Ive been going to Tastee Treet for years and have always enjoyed the ice cream, the food, and the employees. Super convenience location. Burgers and ice cream are top notch in my opinion. Highly recommended!

Always love getting to stop by and get ice cream! Ever since I moved out of town I always make it a priority to stop at some point and get a twist cone (a favorite of mine). Was even able to bring my significant other with, me who has never had it before as theyre from out of town, and they had it for their first time. They loved it! Looking forward to our next time.

For decade this has been a staple when riding the Wabash Trace or when going to up Lake Manawa. Their food is good and the malts are amazing!

Got a strawberry malt with extra malt. It was absolutely amazing! One of the best places in town for ice cream.

The food is really good but the gold is in the ice cream. Amazing plus they have healthy and dairy free fruit options of frozen treats that are to die for.

Food is pretty good! We had the pulled chicken, only wish they would drain the juice before putting it on the bun. Makes for a soggy bun. Loved the baked beans, to my surprise they were really like Calico Beans, with hamburger, red beans besides the pork & beans. Very tasty!

A little yummy spot on the side of the road. They do both hot eats and cool treats.

The servings were generous. I ordered the peanut butter blizzard and it was packed full of peanut butter cups! I was in heaven.

I walked into the building today at 4:30pm with my dog and friend wanting to grab an ice cream cone and leave after our walk on the trail. I was not greeted when walking in and a staff member approached me saying that pets were not allowed. I politely said he is a service dog and she repeated, “pets are not allowed”. He was wearing his service dog vest (which LEGALLY he does not even have to wear, but it saves me the hassle if someone questions him.) I told her he is not a pet but a service dog and she looked and me then at him and said “you have to leave animals are not allowed in the building”. I have been a loyal customer since this place opened, but will never again be a customer. I’d suggest Christy Creme instead for a good local ice cream joint!

Great place cool off with a frozen snack after a hot trail day. Recommend the fruity pebbles mixer.

My friend and I walked in to get some ice cream and was never greeted. A lady working rudely asked us to leave because we had a service dog. Once we mentioned hes a service she still wouldnt let us stay in side. Then questioned if he was a service. ( he had his proper vest on letting people know he is one)

Its been here for years and years. Its a staple at the start of the Wabash Nature Trail. Its known for the ice cream, which is good. But its pretty basic for the most part. Its not like craft ice cream, but thats okay. The menu rotates occasionally and I have no clue what their food is like now.

This is a great place to treat your travel party at the foothills of the Loess Hills. The fairly priced menu consists of roadside favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs, shakes, malts and hushpuppies, to bbq sandwiches with all the sides (crinkle cut fries, cole slaw and potato salad) and ice cream (soft serve, chocolate and vanilla) Loose meat sandwiches are available on Mondays only. This location also features catering and sells meat with sides by the pound. We chose the tenderloin sandwich, bbq pulled pork sandwich and childs cheeseburger with a side of hushpuppies and potato salad. We were served after a short wait and everything was neatly presented and we lacked for nothing. After lunch we had a malt for the road which capped our meal delightfully. If youre traveling through or taking a short road trip, Tastee Treet is a great place for all.

Ordered a plain cheeseburger for my wife expecting it to be well done. It was quite rare inside. Its my fault for not being clear that I wanted it well done, but a bad experience nonetheless.

Always a great place to stop with the kids for ice cream, shakes, banana splits, and French fries!!! Many more food items on the menu, we just havent tried them all. The owner is always there working too, so you know the business cares about their customers satisfaction, and happiness!

I Love this place!!First of all ... they serve the best malt or shake you will find anywhere. My coworker told me that and I scoffed. He said That was my reaction when Sam told me. Sam told me what Im telling you now Im buying, check it out. I have passed that tradition on several times now and I will continue. The rest of the menu is good as well! The crew is friendly and patient which is good, because they can get busy at times.There is a walking and biking trail that runs behind it... its a great atmosphere!!!

One of those wonderful mom and pops all towns have (if they are lucky). Known for ice cream, reasonable price and big servings. Best thing on menu is easily their BBQ. Consider stopping by work week lunch. Not a lot of seating and it gets congested quick, but there is an outdoor ordering window.

Hands down the best ice cream place in council bluffs, no where else even compares. The staff is always very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Also the amount of ice cream you get for the price is tremendous. Definitely would recommend visiting if you havent before or are just looking for a bite to eat.

They have a good selection of ice creams and toppers as well as other foods. Their proximity to the trail is also a good advantage. Nice indoor and oudoor seating. Overall a good place to go and get a tasty treat.

Ice creams pretty good, the building is old and has a rustic feel. Good place to stop for ice cream. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the price. $4 for a chocolate malt(medium sized).

This place was great! It was my first time eating there but it was a great casual atmosphere, can eat in or carry out, all good is made to order, and the value for the cost is great! I would highly recommend! I got their jalapeno burger and fries, so good! Its a drive for me, but I will definitely be back!

The most awesome ice creams ever! I visited USA some time ago and happen to see Tastee Treet it was an exceptionally hot day and ordered a straight up large vanilla cone.....oh man it was huge and amazing loved it. My family loved all there orders too! This is the place to go for a hot day!

Customer service is not friendly, borderline rude. They seemed very judgmental, sorry workers we been in the heat all day. I never ask for much, but a friendly helpful smile. Food was ok, if I don’t have nice service, it ruins the food. Plus half the order wasn’t there, had to go back for it ourselves.

Everything was great

The soft serve ice cream is huge. I got a medium and my wife got a small they were bigger than what you can get at McDonalds and about the same price.

This Family owed restaurant on the start of the Wabash Trace nature trail is most definitely the best ice cream around.......try the new strawberry vanilla twist cone...... yummy!!

Expensive and ice cream tasted like shaved ice. Wasnt creamy. Very disappointed.

My kids love stopping by here after school once they open for the season. The employees are always so kind and give me a couple cups and spoons even though my kids always insist on getting cones they cant eat fast enough! The cones are pretty heaping though!

One of our favorites with great people running the place. We love the prices on ice cream and with how you can get baby sizes. This works great for our kids and even for us adults when we want shakes as the size is still pretty big.Cheeseballs are a given each time and the pizza burgers are excellent.

LOVE this place! everything is made when you order. shakes and malts arent super spectacular, but still very good. I prefer their softserve cones. Their burgers are definitely amazing. Plus the Wabash Trace is right out back. Great place to eat dinner after a long family bike ride. You can order inside or from a outside walk up window. Out door seating is also available

Its a little hole in the wall eatery, however its got some pretty damned good food. I had a pizza burger that was delicious! I miss pizza burgers. The rest of food was also delicious, cant wait to go there again with my sister.
