Bad experience with this company. The moment you sign a contract they ask for the first payment. I gave it to them and they said they would start with all the measures in one week. It took them a month to show up. They used many excuses to justify that. The workers were extremely careless. My floors were full of dark marks and black glue. They had to paint the entire area when they finished because I told them I will not accept that. They also damaged several ceiling lights, which I also requested them to pay for and replace. make sure you inspect their job before you give them each payment. They asked me for the second payment without finishing what they supposed to do. Finally, I asked for a water test at the end of the job so I can be sure the windows are properly sealed and installed, they said they dont do that. They told me I should wait for a big storm and see. I had to ask my building manager to bring a hose and spray water on the windows and there were several leaks around the frames. They had to come and fix them. All windows were very dirty around the frames with many caulking marks and when I asked them to clean them, they told me they dont clean windows. Very bad customer service. I did not expect them to clean the glass, but the frames they made so dirty was the least they could do. I will not recommend them at all.

My comments are based on just getting one new Hurricane Rated Side door since mine was rotted. It was busy season and it took a good six to eight weeks for the install, which was fine since I delayed my decision due to other pressing house upgrades. They kept me informed when the door came in to the shop, then we needed to wait for the permit, then the install. I had a problem that required two follow up visits, and they came back until the issue was resolved. The issue itself is not relevant since I am keenly aware things go wrong in construction. But rather that they were receptive to fixing it without making a big deal about it. Sales Rep, Office Manager and Installers educated me and were all nice and courteous if there was a site visit delay. In my opinion I rather wait the extra few weeks than be rushed to have something done ASAP, especially if you are doing proactive maintenance and upgrades.

I shopped around extremely for a great price till I came across this company. Very professional, great display and very descriptive as to what I was getting. Ill never know if there product is any good.Requested quotes twice. Responded once by email then never heard from them again. Put them in contact with my tenant to schedule a time to see the property...they contacted her after I followed up twice over the course of 2 weeks. On the day they were supposed to see the property, they no-showed.If the installation department works like the sales department, Im guessing youll be in trouble.

Unfortunately, after writing a positive review in 2018 for the install of 7 hurricane impact windows in my home, I now have to return to share my recent experience.I contacted Berger for the install of two hurricane impact doors because of our positive experience last year. I had a sales person come to my home on August 2nd. He wasnt able to answer many of our questions, to the point where I ended up looking through the vendors magazine on my own to pick out what we wanted. When he left, he said we would have the quote in 2 days. I waited until August 8th to reach out inquiring about the quote, to which he replied Id have it by COB that day. August 9th...checked in again. The sales person never answered, so by the week of August 12th, I reached out to Berger directly. After a few more days of telling me it would be emailed, I finally received a call on August 16th stating that the owner would be coming to my home on August 19th to provide me a quote directly. Today is August 19th and needless to say, no-one showed up.Its unfortunate, because I normally dont leave reviews unless I have a very positive experience and I did have one with Berger last year. But we were prepared to quickly purchase two doors and now, are being forced to do so with another company.

Worst service ever. Alex does not EVER communicate, after multiple calls & texts gets his assistant to deal with his clients, will NOT adhere to his timeline, and will send workers who dont know what theyre doing. We failed city inspection TWICE because of their incompetence. STAY AWAY!
