Never go buy your tacos at this place because apart from being expensive youre only going to get a slap in the face. To start the tortillas are from the pack and out of one taco you wouldnt make two. Your are better taking your $7 two blocks in either direction and get a real taco.

First of all...their Website says they open at 6am and this is incorrect(opens at 7am). I got here at 6:30am; didnt want to drive back 20 mints so I decided to wait. On top of everything; worker or cashier didnt get here till 7:06am so I had to wait till they were ready to open the door. She didnt even give me an apology. When I mentioned to her the info on their web, she just said that she have been working 2 yrs and they have always open at 7am...to me it sounded sarcastic.Im not from the area so I have to try to get info from Web or by phone.When I got the two products I needed, I went to the register to pay; cashier was not there and had to wait 2 more minutes; she gave me the total and I paid; I didnt get a thank you or a have a nice day.I feel that with this attitude it seems that maybe Corpus dont have that many places with Spanic products and this is why they just dont care what kind of service they give to their clients...in other words; they take advantage of people needs because in reality they are the only place!

Pretty good 👍Actually had some really competitive prices on produce.Dont gouge you in any way, really.Check out is a little slow but, better a slow check out than higher prices for more cashiers. It balances out.

This place is horrible!!! I paid 11.00$ for a regular size menudo and they gave me half of a big spoon of food and the rest menudo juice that had way to much color in it. Do not go there if you want good service and food!

Relatively clean store. Great pastry selection as well as very good variaty of groceries. Will have to try some fresh cheese one day. Also carries good produce but prices for avocados 🥑 for example a bit more expensive then in Walmart.

The whole experience left me with a bad taste. The guy at the meat counter wanted to give me twice what I asked for like I wasnt going to notice the price! The girl at checkout tried to tell me the price was correct cause she couldnt reverse the charges amount or she didnt know how.

They didnt have what I was looking for, but in general terms is OK, and their meat department is really good.

Do not eat the food here.A coworker and I grabbed the premade plates for lunch and both of us were sick to our stomach. The food here is not kept up to health standards.Again, another coworker gave the tamales a try and she has been sick to her stomach for a few days now.Stay away.

Been a regular there. When you want cuts of meats like ox tail for mexican caldo or chicharones. They also have carnitas and barbacoa that are awesome. So if your looking for an authentic mexican shopping experience without crossing the border its pretty close

Showed up at 815pm and the line in the meat area was long, I figured it was all due to a rush but turns out not to be the case. It was just a slow process they have. Also the meat I got was like they sliced a 12 inch piece of meat off the cows back I had to cut thinner and into portions, other then that theeat was good

The Store is great. the problem is entering and exiting the front door. The people on the scooter chairs are causing problems. 1) it is nice of them opening the door for customers. Yet, they shouldnt be there because they can be harm the customer exiting. 2) they should not be asking for money, those individuals receive their disability monthly check. 3) It is so nice of them opening the door for the customers, but the petals of the scooters are very harmful, I was hit by one and I still have the bruise.

The tables in the dining area are always dirty. The food is usually good, but sometimes the flour tortillas are hard around the edges, and a young woman who was serving the food last time I was there wasnt wearing gloves. Everything else is great.

Went in for tacos this morning. They were extremely rude once they realized i didnt speak spanish (except for the cashier) Terrible customer service. But hey, the tacos were good.

Remodeled entrance! Wow, looks clean. Its now harder to order food. Waited in line ten minutes to find out you have to pay first. Nobody speaks English. Not even a little bit. Had to point to get my food. Sad.sad sad.

I have left this place TWICE in a week. Their process sucks...from one line to another and they take waaaay to long. Employees work with no urgency whats so ever. Dont bother going there... They need to re evaluate theIR process for faster service.

Had a very bad incident with the purchase of menudo there.Thank God my son is okay due to the fact of multiple shattered pieces of plastic and plastic were in the menudo.Didnt notivn anything out of the ordinary upon purchasing nor in the process of dumping the menudo in the pot to prepare to cook.Its when it was served to my son and he began to choke on something that had me in panic when my wife and I discovered it was a piece of hard plastic he spit out. After going through the the batch of menudo I discovered there was actually several other pieces of shattered plastic.After notifying an assistant manager on duty I was indeed refunded my money.The manager actually defended the fact the it was nothing that had to do with them and that it may have been from the factory they get their products from. Its a shame that through this whole dilemma I never even got an apology and the question if my son was okay or if anyone else was okay. My money refunded was the last thing on my mind.It was more of the safety and the danger that it posed among other customers.I just hope that no one else was affected by the lack of professionalism by this establishment.

The meat market carries fresh chicken and cuts of beef off all kinds. Raw seafood is also available. The chicharones are maid daily and so are other prepared foods.La carne y el pollo siempre fresco. A female manager & another man (i dont know what his position is) are extremely rude & hostile. Because i have to walk i use a reusable grocery bag same bag i have been using since i moved over here in December. Sunday morning this man decided to express a complaint about this bag by grabbing me by the arm telling me in a poor version of some broken english to put stuff in basket, i pay, i go now. Suddenly i realize he thinks im trying to steal. Embaressed, I quickly apologize and explain about walking, all the while holding my wallet in my hand. Thats when he starts yelling at me to shut up and begins poking me in the chest. I ask for a manager a woman at the register makes knowledge to this request but tells me to wait until shes finished checking out the 4 other customers at he register. Her employee still yelling and placing his hands on me. When she finally comes over and i try to speak she cuts me off and has a conversation in spanish with that man who is being very unprofessional. Then turns to me and says you pay now. Yes but what about how your employee treated me? She tells me that she will call cops. I asked her to please give me the contact information for a supervisor and all she keeps saying is that she will call cops. I feel that this is unexceptable I also feel that it also has to do with the fact im not hispanic. I only say this cause last week the little old hispanic lady using her own grocery bag she brought from home it wasnt any big deal to anyone not even the same manager her rang up the old ladies stuff. I strongly ask do not spend your money with a business who stands for this kind of behavior
