Avoid this store. You’ll get better customer service at the DMV. Its no surprise they have 30 one-star reviews complaining about the terrible service, bad attitude, and lack of respect toward customers.My fiancée and I visited this store together to look for a wedding ring that she saw online. We met Robby and got some ideas for rings, but nothing was a match. That night, my fiancée searched again and found another one she liked. I messaged Robby to ask about it. He told us that he would need to take a deposit to have it sent from another store. I said great, please lets do it.Then Robby disappeared. Six days passed before we heard from him. Around day 3, I called the store to see if somebody else could take our deposit. A woman told me that a sales associate would call me back the next day. But the next day, nobody called. I swallowed my pride and called them right before closing. This time, the person *promised* me that a sales associate would contact me the next day.Kaylin contacted me. She messaged me and asked when she could call me. I said 5 p.m., and she said she would. Great. But 5 p.m. came and went, and no call. Ten minutes went by, then 20, 25, and I was wondering, maybe Cartier should have spent its money on training its salespeople instead of ads about how Cartier is “The Maison That Redefined Elegance for a Generation.” Give me a break. So I called her. Twice. But no answer. Thirty-seven minutes late, she called me. She asks, “Is this Justin?” even though she had messaged me earlier, “Hi Austin.”Turns out I had waited for no reason. No call was necessary, because no deposit was necessary (somebody should tell Robby). The ring was on its way. After a few days, we made the first payment in store. But then, after I called Kaylin to authorize the second payment, she told me my card had been declined and that I should contact my credit card company. I did. Turns out she incorrectly took down my billing address or expiration date. So I sent her both in writing. Card accepted. Third payment, card declined again. I call my credit card company *again*. Turns out she made the same mistake twice. She did not update her records or check her messages to verify the billing information.The most offensive thing in this long series of mistakes and errors was that nobody apologized. They treated it as normal, the kind of “service” we should expect to put up with for the privilege of buying their fancy jewelry. But you know what? I’ve worked a lot of jobs. At a camera shop, a food truck, a law firm, and others. In every job, when I’ve made a mistake that burdens a customer or client, Ive been taught to apologize and make it right, because that’s the right thing to do. Thats basic respect. And this store does not do that.Youll probably see a belated apology copied and pasted below my review. Ignore that. That’s branding. And frankly, pretty hilarious how often they have to do it. Avoid this store.
I visited many Cartier’s boutiques in Europe, Asia and N America, Luba in South Coast Plaza is the best! She is very professional, knows the products well and extremely patient even though I only made a marginal purchase! She is truly a gem! Thanks again, Luba!
I visited Cartier Costa Mesa last Saturday to shop for a small watch as a graduation gift. However, the rep I had whose name was Chen Li provided us with a terrible shopping experience.He tried to rush us, trying to sit us down to buy something when we werent even done looking. We had some simple questions on certain models but he kept repeating theyre discontinueeeed in a rude tone.I understand it was a weekend and was busy, but we felt very rushed like he wanted us out of the store for the next customer.I also wanted to see some other models to try on, but he wont even look, just kept saying that he does not have them.I felt like he looked down on us because we are young (mid 20s) and did not look like we were going to buy something. When we picked out our watch from the small samples he showed us and said we were ready to buy, he said oh youre going to take it? like he was surprised we were spending any money there.Didnt bother to show us many models, didnt bother to give us time to pick our watch and compare other models.Overall 0/5 shopping experience, 4/5 for the watch I bought.This is not the service I expected for spending upwards of thousands of dollars at a luxury store.

I recently had two visits at this store, both being my first times ever in a Cartier store. The first time I went for my birthday, I booked an appointment and I had to wait longer than the non-appointment line. Kind of disappointing but not a deal breaker. They ended up double booking my appointment so the SA was rushing me. I chose to leave after 5 minutes. I didnt feel comfortable browsing or even making a purchase at that time with that SA.My second visit was amazing. I didnt bother booking an appointment and just waited in the non-appointment line. After 5 minutes, they paired me with my SA, Luis. Who was absolutely amazing! We connected almost immediately and he was so patient and kind. We chatted for a long time and he offered to show me all of the pieces I was interested in. He even wrapped my purchase so I could still unwrap my little Cartier birthday gift even though my birthday was a few weeks ago. I cant thank Luis enough for making my visit so special. It really made up for the first visit that left me disappointed. Thank you again, Luis!!
I am SO disappointed. I have no words. We just got our cartier wedding rings (3 rings in total) for engravement at South Coast Plaza and the engravements are not centered at all. The graving machines were poorly calibrated! I wanted to cry when I saw them. I cant believe Cartier destroyed my wedding rings.The associate suggested us to leave them there to redo the engravement but this would mean that they have to remove the engraving and removing a layer of gold.I am SO SO SO disappointed. Its the worst experience I have ever had in a luxury boutique. This is not LUXURY service. This is NOT how I am supposed to be treated.

We bought a love bracelet which was never worn and returned it via FedEx. Cartier came back and said it was scratched there by not allowing us to return it. The bracelet was never worn so this is a scam or a ploy by the company to keep our money. We will be filing a claim with our credit card company.
Never purchased online and pick up in boutique because they don’t give complete papers of documents even though it’s paid. Not a good experience for me. Denise is from cartier relations center that couldn’t help me with my request.

Will never waste my time with this store. waited for my appointment patiently only to be told I can’t be seen by another associate because I was assigned to somebody else even if the associate was free. What’s worse was another customer without an appointment was given priority.It doesn’t make sense? shouldn’t you give priority to those with appointments and have been waiting patiently?Will go to another Cartier store.

Go to Yvonne! I called the store and explained what I wanted, then the sales associate contacted me, it was Yvonne. I told her what I wanted, arrived early, and she took me in! She had all of my requests with her on the tray already. I was shocked, usually I have to ask for pieces to try, but she was ready with all variations, some I didn’t even ask for. She also brought out other items I wanted to try when I was there right away. She made my decision making much easier! I really appreciated the service I received, so I highly recommend this store and Yvonne.

My wife and I enjoyed world-class service in our recent visit to the Cartier boutique in the Costa Mesa Southcoast Plaza. We were pleasantly greeted when we entered at our scheduled appointment time. Very nice to see the entire staff at Cartier are taking the COVID pandemic seriously. All were masked, remained an appropriate distance apart, and had the store beyond spotlessly clean.We met with sales associate Du Doan. She treated us like family from the moment we first met. Du knew we were coming in to find the right size Love bracelet for my wife and to exchange the one she received for her birthday and possibly upgrade it to the larger, classic size. Well, the way Du took care of us you would have thought we were buying out the entire store. She treated us with tremendous respect tending to our every need with numerous sample sizes and styles to help my wife find the perfect fit.The entire process went perfectly. We did ultimately decide to upgrade to the larger Love bracelet and Du handled the entire rerun/purchase transaction for us with ease.We are both now strong advocates for Cartier, customers for life, and highly encourage you to seek out Du to assist you with your fine jewelry shopping.
We had an appointment at 11:30 am at south cost plaza today, a lady was assigned to help me name : Firouzeh Memaran, she was not friendly at all, kinda rude. She did not know return or exchange policy during holiday??? . But I definitely disappointed in that store.
I made an appointment to get a bracelet for my husband. There are lines with appointment and without appointment, but the lady who is in the door let the customer without appointment go in first instead of me, & she got an attitude. It is not fair, but anyway i still bought whst i want to get. I was really disappointed .

The best store ever. SOUTH COAST has the best customer service and the largest selection. My bracelet kept coming off because i lost so much weight, so i needed more o rings so the bracelet can be made shorter. i took it to the store and they immediately took it into service.

For the last six months I want to buy a pair of Cartier sunglasses, a Trinity ring with diamonds and a pair of earrings, unfortunatelyI walked out of Cartier boutique for the 6th time, today, in the last 6 months because of the poor customer service.The mentality and attitude of the employees of Cartier boutique towards the customers are unwelcoming, very rude, cold, disrespectful and degrading .My expectations of class and sophistication were definitely had never been met.It is extremely dissapointing when you cannot purchase what you want, simply because the employees are all unprofessional.Obviously they are placed on the store floor without any coaching nor training in customer service or retail etiquette.
I have had the most wonderful customer service here that I can remember!!! I went into the store and it was so beautiful. I felt as though I had entered a mansion. There were representatives wearing white gloves and security everywhere available for me. I felt as if I had been the only one there even though I wasnt. I was directed to the customer service desk and felt embarrassingly underdressed surrounded by all of the opulence. I had gone in for a refill of ink for my husbands pen. He had told me that he wanted a refill for Christmas. The woman there (forgot her name) looked at the pen serial number with a magnifying glass like the jewelers use. They were out of ink, but would let me know when they would receive it in the next two weeks. I also asked if I could buy a box, but they dont sell boxes. She did offer me a felt case that was a beautiful Cartier red to place the pen in. An hour or so later I received a text from Cartier representative Du Doan letting me know they just received pen ink refills. When I asked her if I could come pick the refills up on Wednesday she said they would not be there, but they could send them to me by Wednesday. When I asked if I should call or go online she said they would be free of charge!!!!! OMG!!!! Love Cartier!!!!!! Thank you!!! Made our Christmas All The Merrier!!! :D

I CANT BELIEVE Cartier has SERVICE LIKE THAT !!! I just walked out from Cartier store with unbelievable upset felling, they treat me like I really NOTHING ! I purchased ring week ago and didn’t like the way ring look at my finger so I decided to exchange on another merchandise, problem is I used my boyfriend credit card on original purchase and I asked if I can pay different on same credit card, which I don’t have with me but I have all information. Number card, expiration dates, address, everything, my boyfriend waiting on phone to proof for transaction, but associate and also manager who didn’t even introduce him self properly, ignore that and said it is agains store policy. They have to have card in store, they can’t type number of credit card . Also they don’t have in file my boyfriend phone number they can’t call and verify, which is so in respectful for privacy on my boyfriend. And manager said “we understand privacy but we can’t talk with him if They can’t call him derictly, phone of My boyfriend has to be in there file “ Is this unbelievable? I think for me it is, speacilly when I every year purchimsing Cartier jewerly from that store !The worth, when I said to manager, we will be return ring and go shopping to another jewerly store like Tiffany or Bulgari, he said this is fine.I was shocked, I will never let my customer walked out like that, I understand maybe I don’t spend $100.000 per purchase, but ring for 8K not bad amount either plus it is not first purchase. I will never shopping again at that store, which is bad for there store business, I Love Cartier, but people who work for Cartier in South Cost Plaza is so unprofessional customer service !!! I called the store to get my Cartier watch polished. I gave the person on the phone my watch model and he said that they can do it but they will have to send it to Texas to get it done. So I drove from Redondo beach to Costa Mesa to drop off the watch. The lady in the store who barely spoke english told me that they cant do it because those models of watches cant be polished. I explained to her that I have spoken with a person who works there and he said that I could. She said he is not here today!!!! BAD SERVICE AND PEOPLE WHO WORKS THERE ARE FULL OF .......
