I wish I could give 10 stars! We had our wedding cake made here in 2019, just finally writing this review!Vail and her husband Ryan made us THE most beautiful and delicious wedding cake there could ever be!I checked out 3 other bakeries(only because we were marrying in Maine and I thought it would be too difficult to transport the cake, but Riverstones was ALWAYS my first choice!). Not one of the other bakers could even come close to what we were looking for and all we wanted was a simple birch themed cake. I finally spoke to Vail and she understood exactly what we wanted andshe helped to package the cake in a way that we could transport it ourselves the night before the wedding. It arrived in perfect condition and was the most beautiful, perfect cake Ive ever seen! Every detail was perfect., right down to the green lectin on the logs! The taste was exquisite second to NONE!I also must mention that Ryan had just broken his leg and they still they were super accommodating. They are amazing people and amazing Bakers and we cannot thank them enough!Thank you Vail and Ryan for the cake of our dreams!Mr and Mrs Tabacco❤

Friendly helpful staff. Delicious and exquisite raspberry chocolate mousse! Huge cinnamon buns! And dog treats that my mutts obviously enjoyed.

This is an AMAZING little bakery. They are super nice folks and have a wide variety of sweets to choose from. Not to mention the coffees that are specifically blended and oh so flavorful. Take the whole family and treat yourselves to a sweet time! Next time we come to New Hampshire, this will definitely be on our agenda. (Our visit was in march of 2018)

A clean organized place. The foods are big! A bit expensive but soo worth it! I love the cheesecake and cinnamon rolls, so rich in flavor. Cant wait to go back there again. 🤗

When my mother and I went to order cupcakes, it was a pleasant experience. We bought some of their pastries to test them before we got the cupcakes. They were very good and fresh for the most part. When we received the cupcakes today, they looked beautiful. When I bit into them though, I was VERY disappointed. They were hard, stale, and weeks old! It was as if they had been frozen for months and were then used, they were awful!! Our guests at the baby shower wouldnt even touch them after the first bite! I immediately called to explain the situation at 3:10pm, but they didnt take or return the call. It says they close at 4pm! I bought these to taste good, not look good. This was so disappointing and took away from the baby shower.

We bought our wedding cake from Riverstone bakery and were thrilled with the results. Everything from ordering the cake to sharing my designs to getting the cake dropped off was made easy. It was designed exactly as I hoped it would be. The most important part was that the cake itself was beyond delicious. The cake was moist, the frosting was incredible (statements that were repeated by all our wedding guest). We would highly recommendable this bakery to everyone, thank you for being part of our special day!

GREAT SCONES. Finally someone that knows how make them! Crunchy outside. NOT cakey. Excellent coffee! Looks like a shack outside. Driving by without stopping in would be a big mistake. HUGE!

I tried the pizza and my fiance tried a cinnamon roll, we both thought they were really good. Nice small bakery/ giftshop. Friendly service.

Stoped in three different times to see if they had any cakes. They only had by the slice. Second time I asked if they had any and they said to call ahead. The next week we called and left a message on their voice mail. They never returned our call. The next week we called again and left a message. Now this is during the day when they where open. Again they never picked up. We called a couple of times each time we left a message. Their stuff is good but you cant get a full cake. We stopped calling and stopped going in.

If you have not eaten cake from Riverstones, you have NEVER had cake!So worth the trip! Amazing!

Delicious cake, pastries and pizza! If you’re in Conway, stop by their new location just off Rt. 16 on the Kanc. Worth it! Their cakes to order have always been top notch.

I was in tears when these cupcakes arrived.They were for my gender reveal. To start off we paid $80 for 24 cupcakes. No one knew what we were having- I brought sealed envelope with the gender to the bakery and requested blue for boy pink for girl. When my mom got to the bakery in the afternoon to pick up the cupcakes she saw a bunch of blue frosting sitting on the counter. Surprise was ruined for her. Transporting cupcakes from the one counter to the other they had to re adjust them since they all tipped and moved. We live 5 minutes down the road she drove so carefully and the cupcakes still arrived a mess (see the picture). They should have used a cupcake holder not a cake box.So before the company arrived myself and husband tried standing them back up so they looked nice. They were falling apart, frosting coming off the top, papers peeling off, and the bumble bees wires coming out/tearing through the cake. WE BOTH SAW THE BLUE! We were both so upset.I tried to look on the bright side that my coming family and toddler didnt know yet so we proceeded to hand out the cupcakes carefully so we could count down and all bite in together. But everyone saw the metal wires from the bees and pulled them out so they could bite without getting wire. The blue was pulled up too. Surprise ruined for a bunch more people.Finally we do the countdown and my toddler bites in as I eagerly watch for his reaction.... HIS CUPCAKE HAD NO FILLING!!! Along with 3 others!!!The entire experience was ruined for myself and my family. I waited a year before reviewing, I wanted to be detailed without showing my anger. Im just disappointed and should have asked for a refund but I didnt want to start crying again so I avoided the bakery. As far as taste- the cakes were a bit dry and the frosting just toppled off so it was hard to enjoy.

Just stopped in while driving through and we bought some scones, cinnamon rolls, and muffins. Sorry to report all had unappetizing textures and were overly sweet and heavy handed with cinnamon. I’m a sweets hog and just couldn’t eat it. 😣. Bad as bad gets.

I had a great experience and the Pina Colada cake was not only delicious, it was stunning and just as I hoped it would look. Very colorful!! I stopped into the bakery early morning hoping to grab a cake and go but they didn’t have any at that moment. After speaking with Ryan, we had a plan and later that day after closing hours he met me with the cake on his way home which I really appreciated because I couldn’t make it to the shop before closing and I needed the cake for a BBQ that night. It was an awesome experience all around and the Cake was seriously yummy, moist and not too sweet. Just right. Thanks for a great cake!!!

My husband went to this bakery for a birthday cake for me and specifically asked for a full on buttercream frosting. I eat cake once a year for my birthday and buttercream is what I enjoy. It was rather last minutey so we were not expecting anything spectacular. When we went to pick the cake up the counter person mentioned that the icing was a fondant/ buttercream blend so that it would not be too sweet. Given that I eat buttercream once a year I thought OK but I guess but I prefer real buttercream. On my birthday we had the cake and sadly it was awful. The cake was not a good crumb and the frosting was abysmal. Tasted like it had a zero buttercream content. My husband thought it was the worst cake he has ever had and he is not a picky sweet eater, he can find something redeeming about most sweets but this was for him a toss out cake so he dumped the entire $55 cake in the barrel. The best thing I can say is they did accommodate him on short notice but perhaps they didnt do us any favors.

Bought 2 slices of cake, one was supposed to be pina colda but tasted like plain white cake. The cognac cake slice tasted like gingerbread. Disappointed since I had heard from several people that the cakes were delicious.
