Well run Family Dollar

There was 1 older lady checking another lady came up but didnt open there were 5 people in line and she was rather slow no public bathroom I think it was a little more expensive then our dollar store clean not very busy

Just sad! I went in this morning to grab a pair of reading glasses, because I was desperate and needed them for work.First let me say that the cashier was super nice, but that is really the only positive thing I can say.I walked in to this store at 9am, about an hour after they had been opened. I should have figured there was something off when I pulled into the parking lot and there were NO other cars in the lot. But I went inside anyway. Completely empty of customers. There were boxes in every aisle, presumably from overnights. I went to the cooler to grab an energy drink. The selection was abysmal, barely anything there. I casually walked the rest of the store, out of curiosity, because this is supposed to be the combo store that combined Family Dollar and Dollar Tree. I found a half empty bottle of juice on the shelf, a half empty bottle of water in the cooler, and a half empty cup of soda from McDonalds on another shelf. All on shelves next to merchandise. Disgusting! Its almost as if overnights just left in the middle of their shift, and never came back.

The store was recently remodeled. Hopefully it continues to stay clean and stocked!!

Its okay, dont carry no toys It has a few clothes but mostly is food and laundry detergent toiletries stuff like that

This store is disgusting!!! I would be ashamed to work there. They never have anything. Shelves are always empty. Seems nobody takes pride in working there and I cant blame them. That store should be shut down. Im glad there is a new one in the old hy-vee drug store.

Need better customer service.

The shelves are never stocked up so, you walk down mostly empty isles.. The Sale items in the ad and items that you clip coupons for are seldom available. I have had so many clipped coupons not work properly and I always have to bring things to their attention.

Called to see about a return today. They answered and hung up on me twice. The other council bluffs store number is disconnected.

So many items not priced and the store was a mess!!!

Im an employee of family dollar from hastings Nebraska and I got herples Whitlow and had to get it lances open that is the most dirt diseased infested place I will refuse to go back to that store to help

It could be better but most of the time nothing is stocked and theres 4 people working not alot of bizness and nothing still ends up stocked.

The shelves are usually empty and they seem to be under staffed cuz they always have cases of unpacked merchandise everywhere.. The staff is awesome tho. Very polite

This is the worst store Ive ever been to. There were piles of clothing on the floor that had fallen off the rack or never had been hung up. Could not walk through the aisles due to boxes and merchandise all over. This is not only messy but dangerous!

The staff are very helpful, friendly, positive and welcoming. The store has a variety of products at much lower prices than most or stores offering the same quality items. Great place to shop and save money especially if you use the mobile coupons!

This store used to be clean and nice. As of today I went in and it was disgusting. Dirty and boxes everywhere. I for one will never go there again!

I clean houses for a living and usually they have supplies at good prices. Today I came in, I couldnt find Swiffer dusters or anything comparable. Almost every isle has boxes in it, either empty or waiting to be stocked. I looked on the floor to see if I could find a box of the dusters...no luck there either. I dont know whats going on with this poor store....maybe they are under staffed. Its sad. What they do have out is nice, priced well, but hard to get to. The employees I saw were all very kind.

I was recently at the council Bluffs store and it was disgusting!!! I couldnt believe how dark and unwelcoming it was. It looked like they were having a going out of business sale. The shelves were pretty much bare, stuff was thrown all over the place, and not one associate greeted me or asked if I needed anything. I couldnt even purchase anything.

I needed a cart. They said they have 3 and they are being used. Never did get a cart. Store was dirty and piles of clothes on the floor in front of shelves. Shelves were bare. I waited for quite awhile and never got a cart so I just put everything down and left. They seemed very under staffed and need carts.

The store is extremely dirty. Items on the floor that is filthy. Carts and boxes on the floor making it impossible to pass. I went to get a gallon of milk when I opened the cooler door it smelled. It is more than obvious the store has zero management 🚫🐀💩

For items that you go through all the time the family Dollar is better then spending twice at other places, when you cant event tell the difference

What a mess. Shelves are in disarray, floors had gravel and dirt and trash. However the plus side Workers were friendly and happy.

Its always a pleasure to visit the store on 13th street always arranging the store its now even better .

Reasonable priced and its the only place that carries the coffee I like. Its been newly remodeled.

I was immediately greeted with a CASH ONLY voice booming in my ear, not very pleasant.I finished my shopping and attempted to pay for my goods. The only denomination I had was a 100 dollar bill which they wouldnt accept. Im fairly certain they had change because they have been CASH ONLY for maybe a week? The person working the counter said they didnt.So I went into a store that basically wouldnt accept any form of payment because Im sure a 100 dollar bill is cash.I am very upset to have wasted my gasoline as well as my time trying to obtain items from this store. Which is quite dirty and unorganized as well.I will no longer be shopping here, and I now have a poor opinion of the entire Family Dollar franchise, and I will tell others.

Seemed ok, but I cut my purchases short with only a few items in order to use a restroom at another store and decided to just finish my purchases at tge other store rather than drive back.
