I need my propane tank removed . I have called several times and was told someone would call me back .No one Is returning calls, no one is answering emails.I have a new system being installed and I need the tank gone !!Exactly why I left them, poor customer service !!

This place is one of the worse fuel companies you can deal with, they auto fill you when the prices are at the highest, and when to call you stuck on hold for 30 minutes before anyone answers the call then your but on hold again, I switch to Aaron & Goss and am super happy, switch before it’s winter.

Got a drop of Propane this past Friday. Price jumped 23% from 5 weeks ago. I called to express my disappointment and was offered the explanation that due to the ice in Texas the price went up. Coupled with increased trucking costs. Just seems like another big company price gouging and taking advantage of the consumer. Going up 0.77 cents in 5 weeks is awful. Never had a $1000 propane bill before. I do now. Good think I don’t live in Iowa where it has been brutally cold and would have used a ton more fuel.

Bait and Switch....that’s what I call it....had an email 2/1/21 stating price as 2.64 for oil.....came and delivered @ 2.84 a gallon.....wrote NUMEROUS emails asking for the refund of the difference, and RYMES refused. Wrote to the State of NH to try to see whom I could inquire with as to a formal complaint, seems the oil industry is unregulated in NH from my understanding of the reply.So guess what....this long time customer, 5 plus years, will be getting oil deliveries from a company who does the right thing, and that company is NOT RYMES. RYMES had numerous opportunities to right this situation and they chose not to. PLEASE consider other companies BEFORE choosing RYMES.

I ordered my oil online, for the first time. It was pretty cool since I do the majority of my bills and work after midnight. It was nice to just be able to order it at my convenience. The site gave me the price, and said they would deliver on December 21st or sooner. Today is 12/19 and the driver just left. Nice guy, very pleasant. He was taken back a bit and very appreciative of the Christmas tip I gave him. He deserved it if for nothing else, having a nice disposition.Thank you for the great service!

I just got a oil delivery from Rymes! There truck driver,(Bill Tumor) is the greatest! We have extensive shrubs and flowers in front of house where the oil filler cap is. We work hard on keeping our landscaping appearance looking alive and beautiful! When Bill delivers oil he never drops any oil on our shrubs or flowers. During Winter snow covered plants it would be easy to drop oil on plants which Bill never has been careless to do! Sometimes I go out to greet Bill and he always has a ready smile and greeting. He gives me the feeling of a friend and not a delivery driver in a hurry to get his route done.Thank you Rymes Oil Co. for having Drivers that Care about Customer Service!!

I’d like to commend the delivery driver, Annette, for her thoughtfulness.We had recently had our driveway paved. I had my SUV down at the bottom showing that we did have vehicles using it.The driver, Annette, parked at the top of the driveway and brought the hose down a substantial distance to the fill area. She said she’d feel better by not driving the truck down the driveway.It’s not often I see people actually “think’ and be considerate of others.Annette was very considerate and personable.She deserves acknowledgement of a ‘job well done’ and making the customer very happy.This is how you keep customers and get new customers by reference.

I am very impressed with Rymes and the technician, Jimmy. The office was extremely reactive to my call, and then the technician who showed up within just a few hours was highly experienced and wonderfully knowledgeable about my system. He spent the time for a thorough analysis and then repaired it on the spot including replacing a few parts. He made sure to explain to me exactly what had happened, the actions he took, and how to avoid further problems in the future. I cannot imagine a company being more professional and organized. Thank you Rymes. Five stars for sure!!!!

Our former fuel supplier had us run out of oil twice last winter and once this winter; while on automatic delivery. We finally had enough and called Rymes Propane & Oil. We experienced outstanding customer service from a girl named McKenna. Come to find out Rymes had a truck down the road and we had a delivery within 30-minutes. The driver was courteous and very polite and got us back up and running in a matter of 15-minutes. We are very pleased to say we have a new supplier. Great job Rymes!

11/13Still have no heat, and it was 45 degrees inside when I woke up. If I had a choice Id go with someone else.11/6/19My heater is DEAD, as in DOES NOT FUNCTION AT ALL. Bought a new one, and I was told I would have to wait until the middle of December from the supplier. Called up Rymes, as Ive done in the past, to see if they could pick up the stove from the supplier, bring it here, and install it in a, preferably, timely manner. Theyve done this for me in the past in another building. Not only was the person I spoke with told by the manager that it is NOT a service they offer (was not told if it was a new policy, just no.) but that The stove people would have to take care of it for me.Again, I have NO HEAT possibly until the MIDDLE OF DECEMBER. NOT impressed. Dont expect any help from these people if you have a legitimate heating emergency. Youre better off buying a space heater and huddling around it with the family for communal body heat and toughing out the winter than getting anything from them.We are experiencing BELOW FREEZING temperatures, and its only going to get colder as December comes around. I have nothing. I have to pray my pipes dont freeze.Id give 0/5 if I could. I dont blame the person I spoke with, they were just relaying what they were told. I blame the manager for doing a poor job.

Weve always had good service with Rymes. They are here with deliveries when they say therell be here, our delivery man John Hy, does a great job too. They have been super on any service call for us also. Only problem I have is wish they could mail or email invoices after a delivery cause they get lost when left outside.

Jim W. serviced my propane furnace problem by purging the pipes and performed an excellent job. He had to work on it 3 times to purge all the air out and now my system is quiet and the banging drum noise vanished finally. Extremely pleased with his work on behalf of Rymes Propane and Oil.

Called Rymes today to tell them I was switching service and wanted to know if they would buy back the propane in the tank when they came to remove it. I was told no and that they will charge me $95 to remove THEIR tank. Never missed a payment and they want to charge me for removal. The tank wont even be hooked up when they come. All they have to do is put it in the truck. grrrr

I wanted to take the time and say thank you to Rymes and your staff.I called Tuesday afternoon asking for a oil fuel delivery ASAP since we had less than a quarter of a tank. We have a newborn premie at home, two dogs and a cat and have gone though our oil quicker than normal due to being home on maternity leave. The women who answered the very understanding and talked to a manger to get approval to get our delivery out sooner than the three weeks they had been advising people. I was grateful for this!To my husband and my surprise we had a deliver the NEXT day!!! Not the two weeks they promised. I know with the unseasonably cold temps Rymes and other oil companies have been out straight making sure their customers are taken care of. So my family and I wanted to send sincerest of thank yous for making sure we were warm and safe this winter season. I’ve been a Rymes customer for about two years and they are the best propane company I’ve ever used by far. They always refill us with plenty of time to spare without me calling. Knowing my tank was more than half full, I called once before big storm because we have a generator that shares a fuel tank with our heating system, and I wanted to make sure we had plenty of fuel. Rhymes had come that morning to top us off without me calling or noticing. The drivers are also always professional and courteous. I highly recommend this company.

Every interaction with Rymes employees has been courteous and professional. One oil delivery driver took the time to tell me about other services, such as propane delivery and setting up a delivery schedule. When I asked him if he received commissions for tip leads that resulted in a sale, he said no. Thats a shame, and Rymes is missing out on easy opportunities to increase sales. Your field personnel are the customer facing front line of your business! They should be incented to engage customers about additional services and products, and leave promotional materials after the delivery. Its a no brainer. Bob.

Nice Work! Our plumber identified a frozen regulator outside as the problem for our heat shutting down at night. He said you probably cant get the propane co out here after 3 today, but when they come, dont let them tell you that moisture in the propane is not an issue... But we called Rymes to schedule service, and they actually showed up in less than 1 hour and replaced the regulator and then gave us the same explanation the plumber did... they offered to come back an inject the line if the freezing happens again! Great work Rymes! [I had a very different experience that what I have read in these postings, but I realize it may be a different location? In any case, we have been using Rymes at 3 different homes over the past 12 years].

You delivered oil to my house, even though I called you during the delivery, because my security cameras were tripped, and told you to stop because I am not a customer. Your driver had to drive past the address marker and walk past the address plate on the front of my house that clearly stated we are on the odd side of the street, when you were supposed to deliver to my neighbor across the street. You overfilled my brand new oil tank - thank god it didnt spill into my basement. You left a bill saying to call you, AFTER I called saying to stop. I called again this morning and was rudely told that I can either pay a discounted rate within 30 days, or you can come and remove the oil you put in, after being put on hold for 10+ minutes, after already trying to stop you from giving me oil I did not order or want. What a horrendous experience.

After years of service with Rymes I recently encountered a billing dispute, the genesis of which was an incorrect email address in Rymes system. This was discovered in a conversation that I had with Devon of Rymes Concord office today who promptly researched the transactional billing history and then proceeded to fully resolve the matter. Devon made me feel as though Rymes truly valued me as a customer. His customer service approach surpassed my expectations and proved to be truly refreshing when I was faced with what could have been a stressful matter. Thank you Devon!

I was supposed to get a propane delivery last Friday. There was another delivery truck in my driveway when they came by. They didn’t stop to ask to move the truck so they could deliver. They kept on going. I had to call four times this week to get an answer when they would come back. Finally got an answer for this Friday first in the morning. It’s now 4:45pm and no delivery. I’ve an automatic delivery customer for 13 years. I’ve been reducing my propane consumption all week. I would expect better service!

Absolute Joke! Discriminatory and disrespectful toward military veterans and their families. I paid for gas hook up back in October and 5 months later it is still not complete. Had to hire an attorney to get them to respond. They charged me for work that was never completed. Over 15 inquiries to the service manager have gone unanswered. Have the phone records to prove it. As a 20 year retired veteran of the United States military, Rhymes Propane has flat out refused to complete gas line installation inside my home. Managers, supervisors, and customer service representatives all lie in response to inquiries. Do your homework. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!!

Horrible Customer Service. New to the Bow area and signed up for a delivery contract for the 2018-19 season. Needed a tank inspection before Oil delivery as I had noticed a small drip from the bottom of the tank. Delivery man who did the inspection was extremely nice and helpful, thats where the good parts ends. Multiple calls to the service department about getting a simple walkout basement tank replacement, always promised a call back, never got one. After 4 weeks of hounding them for their business, finally was promised a Site Inspection for a quote, 3weeks from now!!! After which they would have to schedule the actual replacement!!! So here I am, lost 4 weeks, Oil level on 1/4 tank, calling around for someone else to replace the tank so I can have heat and hot water this winter!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR. One and done for them as far as any oil purchasing or service!!!

I called Chasity on a Friday to ask her how low my propane should be before a delivery. I was down to about 30%. She said I had a big tank with plenty of propane to get me to the scheduled delivery next week. I guess she sensed that I was a little nervous because of the potential storm and if our propane eating generator kicked in, I may not have enough. Anyway, on Saturday, Brian, moose antlers and all, pulled into my driveway and filled the propane tank. I felt much better and appreciated the sensitivity of Chasity and the pleasant demeanor and effort of Brian, the delivery person. Thanks to Rymes for great service as always!

Ran out of fuel and the temperature is below 0... spoke with a representative who was plesant and fixed my issue almost immediately. Set me up for a delivery and got it the night before it was even promised! Nothing but great things to say about this company and its employees. I have been with Rymes for 10 years for the simple fact that they are usually the cheapest. Over the course of time, I have realized how important customer service is as well. Recently had issues with my oil/propane company so went back to Rymes who had been my company for years. Dont know why I ever switched. My previous propane company came after being notified that I was DONE with them came and took away their tank without notifying me in any way. Rymes customer service Tabitha had tech Tom here the next day by 10: a.m. with a new full tank. I am so appreciative. Glad to be back and hope the auto fill oil is as good as the propane service!

Prompt service but communication with customers needs work. They should tell people about the fees before sending technicians to test gas. I am new to propane and was told they are obligated to check if there is the smell of gas. Forgot to mention the $189 night fee in the conversation. I only was told after I called back to discuss the issue further. Perhaps send a fee list to new home owners so they arent surprised and can make more informed decisions.

Not only did the tech have to walk thru knee deep snow to get to me he fixed the problem with my furnace and made sure this 70 year old lady felt safe before he left. As the manager of a fine dining restaurant and the owner of a new home, both on Marthas Vineyard, Ive had the pleasure of working with Rymes at two establishments. I can therefore state with confidence that their approach to commercial and residential accounts is equally thorough and personable. On any given day during the construction of our home Id have to contact numerous services, from plumbing and HVAC. If Rymes was on the list they were invariably the first to respond and the first to arrive on the job site. Their employees are knowledgable yet approachable, kind and generous with their time. When the pilot on our fire-pit table at the restaurant needed repairs during a busy summer weekend, the retailer provided little help, while a team from Rymes was there within minutes to see what they could do. They quickly resolved the issue. In a market where reliability, professionalism and fair prices can be tricky to find individually, at Rymes you can find all three in one place. I highly recommend them to any business or home owner.

I have the worst service imaginable from Rymes since they took over Fuller Oil. I am on automatic delivery for Propane and fuel oil and have run out of oil once again last night. This has happened 3 times in the last six months. They say just go and buy some diesel and put it in. Thats not the point, which I did at 10:30 last night so I can get up to a warm shower at 4:00 in the morning to go to work. I pay them $$$$$$$$ of dollars a year for oil and propane, have had discussions with their supervisors and dispatch team month after month and it seems they dont care enough to fix it. Unbelievable lousy customer service. I went with them due to the fact their office is local and wanted to support the community. I think its time to move on to a company that cares about the customer.

I am not yet a customer but I WAS going through the process. I am so unhappy with them already there is no way I will be doing business with them. I needed a tank to supply a new generator I have had installed. A guy came to the house to see where the tank would go etc. He then said they would email me a quote etc. This quote was for $600 for them to deliver an empty tank and then I would pay them for a fill? This seemed outrageous so I called and asked for a call back with an explanation of what the $600 is for? Still waiting for that call back and we are nearing the end of the fourth business day so they need not bother! I have already found a competitor who will not be charging me to deliver an empty tank - just a full one. The customer service I received from this one phone call with Stacy at Davis Fuels of Epsom is 100 times better than what I received from Rymes. Rymes can keep their gas and their empty tank!

Had a delivery the day before Thanksgiving the girl insisted I only needed 150 to make my tank full. I get home Sunday and see its only 3/4 full. I called at 830am Monday morning only to be told a supervisor will call me back later that day. Thursday rolls around, still havent heard back. So I call again wait on hold for at least 30min for the girl to tell me a supervisor will call me back later. Few hours later she calls and tells me I must have misunderstood the girl the 1st time. None the less I was charged 419.85 for a partial fill. She tells me she will send someone back out this Wednesday (today) to top it off. I notice this morning at 10am rymes ran my card for a 2nd time for the amount again of 419.85 I call them AGAIN and the girl tells me the charge was for last week. I insist to her that no its been charged twice. I am not a auto delivery so the card is not to be run unless I call and schedule a delivery. She says well you do have that partial delivery today we could just take it out of that and leave a credit on file. EXACTLY WHAT I NEVER WANT TO HAPPEN. this place is horrible and I have canceled my account with them. They did put my extra 419.85 back in my account. Still extremely unsatisfied!

They delivered oil to my neighbors apt. Left us the bill. Then wanted us to go tell the neighbors who we didnt even know to pay the bill. We told them no. Then they wanted us to go and get their name and phone number... again we said no. We werent their collection dept.Someone else I know said rymes put oil in their tank and they DONT even use them. When they called to tell them to come get it they refused. Then they tried to extort money from them. I told them to call them and tell them to get oil out of the tank or they would call the AG office.They did this TWICE to the same person. What other companies can just fill tanks and then try to force people to pay. If this happens to you tell them ONCE to come get it. If they refuse call the AG office and tell them they are trying to force you to pay for something YOU didnt order. This company is NOT trust worthy.

We bought a new house. Rymes put the tank in. We call around to see who had the best price and service. When we spoke with the Rymes rep, he advised if we chose to go with someone else, they would come out and take the tank out of the ground. They would not price match. I called back after trying to switch to Irving oil and propain. They were going to buy the tank from Rymes and they would not allow them too. I called Rymes back got a better rep, who offered to match Irvings price. My thougt was I got a good rep this time, who would I get next time. I advised I was not a fan of their customer service and asked them to sell the tank to Irving. I was told they would take care of it and it would be finalized with on 24 hours. A little more then a week later still will not sell the tank. Update, Irving did kot even call me and tell me they withdrew thefe request. I had to find out from Rymes. I was given a copy of the phone call mu wife had with Rymes and i can see where my wife got upset, but think it was a mix of words and feelings. We are goimg with Rymes and hope it all works out.

Called at 5:00am for an emergency delivery and spoke to their answering service. The answering service charged my account an extra $105.00 for emergency delivery. It is 2:53pm and still no delivery. Called back several times today and they stated they didnt know it was a delivery for today..... Biggest mistake I made changing oil companies. They will be here by 4:00 pm was what the last representative stated.

Not reliable delivery. We had automatic delivery at a residence in Stark NH with Rymes for several years. We ran out of propane last winter and all of our plumbing froze up. Rymes has refused to assist in the cost of repairs even though their records indicate they were late with delivery. Upon filing a claim, Rymes insurance company told us the reason for the late delivery was due to delinquent payment. This is a total lie as we were current with payment. This is just an excuse to avoid paying our claim. Rymes appaears to be a good company until things go bad. They are not the company they use to be.

I am one of the unfortunates who entered into a PREBUY agreement with Fred Fuller. I am now in an agreement with Rymes so I am on auto delivery and my fuel is paid for at a rate much higher than market.I called Rymes on Friday (2/6) to find out when my next delivery was scheduled. I informed the representative that I was at less than a ¼ tank. She told me, “we’ll probably be out by Tuesday”. I told her that I could make it to Tuesday so I didn’t request anything special.On Tuesday, I assumed that I was going to get a delivery. My problem was assuming and accepting the word “probably”. No delivery and I was at zero on my gauge. I called in the evening and told them I was going to run out. The representative told me she had no idea who told me Tuesday but their system said Wednesday. There was no sympathy or movement so I prayed to get through the night. I then called at 7 a.m. to see if I could get an early delivery. I was told by the same representative that I had the misfortune to deal with the evening before that it was an emergency that I was going to run out of fuel. Her response was, “everyone is running out of fuel”. I doubt that is true. She told me that they don’t give out times. I balked and she told me even if it were a summer delivery they would not give me a delivery time. I said that Rymes had bad customer support. Her response was, “This is not a customer service issue”. What? I told her that if she was on the other side of the conversation that she would most certainly consider it a customer service issue.* I am prepaid* I am auto delivery* I called 4 days ago to give a heads up.So why am I running out of fuel?As a customer what else could I have done to keep my house heated? I didn’t drop the ball they did. I have never gotten a letter or anything from Rymes when they took over my account despite a Prebuy contract. Guess they cant figure out how to do a mail merge.

I am on a plan with another company. When Rhymes had the lowest prices by far last fall, I called for a one time fill and they delivered the next day. Ill be switching to Rhymes as soon as my current obligation is up

Delivery service is terrible, and their customer service policy is to put you on hold for hours and never return your calls until you give up on the fact that they damaged your driveway despite clear notes NOT TO USE CUSTOMER DRIVEWAY
