Actually I havent tried their doughnuts yet. But the avocado toast is one of the best in town. Chunk of diced fresh avocados well seasoned with a hint of lime on top of a perfect toasted homemade vegan bread. 😋👍

I personally really liked the raspberry pistachio vegan donut. My kids tried the smile mango, matcha, and Nutella and they only liked the Nutella one, claiming that others were too sour. They seem fresh and not overly sweet so I guess for an older palate. Great variety is worth trying more flavors so Ill be back and see if I can change my kids minds.

4 Stars feels too low, 5 too high. We got the berry vegan donut and it was great, but just a bit too sweet. Their drip coffee was excellent, but parking here is always a nightmare. Come early if you want a space, and I’d say it’s a 5 star experience if you get the right donut coffee combo

Delicious donuts! Definitely worth the price if your into quality donuts. The Berry donut is very fresh the mint leaf adds a nice balance to it.

This place needs to explode with donut lovers coming to eat their wonderfully tasty products. The couple who run this establishmentare are a joy. Come in and try the lemon poppy seed. It is awesome. They have vegan options and great coffee. Come in and spread the word that Good Town Donuts is in Costa Masa.

We stumbled across this vegan doughnut place by accident! There was a tiny sign “vegan” on the glass. Sooooo glad I walked in! The entire selection was mostly vegan. My only goal now it to make it home with these before I eat them!We got original glazed, lemon poppy, walnut maple and double chocolate. I’m in love!

A cute Little donut shop located in the very trendy Lab. The donuts are delicious! I highly recommend the vegan double chocolate and Japanese cherry blossom when available.The staff are always super nice. One time my son went back to get a glass of water but they had closed already. The lady working the counter came out apologizing profusely. Them she handed us two free bags of donut holes. It was sweet of her, as she didnt do anything wrong.

These are some of the best vegan donuts Ive had. I first heard about them when they partnered with a local vegan restaurant where I live (Palm Springs) and purchased some through there.When I found out they were down the street from our hotel, we stopped by and were NOT DISAPPOINTED! We bought the mini box so we could try more flavors and also bought the Apple Cider and Maple Walnut. SOOOOO delicious! And the service was great as well! She was super helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I will definitely go back the next time Im there, or order the next time they partner with Chef Tanyas Kitchen again. I just wish I had taken some pictures so you could see all the deliciousness.Definitely recommend!

Best specialty doughnuts on the planet!! They stay moist for days after buying, if you can even leave them uneaten for that long. The staff is incredibly helpful and patient, and they give amazing recommendations. This place is always a must when I’m in town.

This donut place is in the middle of the LAB in Costa Mesa. They offer vegan and regular donut options but no gluten free options. Their regular sized donuts go for $4 and I got a 1/2 dozen mini donuts for $12.The vegan donuts are very tasty and offer great flavors with a touch of fruits with not too much sugar. You can actually enjoy the donut taste and natural flavors without being overwhelmed by the amount of sugar. I will review again and give them 5 stars when they offer gluten free versions for some of my family members to enjoy.

First time visiting the Lab, I was drawn to this donut shop. It was fresh and tasted great. I also enjoyed the iced coffee.

I had one after lunch and it was still fresh strawberry lemonade and my daughter had a raspberry one it was vegan

The range of flavors is impressive, both vegan and non-vegan donuts! It made it very difficult to choose. I ended up picking the passionfruit with cocoa nibs donut ($3.80) and LOVED it. Not overly sweet and a pure, yet not overpowering, flavor of passionfruit.The actual shop is in the Lab and is a bright space with a lovely display. There isnt seating inside, but theres seating right outside in the Lab so it works perfectly. The service is phenomenal. The man serving us was very kind and answered all of our questions. He clearly took great delight in the donuts!I would definitely return here!

These are the best doughnuts ever! I went to the shop in Harajuku often when I lived in Tokyo and was excited to find out there was a location in Costa Mesa. Parking can be difficult so try to go earlier in the day. There area a lot of flavors to choose from, including plenty of vegan options. I had the toasted coconut and nutella doughnuts. The coconut is one of my favorites! The texture of the doughnuts is on the chewy side which I love. They are expensive but worth every penny.

These are the best vegan donuts and regular donuts my family and I (and anyone Ive shared them with) have ever had in our lives. My daughter said shell never eat a regular donut again!! Theyre soooooo good. Seriously, youve gotta try them -- and even in this pandemic, they are staying safe and conscious of keeping others safe. Take out only!! Do yourself a favor -- go get one (or a dozen) this morning!!

Last year, my bf and I went all around OC in search of the best apple cider doughnut. Good Town’s vegan ginger apple cider doughnut won by a wide margin. We came back this year and it was just as good as we remembered. Like all their doughnuts, it is super flavorful without being overly sweet, and the texture is perfectly light. They have plenty of other flavors as well (both vegan and non-vegan), and the staff were super sweet and knowledgeable, talking us through them all. Excellent experience and can’t wait to come again.

Love this place! Vegan and non vegan options and their avocado toast is delicious the bread is vegan and so fluffy and fresh. The vegan double chocolate is my fav and the Nutella doughnut is really good too. Kinda pricey but you get quality doughnuts so worth it!

This review is based on the double chocolate donut. I know it’s vegan, and with that they’ll be “off” in taste from a regular donut. This is one expensive donut almost 5 bucks and the dough tasty gummy. Just all around no from me, and I looove donuts.

I love this place! Almost every time I am in their town, I make a stop and get 2 donuts or that cute mini box donuts. Being vegan, I have missed donuts so much and finding this place as been a dream! They are best to eat the same day or the next. And the glaze on each on has great flavor. Wish there was more places like this.

Greatest vegan donuts I’ve ever had!

Fantastic donuts with a really good variety. Even half of them were vegan! I had the raspberry pistachio one and it was very fluffy and the raspberry flavor was so bright and intense, it was amazing. Also had an iced coffee that was really smooth and tasty. Would definitely go again!

I came here with my friend and i, they are so nice to me and my friend, there coffee is so good the donuts are 10/10 same as the coffee they us paper straws. I LOVE THIS PLACE

Had the Lemon Poppy Seed vegan doughnut and it was sublime!!! Melted in my mouth and had excellent flavor. Took 6 home for friends and they loved theirs too (chocolate/vegan) - though they’re not vegans. Seriously - TRY the vegan donuts - they’re yummy and you don’t harm any living beings - you’ll be a better human for it. 💚

Awesome, big, fluffy, not-overly-sweet doughnuts regardless of whether you’re vegan or not. Service was not great when I went in, which is why I deducted a star. The associate behind the counter wasn’t very helpful or willing to give any input and didn’t say hi when I walked in. He was probably tired, as I went at the end of the day. In any case, the doughnut made up for the service, in my opinion, so they’re pretty great.

I understand everything is homemade with the finest ingredients. Some ingredients are shipped from Japan. The donuts are on the oricycside and they are good. Coffee is a bit pricy. Location is hard to find. Park in The Lab parking lot. I drove around a few times just to find the place. Great place to just chill. Recommended.

We LOVE this place!!! The doughnuts are incredible in flavor and texture. Ask to have them heated before you eat them. YUM. Not only that, but they feel light (especially the vegan ones), so they actually leave you feeling GOOD (and not gross like so many cheap doughnut places). Delicious vegan doughnuts. I tried four different types doughnuts in a sitting that all looked completely different. While all doughnuts were delicious, three of the four doughnuts tasted identical to each other. The toasted smore doughnut stood out for its distinct, marshmallow-y goodness, so I recommend getting the toasted smore doughnut and one other doughnut of any flavor if youre going to try two.
