I have brought my company vehicles here and the owner and team are top notch! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I brought my latest truck to them and said this is what I am trying to accomplish and the owner said he knew exactly what was needed and I left the truck, they sent an estimate later that day and had all the work done in 3 days. It was impressive and the truck turned out perfect. I highly recommend them!!

I’ve taken my GX470 in twice now to Saddleback. First was to have the secondary air inj system diagnosed (ended up having to replace the system) and the second time was to fix the AC (blew hot air, they had to take off the entire dash and replace the exchange core).Adam runs a reliable shop. Professional and his mechanic (Victor) was very communicative, called me frequently to give status updates or notify of any unexpected diagnostics. The place always seems busy so don’t expect to drop your car off and get it back the next day. The time they spend on your car is thorough, though.

First of all, Adam was on top of things as he managed the repair of my engine and suspension. My dad’s car engine wiring had all been eaten by rats and it was a total disaster! Of course, Allstate Insurance made it a struggle and prolonged the repair process but Adam always got straight to the point and explained both the insurance process and exactly what needed to be repaired.At the end, my dad’s car engine literally looked brand new. Saddleback had to remove the whole engine but man, it looked and drove like a brand new car when the repair was completed.I’ll definitely be taking my cars back to Saddleback as they did an honest and believable job.

Saddleback Automotive is wonderful. The owner is very friendly, polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The young lady who works the front desk is also very nice. The work done is impeccable!

Quality service. I text Adam when I have issues and he’s extremely responsive. He’s also honest and the pricing is fair. I went to another shop before Saddleback and they told me there’s all these things wrong with my car and gave me a crazy expensive estimate. I ended up shopping around and came across Saddleback Auto and they inspected my car and did find some issues with leaks and my engine but not what the other place was telling me. Saddleback is responsive, honest and fair. Definitely HIGHLY recommend and I’m so grateful to have found them!!!!

The service can’t be beat. They come to my job and pick up my car and when the job is completed they bring my car back to me. Always honest and not out to get you. They are the best.

Smelled gas when operating our MR2 and it was time for an oil change. Made an appointment and waited for a call to discuss what was needed. Seals around fuel injectors were leaking and needed to be replaced. The vehicle is 35 years old, so I suggested perhaps the fuel injectors should be replaced as well. Adam explained the process and the potential costs. Adam gave me a rough estimate and I authorized a max budget to get all of the work done. If the budget was going to be exceeded, Adam said he would call and discuss any new issues. The work was done on time and under budget. As cars become more complex, we consumers are at greater disadvantages when discussing potential services and repairs. I trust Saddleback Automotive to do the work requested and not to try and upsell or push unnecessary services.

The work, the customer service, and especially the price were all better than I expected.

I worked with Adam last month to finally fix my check engine light. Great place to go if you hate taking your car to the dealership and they give you a list of repairs that add up to at least $3,000 every time no matter what. Adam gave me a realistic assessment of what I needed fixed without using the fear that mechanics can so easily use when you know nothing about whats under the hood. I also found it much more convenient working with a smaller shop, quick in quick out. Ill be recommending to family and friends.

This is an awesome auto shop all around I got to experience it from both a customer and employee stand point. Adam was an awesome boss who pays very well and treats you with complete respect and equality the same way he treats everyone of his customers these guys are definitely in the pursuit of perfection and they really run a tight ship to make sure every technician is at the peek of their performance everyday to meet the needs of their customers I would trust them with my vehicle any day of the week.

I was referred by a friend to Saddleback Automotive who said that they could fix any problem on any car or truck and they were right! While I do not know much about auto repair, I do know that finding an honest, reliable and thorough auto service center is no easy feat. I am lucky to have found them and I appreciate Adams patience to explain every aspect of what needed to be done. The best part - they are also rockstars on classics, like my Bronco. I cannot say enough nice things about my experience and wanted to pass it along for others to be able to say the same thing once they go there!

Update ####I would NOT, REPEAT N O T recommend this shop to an enemy. They took advantage of my trust and took me for over $1800, convinced me that my car had a mystery ailment that needed additional time and $800 to begin trying to diagnose what was wrong. This led me to give away the car instead of throwing good money after bad. I gave the car to a family member with all the warnings that it was likely unfix-able and headed to a scrapyard. Guess what? That family member was able to replace the head gasket, clean the throttle body and replace the plugs and wires and low and behold it was running smooth as silk and better than before. Now, bear in mind that all of those things and more, were on the invoice of services rendered and what I had paid for. So take that for what its worth, that either they didnt do the work that they claimed, OR they did and are grossly inept. They may have changed ownership or management, because Mac, the gentleman spoke of in my earlier review was not there any of the times that I visited with the whole ordeal. Keep reading if you want to see how far they have fallen. ####I had a great experience with Saddleback smog & repair. I needed to have my car smogged but had problems with mysterious error codes triggering my check engine light and keeping me from passing. After spending months trying to rectify the problem myself to no avail, I took my car to Mac at Saddleback and he took care of me. He and his team were able to quickly diagnose the root of the problem and explained what I needed repaired to get me smogged. Mac was direct and respectful and earned my trust. Thankfully his team does more than just smog, I will be bringing my cars to them to service going forward. Like a good doctor, dentist or contractor, when you find a good one you trust, you stick with them and have total confidence recommending them.

I was surprised by the service and the way Adam treated me. My BMW went through mysteries oil leak after oil change and Adam took care of all the expenses and provided me fix for free. I am overwhelmed by their services and surely will recommend to all my friend.

I have been going here for several years, bringing different cars for service/repair, and have always been satisfied and more. I noticed the one negative review (no narrative that I could find) and thought I should set the record straight, so to speak. These guys are great. They do good work, the prices are reasonable and they stand behind everything they do. Mac (the owner) is the best and Adam (the manager) is cut from the same cloth. They will treat you right, every time. Theyve worked on everything from my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500, 2001 Lexus IS300, 2005 Jaguar HK8, and 2004 Chevy SSR. They do all of my smog work and anything else I need that is not covered under a MFG warrantee. As soon as the car is out of warrantee, it goes to Mac for all of its service. Theyre great at what they do, and I highly recommend this shop.
