Mr Ortiz did a great job on my Dodge charger. The charger had a huge dent on rear passenger side door and some paint scratches on the passenger side of the vehicle. Mr Ortiz did an amazing job on the car replacing the door and fixing any imperfections on the car. For a good price. The car looks brand new and you can’t even tell anything ever happened. I brought my suv to Ortiz Body shop in April to get an estimate on frame and body work, he seemed like he knew what he was talking about. He also said that if I wanted it done to wait a few weeks due to him being busy, so I waited. On June 24 2020 I finally was able to drop the vehicle off. Eli asked me for half down on the initial amount which was 1500-1600 so I left $800 that day and brought him 200 more 3 days later. Eli originally told me he was going to take a month or so because he had his insurance work that was priority which I was completely fine with, he also asked me to not be the customer that is constantly bugging him so I respected that. About a month later he still hadnt touched my vehicle but he assured me that he was getting close to getting started and said he figured it would take him a few weeks to complete. Skip to mid August, I stopped by to check progress after unsuccessfully trying to make contact with Mr. Ortiz. He is very hard to get a hold of! In mid August I had mentioned were going on two months he again gave me his word he was going to get it done! October 26, 2020 I get a message that the parts I bought were not going to work, he stated that he wanted to go to the pull a part and get the parts himself. I was very frustrated with his service, by this point it had been 4 months! Eli demanded I pay him half a day to go get the parts which I declined because it would have taken him at most an hour, so he said come get your vehicle. He then stated that he completed 70% of the work and I could finish it myself. I went to the shop to see what was still needed to finish the job and my frame was hacked up, still had the bend that was supposed to be straightened, he literally put one bolt in each fender to hold them on to cover the butcher work he had done to my fender rails. He also wanted more money in order for me to take my truck. I paid him more money for an incomplete job in order to recover my truck and cut my loses! Fast forward to December. I have taken my truck to another body shop to try and complete the Job Eli was incapable of only to find out that this new shop wont touch it because the way everything was hacked up. I was told that I now need a new frame and possibly new inner fender rails which were also cut up by Eli, I took my vehicle to Eli because I had met him at a National chain body shop and believed he could do the work. I was completely unaware of his incompetence as a body man. As if all of this wasnt bad enough, he dented my rear door and tried denying he was at fault. Good thing I made sure to take photographs of my truck in his shop the day I left it. It was only after I showed him proof through the photos that he assumed responsibility for the damage. So, I dropped off a vehicle in need of repair and actually picked it up with even MORE damage than I left it in. Terrible communication, horrible work ethic, a complete SCAM. I am out a $1,150 bucks which is a lot of money to be done wrong by someone who calls himself a professional! If it were possible I would put NO stars.3/23Now that Eli has cleaned up his grammar on his original post I will add my part half of the stuff on his updated response is untrue number one I didn’t work for the company I work for now at the time I took the vehicle to him! Number to Eli being a the body man New the state of my vehicle I took it to him so he could personally see it and give me an estimate he never said buy a frame he never said I can’t fix this he said your vehicle has to be measured and polled and measured more than once and I made sure that he wanted to take the job on I understood that his insurance jobs will take priority over my self paying Job I got three estimates from Eli he never refused To take on my job my vehicle was from an insurance auction I have bought and sold many Wrecked vehicles I just chose the wrong shop this time I met Eli when he worked for caliber collision he apparently did the same thing at that establishment his response is about 30% true which is fine because I know this affect his business!

I went to a big franchise collision repair shop, wasnt comfortable with their estimate including my desire to pay cash, which they discouraged as costs could skyrocket. Worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with a body shop. Paint job was so cheap it peeled off like it was a park bench. They left SWIRLS all over my car. I had no check engine or abs lights when I took it in upon picking it up I had numerous codes popping up. I spent thousands of dollars of my hard earned money to not get nearly the job I paid for. Plus now I have to spend even more money to get a real paint job and to fix whatever codes my car has now. Please stay far away from this place. Mr Ortiz paints a pretty picture like he cares about the customer but once he gets your money or starts falling behind on labor he cheats you out cuts corners and you end up with a bad result

Driver had rear ended me on driver rear side....causing several dents in left rear quarter panel...as well as knocking bumper partially off. Mr Ortiz temporarily screwed it back in until parts arrived. He gave honest pricing and honest educated opinions. Parts arrived...and damaged parts were replaced. Car looks good as new and no dents remaining at all. Paint job was excellenthighly recommend.

Ortiz Body Shop is a very friendly shop with great service. They did a great job on my 2010 Nissan maxima that needed the back door and a dent fixed. Elíseo did a great job all the way from the beginning to the end explaining everything that his work was going to entail. My rear bumper was damaged on a Saturday afternoon and I called Ortiz Body Shop immediately. Even though the shop was closed, Mr. Ortiz answered the phone and asked me to text him pictures of the damaged bumper. He said he could give me an estimate if I meet him at his shop that Saturday afternoon. He reviewed the damage, provided a detailed estimate, and rush ordered the part.
