Bill is like Spukolis dad in Fast Times. He can repair anything. I tried to blow out my B&W speakers but blew out my TEAC preamplifier instead. The neighbors were not happy with me at 4 am. They never want to hear Skrillexs Right In again. I still think its a catchy tune. It was the downfall of my TEAC though. Bill repaired my sins. What a Godsend! I endorse B&W speakers. They take a Skrillexing...
Bill Tran at Newport TV Repair did a great job repairing my 2012 Marantz SR4023, the resultant repair worked well, he was very courteous and respectful, he was also very efficient and finished the repair in only (2) days. Coincidentally, another Electronic Repair Shop in Huntington Beach that praises itself on the internet as repairing everything, they could not repair this problem, and could not even figure it out, charging me anyway, however, Bill Tran knows what hes doing, and figured it quickly and charged less than the sloppy shop that could not figure it out. I would very much recommend Bill Tran and Newport TV Repair in Costa Mesa at 370 East 17th Street.
10/16/20 BILL TRAN PROVIDES BOTH PROFFESIONAL AND REASONABLE PRICEING. HE REPAIRED OUR PANOSIC 3D TV FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST TO REPLACE IT. WE HIGHELY RECOMMEND BILL!!!!
Bill is an honest, pleasant & straight forward guy. He does what he says he is going to do, when he says hes going to do it and doesnt try to gouge people. I will 100% use him again for TV repair.
I took my Harmon Kardon stereo here to get repaired about 6 months ago. I was charged a fair amount and it had worked perfectly ever since I got it back. They even agreed to keep for an extra week to test it out and make sure the issue was solved. I would go back again for sure, especially since it is one of the only Infinity certified repair shops that I could find in SoCal.
My LCD TV just went out I called the place I bought it from did not get any help here I go and called Newport tv repair from an ad at yelp, Newport TV answered and sent a tech at the house in 2 hours the minute he checked it he knew the problem took it to his shop gave me a receipt and for some reason I trusted him taking it to his shop and promised to bring it back in 2 days..wow what a service he brought it back in time and it works like new. i trusted my feeling and this guy is for real. I would recommend them to all my friends.Thank you, I keep the good work and I am sure people appreciate service like that..
Always friendly reliable service. Cost is always reasonable and opinions honest. I will never go anywhere else.
I find the guy with the red blinking light and the one star review to be highly suspect. 20/20 or some investigative TV show aired awhile back catching evil TV repair guys in the act of defrauding stupid people that dont know how to use a remote. Anyway, Bill is very professional. He calls back when he says he will. He charges $10 to look at your gear and then lets you know what he can or cant do and how much it will cost. He did a great job repairing an H/K receiver of mine and my experience was great. He certainly spent more than an hour tracking down and fixing the problem on my receiver yet he charged me the 50 bucks he estimated the fix to be. Honest and professional and good work.
Fixed a Yamaha receiver per warranty with no charge to me
