It takes one bad day, and an unpleasant experience, to ruin an amazing store. Ive been a faithful customer for quite some time now, love the selection and the atmosphere. Most importantly, my son (19 months old) loved going in and walking around to choose a toy monthly. Yesterday, we went in and the individual behind the counter (whom we had never encountered before) decided we were an inconvenience that she couldnt wait to be rid of. Instead of a friendly greeting, she hurried to put on a mask (since she hadnt had one on when we walked in) and then began yelling that we had to put one on in THIS store if we wanted to shop. Now I understand and respect shop keepers who stop a customer to kindly ask if they can mask up because its the rule or whatever excuse they may have, but this was simply rude. She made my boy cry because she yelled and now I honestly dont think Ill be going back. Courtesy and customer service shouldnt end because of COVID. The rules change constantly and we should still show compassion towards one another during this crazy time. I will genuinely miss shopping here.

Wonderfully curated selection of children’s clothing, toys and gear. One of the few places I can find Mayoral, Hatley, and similar brands. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, and go out of their way to help you find just the thing you’re looking for. My kids and I love supporting this local business!

Today we visited the Kid Shop and had an excellent shopping experience. The store was tidy and well organized. Most of the inventory is apparel, but there are some toys and breastfeeding accessories. We purchased 3 outfits, one of them on clearance, for only $32. The sales clerk was friendly and offered suggestions on the merchandise. We will definitely visit this store again in the future.

A smart store holding excellent quality clothes, shoes and toys. Judy was tremendously helpful to us, buying a toddlers first shoes today. Im grateful she was working.

This place is so cute. Definitely a market above our price range, but we stop in once in a while for that head to find/splurge item.

They have a decent selection of kids clothes. I was able to find a sun hat for my little one in a pinch. Apparently Fred Meyer in Corvallis doesnt even have a kids clothing section. Thank goodness this place exists.
