Ive taken several cars here over the years and have not had a problem with the transmissions ever. I moved out of state 3 years ago and still use them for my transmission work. The truck I currently drive, I bought last year with a blown transmission because I knew Id get good service at a good price. Just dropped off my jeep to have him check that one out. Always a good experience! I highly recommend this place!

Wish I could give 0 stars. Where do I begin. Brought my truck in to get a new clutch about a year ago. Have had problems with it ever since. Must have brought it back over 10 times. Every time truck sits outside and never got touched. Took them almost 8 months to fix a broken side mirror that they conveniently broke. But the worst part is that i left my truck again in March to have it looked at again, it sat outside, never touched, they broke in and stole my camcorder and some other stuff. Went to go pickup my truck and no one is there. It has been over 3 months and after 45 visits and 52 phone calls, Mike is still not at his shop. Does not matter what time of day i visit. I got burned, spent over $1000, the clutch is worst then i dropped it off to him. Cant get in touch with anyone. Luckily i had an extra set of keys to get my truck. But Mike still has my other set of keys. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Already went to the cops, my next move is to take Mike to court.

Great service. Been going to Champion Transmissions of Coram for a few years now. They explain everything in detail of what is wrong with the car. Plus a local drop off and pick up service if you need . You cant go wrong with Champions service. Totally honest and reliable car care service .My wife and I have been bringing our cars here for a few years now and have always had great experiences! I recently had Mike the owner of champion install a new clutch and flywheel, install belts, and adjust brakes. I could not be happier with his work, he is honest and sticks to the price he gives you. Very nice guys that make you feel like your not going to be taken advantage of.... And the best part is every time I called I got the owner, how often do you see that anymore? Rarely!. Ive been burned by people in the past so Mike went and showed me the old clutch and flywheel to make me assured the work was done and done right. I had gone to CHAMPION TRANSMISSION after receiving a lot of confusing information from other transmission shops. Mike told me immediately what was wrong and fixed my transmission for me at an extremely fair price. I also needed a lot of front end work and was going on a trip. He went out of his way to fit me in on a Saturday and worked late to resolve problems for me. He is extremely honest and reliable. Top of the line train shop highly recommend and that’s hard to say a lot of them are very expensive

Truth be told, I expected to bury my car when my transmission was acting up. The staff at Champion were beyond exceptional. They identified the problem and gave me a great price for it. While there were closer transmission shops, it was worth driving the extra mile for a place that will go the extra mile for you.

Mike is honest, fair, and he does great work! Went to him originally 5 years ago after Aamco said I needed new tranny. Needless to say I didnt!!! He handles all the work on my cars...satisfied customer. Mike is truly one of the good guys spread the word!!

Very honest about what needs to be done.

I got burned! They do not stand behind their product! They gave me a 2 year warranty and never honored it.They did an Eldorado Transmission 2 years ago and it wasnt right since. Brought it back to them at least eight times and the car just sat out in front of the shop and was never touched. Finally after much frustration, I told them I was taking the car to someone else and they would have to pay for the repair and they agreed to. It was repaired elsewhere at my expense and they are now not honoring anything.Stay Away At All Costs.In the process of small claims court!
