We have had OffCampus care for both of our vehicles for several years. Our truck is 20 years old and runs great due to their TLC. Our car was 14 years old and they worked hard to keep it going...I just wore it out!

They are one out of two best car shops in the Coralville area. They stand out from the rest because they have excelent customer service skills. They work quick through their waiting lists, fast turn around time, they can loan a loaner vehicle if necessary while the car is in the shop, and they are very happy to explain any car related issues to the customer. I still think it’s a scandal what prices car shops charge for labor hours, but that’s everywhere now. I only give four stars because their tow service is kind of rude and disproportionately expensive. I recommend this service.

Everyone at Off Campus Auto Repair was super helpful and kind. I’d been there once before when I had gotten a flat tire and decided to go back again this time with regular repairs and an oil change. Im always able to get my vehicle in quickly, repairs are virtually always done same day, and it often winds up coming out even cheaper than I expected. The oil change was quick and efficient, the person working on my car notified me windshield wipers were not in good shape, so he replaced them for me and let me know I had no light on my license plate on the back, so he put it on for me. Very clean operation, very happy with the service.

We broke down on the side of the road on our drive through Iowa, so we didnt have a lot of options as far as shopping around, and I feel like we were pretty lucky to end up with Off Campus Auto Repair. They gave us a loaner vehicle to get around town, they communicated a lot and kept us up to date on progress, and they completed the repairs in a reasonable time for a reasonable price. We were very happy with our experience and appreciated everything Off Campus Auto Repair did to get us back on the road safely and quickly.

This is the most excellent auto repair shop Ive ever used. They are friendly they go out of their way to help people. They provide loaner cars. I would recommend them to anyone and is the only place I use.

We were moving our daughter across the country. We had a car accident that caused us to be towed to a repair place. We just picked this place from google. The car was towed in at 5 pm and was ready to be picked up by 1:30 pm the next day. They kept us informed on what was wrong, repair costs, and timeline. I’m very grateful to them for getting us back on the road quickly. We had another 1,800 miles to go, and the car drove perfectly.

First time bringing my car here, very friendly staff, clean waiting area. Didnt make me feel like they were trying to upsell me additional services I didnt need just because I am a lady. They let me know a few things they found that needed attention and how much that would be when Im ready to get those things done. They had it wrapped up in a very reasonable amount of time and even offer loaner cars. Great place, will definitely continue bringing my vehicles there. The only slight negative is that youre not quite sure you are at the right place when you first pull up-they could use some better signage outside to let you know they are there.

They took care of my car after Billion Kia said my car passed inspection. The brakes were rusted and grinding. All 4 brakes were replaced. Off campus treated me with respect and empathy. They even tried to call Billion to see if they looked at my car at all.

Whenever we have a question about our vehicle I’ve always called Keith at Off Campus. I know that he’ll always have the answers for me. I’ll take the vehicle in & he’ll check it over, make his suggestions & we’ll then go from there. Always fair, always professional, always kind, & always gets the job done. If something were to go wrong Keith would tell us to bring the vehicle back in. Luckily we haven’t had to do that. It’s comforting for me to feel a sense of security with Off Campus.

I stopped in and said, This is my first time getting car service here in town, I have a bad oil pressure sensor, and an engine lean (which has multiple related codes) and Id like to get a quote.They said theyll diagnose the oil light and check engine light and call me back with what they found out. I was then charged $143 dollars for them to tell me exactly what I already knew, and run about an 1/8th of my fuel tank down. Ridiculous.

I would HIGHLY recommend this auto repair shop. I brought in my car to have it looked at when a strange noise started occuring. They diagnosed the issue and told me to take it to the dealership because it would be covered at no charge under my warranty. I sincerely appreciate their honesty. A friend then had her car serviced there after hearing about my experience, after which the owner contacted me to thank me for the positive review and sharing my experience. They have never asked me to give them a positive public review, but they are definitely deserving.

My conversion Ford E-150 Van experienced a ruptured A/C line for the auxiliary unit. Off Campus was the only shop willing to work on the problem. I left Waterbury C.T on my way to Denver C. O. On November 11th my transmission started slippin in the middle of the night I 80 west... I pulled in a rest area for the night... Called Triple AAA... In Rhode Island they in turn with the the local Triple AAA reps.. Who contacted Off Campus Auto Repair... This was 5am the 12th of November at 4pm my van was back up an fixed.. I continued my trip to Denver the next day... An made it back to Waterbury Connecticut November 19th... Thanx guys... My van is still running ......

This was my first visit to Off Campus and the only things I needed were oil & filter change, tire rotation, and new windshield wipers. The price seemed fair and the staff were professional and pleasant. I appreciate the fact that they wiped down my car’s interior and key fob before returning to me.

I travel halfway across the state for work. I started having car trouble later on a Friday afternoon and managed to limp into this shop. I was treated with nothing but respect. I received a quick diagnosis. The part arrived promptly, and I was on my way again an hour later. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The estimate for the repair was accurate, and the price was very fair. I cant say enough about Off Campus. If I lived locally, I would be a loyal customer forever. I recommend them in a heartbeat.

I took my car to the dealer for a problem with the heater and they recommended replacing parts with no option of anything less expensive. Off Campus Auto Repair suggested trying a flush of the heater core first as a much less expensive option. I am very impressed they suggested the less expensive option.

I went to Off Campus Auto to replace a headlight that was out. James was extremely helpful and took the time to explain to me exactly what needed to be replaced and showed me exactly where on the car they would be doing the work. I found this reassuring compared to most shops who tell you what the repair costs, but don’t bother to fully explain what exactly they will be doing. I definitely will be returning to Off Campus Auto for all of my other car needs!

My car would not start and my AAA roadside assistance recommended Off Campus Auto Repair. The folks I interacted with throughly explained their procedures, kept me informed throughout the repairs to my car (it would not start which was due to an error in the A/C), and were transparent about timetables and costs upfront. If they keep my car for a day they have a loaner for me to drive at no charge. This service in itself is almost unheard of in this day and age. What I know at the end of the day is that not only is my car fixed right but that The attention to detail is exceptional. We’ve always been treated like members of the family.

Super quick service. Tow truck arrived in about 15 after calling, & we left the shop 30 minutes after that with a rental! Repairs were complete the next day before noon! Fast, amazing service and I was updated every step of the way by either a call or text.
