The customer service was very good. All of the employees were very knowledgeable about the products. A little bummed out that they were sold out of the phone I was looking for. All in all positive experience!
Vince, our sales associate, was great. He moved things along at a quick, but understandable, pace. Really appreciated his attention to detail.
Walked into this store wanting to purchase a new phone. The manager put our name down and said it would be a half hour. I watched at least 8 more people come in and be told an hour wait, then hour in a half, the two and so on.As we waited and waited I watched employees helping customers. But it was obvious they werent adequately staffed....and truly didnt care.What put me over the top was the manager aimlessly just walking around, helping no customers, really doing nothing other than counting down the minutes till his shift end. When I asked who he was helping he condescendingly and indifferently replied, Im the manager. I have to be available for my employees questionsApparently its impossible to multitask and help customers and if needed assist your employees.Watched this kid....cause thats what he is... turn away a ton of people and wouldnt lift a finger to help customers or employees. Ultimate indifferent millenial just thinking hes owed a check.

Very rude. Go in to talk to someone and you have to talk through text. Been with them for years and they tell me sorry cant help you because they sold towers in my area. Switching users.

They closed all the stores but 1. Have to make an appointment to get in or wait 1 to 2 hours. Their system is different then the customer service center, so you get 2 different answers...spend 2vhrs there just to walk out unsatisfied.

Poor customer service. They don’t work with you on anything. It’s a simple yes or no and no solutions. Wait times are ridiculous. 5 associates in store and only 2 are helping customers. I waited an hour for a shipping label.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GOOGLE as a matter of fact they tell you to call them yourself for help and they sell a google phone! I understand keeping people safe but why cant they work from home like others? Goodbye Verizon Im done trying to work with you for the last 3 months!
I dont find myself having to go in often, but when I do Im blown away by how helpful and engaging everyone is. Even when Im there to ask some tough questions that might take them some real effort to get answers for, they always go out of their way to get the answers I need quickly. In a sea of bad customer service and support, they are a cut above the rest. If youre in need of a great cellphone, an awesome provider network that covers even the darkest corners of Iowa, and has the customer service support that anyone in the industry should be taking note of, youd honestly be doing yourself a disservice going anywhere else.
I would have to say I would expect better service from Verizon. Ive been a paying customer for almost 10 years and usually get better customer service, but after my recent experience, I have my doubts.I go in to have a screen protector put on my new phone. Usually when you get a new phone, they have no problem in helping to get it all set up. But the GM was rude during the check in and explained that his techs are not responsible for damages or improper installation of the protector. Which I understood, I had them help me out a couple weeks ago and Omar did an amazing job. But this tech didnt. He just came over, open the packaging, took the protector and put it on and handed it to me and said, youll have to take it home and work out the bubbles. And put it back in the box. Thats why Im giving it a 1star. When I got my last phone the tech did the same thing, with little care.But if you ever go in to this location, ask for Omar. He has helped with great customer service the past few times Ive been in. He took the time to help with a screen protector, and actually took the time to clean the phone and took the necessary steps to properly apply the protector.I know, a bit of a rant over a screen protector, but when your paying $25-$40, its nice to not have your money wasted.But for another review, Omar gets a 5 star for customer service.
Very disappointed with our interactions at this location. We were repeatedly given deceiving and incorrect information relating to trade-in values of our phones.We were told multiple times that we would receive maximum promotional credit for our trade-in phones (promotional total of $750 for 2 phones) and the values were deceivingly written on a paper quote provided by the salesperson. The reality was that the quoted value was “up to” that amount...and not a flat rate for any functional smartphone. We ended receiving $400 total, a $350 discrepancy from the total value discussed.Similarly, we were also repeatedly led to believe that the deal was equivalent or similar to a recent buy-one-get-one promotion ($750 value).After noticing the discrepancy, I returned to the store and my concern was quickly dismissed by the manager - on the basis of the fine print that was never provided to me as the primary account holder during the entirety of the transaction.The manager was correct that the fine print aligned with the lower valuations, but the staff at this location repeatedly allowed us to believe information that would have been easy for them to clarify. I do not feel they acted in good faith before or after the transaction. After raising the issue, I was told that while they did not disagree that the information was deceiving, the rep was “tenured,” and that it was unlikely he provided incorrect information. Congrats, you got the sale, I guess?!? Doesn’t instill much confidence as a consumer...No issue with Verizon in general, but I think you can find better customer service and transparency at other locations in the metro area!
Went in for a new phone today and was told it would take 30 minutes to activate so I could just go home and set it up then. Big mistake. Got home and followed the directions on the phone to set it up and it wasn’t activated...going back to the store means another 30 plus minute wait to accomplish something that should have been done at the time of sale. I was also told that my old phone couldn’t be mirrored on my new phone, that just things backed up to the cloud could be automatically put on the new phone. When I setup the phone though “mirroring” my other phone was the first option it gave me 🤔. Guess I should just order my phones online, customer service people over the phone we’re way more helpful.
As of today I am cancelling my service with Verizon. Been with them for 5 years. After being treated like TRASH like Im not HUMAN. But other customers are treated better. Im over it.

Have purchased new products and needed products looked at. Staff is always knowledgeable. Store is generally busy and you will wait, however they have always worked efficiently. The staff member who waited on me most recently started a month ago, would never have known if he didnt say anything. Verizon was my first cell provider and anticipate them to be the last; great service for acceptable prices.
Verizon customer for about 20 years now and this is the worst experience buying a new phone ever. Ordered a new phone online for store pickup because it was in stock at only this store and would be available almost immediately. Ordered on a Wednesday, the order was received same day bagged and ready to go but some computer glitch wont allow them to release the phone. Verizon had no computer glitch when it came to getting paid almost immediately, but I still cant have my phone. Ive even been being billed for it and everything in the Verizon system is changed over to the new phone. Except the store still wont release it. But its a technical issue supposedly. The store staff are super nice but how far can apologies go? If the stores and the main office cant work together fluidly then why have them?
It took a while to get helped but when I did it was worth the wait. The employees were all very knowledgeable and very helpful. I got just what I needed and was very happy with my experience.

Always great service and friendly staff. The wait times are generally accurate and they will help you out with about anything you cant do/forgot how to do with your phone. They even teach you a few things and make it easier.... Im totally computer-illiterate so every little bit helps!! Thanks Verizon!!!
My wife and I just had our best ever customer service at this Manawa location. We were really happy to have a very knowledgeable individual to wait on us. His name is Vicente. Yes, we do know his last name also. And we would recommend him to anyone that would need help on setting up a new phone. He is super patient in trying to teach us on the operating of their new products. Have had two disappointing interactions here, which both times they gave me pamphlets on how to figure out how to take care of my problem instead of helping me while I was in the store. Luckily I am somewhat tech savvy so I was able to figure out how to take care of the problem using the pamphlets.Just disappointed that they couldnt help me while I was there since the process would have been faster.

Verizons corporate culture of paranoia is driving customers away. If you come to this location expect to wait for hours, outside. They only let 2 people in at a time so if youre a single parent youre just SOL. Get what you need online instead and save yourself the headache.

I have never been to a Verizon store and accomplished everything I need to in a short amount of time. I was able to order a replacement phone, ugrade a new one and pick out accessories in under 20 minutes. Jessies Hills customer service is top notch.

Its Verizon. They change your bill, you have issues with your bill. You go in to figure it out and cancel the plan only to leave still a customer more confused with a speaker. They gave you on a discounted price on the speaker so now you are excited about your new toy. Until the next billing cycle is released .
After an hour an 45 minutes, AND almost 500 dollars later, issue still not resolved. Would I recommend Verizon? Not on your life!

No no noEverytime you go here they quote you 5 minutes but 40 minutes later youre still waiting with 0, I mean ZERO, COMMUNICATION from anyone. I would never recommend this location to anyone ever. Please save your sanity and go to Bellevue. It cleaner calmer and the staff there treats you with respect and doesnt lie about wait times and other issues.Enough, verizon, after out contract is up, Sprint it will be !!

Friendly and helpful but ALWAYS crazy busy. Expect to be waiting no less than 30 minutes. If not an hour before getting helped. To their credit they will give you an ETA when they check you in at the door.
Celeste at the Lake Manawa, Council Bluffs location was extremely rude. Wasn’t helpful or knowledgeable about phones being shown, and after our decision was made, she took the money and walked off. She did NOT help with setting the phone up, or back up. When she couldn’t answer a question, her reply was, “I don’t know what to tell you.” We are CURRENTLY still sitting IN STORE and she has not come to check on us ONCE.

They sell dozens of phones a day but the average person only buys a new phone every 2 years. Vinny SOLD us a phone and basically pushed us out the door!!! They say they cant help you set up your phone because of security reasons but it is terrible customer service as far as Im concerned!!! Very frustrating trying to transfer all your data when they could help you in a few minutes. Bad customer service for sure

We had an authorized user add a tablet to our plan, the problem is that they never informed our user of the credit check and then lied about it being a soft hit. Even after it was verified later it was a hard hit. Dont trust this store, or the staff. Even after disputing it, the manager wouldnt do anything to waive the stocking fee on an unopened device. They will try anything to get a sale, including flat out lie. Go to NFM or Best Buy.
Really clean and relaxing environment. I like their apple products stand in the front and their large selection of the latest phones and gadgets.
Theres usually a wait but so far theyve always been able to help us with no problems.

Make sure you do your own research before believing anyone in this store. Went in July 2018 to upgrade one line on my account. Matt gladly helped us and even talked us into doing the bogo with the Samsung galaxy s9. Told us that wed have to pay for both phones for a couple months, maybe longer, and then wed be reimbursed and only have to pay for 1 phone. Turns out you cant get the bogo promotion on upgrades... That totally seems fair, but why would Matt complete the whole purchase telling me repeatedly it was a bogo when it wasnt? I had no intentions of buying 2 phones that day and only did so because Matt repeatedly assured me it was a bogo and he was well aware it was two upgrades, that no new lines were being added. I feel as though Matt scammed me into buying 2 phones. Ive had Verizon for years but after this whole ordeal, I may be looking for new service.

Store: clean, big and helpful staff, no complaintsVerizon: Hate this company, need it to buy a phone since mines broke after 3+ years so I had no choice, after battling for three days as a truck driver over the phone with verizon because I need it a corporate store not a branch to buy a new cell phone otherwise many problems I could face, I finally found this one I could park nearby and uber there. There prizes are outrageous. After telling them over the phone I was going to switch companies since I was under the old unlimited plan and was going to be over $225.00 a month for what I want it they transfer me to a guy who cut me a deal for $109.00 for what I want it, was paying $99.99 for what I had before. Phone costs and arm and a leg now a days is unbelievable what they charge now. Now I am stuck with them for another two long years but at least I pay the phone in two payments because those taxes will kill you.
Theres usually a line, as they are a phone retailer, but the staff at this location are exemplary. Bonus points to Gage, who has assisted me when I went in.

Horrible. Couldnt trade my phone in for account credit, the lady helping me had no clue what was going on. They sent my yard in device to the wrong department. Finally got it sorted brought customer service, after a phone call where this stores manager claimed I had never been in her store and was lying. She hung up on our 3 way phone call. Extremely unprofessional. This store needs an entire new staff.
Stopped in today for help with issues on my Samsung Note8. Alex was VERY unhelpful!! After my phone freezing right in his own hands and not being able to unlock it as it would not accept my pin password (even though I was entering the CORRECT PASSWORD) he handed me my phone back and said there was nothing he could do until I had the correct password. He made me feel stupid like I had just forgotten my password and suggested I go call Samsung. I left and went immediately to the Verizon store located on Brodway and a very nice gal there helped me get back in to my phone. Will never go back to this Metro Crossing location. I have had Verizon for over 10 years and this was the first time I was ever truly upset and disappointed with the customer service (or lack there of) that was provided.
If you are looking for very rude employees and long waits this is the store for you. I would recommend the Verizon in Omaha (76th and Dodge) for a way better experience. The Council Bluffs store is an absolute nightmare.

Lots of issues with my account, long story short somehow my phone was closed out. Now as a business owner that just isn’t acceptable. I made the mistske of going to a Verizon Retail Store(never again). Shaun was absolutely FANTASTIC! He got my service back up and running and sold me more products for $100.00 less then the other guys. Guess what im doing in the morning? Yup, going back to retailer and returning everthing. The waits can be long but this store and Shaun are my go to place.

This store was horrible. They tell you 45 minutes at the door, dont be fooled. 2 hours later someone finally helped me. The policy of letting people come in and put there name on the list and then leave and come back is the worst thing I have ever heard of. You leave, so does your place in line. What a joke.

This is the slowest store ever. There are two greeters who serve absolutely no purpose. I put my name in and asked if I could check if was even available for an upgrade before waiting. The greeter responded rudely with youll have to wait for a sales person but responded idk when I asked for how long the wait would be. There were supposedly 4 sales persons working but I only saw two in the front. I later saw that two were just sitting in the back with an hour to close doing absolutely nothing. When it was finally my turn, I was told I couldnt get an upgrade without upgrading all lines on my plan because I have an old Alltel account. I asked if I could do that here and was told no, only in Missouri where my account holder lives. THIS PLACE MAKES VERIZON LOOK HORRIBLE.
