So much potential - good location, cool brick building. Was greeted by the friendly bar dog. Bartender was friendly too... but maybe its changed since a reviewer (about a year ago) wrote great craft beer selection. They had an IPA, a German bock, and maybe a cider or something. Other than that - standard domestic light beer lineup. I get it if youre a dive bar, but such a great location deserves better beer selection.

Always a great experience! They have darts, shuffleboard, a pool table and the atmosphere is always friendly and positive. Very reasonably priced and Drew makes a great drink!

1892 has been in this spot for decades. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Its in an excellent historical district. Its an anchor in the community.

1892 is one of my favorite places to have a drink. All the bartenders and the owner provide amazing service. The atmosphere is top notch. Stop down for a cocktail and have some food.

Horrible bar….

Quiet bar, relaxed environment, and plenty of games. It is my preferred bars in the council bluffs main Street strip.

Stop in here for some ale atleast a couple times a month if not more. They have a great selection of craft beers. The food is also great. The 100 Block area of Council Bluffs is the go to party spot for locals if you are passing through on vacation.

Friendly staff, fun environment, and plenty of bar games to play. Half price wings on Wednesdays, Id try the sweet caliente.

Our bartender was Jeremy and he was so kind and helpful and knew how to make every drink!! I couldnt ask for a better bartender. He had an answer for all my questions and was so sweet!

Not big into the bar scene and definitely not the scene on the 100 block, but its one saving grace is 1892....... Excellent beer selection and the prices are right on too....

Fun bar. Shuffle board, giant Jenga, and other board games line the wall and taps that most other bars in the area dont have.

Too much is different. No longer a german themed bier haus instead some kind of two bit college bar in a high school town. Ill never return to what used to be my favorite part of the council bluffs 100 block.

They used to serve real German food. It was really disappointing to get there and find out they are just another bar serving deep fried junk.
