I brought my bike in for a full maintenance/tuneI understood my bike is old(40-50 years old)So they claimed that they wouldn’t be able to do anything for the bike in a reasonable price rangeThree days later the called me in to pick up the bike and charged me $55The claimed that my bike is in a good shape (“after their magical touch”) for school commute and they adjusted the braking and tightened a few screws.The braking pads were the same old ones when i brought in and honestly feels the sameThe pedal crank cotter was miss placed and my left crank began to skip as i pedalSo I brought the bike in, but they only sent me to another bike shop.Worst of all, they didn’t even inflate my back tire for me so I honestly still have no idea where my 55 went into…Update: the owner of the store reached out to me so i will have the rating higher for now

We had been on the hunt for a couple of hard tail bikes for sometime, Covid has made the supply chain a challenge, and was elated to find that Peak Sports had just received a shipment of bikes. The next day, we headed to their bike shop and was greeted by Alex. Very professional, and helpful. Peak had 2 Specialized bikes, exactly what we were looking for, and at the right price point. After a test run, it was a done deal. Alex ran through all the important things we needed to know to get going. Thanks so much Peak Sports. Here is out 2nd outing, a back trail along the Willamette River.

Im very grateful to those who work here. They have been kind and patient with me including leading me to know proper information and helping me understand some technical stuff that Im lacking on. One of the sales representatives named Justin has helped me the most in the sence of guidance and has lead me on the right path way. Had a wonderful experience here with very low pressure sales people that were extremely friendly and Im just so appreciative even though that I came in at the end of the day they spent extra time making sure I was happy with my purchase. They let me ride several different bikes of the specialized brand and I feel helped answer all my questions with good recommendations.

Great people. Service was done 4 days earlier then was initially predicted! Cheaper then the original estimate! Overall best service Ive had at any sports shop.

This is a GREAT bike shop. Stopped there today on my way to Colorado from Astoria, and John figured out and fixed several issues (including a bent hangar!) He also helped fix a pannier because he just wanted to be helpful. Can’t speak highly enough of this quality shop. Will always recommend this LBS.

The art of customer service is alive and well at Peak Sports.Ive been on the hunt for a new full suspension mountain bike. After seeing a craigslist ad for a bike that seemed like a great fit, I went into Peak Sports to check the bike out. The bike fit the description perfectly, but it didnt end up being the right fit for me.An employee there named Justin listened to what I wanted from my bike and what wanted to spend. He spent multiple hours showing me bikes, explaining the differences, and helping me stay in my budget. He even took the time to help me figure out some options on mounting a full suspension bike to my car. I ended up buying a bike and love it.A few month later Justin did something I havent seen in a long time. He mailed me a hand written letter with a personal note inside. Now that is customer service.

Great customer service with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have always done a good job on bicycle repairs as well. They even let my young son try out different bikes in the store. Peak is my go-to place for all my biking/cycling needs!

I had the joy of having a complete bike fitting by Jon at Peak Sports Corvallis on Saturday, October 22, 2016. I had experienced some continuous discomfort in my knee and Jon had been recommended to me by a friend. I cant express how impressed I was by the entire process and by Jon, himself. His knowledge is incredible, and his ability to break a whole lot of technical information down into easily understood bites for me was awesome. This fitting was very comprehensive, detailed and thorough and Jon is the ultimate professional.He made several adjustments to both my bike and my bike shoes which immediately had a positive change in how I felt while riding. Thank you, Jon. You are the man!

Stopped in for a quick visit to try on a pair of gloves they had in stock. Associates was helpful and helped me find some equipment for my swat box. I made a unexpected purchase due to that. Also got to see some TBAR participants getting some repairs.

Upon moving to Corvallis over 10 years ago, I tried all the bike shops and have no real heartburn with any of them.But now Ive gotten two bikes and a ton of gear from Peak and keep going back, to the exclusion of the others.Peaks customer service has been amazing and they always seem able to squeeze me in for a quick repair when needed; and reliably deliver the completed repair on longer ones.A particular shoutout to Gregg, who has consistently taken more than the expected amount of time helping me feel confident in the bike, clothing and gear purchases. He knows his stuff.Also, Jon is an expert bike fitter and worked even the smallest details to tweak the man-machine interface. His explanations of body and bike mechanics really helped me smooth some rough edges.Its great to have an LBS you can count on. Thanks, guys.

We wanted to spend some days in Oregon and thought Corvallis is a good spot to start our daily adventures from. My boyfriend‘s birthday was on the 4th of July and knowing that most of the stores are closed I called Peak Sports and they assured me that they will be open that day. That’s why I made a bike rental reservation for the 4th. Unfortunately we were standing on front of closed doors and looking at a sign saying that all Peak Sports locations are closed. Naturally I was super disappointed that my so well planned surprise couldn’t happen... BUT we made the best out of it and just went hiking instead and planned on rescheduling the mountain biking for another day during our stay in Corvallis. I called first thing in the morning of July 5th and I explained the situation. The man on the phone was honest and told me that it was him I was talking to about a month ago and that he literally remembered on the morning of the 5th and that he feels horrible about it. He apologized plenty of times and hoped that we had a good day either way. Also, he offered right away to reschedule if we were still in town (which was the case) and so we did. Once we got to the store on the 6th we experienced an amazing service. One employee took care of us and made sure the mountain bikes are perfect for our weights and sizes and checked the air and suspension and so on. We got a lock and helmets, a map and some ideas for trails. When I asked if we had to pay later he just said that we are good to go and that this is on the house for the miscommunication. We were surprised (only in the best way of course) as we didn’t expect that at all. So thank you Peak Sport for an amazing customer service. I’d recommend them any time. Waiting for our bikes getting ready we saw a lot of people walking in and out and they were all treated really friendly and professionally.

Friendly people and a good selection

The first time i went here i was happy with the service so i returned a second time to get my bike axle fixed. It got bent in a crash and i talked to the service people and they quoted me $45 to replace it and have them install a new one. All they ended up doing was straightening the axle and charging me $45 for that. My friend in portland said he could have done it for $15, so i got ripped off big time... I will not be returning.

I sent my bike in for repairs and it needed a custom headset. They told me it would take 2 weeks and the Wednesday that the bike was supposed to be done I received a call telling me that they forgot to order the headset and that it would take another 2 weeks. It wasnt the error that bugged me but the fact that I did not receive an apology for the error. When I received my bike the repairs were excellent and the bike rides great but it was the lack of apology that bugged me.
