Ive been going to M Y Automotive for a few years now. Yuri always makes sure were taken care of. He takes time to walk you through any issues your vehicle is having and explains every option, not just what he recommends or what would make the most money for himself. I always leave more knowledgeable and can trust that my car is in good hands.

I have taken my vehicle in a few times over the last year or two and have been very impressed with the service I received. I know very little about what is under the hood and so have always been a bit wary about shops; however, I have grown to trust the people that work here. The repairs are done quickly, I am kept up-to-date on what is going on, and the prices are reasonable. In addition, after the work is completed, they send a follow-up text message a few days later to just make sure that everything is running well.After the last repair, which included new shocks and some brake work, some strange noises surfaced after taking the vehicle home (one reason I am thankful for those follow-up text messages). I let them know and they told me to bring the vehicle in. By the end of the day—a Tuesday after a long weekend—they had fixed the problem by tightening things up (likely not due to the previous repair, just normal wear and tear) and did not charge me for it! This is the kind of customer service that I have only ever dreamed of and encourage anyone looking for a new shop to try this one out.

These guys saved my butt yesterday when I had the cover under my bumper fall off and drag on the road while driving across the state. They got me in and took it off for me, and since they obviously didn’t have that spare part just lying around for a Ford C-Max they didn’t even charge me for their time or labor. Got me back on the road fast. I may end up driving back to CoMo for my next car repair need, since they were so helpful!

Yuri fixed my car quickly and for half the price of other quotes. Went the extra mile to fill my car’s tires up with air before I left. I first started using MY Auto a couple of years ago when I was driving an Impala held together by duct tape and prayer. They helped me keep that goofy car on the road long past its expiration date. When I got my Trax, I tried using a shop closer to home. Big mistake. The new shop messed up an oil change of all things, causing all kinds of cascading problems. So, now Im back at MY Auto to stay. Its worth the drive to know my car is being taken care of by a shop thats fair, honest, and reasonable. They always fix my car right the first time and never try to sell me something I dont need, which is a big deal as a single mom on a budget.

MY Automotive is a professional shop from top to bottom. Yuri and his staff are knowledgeable, skilled, and stand squarely behind their work. The prices are more than fair, especially when it comes to servicing Porsches. Ill never take my 2009 Boxster to another shop in Columbia.

My son brought a Toyota with a bad window switch and was charged about 500. That part ranges from 40 up to, only a few I could even find up to 200, with several options, and it takes less than an hour. Im not a mechanic, but I dont understand how that was a good deal.

I was extremely pleased with the service I received from M Y Automotive. I am not from Columbia, however, an unforeseen flat tire caused me to seek automotive help. The employees at M Y Automotive were extremely kind and they helped accommodate my needs on very short notice. The employees were able to repair my tire in a timely fashion and the service they offered was extremely affordable (a huge factor for myself, who must be financially savvy with my money). Yuri has always been super helpful for me and my family. He has provided excellent service in repairing multiple of our cars. Lately I have been going to Yuri about issues with my current car and he is super informative to me and really talks through what needs fixing and what can be done. Sure that may seem generic, but with Yuri he really makes you feel like its sincere and personable, which it definitely is. He provides what should be done now and says what can be prolonged to better suit my needs financially and has been such a huge help. He is an excellent mechanic and I cannot recommend him enough.

Nice experience, but missed the diagnosis. Was told it was a lower bearings on the crank or rods. Turns out, blown head gasket, hydro locking the cyl. I fixed it for 18.00 dollars. I do think the owner is a good dude, just a mistake.

This place is very very BAD.They charged me $56 for a $19 part 2 gallon of antifreeze wich they didnt put in,plus getting rid of old antifreeze. DO NOT DO NOT take your vehicle there😡😡😡plus the same part broke two days after repairs.

I started going here after my old car place closed and chose it based on the high reviews I saw here. My car is pretty old (2001) so I try to have it looked at ever 3-5 months to make sure everything is running smoothly. Thus far, I am very pleased with their service and will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

Very professional and knowledgeable! MY Automotive did better than dealer quality work for reasonable prices on my 20 year old BMW convertible. They also had good recommendations for maintenance and tried to save me money where they could. Ex., not charging me for a tire rotation because I was paying for a brake fluid flush and they already had the wheels off for that. Any other shop would have charged as much as they could. The pros at MY Automotive are honest, dependable, trustworthy, good people. Highly recommend!

My wife and I bought an old Subaru that ended up needing a lot work to get up and running again. We took it to a different shop (that will not be named) to get it inspected and they told us it wouldn’t pass unless we got a number of small things fixed on it, for which they wanted to charge us over 3k. I took it to M Y Automotive per a recommendation of a friend of mine. Yuri gave me a MUCH better quote then the other shop and did a lot of the little stuff at no or next to no cost. I got my transmission swapped and motor mounts done and it felt like a new car.I’m a do-it-yourself type of guy, but I don’t have the tools to do a lot of the heavy lifting this poor car needed. If I encounter an issue I can’t or don’t have the time to deal with myself, I’m going to these guys first. I would recommend them above anyone else in town.It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but after my experience with M Y Automotive, I would have no issue recommending them. They are honest, efficient, have good rates and will work hard to help diagnose and resolve your car problems.

Was able to get a much more fair price for the work my car needed done (new AC compressor and condenser, blown serpentine belt) here at MY than at a different shop in town (AS Auto). Quoted ~1000$ lower than the other shop. Was also several hundred less than other shops. Yuri was very easy to work with and completed the job in less than a day. Been driving for a week now, very satisfied assuming the work holds up.

MY Automotive is my go-to shop, I have all of my vehicles serviced here. The mechanics are very knowledgeable, and are able to quickly identify problems and repair them. They are also honest and will identify things that should be watched but not required to fix immediately, so they arent trying to get extra work on one job, they want to be your mechanic forever, which is very refreshing. Highly recommend, I send everyone I know to them.

Very friendly over the phone as I prepared to have my car towed in. Super fast service, fixing exactly what the problem was. My car was delivered for an alternator replacement at about 3pm the day prior, and the next morning at around 9am I received a call telling me it was done and ready for pick up. Yuri (the owner) was very friendly as we concluded my transaction and I got on my way. The additional benefits I was not expecting were a 2yr/24,000 mile warranty on the parts, and a coupon for 12 months of roadside assistance. I used this service due the glowing, positive reviews here on google and I was not disappointed. I will definitely be a return customer for future service needs.

As a woman who doesnt know much about cars, this was the first time Ive not felt screwed around in an auto repair shop, and I personally thanked Yuri for that. I went in for an inspection and to fix my horn, which hadnt been working since the second week I bought my car from the Nissan dealership. Nissan told me theyd fix it for a minimum of $100, so I never went back. Yuri fixed it for $35! I felt like he was very honest and straightforward with me and did not try to screw me out of money. I was in and out, with a complete inspection and horn repair in less than 45 minutes, and I really enjoyed being treated like a customer and not just a woman. Yuri definitely has my business forever, and I highly recommend him to anyone searching for a repair shop.

Used a Groupon I purchased today with them and was very impressed! Very polite guys and when I asked questions about some of the repairs they suggested, I got a very thorough and competent explanation. While they did suggest some repairs, they were not pushy at all. As a female, sometimes I feel a bit intimidated by mechanics and feel as though they may try to stick me with a larger than necessary bill, but these guys were nothing like that! Will definitely be using them in the future!

Incredibly down-to-earth, helpful people. I went in for an inspection today, and my brake light wasnt working (I had just changed the bulb, so I felt pretty silly). The man helping me was awesome, though, and after he let me know there was a problem, he took off the light and messed with it for a good ten minutes until he got it working (it was the only problematic part of the inspection). Plus, he gave me car advice for a few possible future repairs to keep in mind. Im so thankful I went somewhere where they really try to do whats best for me and didnt take advantage of my little car-knowledge. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an honest place that has the customers best interest in mind.

After replacing a passenger side door handle there, the power door lock stopped working without plugging in the key, and also the driver side actuator was down. Before sending the car there for repair, the power door lock worked well either with the key plugged in or not, and only the passenger front door actuator was dysfunctional (the driver side one was working well then). The technician claimed that he didnt believe that the power door lock ever worked without the key or that the driver side actuator ever worked when he first saw the car, and also had difficulty on scheduling a further checkup in the following days due to the tightness of time schedule during or before the upcoming Thanksgiving week. This happened so close before the Thanksgiving week that I had to go to Joe Machens Toyota right away for a quick fix to prevent this problem from messing up my holiday plans. Based on the feedback from Joe Machens, there was a ground wire connection problem (which may or may not be correlated with the age of the car or the installation/removing operations performed on related parts) that might cause the breakage of the actuator as well as the breakage of the power lock functionality as a whole (when without the key plugged in). It costed me additional $800 for checking up and fixing those problems in Joe Machens. I know that I should not believe in one sided story from any party, and that local car shops are usually preferable over dealers like Joe Machens for regular fix and maintenance as dealers usually charge a lot for small things, but now the latter statement sounds a bit questionable to me.

I have been taking two cars, a 2002 Kia and a 2004 Corolla to M Y for the last five years for everything from minor maintenance to a new clutch, and I have walked away every time fully satisfied that the diagnosis was made with integrity, the work was done well, and the price was fair. They have fully earned my trust along with my business for as long as Im in Columbia. If youre not 100% satisfied with your mechanic, give these nice people a try.

We have been taking all of our vehicles to Yuri and Mike - from a 1974 VW bus to our 2014 Elantra - and have never had a better experience getting work done in a fair and honest manner. In fact, they spend as much time informing us what we don’t need to have done, or what can wait, as they do on stuff that needs fixed. Great experience lately when Mike spent a couple of days trying to diagnose a tricky electrical issue, basically for free. Will never take our vehicles to anyone other than these guys.

I felt ripped off. The fan of my AC was not working, so I came to them to fix it. The guy did not listen to me and instead charged me $67 to refill my FREON. The result was that I still have my AC not working. It still blow air only....They are not friendly and careless.

Yuri did a short-notice pre-purchase inspection on a BMW M3 I was considering. Im not local, but they handled everything and charged me an extremely reasonable rate. The inspection was very thorough, and the results answered my questions about the car. Would highly recommend them if youre getting a PPI on a used car, and they definitely seemed to know their way around the vehicles. If I was ever in Columbia and needed some work done, I wouldnt hesitate to go to them.
