One of my favorite places to shop. They are very organized and the workers are always pleasant.
Great prices but usually a poor selection of mens clothing. Though the womens clothing slection seems decent enough. Gets very busy on the weekends compared to other savers locations. I would reccomend the holbrook store over this one but if you do go then do it on a weekday. I still prefer them over island thrift and other thrift stores nearby.

Used to really enjoy coming here just to browse. 9 times out of 10 we usually end up not buying anything but enjoyed walking around and looking at items. Im 68 so every once in a while we find items that actual fit me for a fraction of the original price. Today we came and at 7:40 a very angry woman stated that they were closing soon. We said ok, thank you and went back to shopping and as soon as we turned around she said again, excuse me, the store is closing. I know they store closes at 8pm and understand employees want to get out on time so my wife brought her item up to wait on line while I continued to browse. This angry woman again came up to be at 7:47pm and said the store is closing. I replied, I understand, my wife is already waiting on line so Im just browsing while she waits to checkout. She continued on and said the lines are closing. I said I understand, she is on the line. She kept repeating herself to the point where I decided to just walk up to the line. So instead of standing in the next aisle I stood at the line to appease this rude employee. I gave 2 stars because I enjoyed this store in the past but to be honest the store was a mess. I would suggest the angry woman spend less time following around customers 20 minutes before the store closes and instead maybe clean the garbage off the floor, put price tags on items, and organize items into the appropriate sections. It would do more for the business.
At Savers, you will definitely save. I found a pair of Vans for 7 dollars!! They have a wide selection of used goods, including glassware, clothes, shoes, and even bathing suits, which you dont see at other thrift stores.

I used to enjoy coming here to check out their used book selection. Then they started going against their old tiered pricing plan, and changed to putting prices on the books. So a book you used to buy for $2.50 - $3.50, is now $7.99 at Savers. If you find the same book at a local Library book sale, its going to be $2 - $3. Looking at the same book, used online, $3. Savers is no longer for savers with their new structure.

My daughter and I love to go and look for unusual items. I love the books and sometimes get some great albums. I think its a little pricy, but I understand because they keep a great store and they are always helpful and nice. We never walk out empty handed. We always drop off a few bags for donations and get a discount. 🍀👗
There are times I just want to walk through and see what his me.. I found a Picture for the wall, a hard covered book, a scarf and a Beautiful Baby Blanket. I really enjoy coming in and everything was in excellent order yesterday. Thank you. Lisa 🌻🎃🏵
We shop here all the time, normally spending hundreds of dollars on clothes for the entire extended family. we loved this place and now i dont know that we will ever go back. last week we were told by two different employees that because the fitting rooms were closed, they had extended their policy and we would have 2 weeks to RETURN any items that did not fit. relying on that assertion, we purchased over 300$ worth of clothing. a THIRD employee (our cashier) did let us know that some rollerblades we were buying would not be able to be returned as they are excluded. that makes three different employees who knew we planned to likely return a big portion of our clothing purchase and that we were ONLY going through with buying it because we had been assured we could return it if it didnt fit. now, a week later, we are told we can only exchange and that they will not even issue a store credit! at no point did any employee disclose this. We are not even asking for a refund we just want the money put onto a store card for credit to use there in the future! if this was one item maybe same day exchange would be reasonable but this is a considerable amount of money at issue and we should not be expected to be able to find enough items for an even exchange right this minute. had we not asked about the policy, i would agree that we bear that loss. but we did ask. and we were told numerous times that we could make returns.
They usually have something that you are in need of. Items change daily.
Always a pleasure shopping here. You find the greatest stuff. Its like a treasure hunt every visit. Brand names at great prices. But you have to hunt for them.
Nice place with awesome finds! Prices have gone up since I first started shopping here a couple of years ago but some things are still priced fairly. Other things are priced more than you would find them brand new. I have spotted a few dollar store items priced way more than they should be. The best thing this store location has to offer is their clothing and shoe selection. It never disappoints. There are a few workers who could be a bit nicer however. Parking lot is spacious. Overall a store thats worth checking out.

These are all donations and you didnt pay anything for them so please stop trying to price gouge and let people who do a lot of business at thrift shops get a good deal every once in a while... also just because something has Nintendo on the title doesnt mean its worth money

Although I love Savers, I am very disappointed that I havent been able to use a gift card that was given to me the beginning of July as the Commack Savers keeps telling me that their system is down and Ive not been able to purchase with their gift card because of this!!
This is by far the best Stop and Shop on Long Island. Its by far the cleanest, friendliest place to do food shopping. And what an amazing selection.
Great thrift store. They keep the place clean and carry a pretty broad spectrum of goods that are generally in excellent condition. Priced reasonably, considering the quality and overall experience.
Can you take stuff from the carts? Of course not the entire cart, but if theres like a pair of shoes or a CD that you find interesting, would you get punished for it?

Organized, nice clothing, odds and ends, belts, scarves, hats. CDs that actually have the disc in it. Its basically a nice Salvation Army.

The employees are nice. The prices have gone up. The inventory has changed. I went on the weekend and you can get pretty annoyed with the parents who dont look after their kids and allow them to be roudy and run around. These places arent playgrounds.
The place has a lot of customers so they must be doing something right. Go on tuesdays for big senior discount. Beats Goodwill hands down. Little crowded at checkout. Need furniture? Go to St Vincent just down the block on Jericho, quality furniture and no junk, But they are fussy with the donations, check before you bring something.
Pretty clean for a thirft shop. Good deals on mens jeans. Its the only place that I can find my fiances jean size because he is a 29 waist with 32 length. They carry name brand used clothes at a discounted price.

Very over priced big box thrift. Wanna example? Hows this: BOOKS. Price based on cover price; books that are originally $9.95 and up are $2.95 here . What utter bulls**t ! Books clog up the world and the thrift stores. How about the universal thrift price code for books? $1.00 for hardcovers. 50 cents for paperbacks. Used, handled ripped magazines like those small ones at the supermarket checkout ( i.e. Quick Casseroles) are .99 cents . They should almost be in a FREE box at the front door. T-shirts with no name, no Star Wars, nothing -- $5.99.The worst crime here is, no Blue Sticker 50% Day. Here its 30% childrens clothes, and 30% off for senior citizens . Utter bulls**t that makes UNIQUES prices seem fair.

Fairly organized. There is a consistancy to what you will find here while still fun to shop for that odd item.
I used to love the place but seems maybe all of the good stuff is picked through by employees and when you see Wal-Mart products priced like kholes or other higher end clothing I gave up. I will shop the clearance sections in other stores and get brand new items.
I feel that some things should be cheaper, but other things are well priced.
I found some pants excellent staff and some were quite cute coming back next Tuesday

I normally like Savers. I usually find their staff helpful and friendly. This Savers was a totally different experience. Two registers were open and one was busy. The other girl was busy sorting hangers immediately behind the register, and even after I caught her eye and waved at her to let her know that I was online and would like to check out she went back to ignoring me and sorting hangers.I was so mad I almost asked her name, just so that I could mention it here in this review. All I can say is that shes very fat and has short hair. Savers management - if youre reading this, you can do better.

I had a good experience there. The only thing I have to complain about is that the employees would leave the clothes racks that they wheel around blocking an alisle and see you trying to move it to get your cart/kids through and they dont help or say anything, just watch.

Plus i get to donate most of my things when they are not being used anymore and make it some one elses treasure. Im so glad they opened up in my neighborhood.
