Lots of room for meeting and working as well as some tasty treats and solid coffee/espresso beverages. Staff is attentive and helpful.

Had my first iced Hug in a Mug w/Espresso and OMG I was in heaven! Next day tried the iced Honey Badger and goooood lord I almost drank it in two big sips. Lol. Honestly so delicious. Friendly staff and fast service too. Look forward to trying more!

Great service and variety of coffee, which was delicious. Great place for a study session. It was quiet and tables in the back all have plugs for electronics which is great if you are staying for a while. Also has outside seating. Will be returning!

On my wifes suggestion, we stopped here on our way back to Houston. I didnt go in because it was storming out but from what I could tell business is definitely good. The walk in and Drive through clientele was non-stop the entire time I was outside waiting for my wife to return.We ended up getting a Mocha Frap which is my go-to pretty much everywhere...lol. it was fairly priced at $5. The taste was good but my wife said it was a bit too sweet for her. She actually liked it better after it got watered down a bit.This was our first visit here but not our last. Hopefully next time I can go inside though. Thats the reason I gave 4☆s btw, because I couldnt go inside to get the full experience.

Amazing coffee. Im from NY and we have our fair share of selection, but the flavor is worth the trip!

The coffee was nice and strong, and the barista was helpful in selecting a drink. I really liked the atmosphere, they have soft music playing and have soft lighting as well. They have a few rooms you can sit in as well as an outdoor patio, and lots of places to charge your phone or laptop.

Calm, relaxing atmosphere with delicious coffee... What a combination! Definitely worth a visit. Students its got a lot of outlets so if you want to crunch out that assignment just pop in and put on your finishing touches with a side of their seasonal coffee.

Coffee Waves on Alameda is a great spot. Wide variety of coffee and tea. Coffee great quality. Environment inside is comfortable for business meetings, studying, or just hanging out with friends. Has outdoor seating area as well. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Never a super long wait.

Im obsessed with Coffee Waves on Alameda! Its by far the best coffee in Corpus and the staff is incredible. My favorite drink to get is an iced honey oat milk latte and its so good every. single. time. 10/10 (My favorite barista is Josh DeLeon, he is such a kind soul and very fashionable)

I came with my daughter to this cute little coffee shop. It was mostly filled with college kids - the university is around the corner. Nice selection of drinks & had gelato. First time I had gelato and my daughter loves it. They have free WiFi for the ones studying and live acustic music. If youre over Starbucks, give this place a try!

Open mic night was awesome!!! Great atmosphere to just chill and listen to the blessing of others performing their talents. God is good!!

LOVED THIS LITTLE GEM! The turkey avocado panini has just the right amount of pesto & is so delicious. The iced caramel macchiato with oat milk was so good as well. The staff is friendly & accommodating. Definitely go when in Port A!

The coffee frozen blended drinks were made very well, the scoop of coffee gelato tasted amazing, and the service was just as good. They had some nice looking pastries and sammys on the menu....well try some of those on our next trip.This visit had mixed results. My one scoop of cookies and cream gelato was good but theyve dialed the assortment back to six flavors and coffee wasnt one of them. My wife had a frozen blended drink that turned out well. Our friend got an iced americano......they forgot her order at first, then what they brought her was weak and bitter, she mentioned it and they brought her another stronger but bitterer version....she thought it tasted like it was made from instant. We did a lot of bragging about this place....her order wasnt up to their usual high bar.

I have had Cafe Mocha frappes at Starbucks and at McDonalds. And mind you they dont do a bad job or mocha frappe is there are very good. But the mocha frappe over at Coffee waves is beyond good. You can actually taste the bean. You could taste the roast, practically taste the smoke. It is high quality. It was just excellent. If I could have it every day, I would.

This adorable local coffee shop has delicious coffee & tea. On this visit, my mother was surprised to find gelato on their menu and simply had to try it. She enjoyed her choice and we both left with a delicious treat in hand. The staff is friendly and the facility is welcoming + clean.

Our daughter is visiting and wanted to try a new place for coffee, so we went here for the first time today. She was very impressed and wants to return next time she is in town. We like the ambiance of the place, the many areas to sit and all the plug ins for your devices. The Gelato was good and the coffee tasted like real coffee she said. The prices are about the same as the other well known coffee shop. It is a bit of a drive for us as we live about 35-40 minutes away, but we enjoyed our first time there. The staff was very nice to us also! Go and decide if this place fits your needs. Our daughter would say that it did hers. Have a good day!

Delicious coffee! I had a chai frappuccino with oat milk as a base and an extra expresso shot. My husband had a cortado and everyone here was so kind. Very welcoming environment as well

Best chai Ive ever had. We get a hug in a mug with oat milk and its insanely good. Ive tried chai lattes from other states / cities and it never measures up. We only wish this location was open later.

I would happily give this place 5 stars if the drive thru and parking lot set up was improved. As is, its not a great way to try to get coffee.

Great coffee house with tons of seating, tons of ambience, great patio.I liked my coffee, the price was about average, and the only issue I had was I wish they didnt allow smoking on the patio. When I got there no one was smoking and it was nice, but some smokers came later and I bolted.

Its an amazing stop. Not the tourist place and feels more like a local cozy spot. Affogato was delicious and they had a vegan gelato choices.

Best coffee shop in Corpus. This place was great. I would often come here to meet my friend to play chess. All of the people that worked here were really nice, and I can tell the business cares about the community. Its very close to TAMU-CC which is a plus.

We went for Gelato and had the pistachio and coffee bean Gelato and it was ok.Did not have 1 pistachio in my tall Gelato. My husband had a few beans.We have been to the location in Port Aransas and by far it is the best.We have the Gelato there and many more coffee beans and alot of pistachios.Id drive to that location in Port A anytime.The staff was very friendly and talkative.

I use to be all ABOUT Starbucks every day and then I tried coffee waves and never looked back . I love the hospitality, it feels like Im getting quality coffee from a good friend .

Best java in town, Staff is much more knowledgeable than most coffee joints and very friendly too. Drinks are authentic and prices are good and seem right for the coffee scene in CCTX. Guy this morning suggest his favorite cinnamon latte and it was great

I really wanted to like this place but I didn’t. It had good reviews so we gave it a try but both my dad and I got very bitter coffee. Not smooth and has a slightly burnt taste. I also ordered a blueberry muffin and there was literally no blueberries in it. (They did give us another one though which was nice) all around just very average. I’ll be going to Starbucks.

Very cool and cozy place

We are digital nomads who were traveling through Corpus Christi. We visited here a couple days in a row to get work done. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff friendly, and the WiFi connection strong. The first day we got gelato, which was delicious, and the second day coffee, which was also great -- and the prices were reasonable, to boot! Highly recommended.

Best coffee. I hate going to Starbucks because their “fancy” drinks have little to no caffeine. I can come here and splurge on a mocha frappe for a dessert that still has that coffee taste and caffeine kick. Little disappointed that the other shop in Flour Bluff has cheaper prices though? Wish they were more consistent on prices.

Could not enjoy a good sweet coffee without going here. Was recommended to me by a lot of my associates and was curious but I could understand why it was pretty good. Grabbed a macchiato and some black coffee which is highly recommended, and it has a nice view and little souvenirs if you are traveling.

The best coffee shop in town, hands down, no question. I have been many, many times and have always had a great experience. The atmosphere is cordial and inviting, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable and the food is great. The coffee? The best in town, period.

We went way out of our way to visit this local coffee spot while waiting for the restaurant to open. It was definitely worth the extra drive. My pumpkin spice latte was so freaking good I sucked it down and then proceeded to try and suck all the spices and whipped cream at the bottom through my straw wth gusto!

We really enjoyed our coffee ans scones. Nice place to sit and chat 😊
