Stopped by to have my Audi TT serviced for a low tire and oil light. Before I talked to the office staff a knowledgeable, friendly Tech looked a looked at my tires explained to me that they probably wont have the tires in stock because of the speed rating. Excellent customer service can be hard to find. However, that is what I found here. A BIG shout-out to Chuck ONeil, Todd Carden, and Kyle Schnider! I had a loud mystery clunk while travelling and took it in to be assessed. I was nervous about being taken for a ride, since I was from out of town and this was one of the few shops open on a Saturday afternoon. The crew there dove into the problem to investigate and were very thorough and helpful. In short, they were able to get me safely back on the road. These men were helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and HONEST! Thanks Gents!

Had a horrific experience. I took my car in at 20 minutes til close because my tire pressure light came on. When I went in I wasnt sure what had happened so they were going to check the pressure for me. Fine. Then when I get out I see a huge screw in my tire. I was told that it took 30 to 45 minutes to repair a tire and they close at 7pm so we just put extra air in it. (Knowing this is a lie I have had several tires replaced plugged and patched over the years) i took my car to cookeville honda and got it fixed in 11 minutes thank you cookeville honda. Also I called their corporate office. Manager is supposed to call within 48 hours. I dont want any compensation. I want him to know his employee turned away business. I will NEVER be back and now know why I NEVER go here to begin with.

They tried to charge me $260 to replace 2 radiator hoses on a 95s-10, I went there to get my upper and lower control arms replace which they wanted $1800 to do. I had another mechanic do the work and more for $300. Definitely will not be back or recommend them to anyone.

We were traveling in TN from Florida. Ended up with this bad tire and they got us a new tire on and had us back on the road quickly! Great customer service too.

I showed up, needed some tires and an oil change and was taken care of right away. Micah took care of me and he was super nice. All the guys working were nice and never tried to push anything that wasnt needed. The price was fair and I genuinely feel taken care of.

Offered inappropriate services and refused to do an alignment on a vehicle until these services were completed. Claimed things needed to be replaced which had already been. The service they offer here is acceptable; they arent going to deliberately screw up your vehicle, and I doubt theyll do it accidentally either. But they absolutely will offer you things your vehicle does not need and try to make it sound urgent; and if you dont know better, you may come out wasting hundreds of dollars.

Obviously they just hire anybody because they first dont understand the car I have and took over a month to fix something that they caused not even 2 weeks later after spending 3 thousand on fixing it another problem occurs that I am sure they caused yet again. The only reason we go there is because my bf trusts them for what reason idk . Worst place.

To me Firestone is just a big company that get away with bullying and taking advantage of people. I took a truck there for a oil change and a full service check.they told me they werent going to be able to get it done before quitting time. And talked me into leaving it overnight, so I asked them if they would have a place to lock it up so nothing gets stolen and they said oh yes we always lock all the vehicles up inside. So I come back the next day to find out that after the boss left the office the employees had not only Park the pickup back outside but also left it unlocked which left me with hundreds of dollars worth of tools missing. To this day they havent been standing good for this nor returning calls and cant hardly get a hold of them. They might just be up for a big surprise. Oh and they do not have any cameras.

One of my employees dropped one of our work trucks of for an alignment and oil change and they weren’t able to finish it that day so told us to pick it up the day. Promising that it would be locked inside their shop overnight as it was heavily stocked in tools. Not only was it not parked inside but it was left unlocked in the parking lot. $1500 dollars of tools were stolen as well as a credit card. Police report and everything filed but firestone wouldn’t lift a finger to make it right. Claims department wouldn’t answer the phone or return calls. Conveniently there’s no surveillance cameras on the entire property. What a joke of a business. I’ll never be back.

Booked an appointment a week in advance to have an alignment since we were going on vacation. Showed up for my appointment and they said I wasn’t on the schedule. Did not offer to work me in etc.

It was a stressful day and they got my car fixed and back on the road the same day.

Good for tires and alignment. Service is overpriced and mediocre at best. They do do warranties on all their repairs which is good. But they couldnt even diagnose my Mercedes correctly.

Extra friendly staff. Plan ahead because it does take an hour for theyre oil change but they do a great job

Good service, online appointments. Typically high priced mediocre tires.

They were willing to work with my appointment time I requested. I requested one at 4:00pm and never confirmed or denied it. So, when I showed up, I was told that the price and appointment were bit available for me but they had other tires that were more expensive. Though it was helpful, not very clear on the pricing and appointment times and services.

We had 3 really bad tires and they took us in almost immediately and made sure we were safe to continue our road trip. The two guys working at the desk were very kind, and the service was good quality and they let us know what other things our car needed replaced in the future. We definitely appreciated the thoroughness.

Took forever!!!! 6 hours for and oil change and to fix a tire.

Came in today from having a trailer tire blow out on the interstate. The trailer has been in service for a non profit disaster relief org. From the Nashville tornados and the guys at the desk were super helpful getting our team a reasonably priced replacement, they got us quickly back on the road, wonderful service for our team today.

They dont deserve one star... I had to sell my 04 Altima for 50 bucks because I was told nothing was wrong with it (after explaining what was very obviously wrong with it). I was told it was nothing but a faulty thermometer... It actually had a blown head gasket. Antifreeze completely ruined my engine and rendered my car inoperable.Bought a newer car and was getting some maintenance done. Scheduled an appointment for 2:00 pm and they hadnt even moved my car from the parking lot until after 3:00 because i asked when id be looked at, pointing to my car in their lot. i waited 2 hours to get 30 minutes of work done.Rude staff. Never going back. Never recommending.

Great place for a good deal on tires. The trailer tires are top notch. Bree, Chuck, and Stephen do a great job with their customers. I worked here for almost two years and I can say that Firestone will do you right the first time.

Had a quote for $525 good for 30 days to be dropped off at 11am. Didn’t get my car till 2 pm, and they tried to charge me over $700 out the door. After showing I was displeased I got some BS charge of about 75 taken off, but still had to pay over $100 more out the door than expected. Last time I will ever use this place, should have went to Goodyear or Michelin

We were traveling from Gatlinburg, Tn. on our way home and we had a bad tire. We still had over 100 miles to get home and we had our granddaughter in the car. The temperature was 89 degrees. We pulled in at 3:30 and asked if they would fix our tire. They turned us away. They said we could park our car, leave it overnight and they would fix it when they could. This was on Memorial Day weekend. Needless to say we were devastated! They were our only hope to get back home safely and the only place open. How could people like this be so cruel and unkind to the safety of the lives like us in need. God forbid anyone that has to go through what we had to go through that day!

I am extremely satisfied with my vehicle repair. Everyone at Firestone was professional and courteous. They were informative of my vehicle needs and walked me through the process. I was extremely impressed by their offering of providing me a safe ride home until my vehicle repair was completed. All an all a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone in need of respectful and reliable vehicle maintenance and repair.

The gentleman working that evening when we stopped by about an hour and a half before closing time was rude and seemed as if he may have been upset when I mentioned that I would wait on someone to check my vehicle, as my family and I were from out of town on our way to Nashville. This location was not willing to do anything to help anyone with vehicle problems, even as I explained that I had two children with special needs and did not feel safe driving on the interstate with the check engine light on. The female employee did however, try and help the situation, but could not do much as she was not a service tech.

They helped me when noone else would. I just needed a new tire put on a rim and not one place in cookeville would do it because it was close to closing time but these guys went out of their way and put it on . Good people

Firestone on Jefferson is under new management and has a great team! They are friendly, professional and honest. The team was very realistic on wait times and suggested making appointments if it’s something that would take longer, which I appreciated. They always give me updates whether I’m waiting or dropped my car off. This team genuinely cares and really goes above and beyond!

Ive been there 3 different times this year and they can never get you in for service I had a brake on my van sticking I pulled in because it was sticking and they said they didnt have the help to fix it. ILL never be back and ILL tell my friends not to go there neither.

My daughter went in to get a simple AC repair and while the workers were very nice the service was AWFUL. Told her all she needed was new freon and the problem would be fixed, however after waiting 3 hours and $150 later the AC proceeded to break just 2 HOURS after leaving. When I called to ask what else they could do they said nothing, so basically we’re out $150 and looking elsewhere for help. Completely took advantage of her and her lack of knowledge with the situation. Would never recommend this place to anyone or ever go back.

Very happy with service and product.

Told me I needed a gas tank and fuel pump when I came in for oil change. Over 1600$. I said no and they wouldnt give me keys to leave. I had to get wrecker because they said they would call police. Had car towed to another place. I talked to law enforcement and there is no such thing. Pure fraud. And I didnt get oil change but had to pay $99 Just for consult. Fraud. This was just this week. October 2018. Awful the way the manager spoke to us.and then came out and said he would fix for $500. Fraud.

I was in town for a funeral & Had a flat with a piece of wire stuck in the center of the tread.. I bought the tire from Costco originally. Upon looking at the tire, the store manager said they could not patch the tire. Went to the other Firestone in town & they said the same thing. I bought a new one at the location on Willow. When I presented the punctured tire to Costco on my return, they patched it with no problem. So I could not even get a credit for the punctured tire. Unbelievable!

The wait was long, but it was a walkin and a weekend, so I dont mind. They were professional and helpful. Employees are required to upsell a lot, so dont be afraid to put your foot down.

The staff was very helpful especially when I was driving an Enterprise rental car that had a tire issue. Enterprise were trying to have me replaced a new tire on the car. That agent had tried to put fix-a-flat into the tire. In which, damaging the tire even more. The Firestone staff had reached out to his Enterprise contact and was able to take care of it. By doing that, there was not a cost to me.

Ordered tires online and schedule appointment too, when I got there they were out of the ones that I ordered and tried to up sale me on a tire that was $23.00 higher than the other one. Said did not no when others would be in, they just come in when ever. Then tried to to charge us 60.00 to ship from another store. I dont so, not good experience, will be going to Discount Tires from now.

I was driving an Enterprise rental car that ended up needing an oil change since I had it so long. I informed Firestone at checkin that the tire had just started losing pressure & the guy said probably just temperature change. It was down from 32 to 19psi, that is not “due to weather”. They did oil change, put air in & said all was good. End up stranded the next day with a flat tire in same tire, nail in tire. Lazy employees not doing their job.

This place was the only place I could find willing to help us out with our car troubles on a Sunday afternoon, and Daniel’s expertise with Subarus was invaluable as he quickly identified the repairs that needed to be made. Highly appreciated that he test drove the car with us to help him diagnose it. Rest of the staff was very friendly as well as honest and genuinely helpful. Thanks guys!!

The first time I came here it was good. But today, is Good Friday. I was off work and decided to use my FREE alignment that I PAID for a year subscription about two months ago. I had an appointment at 8am, so I woke up earlier than I intended too and got there when they opened at 7am. Someone was scheduled at 7am to get an alignment so I was cool with that but they didn’t get to my until 8:30am. At that point I was not waiting another 1.5 hours to get an alignment. Now I don’t have an alignment and it is Easter weekend and I have a road trip next week. I suppose it is either a manager problem that they weren’t watching what the workers were doing to stay on schedule or the workers just weren’t working. Not sure, but I am hoping this does not happen again for their sake.

Horrible service. Waited well over an hour for scheduled oil change. Breana at the front desk was unpleasant and unprofessional. Not only did service tech fail to reset my dashboard computer, he somehow messed it up to the point that I now have to take it to dealer mechanic to fix. What a nightmare. AVOID THIS PLACE.

These guys really bailed me out today while I was driving from Tennessee to Iowa. And they didn’t even charge me!

We were traveling from Pennsylvania to Tennessee and our car broke down after getting gas at the pilot down the street. While we got our car towed down to the shop we called to let them know we were on the way and they fixed it right away for us. The manager and technicians were really friendly and I am super thankful we were able to get back on the road right away.

Ive been here many many times. You take the good with the bad. They will price match my mail coupons that I get. I am a big coupon person when it comes to sales. So $19.95 for an oil change is great!

Went in this morning after making an appointment for an oil change at 11 oclock. Took almost an hour before they even brought my car into the shop, and another hour to do a simple oil change. While I was there, a man was able to get his brakes and rotors done along with a tire rotation in less time it took them to change my oil. If I would have known it would take that long, I would have either done it myself, or brought it anywhere else. In no shop has it ever taken that long for a simple oil change. It should take about 30 minutes max. I would never recommend this shop to anyone that doesnt want them to come up with bs problems with your car and then say, its about done, then take another 30-45 minutes to finish. Worst shop Ive ever been to.

Friendly, pleasant crew and they go the extra mile for the customer.They took me in on the spot even though it was close to the end of the day when I called. They were very busy yet they fit me in to fix the faulty starter that was installed at another location and still under warranty. I had my truck back by noon the next day.They made sure I got to and from the motel and was back on the road when I needed to be. Thank you!

Every time I bring my car in they are always welcoming and smiling. The tech that work on my car was Brian. He’s always great on telling me what is going on with my car. I will bring my car back to him.

The staff is very nice, they do a great job. There will be a long wait on your vehicle though. But they try there best to make your wait comfortable!!!

Great technicians and customer service.... The other side of this though can be tricky. They also point out every defect on your vehicle, to some this can be two edged sword. I have experienced this first hand when my wife called stating the wheels were going to fall off our vehicle, if she didnt spend over 1500.00 to fix the issues.

After filling up our tank on our cross state trip we turned our car on only to realize we could not get it out of park. We had it towed to this location and they took care of us right then and there. The gentlemen at the location were so friendly and considerate! We are very greatful they stayed over to help us get our car working so we wouldnt be stuck in Cookeville for the night. Went in to Firestone today hoping to buy the new MT2 Mud tires for my dually. I didn’t care about how much it would cost me because I understand tires are expensive. One thing I say is that I will never be back at this location again. I did not ask for help because I heard a woman employee yelling and being very unprofessional so I left. I would not suggest going to this Firestone location.

I called before I came around four. They said itd be about a ten minute wait til they could start on my tire alignment. When I arrived they immediately took my car and started. It comes with a one year warranty and I didnt wait long at all. Completely satisfied. Id recommend them to anyone looking to get a tire alignment :) - Heather

Had me in and out in 22 min putting a new tire on my car! Never had service that fast before. The gentleman at the register had already clocked out to go home but stayed longer to talk to the the other techs and let them know what was going on so I did not explain everything again to the next person coming in.

What a NIGHTMARE! We took both of our vehicles there and they put new highly rated tires on both. After spending nearly 1700.00 and going back and complaining they put another brand new set on both vehicles for free. That was good customer service but the tires are still bad!! We are now going to have to buy more new tires somewhere else because every set they put on for us is bad. What a waste of money and time!!! We would NEVER use this Firestone again!!!!!

My son went there because hes in college and we have road hazard warranty on his tires. He went in there to get one replaced they bent every center cap on his wheels. After it was noticed it was too late to go back and complain. Because if he would have went back they were just blamed him.

I was traveling from Greenville SC back home to Clarksville TN when I got a flat tire about an hour east of this Firestone location. I got my spare on, but still had 180 miles to go before home and didnt want to drive all that way on a spare. I knew I couldnt make it to this Firestone for a new tire by their closing time, so I called and asked if they could please stay open a bit late for me. Steven the manager agreed. I arrived 25 minutes past closing. Crystal at the front desk and the gentlemen who put on my new tires were both great, even having been at work for a long full day. (I say tires because Crystal saw that my two front tires had just come under recall, so they were both replaced.) I so appreciate their great attitude, quick service, and getting me safely back on the road!!

Overpriced, complete joke of a business. Other mechanic did same work for 1/3 the price.

I came in at 10 am was told it would take 1 hour for a full car inspection. They met this at Just before 11 I was told they would only need an hour to complete the repair. At 12:30 Im told that it will take another hour because they took the mechanic off my car and decided to work on someone elses car instead.

This shop TOTALLY botched the tie rod replacement that they recommended to us. Took the truck to another shop because it was still pulling to the right, only to find out that Firestone Cookeville litterally put the wrong part on my truck! Had the correct part on one side and the incorrect one on the other. It was very dangerous! I would not recommend this place for ANYTHING!

Very Unhappy!!! My son who attends college at TTU had his Land Rover stop running a few weeks ago. I traveled over 80 miles from home, diagnosed the problem, and ordered a starter. After receiving the starter I realized I needed a lift to replace it. I called Firestone explained in detail exactly what I wanted them to do for me, replace the starter with my part, would they do that? I stated I wasnt asking for any type of guarantee. The lady who answered the phone had me to hold on while she got approval from the manager to do this.She returned and said they agreed to put my part on and quoted me a price $200 so I said great do it. Today my son picked up the vehicle and they charged me for diagnostics extra $50, not a big deal but... The gentleman working the counter berated our son and told him that the person that quoted me the price to change starter had been fired because of him. He ranted and raved in front of all customers and stated They dont replace new parts that they cant charge you for. Then telling him he would be lucky to get three miles down the road without breaking down because of our part. Our Part was brand new OEM from Land Rover, really.... The Manager approved the service and quoted me a price before having vehicle towed.

Steven went above and beyond to help us when we blew out a tire. Stayed late and helped change our tire. Highly recommend!!

I was passing through the Cookeville area (on vacation from South Carolina) when I started noticing tire vibration. The staff at the Firestone quickly accessed my account and worked me into a busy schedule to check the tires.....one was out of balance so I may have thrown a weight.The staff was friendly and not only corrected the balance but checked the rims and tires for any other problems. Thanks to them, it made the rest of the trip more enjoyable as well as easing my mind that I may have had more serious issues.

This place is a joke. The management and customer service don’t know how to take care of people. I would rather walk 5 miles to the next tire shop if I was stranded. The service advisors don’t have the knowledge or experience. They try to upsell on wheel alignments even on a brand new 2017 Tacoma under warranty. How are they trying to take advantage of ppl like and feel like they are helping and serving us? I’m never going to recommend this firestone located on Jefferson avenue in Cookeville.I have tried give them an opportunity to make things right.
