Just bought our second round of mattresses from Doug at The Sleep Center on 9th in Corvallis! Were very happy with the low-key informative approach and no pressure. We were really able to take our time and select exactly what we want! Great prices too!

We have purchased our last six mattresses with Doug and his staff. They are all very friendly and helpful making sure we get the right fit for a great night’s sleep. The delivery team is courteous and quick and delivery includes taking the old mattress away. We are happy to know we can count on the same excellent service with the new owners and Doug still on the team.

Really great communication and customer service from all of the sales staff that I had contact with! They were helpful, courteous, and never pressured me into buying any products. They stayed true to their 90 day exchange policy, which I ended up utilizing (buying your first mattress is hard!) and they made that whole process super easy and seamless. Definitely will be back in the future!

Everyone working was incredibly friendly and attentive. The mattress we bought was $400 less than anything we were finding online and so much more comfortable than the foam ones we’ve bought online. We didn’t have to wait either, just got one in stock and left with it.

I owned a bed that was so old and worn out it might as well have been a canoe. It actually took me a few nights to adjust sleeping on a real bed with support, but since then Ive been sleeping like a baby. I went in a couple of weeks ago, said I was looking for something a little more budget-end and mentioned the bed brand/style I had previously owned. The owner showed me the equivalent beds to the one I had (which is what I ended up buying) and actually offered to show me the cheaper ones. I was impressed by the lack of upsell, the good information, and the quick delivery the next morning. Great local guy in a great local business!

I really like the person who was helping us. I didnt get his name but I liked that he was friendly, patient, listened to us, and was overall helpful. We were there to exchange a bed and I felt like he wasnt just trying to sell us a more expensive bed but was actually trying to help us find a bed we wanted.

THE BEST! I never knew mattress shopping could be such a great experience. Karl was so helpful and pleasant. We felt really comfortable with his recommendations and had a blast in the process. He was excellent at honing in on what we were looking for/needed and not pushing any products on us. He was also really straightforward about pricing/the best deal for us. For comparisons sake, we had had a not so great experience at another local mattress shop where the payment process was confusing and frustrating (we ended up having to open an account with a third party for the payment, and closing it took a lot of phone calls/was a headache and the seller was not very responsive/helpful). Payment here was communicated clearly and was super convenient. They were also really accommodating with shipping and let us know theyd be available for any issues/needs post purchase. Highly recommend this spot!!!

I visited the Sleep Center recently and was very impressed. Unlike most mattress stores, it features all the major brands of mattresses in addition to less well-known brands. Options include mattresses that regulate body temperature and frames that raise the head and foot of the bed. They offer good prices and free delivery. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. A local, family owned business.

Went to purchase a bed for our college daughter moving into her first apartment.We were quickly greeted. The gentleman asked what we were looking for, and if we had a price range. He asked our daughter if she had preference on firmness, and spring our memory foam.She did not know, so had her try several to determine firmness, then type.The process was fast and low pressure. He strongly recommended a mattress protector for the foam, and that they may be less expensive elsewhere.

I visited Doug and requested he review his inventory so when I visited later with my wife we can get a new bed picked out. We arrived a few hours later and he walked us through the selections he made, and they were all very nice. His knowledge made it easy to narrow the choice. I was truly blow away when he said we would be sleeping on this new bed that evening, and Dave and delivery staff made it all happen within that hour, WOW!!!Highly recommend Doug and his staff.

I normally dont take the time to leave a review, but this was a wonderful experience that I must share. I live in Phoenix, AZ and my dad lives in Corvallis, OR. This year I decided to get my dad a brand new bed because I know he would never buy it for himself. If you have ever gone mattress shopping you already know how difficult the process can be. Well, shopping for another person is insane. Lucky for me, I called a local mattress store out of Oregon called The Sleep Center. They took care of me every step of the way. Doug and Debbie made the process easy and they helped me choose the perfect bed for my dad. I was able to surprise my dad in the delivery process and The Sleep Center even hauled away the old mattress. The service here is fantastic and I would recommend this store to anyone. If you are ever in Corvallis, OR and you need a new mattress this is the place to go!

Seriously the best experience I could imagine for buying a bed. Doug was super helpful and knowledgeable but not pushy whatsoever to sell me something; just gave me helpful information and plenty of space and time to make up my own mind.He also never tried to nudge me out of my price range, he actually made suggestions well UNDER the price limit I told him.I signed up for delivery the next day (today, less than 24 hours after purchase). The delivery gentleman (sorry I forgot his name!) was so nice and super friendly and funny, and I really felt comfortable (which being female and living alone I don’t always feel with delivery men), and he hauled away my old mattress, all for free. Overall awesome experience, I LOVE the bed I got, I got a nicer mattress and spent less money than anticipated, and I would so highly recommend Sleep Center because it’s the absolute best, and also feels good to spend money locally rather than on Amazon, etc.! (Not to mention my 90-day exchange policy and 15 year warranty that comes with my mattress protector)!

Easily one of the best shopping experiences Ive had in recent memory! Staff was extremely helpful and patient as I tried out a variety of mattresses. If youre in the market for a new mattress I recommend making this your stop.

I bought a king size 2 inch thick Easy Rest topper. Had a problem with it but got great sevice and response. - I called their contact number on the web and immediately got a REAL PERSON on the phone. She was gracious and helpful and I brought the topper back to the store the next day and got a replacement with no trouble - in fact the guys was very friendly and helpful. The replacement is working out just fine. Heres a copy of the letter I sent to thank them copied exactly as is.*************************Hello Jody,I just wanted to follow up with you on my experience exchanging the EasyRest Topper. After I talked to you I called the Sleep Center Outlet Store in Corvallis and they asked me to call you again and ask you to contact their manager to approve the exchange. So I figured I’d take and send the picture you asked for and then ask you to call them. However, about 5 minutes later the store called me back and said the exchange had already been approved! So the next day (Saturday) I took the topper down to the main Sleep Center Store down the street from the outlet and got a very quick and helpful response from the guy who was there, who I believe was Doug Ackland. I showed him the crease in the foam (picture attached for your reference) and told him it wasn’t just the crease in a new topper itself that bothered me but my concern about weakness and future tearing at that spot – and I could feel at least one other crease at the other end of the topper. He said he hadn’t seen that before but said a rep was in the store at the time the guy from the outlet store called to tell him about my complaint - and the rep immediately approved the exchange on the spot. Doug brought out the replacement box and even asked me if I wanted to open it there to check it – I appreciated that but decided to not bother with it. Doug carried it out to the car for me and that was it.The proof of the pudding of course was whether the replacement was better. And I am happy to report that in fact it was just fine – it smoothed out quickly, with no abnormalities. It even seemed to fit somewhat better – and in fact I almost wondered if one issue with the other one was that the cover might have been slightly undersized and squeezed the foam too tightly. At any rate I had been a little concerned that the ridge/crease thing would be “typical”, but certainly the replacement we got was just fine.So in summary, I was very happy with my overall experience – both that a real human being (you) answered the contact phone right away and was friendly, accommodating and helpful, and that Doug Ackland, the Sleep Center store manager was also very friendly, accommodating and helpful.Best regards,Casey
