The people here were so helpful! I placed an order with an appointment time online and when I showed up, I guess it wasnt in the system for the appointment. They showed everything else so Marie and the other girl (new employee, no name tag and I missed what she said) got me into the line up asap. They went to the back and couldnt find all four of the tire I had put in order so they offered a number of others for the same price and buy 3, get 1 free deal I had placed them under. The tires they offered were all higher grade expensive tires. The mount and balance guys worked their butts off keeping everything moving and I got out of their fairly quickly. The truck rides so smooth now and the tires look great.

This place is a total scam we paid for two new front tires. They replaced two tires but not the front ones. They said it was store policy to only replace the rear Don’t waste your time taking your car to these scam artists.

Commercialized garage,poor service,didnt fix what was wrong,came back 2nd time,now something else,more cost,then THEY broke a pipe and had to fix at THEIR cost but audacity to charge me $35 stall fee! Never again.And if you need repair, go to a mechanic repair garage and service not a Garage in A Box like this!! Not worth the star.You would think after breaking the pipe they would certainly make ammends for poor service ...causing a break and charging me stall fee...really?

Bad management, I arrived for my appt and first thing I heard was manager telling his tech as he THREW the service order towards him, Here call the lady that YOU failed to contact her before you did what you did. He had a short fuse and I ask for his name and ask the Tech for his name. JUAN- mgr, Jesse-Tech. Advised his to not criticize his employee in front of paying customers. He laughed n said yeah ok

Had my oil, air filter, cabin filter, and my tires rotated and it was done in a timely manner. The people working there were very courteous and seem to know what they were doing.

We were out of town when we had a fuel pump issue … we were worked in to get our truck done in a timely matter even on a already booked afternoon. Marie at the counter was friendly and easy to talk to … I read some previous negative reviews and pleased to say our experience was great overall !!!

Marie G, the person behind the counter assists with helping them SCAM CUSTOMERS!! She always orders the wrong parts. Or so they say. I needed my rear brakes replaced and she comes and tells me I might need my rotors replaced and if so, should she give the go-head to do so. I told her that if they needed to be replaced, I WANT THE OLD ROTORS after service was complete. Always ask for old parts when new parts are replaced so the mechanic doesnt screw you over. Well, it turns out I didnt need new rotors. I ended up waiting 8 hours for my truck to be fixed. I used a $40 off coupon and it was not applied. I had to go back the next day to have it removed by Corey the service manager. His phone number is at the top of the service report but he never answers. Drive down there and confront them. Dont bothering making an appointment either! My appointment was for noon. They close at 6pm and I ended up staying till 7:40pm! Im calling your corporate office too. No apology for the long wait. No discount for the screw up on the wrong part and trying to be sneaky and not applying a coupon that I had. Nothing but morons work there!

Came in on Tuesday to do an inspection. Was told that they do not do them on Tuesday or Thursday. Very poor customer service, no apology or request to come tomorrow. No sign or hours indicating this BS rule. Very disappointing. I would have made other purchases as well. Lost this customer. Sad.

I took my bmw for an alignment. Happy to pay the $120 for the job. Pep boys calls me an hour later stating they will charge me an additional $40 to tighten tie rod bolts. I agree.Next day, I find out the boots on the steering rackRods were left twisted to a point where they are stretched out and will eventually prematurely wear out or tear. The assistant manager stated it was nothing that could be fixed on their end because adjusting tie rod adjustment doesn’t cause the boot to twist and if they had adjusted them, they would have to cut them and tie them with a zip tie. How difficult would that have been? Even if they wouldHave charged extra, I would prefer that charge over a terrible excuse. This pep boys location has a low satisfactory rating for a reason, should have paid more attention to to the reviews.

Made an appointment online for an oil change nothing more and showed up 10mins prior. Check-in was fast but waited for 2 hours to get my car serviced. This is the slowest oil changed I have ever experienced. There is no point in making an appointment either they dont stay on schedule. I will not be returning.

Very nice staff. Incredibly customer service oriented! I needed some TPMSs and tires. I had a few issues dealing with the online services, but this store and its people, made sure the issue was handled! Thank you so much for getting my issues resolved, and my new tires on before Christmas!!! If you need tires you cant find a better place for true customer service!!!

I had to wait over 3 hrs to get a simple oil change even though the car was a rental car and the manager of the rental company said we are in a hurry to the airport in another city.

I love it here they go above and beyond, and take care of my vehicle likes its their own! I love coming here to have my vehicles fixed! I love the car shows on saturdays i would very much reccomend this place! Also you can get some good deals here!

Went to get a nail removed from my tire. Everyone was super friendly. It was done within a couple hours and they did it for free. Awesome service!

I went to Pep Boys today to get one of the battery terminals on my Toyota Tacoma replaced because it had a crack in it. There was nothing wrong with my battery when I got there - I know this because I had my truck serviced at the dealer 3 days before and the battery checked out with no issues(see invoice) I also have a T-Mobile sync device which gives me stats on my vehicle performance including battery condition(see snapshot).It was in good condition & consistently over 12.5V up until Pep Boys crew tested it when they changed the battery terminal. Their test showed that it failed & and dropped from 12.8V to 10.5V.I really had no choice but to buy a new battery from them on the spot because if they did something to the battery to cause it to fail, Id be screwed once I left the parking lot, and I probably couldnt get my truck to start the next morning.THEY REALLY PULLED A SCAM ON ME!!!

Id drive there and a employee would be there right by the phone and then theyd say the same thing. Theyre under staff and its a 3 hour wait and they dont take appointments. Ive gone there multiple times through the years for my life time service I paid for and its the same at this location.

Well I made a 10:00 appointment on line and got an email verification. When I got there they refused to honor my appointment and told me they were taking walk ins only. What? I waited over 2 hours. A lot of unhappy customers were there at the same time. Oh. And my $69.00 oil change ended up being $105.00.

It was raining this morning when I got to the service center. The store was completely empty.There were no cars in the bays with everybody at the counter except one person sitting in the middle of all the bays. After telling the front counter people that I had previously contacted them to have the front end of my truck looked at, they refused with the reason given because it was raining. I then replied and said so you wont even look at it? I was then told they would not. I will take my business elsewhere.

Went in with extreme limited amount of money. They gave me a discount to less than what I had and still got $30.00 back. Needed a battery ....like 6 months ago.... Just like everyone to try to stretch it to it wont go any further. Step D and her boyfriend use car for out of town ( often), trips. I was in and out in an hour. Great quick service.

We went looking for seat covers. They were kind of pricey. But we did find a tool set at a reasonable price. And the cashier was really friendly.

Got my car inspected,was ready sooner than they said, great job

On a road trip, I stopped here last night when my battery wouldn’t hold a charge. On the phone, they said they couldn’t get to checking it until near 8pm, but would check it that night before close. I got there at 5:30 and they had it done by 6:30! Great!But, I needed an alternator replaced and they couldn’t do that until “First thing in the morning” and it would take two hours. They open at 7:30AM. I called at 8:00AM and they said the guy to replace the alternator wouldn’t be in until 9 and it would take two hours. At 10:30 they said he was working on it and it would take two hours. It was finally done at 12:50, a full 3 hours after the first estimate of 2 hours. They do not rush. So be prepared for delays.

Great mechanics. But watch out the service guys all work on commission so getting a large estimate is common. But the quality is second to none and they price match plus 5% off any competitor price. Also its best to drop off your vehicle because wait time have been know to exceed 1hour for an oil change. Over all this is the only place I would take my car. I dont mind the wait and the customer service is great very friendly and fair.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Will no longer take personal or business vehicles there. Service desk did not do what I took the vehicle to do. Told me 2.5 hours for brake job, oil change and tire rotation. Dropped off at 2 pm Saturday. Called at 5pm Saturday and was told they would check on the car and call me back. Move to Sunday at 10am, I drive by and see my car still in the spot it was left. I call and they said it was done. Went to pick it up and all they did was oil change and a brake inspection. Talk to manager. He said he would lower brake job price from $190 to $99. Also lower rotors from $85 to $50. Agreed and left the car again until 5pm Sunday. Went to get the car and price was not as promised. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME THERE. Take it to a business that cares about the customer.

Did a quick job in our need of a tire to be replaced!

We needed tires for our Honda Insight, my wife waited for 3 hours at Walmart for them to tell her they need to order the tires. I called around Pep Boys was the only store that had them in stock. Great price and got a tire alignment for the same cost of four tires at Discount Tire Store. Came back a few days later to see if they could fix our skid plate screw. Louis Solis is the man of the hour. They were jammed with cars. He still took us in right away, put in the needed screws and fixed the plate. To top it off, no cost out the door. WHAT?! Awesome customer service, we need more conscientious people like him. Thank you Pep Boys for everything. You have a new customer for life, because of Louis.

If I could do no stars I would, WORST STAFF EVER I have not experienced someone so rude in the MULTIPLE TIMES Ive come in before. They were immediately rude didnt greet us, asked rudely if we were helped and what we came for and gave attitude when we asked to make an appointment one of the mechanics was shaking his head and rolled his eyes when asked to make an appointment for my tires then denied service when Ive received this service multiple times It was a lady with black short choppy hair and I dont know the mechanic but theyre so rude. I hope you can discuss this with your staff how to give proper customer service.

I called with very short notice to ask for some help reconnecting my tail pipe that I’ve been unable to secure properly. Luis told me to come right in on a Sunday. He and his staff had me in and out in minutes. Kudos to the Pep Boys staff. I’ll use them again soon.

Took the car in with a major problem, needed a new water pump and thermostat/ housing. Louis Solis, Mgr., was helpful and worked with me with the cost and the explanation about the needed repairs. I feel like a valued customer, and will definitely be a permanent customer!

I went to pep boys and will never be back, I used roadside assistance to get there because my valve stem broke on my tire. Just the valve stem. I guess the manager didn’t hear me when he came out ten minutes later to ask me if this was the right key for my car, because I told him they had to push the ignition in before it can be turned over, (newest part on my car) because now I need a switch and lock cylinder.The manager walked out of the store after the valve stem was replaced and told me that they had a hard time starting my vehicle so they left my car running when giving it back to me and I left, only to find out later that I can’t start my car. . Went back and refused to fix the problem because I had went home that day. Won’t go back ever, worst customer service in town. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Very poor customer service. I wouldnt recommend this place for any service.I took my car in to rotate front tire to back and put new tires on front. Told me a certain price.2 hours late (not the 1 hour they estimated), they wanted $30 more than quote. I reminded them of their quote and they kept that promise after they proposed to split the difference. After that, they did a road test, then I drove 1 mile home. Next morning the back tire is flat. The tire had mounting lubricant and new weights on it - not sure why. Clearly they remounted an existing tire and something went wrong. They wouldnt even look at it without giving them another $20. The supervisors quote: thats business.Save yourself some headaches and go elsewhere.

The reason you go to a place like this is because you dont know about cars. So when you have customer service talking down to you because you dont know what you need, it makes you just walk out. Also got a price for a new radiator installed and it was more than 3 times the other 4 other places I called. Would never trust these people with my car.

Has to be the most unorganized & unprofessional place I have ever been to. Called & was told they could get me in. Get there & told 45 min. Over an hour later & the car is up on the lift but nothing done. Ask the tech & he nonchalantly claims he had no paperwork so he didnt know what to do. This is while hes on the computer. Had them bring the car out & I left. Tech asks, while getting out of my car, if I would come back again. I get better service at Minute man.

Long story short: never go here.Made an appointment for oil change & transmission fluid change. The lady said they could do both over the phone.Show up for the appointment, and the manager looks at me like I’m crazy when I say I’m there for a transmission fluid change. “We don’t do transmissions I don’t have a guy that can do that”. I’ll go somewhere else, simple mistake. No big deal, I just asked for my oil change then I’d go somewhere else for transmission.An oil change for my very common 4 year old American car ran me $130. They didn’t even rotate my tires, or fill them with air. I was told that I have “nitrogen in the tires and they can’t be filled with air” 🤦🏻‍♂️ the air we breathe is over 80% nitrogen. Nitrofill is fine being mixed with regular air. The mechanic treated my car poorly, damaging the driver side front bumper by recklessly pulling it in and out of the garage. He didn’t even tell me about the part that fell out of my A/C compressor onto the undercar shield. He just put it back on the shield and closed it without replacing it so I was without AC for a while.

Wider selection of general and performance parts available in store over any other brick and mortar stores in town. Staff are helpful and relatively knowledgeable.

Bought a used car a few days ago wanted to get everything inspected on it make sure there were no surprises waiting for me to find.Waited for 2 hours before finally asking for a ride home as they hadn’t even taken the car to the bay to get looked at yet. Finally after another 2 hours they called me and said there was a major oil leak and I had to urgently replace my entire braking assembly everything from the rotor to the pads. They estimated $1700 for the leak and $850 for the brakes which right away let me know they were trying to rip me off.I told them to not do anything and wait until I was there, but this time I brought my father in law that knows much more about cars than I do. We took one look at the car and could tell right away they exaggerated( and that’s an understatement) on the brakes. Three of them were perfectly fine with the front drivers side being a bit worn out but we can take it to O’Reileys to get it flipped and put it through a machine that cleans and buffs it for less than $30.The oil leak was also grossly over exaggerated. When they were asking me for permission to work on it they made it seem as if it would blow up at any minute, but it turned out to be the slowest leak you’ve ever seen and only looked like a lot because going 70 on the freeway when it drips makes it splash and look a lot worse than it really was. All we had to do was buy the sealant you put right into your oil and if the leak is small enough that’ll seal it right up for $8.I know car places try to rip people off but this is borderline criminal I won’t ever be going to this store or any other pep boys and I hope you won’t either. Please do your research and get a second opinion I saved thousands of dollars by ironically NOT letting them work on my car.

Took my car to get my brakes fixed and at first they said it would be $150 and have to leave my car there. Next day they called and said it was going to be $600 dollars! Finally my husband called them and they lowered it to $300. I will NEVER come here again!

Worst service ever! I took my car for a simple inspection. They said they were busy and it would be a while, so I said no problem Ill leave the car and pick it up later. By the next morning I still had not received a call, so I called them. I was told that apparently I left the wrong key. However, they wrote the wrong phone number down so they were unable to get a hold of me. So, I went to drop the correct key off, then Im told that they dont have anyone there to do the inspection. I went back 2 days later and was once again told that the technician was not there.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. They diagnosted a front end problem that needed ball joints and control arms and more THIS would have cost me over 1400$. I got a second opinion and a third opinion and my front end was JUST FINE and all the above WAS NOT NEEDED!!!THEY ARE A COMPLETE AND TOTAL RIPOFF. THEY are NOT to be trusted. BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU HAVE TO GO HERE. They just ARE NOT AT ALL HONEST!!!

It was a nice and sunny day in our road trip, after being stranded in the heat at Dollar Tree, we stop by at this place to have the car being fixed again, so thank you for taking care of us, we appreciate it.

Got an exhaust tip for my 87 Honda and, sure enough, it added the extra 43 horsepower I needed to beat all the bullies who throw uncooked rice at me when I cruise the streets. Opened the exhaust up real good with backpressure. Now Im the one with the rice!!Also picked up some Sea Foam for my windshield wipers. They work better than ever!

First of all when I went to pick up my car, the girl at the front desk was taking her sweet time flirting with the costumer in front of me who she appear to have known. When I finally was attended I proceeded to go home when I heard this loud noise and I knew something wasnt right. I turned back to see what was going on.. the top was not closed properly on oil had spilled out. They took my car back to clean it up but did not clean it properly and did not replace the oil that was spilled.

We always look out for their deals when service is due on our cars. Never had problems, we schedule an appointment and they get us right in and out.

Went to get a tire repaired on Friday morning at around 8:20 the gentleman on the tire counter responded to me quite abruptly before any suggestion of what I should do by telling me he wouldnt be able to help me until after 10:00 so I proceeded to Discount tire and left at 10:30 with 4 new tires.

I know very good mechanic that works here and he is very good at his job

This place sets a 9:00 a.m. appointment. I arrived twenty minutes early gave the female attendant my name and only to be told that there was no appointment scheduled. She walks away and goes into the store to chit-chat with other fellow employees. Two customers arrived after I did and she attended to them, totally ignoring me. This person did not attend to me until 9:01. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Lousy customer service. Why does management hire employees with no people skills. These employees are greeting the public and getting paid to do a job. Without consumers they would be out of a job and on the welfare line. HR screen your applicants and Management get these people trained.

It’s a very well maintained place, just the wait can be long, about 4 hours for an oil change crazy. But I mean other than that it’s still a 5 star store.

Outstanding customer service!! It was a Friday night one hour before closing time 3 cars ahead of me and Andrew the assistant manager went out of his way to fix my flat tire!!! Came for a state inspection, was told to come back one hour from then. Came back an hour later, and was rudely told that the inspection printer has been down for two days, and they had no knowledge of the guy previously telling me to come back.

Very bad experience. Went in for a basic tire install and alignment. They installed the tires at $10 per tire and $15 per tire to balance them. I also had them diagnose a rattle. I then got a phone call from them saying that my struts and CV Linkages were bad and that they werent physically able to align my car and that is what was causing the rattle. They wanted to charge me $1,100 to repair those so I opted out of it, skeptical because they were pushing it and explaining that the parts were discounted so I should do it now. Upon taking it to another shop for a second look, they were able to align the car no problem and said the rattle was a bat Cat Converter... will never go to Pep Boys for any vehicle service again. They will lie to you and push you to replace items that do not need replacing.

Worst service ever-i went to get a vehicle inspection and waited for 10 minutes before i was even asked what i needed. Mind you there was no one in line. After employee asked me what I needed employee told me it was going to be a 3 1/2 hour wait. Dont waste your time there.

Waited 3 hours on a one hour estimate to have two right tires replaced. asked them to rotate them so the tread wouldn’t be so lopsided. they refused and said, they don’t do that. that’s not mentioning the 8+ hours i waited when purchasing the tires originally WITH an appointment. only came back cause i had road hazard warranty. can honestly say, this will be the last time here.

They have stepped up to make up for my initial problems Im on return 2 and so far everything is better than my initial trip. Seems short staffed but I am sure it was an everywhere issue as this weather is hurting every one even myself.

Being a female is almost intimidating when going to an auto shop but Pepboys and the people at this store made my experience all the better. Jeremy did a fantastic job holding the fort down. He bounced between the shop and the phone lines and got my car out by himself fast. I felt bad for the guy as I could tell he was very shorthanded and seemed to manage everything pretty well.

One of the worst vehicle experiences Ive had. I waited about 6 hours for an oil change. I kept getting quoted different times. Every time I called I was told it was going to be 2-3 hours. They finally took my car back and, it was another hour before they even started it. Took my entire afternoon and I had to cancel my evening plans because my car was not finished. I will never go here again.

Horrible. At 7:30 a.m. I made a 4:00 appointment through the online appointment maker to just have a nail removed from a tire and patched. Arrive just before 4 and am told that even with my appointment, I have to wait at least 2 hours before they can do the patch. He said I should have called to make the appointment. I said that if thats the case then the shouldnt have an online appointment system. After getting very upset with them, they took my car back right away, had it for 15 mins (typical amount of time for the repair) and brought it back up front. Gave me my keys and said it was no charge. I go look, and the nail was still in the tire! So basically, they just wanted me to think they did something so Id leave. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!

We had a very long wait. We were there for a flat tire 2x in the same week. they supposedly fixed the tire but the plug came out and the ad says fast tire service. So wrong!! Be prepared to wait!
