The good: great paint and great supplies. The bad: I chose a specialty paint store instead of a big box store in the hopes of receiving great customer service. Instead I wandered around the store, pretty clearly uncertain of which supplies to buy, and no-one acknowledged me, let alone asked if I needed help. Once I reached the counter I was given decent service, but I think it’s important to assist customers throughout the shopping experience.

Sherwin Williams has a great selection of paint. This location has friendly, helpful staff. Im able to order online or call ahead and my order is ready when I get there.

The male clerk was BEYOND RUDE in this Coppell store. I asked a paint question as to the differences and was just told PREFERENCE. Hmmmm so if I don’t know the differences besides just PREFERENCE I cant form a preference or opinion. He then just shrugged me off to go over there and look which of course I had no idea where he was directing me and then he just waited on the person behind me, meaning taking stuff out to her car while I just remained clueless about where I was supposed to look. I promptly LEFT and went to ACE for very amazing service where they basically took me by the hand to show me what the differences are look like and then bought from Ace. This is certainly NOT the first time I was treated RUDELY by the clerks in this COPPELL store but it will now be my LAST because the FLOWER MOUND store is much more helpful! I wish I could give a ZERO!
Latest update: Went to the store but the manager left, Ian from the store was very helpful by calling the manager and walk through the refund over the phone with the manager, finally after numerous trips we were able to complete the transaction. Up to 3 stars because the very helpful associate Ian.Update to our original review, after our project competed we are trying to return unused and untainted paint back to the store (as we were told we could when we purchase extra). The counter insist that only the store manager can issue refund, we have make several trips to the store and the manager is always not there. The counter asked for our phone so the manager can get back to us but as of now we are still waiting for the manager to get back to us for the refund.Very disappoint with the service. Will definitely not use this store again.
They did not have what we needed, but they called another store and had it there within 2 hours! Great service.

Ian is a very knowledgeable associate. He has a very unique way of explaining things to help guide without putting you on the defense. Through explaining things thoroughly and offering suggestions he helped me avoid many pitfalls.
Came in 10 minutes before closing, knowing I was totally that person but also really wanting to get a project done and the employee was kind, helpful and timely!

Needed to get some paint shaken, that i bought like 5 years ago. The guys were real cool about doing it since it wasnt from their store.
Helpful staff, some are knowledgeable, some are just clocking in and out. Most products are overpriced while being inferior.
I have a complaint of the bad service a female employee who attended me today around 8 am. This is the third time I visit this specific store and this employee acts in the same way every time. Her tone and behavior were very disrespectful and it seems like shes always angry. She acts like this with Hispanic people and I know this because she acted the same way with the person right in front of me which was also Hispanic. The previous time, a different employee but had a completely different attitude. He was nice, actually attended me, and gave you suggestions in the kindest way. I dont have her name, but shes the only female employee Ive seen work there.
The staff is always very knowledgeable & helpful. If they dont have the exact color of paint you want, they can mix the color you need. We have used Sherwin-Williams paints in our entire home.
Megan is awesome! Not sure about these other reviews but I’m in that store all the time and she gets me in an out. Never out of color swatches either!
I am in complete agreement with the previous comment posted. The womans name is Megan and she is the general manager of this location. I tried calling ahead to have a gallon of paint mixed up so it would be ready when I arrived. Before I could tell her what I needed over the phone, she placed me on hold for over 10 mins. Frustrated, I hung up and called back. She never answered. I tried several times, the phone continued to ring. Upon arrival, she was helping some Hispanic gentlemen in front of me. Her attitude towards them was less than professional and she was short tempered. They finally gave up with her and left. I was at that point the only customer in the store, yet when she assisted me she acted rushed, frustrated and spoke with a tone that made me feel like I was bothering her. She clearly doesnt care for her job and doesnt have the desire to achieve great customer service. Unacceptable.
