fiancee got her car back and a list of repairs to be done. I fixed the problems but I had an concern with a part of the work done and Sam took it back. He made sure that my concern was addressed with a smile. I honestly do not have many good experiences with honest mechanics and I feel like my fiancee can go here to have work done while I am unable to work on her Sentra.

Given how important a running car is to be able to do most anything, establishing a good relationship with a trustworthy mechanic is perhaps one of the most important relationships in ones life. DAS Auto Repair is hands-down THE BEST auto shop I have ever come across. I trust them fully to know what theyre talking about and to stand by the work they do. Im getting close to 200,000 miles on my car, and its running just fine thanks to the fine folks there. I had my car towed from the dealer in Hunt Valley back to Columbia just to have them work on it instead. And it was still a fraction of what the dealer wouldve charged me. Their prices are humble and fair, they dont nickel and dime you for the small stuff, and they treat you right. If I could unlock a 6th star to give them on this review I would.

I started using DAS again after my employer moved temporarily in the area. I had used DAS years ago under the old owners...who were okay. But these new owners are fast and obviously honest as the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them for most thins that folks get cars serviced for. As I have never had major mechanical work by them I cannot say. They are friendly and customer-oriented for sure.

Gave car for inspection to Das and he provided wrong part number in the quote for fixing the car. Got car fixed from somewhere based on that quote and still did not passed inspection from Das since the part supposed to be fixed was not in the quote. Infact Das gave the quote for a expensive part with the assumption that I will fix from him.

If you want a good job done without getting nickle and dimed, take your cars here. I took both our cars and they did a great job. They even came and did a tempory fix on a broken window to help me out until they could get the parts to fix it.
