I am happy my task didnt have more complications, and it was just a replacement of my front bumper; I trust them because I bought my car from Infiniti AutoNation.*Their communication is zero; *Their professionalism is zero, *Their commitment to their word is zero; Their *Their punctuality is zero.Delivery time jumped from a max of 10 days to 30 days (They were not open to compensate the cost of a rental car for the delay they caused). They did all job all in the last week after I had followed the job visually; otherwise, delivery could have taken them longer- My brand new car was left with a greasy hand mark inside of my car.- Estimate jumped from 7k to 8k, then 9kUpdate:After 3 days, my front radiator splash protector, which was supposed to be an OEM part and new has been fall off as picture (after checking, There was just one screw which I could open with my hand as it was not tight enough, guess what!!! you are right they didnt tight screws or didnt put screws). I was lucky this didnt happen on the highway as I could roll over if it went under my car. I would discuss this with Infiniti to see why they certified this center as having such quality, and I just trusted their certification.There is also a gap as my bumper was probably not installed by AutoNation Collision Center.

My Toyota Sienna was purchased from Autonation Irvine. this collision center in Costa Mesa is (unfortunately) contracted with Autonation. the front end of my vehicle was repaired there. the work seemed OK at first, but after about 2 months, issues started to present themselves. the mechanic apparently forgot to connect the hose for the windshield wiper jets, because they didnt work when I needed them to (very scary to have windshield wipers smearing dead bugs all over your windshield instead of cleaning it) and no, the washer fluid wasnt empty. I took it back to the center and yes, they fixed it. unfortunately another issue presented itself as the weather began to warm up. the front bumper wasnt staying connected to the front fenders as it should. it started to pop out along the seams. I was able to push it back into place but called the collision center about the issue. they said, just bring it back (again) and well fix it. I explained that I live in Dana Point and that its not easy to keep bringing the vehicle back there. They said, just bring it in whenever you can and well fix it. it wasnt a safety issue, so I brought the vehicle in during my next vacation. when I showed the issue to the service person, he immediately tried to point blame saying I must have hit something, because theres a few scratches on the underside of the the bumper. I explained that wasnt the case, that these are just normal wear and tear scratches from parking in stalls and such. regardless, this type of wear and tear would/should never cause the bumper to come loose from the fenders. it never happened during the 4 years I drove the vehicle before the front end was repaired, so its definitely not a coincidence that it happened right after the vehicle was repaired by this collision center. long story short, the service manager agreed to try and see if his mechanic could tighten things up to get the bumper to line up correctly again. when I got it back the seams looked fixed and the service guy said, yes, they were able to fix it. I was doubtful but was hopeful. by the time I drove home to Dana Point, the bumper was popping out on both sides again.. I called and left a message with the service manager. its been over a week now and he still hasnt called me back. Long story short, even though the work done here is supposedly warrantied for the life of the vehicle, these guys do not do a good job and do not stand behind their work. Obviously I cannot recommend these guys. God help you if you bought your vehicle from AutoNation Toyota and need it repaired through them.

In November 2020 I took my Camry 2020 to get the bumper and door damage fixed and it resulted in horrible paint services. The manager of this location was unprofessional and rude . I was told that the company would only repaint the bumper . The manager began to raise his voice as he became frustrated and angry. I was told that this location had a previous customer with a $70,000 Porsche that complained about his paint job and nothing was done for that customer. This type of statement should not have been made and clearly shows the lack of professionalism, communication skills and customer services. The color did not match my original paint color and there were many visible imperfections. As a customer I felt completely scammed and they made it clear that my concerns and disappointment with their work did not mater . I’m glad I contacted the regional manager and was finally able to get the whole paint job redone. The regional manager was professional and definitely offered better customer service/ professional communication. After the second paint job was done, I know for a fact that the Costa Mesa location really did a horrible paint job on my new car . This experience was a nightmare. I was not offered any replacement vehicle while my car was in the shop for the mistake this company did on my vehicle. I definitely would not recommend this location. ( the only reason I chose Auto nation was because Toyota has this company as a reliable body repair shop ) This company would not admit to their mistake and gave lost of reasons/excuses for the paint job that was provided . I have photos to prove that the first paint job was not at a professional level and many people noticed that my vehicle had two different colors. Sad to say that this company has definitely has made me more cautious and skeptical about body repair shops . I will definitely look at more reviews next time before choosing a repair shop .

Eight weeks after receiving my new car I was involved in a sandwich collusion which I was in the middle. There was extensive damage to my rear passenger side. AutoNation Collusion in Costa Mesa, CA had my car for seven weeks. The repair was excellent. No complaints. I liked it so much that when I recently had some front in damage to my car while it was unattended I took it back to them for repair. The results were the same, excellent work.

A one week estimate turned into 3 weeks. They would tell me they’re waiting for insurance, but the insurance would tell me they’re waiting for them for details. Cycled back and forth several times. I was also given 3 different dates to pick up my car. Good thing I called each time to see if it was actually ready. After all that time, the paint job was still poor. You can feel a bump where the impact was and see a faint line where the crack was.

I was in a minor fender bender.I decided to go to Autonation to get the car looked at. I was helped by Marlene Lara (Collison Estimator). She provided excellent customer service and a quick turn around.My car now has a brand new bumper. The car bumper came with a lifetime warranty on the paint in case the paint chips or bubbles.I highly recommend taking your car to Autonation Collison Center if you are looking for repairs to your car.Thanks again for your perfect and timely customer service Marlene Lara!

I came by to get my car fixed with over $5000 of damage to my vehicle. When I arrived in the lobby which was very large there was only one person there and she said her name was Denise and that she was the office manager and was not able to help me. She said she would try to get someone to help me and to hold on as the phone rang. She picked up the phone and began a conversation at links with another person on the other line. I went outside and made a few phone calls and went to my car and tried to reach a few other repair shops because I wasn’t really very happy with the attention I was getting here. When I came back in 10 or 15 minutes later Denise was still on the phone and talking about her kids in the military and that she felt a connection with the other person on the line with their kids in the military and went off on a tangent I have a personal matter. At this point she completely ignored me as I stood there in front of her. This is a very unprofessional experience and I will never come back to the shop and have taken my business somewhere else.

AutoNation did a fantastic job on repairing my vehicle. They talked me through my options and found the most economical way for me to get my vehicle repaired. My car was repaired in the timeframe quoted as well as the repair cost was as quoted with nothing additional added after the work was done. I highly recommend them.

I had a very good experience working with Gregg Marcucci at AutoNation. My vehicle had been vandalized and he made sure everything was done properly and in a timely manner which is not an easy task during this time of Covid. My truck is older, so parts were harder to find, but he was able to accomplish the task. My insurance agent told me repeatedly that I had chosen a good location because Gregg did everything to keep the costs as low as possible which benefits the insurance company as well. I highly recommend AutoNation.

Would give this place no stars if possible. The staff is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful but they are good at lying and blaming everyone else for their lack of professionalism. They were over two weeks late returning my car after a repair from collision. They blamed ford for not sending the parts, for taking too long to send parts and later for sending the wrong parts. They also blamed the insurance company for paying late which was untrue. They amended their estimate three times. They never returned phone calls and promised things they did not deliver. To make things worse, the car now makes sounds it never made before. Will never take car there again nor recommend this place to anyone

I’ve used them and revered others because the service is fantastic. They even did extra repair at no additional cost. Do t let the insurance company (Geico) make you feel you need to use their appraisers who will low ball the cost of repair and you won’t have enough money to make the repairs when you find your shop if choice.

Absolutely terrible customer service!!To start, I received over six calls asking when I would be bring in my vehicle even after I confirmed the date and time with multiple people while scheduling the appointment. They even called me while I was driving to drop off the car, asking if I was there yet. This apparent concern for timing will come across all the more ironically once you finish reading the rest of this review.I waited a week to drop off my car for repair after I received the estimate, with the understanding that they would have all the parts in stock by the time I dropped off my car. We agreed to this over the phone when scheduling the appointment, because I dont have the luxury of just giving up my car for weeks waiting for parts. I dropped off the car on that following Saturday, and did not receive a call from anyone until Tuesday. When I did receive a call I was told that the insurance adjuster had just come in and they were ordering the parts now. YET, THEY ALREADY TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD ORDERED ALL THE PARTS, AND THAT THEY WERE IN STOCK, WHEN I CONFIRMED WHAT TIME I WOULD DROP OFF MY CAR!?! Were the parts a complete lie or did they use them on another vehicle? We can never know for sure.I called back on Wednesday asking when the repairs would be complete and I was told definitely by Thursday but no later than Friday. I was told they would drive my vehicle back to Irvine on Friday (where I dropped it off) and I could pick it up on Friday. I was also told I would definitely receive a call on Thursday to confirm all of this.I did not receive a call on Thursday, and when I called Friday morning I was told it was still being worked on and ... AND THAT THEY WERE WAITING FOR MORE PARTS TO ARRIVE?!?! They did not complete the work till end of day Friday and told me it was too late to pick it up in Irvine and the earliest they could get the car to Irvine would be Tuesday. The only other option was for me to pick it up in Costa Mesa on Saturday morning.They lied multiple times about the parts, and then made me have to find transportation to Costa Mesa on Saturday to pick up the vehicle despite saying that I would be able to pick it up on Friday in Irvine. They were completely unaccommodating, rude, and unprofessional. They did not meet the commitments they set with regards to the timing or pickup location of the vehicle. The quality of the body work is fine, but the experience left a very bad taste in my mouth and I would avoid doing business with this dealership again in the future.Please believe that Toyota will be hearing about this when they send me their survey.

I totally agree with these last reviews from other customers. I had to get updates by calling them or insurance company. My car had small damage and they didnt fix it within estimated time frame. Whenever I called they told me parts are ordered. Car was returned later than expected with no update. Also, these guys are not good. When I picked up my car, I dont know how but 100 miles were used since I left my car just to fix small damage.Never go this location. I would personally do not recommend to anyone.

I had my car for less than a month before I was rear-ended. I did extensive online research choosing a body shop as I wanted to get the utmost Toyota brand quality. I ended up choosing Auto Nation Toyota in Irvine who in part works with Auto Nation Collision. The drop off and service experience on Toyota’s part was great, but Auto Nation Collision was a different story. Communication was limited and the work exceeded the initial approximation timeline. I had no problem with the timeline not being met as my main concern was for the my 4Runner to be fixed to factory new condition. After a week or two I received my car and had a moment of panic. There were a handful of careless and sloppy errors. A plastic cap was missing off the the door latch. There was white paint on where paint had no business being. Small scratch at the end of where the bumper was reattached to the body and the worst offense in my book was gaskets the seal the cargo area were not put back properly. It was not until I was unloading item from the cargo area that I notice the gaskets coming off. Again my car is only 2 months old at this point. The only thing I’m thankful for is that it was such minimal work I needed done. I couldn’t imagine the work they do to vehicles that need more extensive work. Auto Nation Collision left a sour taste and I would NEVER consider going back or recommending them.

I brought my 2013 Honda CRV to the collision center after it was rear ended.Setting up the appointment was easy and AutoNation was able to coordinate with the insurance agency to for additional repairs discovered after the primary inspection.Overall the process was straight forward and the car was repaired back to its original state.The only drawback was the communication during the repairs. The collision center never contacted me during the ~14 days it was in the repair shop and I would need to call once a week to understand when things were going to be ready.

The initial visit and quote was professional and was given a 3-4 repair. Well on the fourth day my vehicle wasnt ready and I was already paying for a rental out of my own pocket. I wasnt happy that no one contacted me through out the entire process. I had to make several phone calls to check on the status. Well something happen to my bumper during the repair process and delayed my pick up date. I wasnt able to pick up my vehicle until 6 days later. The representative was not at all apologetic or my review would be higher. Its all about customer service and I was not happy. He didnt even offer to pay for the extra days for the rental. I had to insist. My van looks great, but it took longer than I was told and the customer service was not great.

The repairs on my new Ford Explorer were excellent but the repair shop rushed to return my vehicle to the AutoNation Collision center and didnt properly clean my new Ford Explorer 2017But I was compensated by Sarah for my time to return and had my vehicle completely detailed that was really amazing sparkling shiny outside and the interior beautiful when I returned to pick my Ford Explorer!And also Sarah provided me a vehicle with no charge!I commend Sarah for her excellent service and a great employee!!!Thank you Sarah!!Tom Yoro

This shop is an absolute joke. Never communicated. I had to get updates by calling them. Didnt listen to instructions. Car was returned later than estimated with no update. Car was returned with a non-functional tail light, pronounced overspray, and clear coat damage. Bunch of incompetent fools. Do not trust them. Im going to a different shop to fix what this shop caused.

Just picked my vehicle up from Power Toyota in Irvine. It was sent to AutoNation Collision Center in Costa Mesa for a rear bumper replacement. I would give the quality of the repair 5 stars. Too bad the customer service at the Costa Mesa facility was not 5 stars. It wouldnt have taken much to satisfy me. Simply do what you say you are going to do - call to tell me the repair will or will not be complete today, so that I can coordinate return of my rental car. Or, simply answer the phone. Or dont keep transferring me to voicemail if the person I need to speak with is not available. Please dont tell me that you are with another customer (apparently a more important customer) and that the only person that can help me is not available.

My Infinitt Q50 needed bumper repair. I called Auto Nation Collision center and spoke to Rick. If I was able to give a higher score I would. Rick was kind, very competant, great conversationalist, caring, a gentleman and knew what he was talking about. Rick and Peter stayed in touch with me. I received my car back and in beautiful shape. Worst service ever!! they never call you back to fllow up on the repairs they have lost my key, i had to call to find out if my truck was ready some guy said yes is ready i was on my way I got a ride there (30 mins away) half way and i got a call saying my truck wasnt ready they had given me the wrong info my truck needed to stay one more week.a few days ago I noticed the repairs were not done and parts were glued with epoxy glue (really epoxy) i called left a message for the manager 1 week ago and still waiting for a response, no call back i have left messages with the operator that assure me he would call me back (poss screening his calls) becasue he was on another call and nothing. I really have to be chasing them down to get the repairs done at this point Im really iffy of taking my truck back to them I dont even know what more then can break. This is a 2017 2yrs old i would give them negative 5 stars but i guess thats not an option. this is very frustrating Im about to go to the collition center every day and just get a week off from work to see if atleast get an answer by being there so they can hear me out. I really dont want to get to that point or take my time off to deal with this. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. PLEASE DONT GO THERE THEY ARE HORRIBLE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, (i dont think they know what is that) they answer the phone saying yup! or yeah!! (shoudl of been a hint not to go there)

The sheet metal protecting my engine completely fell off of my new civic without any explanation. I was slowly exiting a parking area, when I heard the bottom section of my car crunching against the asphalt. The whole thing was dragging against the ground and not drivable. I had my vehicle towed to autonations service area. I explained to one of the service men what happened, and he said what do you want me to about it? and then proceeded to walk away. I was confused, as if this wasnt his job? I flagged him down again, and then he referred me to my sales person, who was just as baffled as I was as how he was a part of the solution in this problem. From there I was able to get the help of a person from the body shop. While he was the only one polite enough to actually speak to me in a helpful manner, Honda claimed the warranty did not cover the damages even though clearly this was some sort of defect on the cars part- as there was no collision and nothing that the car hit. Most likely the screws or latches were not done up properly during the cars assembly. Both the tow driver, another mechanic, and the Honda sales people I spoke with made the same remarks and were mystified as how the part would come off like that, even had something on the road hit it. I could not reccommend this service department to anyone after the rude service I experienced unfortunately, and am rather disappointed in Autonation and Honda for their poor standards in quality.

I had a collision damage on my Toyota. I sent the car to this body shop because the address is at Toyota dealership. It gave me an impression that it is affiliated with Toyota dealer. BIG mistake. It is not related to Toyota. It took more than ONE month to repair a minor damage.Do not send your car to this shop. It will take forever to get your car back.
