New to the hobby and bought my first table saw here two days ago. I paid for the order the night before and when I came to pick it up the next day, I was told my order was missing a part. Im new to woodworking and I couldnt quite follow what the sales person was saying. I asked if he could walk with me to the floor model so I could visualize what was missing, but he couldnt be bothered to leave the counter. I guess he already got his commission. The other three people I spoke with were courteous, patient, and helpful, though.

The selection and knowledgeable staff have been instrumental in my woodworking progression and tooling-up. The sales target bragging to peers as I’m checking out for a new >$700 router table setup is a turnoff however. Additionally some of the staff are aggressive about the “item of the week” and don’t take no for an answer. I spend a lot of $ with you regardless. Don’t lose me to Amazon over high pressure sales tactics.

The staff was really helpful, patient, but most importantly, enthusiastic.Im just dipping my toes into this stuff and they answered questions I didnt even know I had with gusto.It feels like the staff loves what they do, are passionate about woodworking, and love sharing.

Exactly what I expected: old guys playing with toys who love to talk about your latest project. Rockler is hobby-level tools with good fit-and-finish. The retail store has a good selection of hinges, pulls, pen blanks, drawer slides, and other Rockler specialties; its not a general hardware storeThe woods prices are a little higher than the cheapest box or lumber-yard, but not much. The woods pieces are almost perfect (as opposed to the roulette of lot woodpiles). The Baltic birch sheets are great to work with

This was my first time in the store. Very clean and well lite. The clerks did not follow you around but were very helpful when I couldnt find something. Other than the store is 50 miles from where I live I will defiantly go back again.

I researched the item and read the assembly instructions. Also called ahead to make sure that it was in the store before making the 40-mile drive. The store staff was very helpful in locating it in the storeroom as it was an infrequently-sold item.

Great experience! Went to Rockler to pick up some milled maple and walnut. I dont have machinery to mill my own wood so it was very convenient that they carry these that are ready to be used (with minor adjustments). The staff were experienced, helpful and friendly. It makes a world of difference when visiting a store and the employees actually have personal experience and can share their knowledge and answer questions in depth. Thanks for such a positive experience!

It is almost an hour drive to get to this store. I needed Baltic Birch plywood that I could not find anywhere else. I also needed a piano hinge I saw on the Rockler website but was told “this is one of the stores that died not carry piano hinges”, WHAT? While perusing the store I found a vacuum hose on a close out table, all of which was labeled 75% off. This item was not in any box, rather just loosely coiled with cable ties holding it together. When to the register they would not honor the discount. They said “how could that have been on the discount table”, not my problem. In any other retail case I would have been offered at least a substantial discount, but was only offered 25% off. The MGR. Said they really shouldn’t even offer that, 10% would be more like it. Another item priced at $19.95 is $14.95 on their website, no offer to at least match the online price for a plastic item that must cost them less than $5.Lame situation overall. Bought my wood only, left and will never recommend this store.

Rockler has a great selection of products and friendly, helpful staff. I buy all my woodworking products at the Concord store.

I always look forward to my visits to the Concord store.On my last visit I was only looking for two items. A dovetail joint template and a few board feet of 1/2 X 6 poplar.I could find neither. I was rather surprised by this.So off I went to Amazon and ordered the template and Lowes for the wood.But Ill be back.

A woodworking store which supplies the hardware, jigs, lumber, and tools for you to complete your projects. Stop did you not build Cabinetry, or do Milling work for the public. It eats a lot of different classes on how to do different projects yourself, when you are at home. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and if they do not know something that usually know where to send you or how to find out the answer.

Great customer service. They helped me find the wood I was looking for, made a rip cut so it will fit in my car, and carried the wood to my car.

I love this place. Im like a kid in a candy store when I go there. Everything u need for your shop and working wood. I bought the table saw crosscut sled instead of making one and it works well. Prices are a bit high but not for everything. I bought a bottle of Titebond III that was cheaper than Amazon.Customer service is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable. Worth the drive

They had just what I needed. I bought wood button screw covers and then I also purchased a classy looking bronze drawer pull. I was trying to find stem bumpers for my glass patio table but you don’t carry the size I need. The gentleman at the counter helped me find out what these were called and guided me to a place online that would sell the size and color that I need to replace Thank you!

This is a great store for all woodworkers. It wonderful to be able to see and touch so many products. The staff there are very knowledgeable about the items they sell.

Went in for a demo and found the presenter to be most helpful and informative . Because of his presentation, I purchased the item.Before checking out, I needed some additional items and once again, the staff was most helpful in finding the items for me.

Everytime I have shopped at Rockler Concord I have a great time the sales associates are very helpful and if you ask them for advice they are willing to give you to the best of their knowledge. They do a good job with keeping their shelves stocked the only reason for only 4-stars is because they dont have adhesive backed sandpaper come on guys.

I love this place so much I drive 55 minutes from the South Bay to attend a demo and buy new toys. The staff are very helpful and friendly too.

Its wood worker heaven. What more can be said. Friendly staff, amazing assortment of shop stuff. Is it expensive? I dont know. What I do know is that: if its something I want-theyre more than likely to have it. Not some workaround or compromise, but the actual thing. Its worth it to me for that alone.

I like Rockler a lot but Im not a fan of this location. Ive been to this one twice and I havent left with the greatest experience.Today for example, I was ignored while at the register trying to pay for my items.Ill keep shopping with Rockler but I will not be returning to this location.

Behlen spray cans selection really never full - Been in there over the months and they have the inventory tags but they just spread out the other inventory to fill in the missing product. Guess I will order on line from StewMac from now on.

After driving 2 hours specifically to visit this store, we found a very friendly and helpful staff, however, the shelves for the items I was shopping for were bare. 😔
