Love it here, everyone working was so kind. It only were the drinks great with all kinds of modifications offered, I got a build your own sandwich that was amazing!!!! My boyfriend got a cinnamon roll that was huge and delicious. Outdoor seating area for chilling outside.Highly recommend going.

I ordered bacon, eggs, ham sandwich because I am lactose intolerant. I also bought a mocha coffee with almond milk. This place deserve five star with their awesome lactose free option. Also the sandwich I got wasn’t on the menu, but they made it taste delicious anyways! 😍

Im a patient person, I really am. But heres the thing, this place is hit and miss with a strong track record of miss.For some reason there are at least three new women a week who work here, and theyve obviously not had training on how to make all the drinks, or operate the espresso machine.So beyond getting your order wrong, which they do because they always seem to be overwhelmed and forget what people ordered, they will do bizarre things like give you an iced americano made with drip coffee.One person knows how to make a cappuccino, and as much as he seems try and teach the others this will never stick when there are new hires every week.The beans arent great to begin with, so knowing how to pull an espresso and above all *grind the beans properly for the weather* is essential. I see no timer around the machine so I know they never do a morning pull to see if they need to adjust the grind for the weather when its foggy etc. I really wanted to give this place a go, and Ive been here more than 50 times now but I give up. Someone please get some consistency here. And speed! It shouldnt take anyone more than 45 seconds to make a drink! A plain coffee shouldnt taste like its been in the office thermos for a week at six in the morning.I am aware that I may be pickier than most as I have worked as a barista in several shops, but when you pay $5+ for a coffee, most people DO get this picky. Wed like the correct order, within a reasonable timeframe.Spot is very cute though and the baked goods are good, on the days when they are good. Like with the coffee, its hit and miss. Everyone who works here is sweet and cheerful, but that only takes you so far when all I want is a proper coffee.

Friendly staff, fast service, worth the trip. I had the lavender honey iced latte. Coffee was rich and smooth, roast was not bitter or burned. No frills patio with plenty of shade and what looks like a stage. Another one to put on the rotation.

Cozy local coffee house - with EXTREMELY good pastries (i recommend the bacon and cheese scone or the ham and cheese pastry puff). The coffee is excellent - my favorite is the Americano (iced and hot are delicious). there is an outdoor seating area that is perfect for those warm days. They also carry great local artist merchandise available for purchase. Definitely a must stop when in Crestline!Just added a pic of my turkey, lettuce, onion, pepperjack sandwich on rosemary & garlic bread (the pic only shows half of the sandwich. Comes with chips. Very filling and DELICIOUS!! Pair this meal with a cool drink and enjoy it in the outdoor patio.

Great Customer Service and we just started watching our carb intake so we talked to the employee she was great at suggesting a drink and whipped it up for us. We returned just because of the amazing service that was provided and she had patience to deal with our questions!+++ Added Bonus they have art work and crafts for sale by local artist in there store. & a prayer box on their counter which to me was very moving that they care what is going on in there customers lives.Way to go!!

This is such a cozy place and a new stop for me everytime Im in the area. Their menu is great and the girls that were working when I was there were so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help me. I ordered an Iced Americano and it was exceptional. I also ordered a sandwich and it was delicious. You can tell that they have a sustainable business built on care and quality products.

Amazing sandwiches!! I had the roast beef on rosemary garlic bread and it was epic. Staff was super friendly, seating area is small but charming, with a large patio for outdoor dining. Regardless of what sandwich you order, you have to add the special deli dressing, it is perfection.

So excited to have good boba on the mountain finally!!! Coffee great quality. I got an iced macchiato with boba and posted it with a delicious lemon bar. A+

Order ahead on Sundays even when foggy, a very popular place in Crestline. The customers are a great representation of Crestline, warm and welcoming. A ministry of Crestline Baptist. They make their own chocolate.Have a look at local artist displays

They use Arcade beans and the baristas make brilliant, nuanced espresso good enough to enjoy on its own. If you dont know Arcade, all you need to know is theyre top shelf, a little expensive, but worth it.At Higher Grounds, the coffee shines in lattes and cappuccinos are topped with a plush yet smooth texture of milk foam that I think is the best. Flavored drinks are often a little more subtle than heavy on syrups.Oh, and the baked goods are matched in quality to the drinks.

Dont be confused the by the rating the reason that I am giving them three stars instead of two is bc of their customer service these are very friendly and kind people great customer service my friend accidently dropped her coffee and they offered to make her a new one no problem and she had not specified half calf so they made her a new one before no problem and let her keep the other if it werent for the quality of coffee they would definitely bee a four or even five start establishment but Ill get to that rn so their coffee, it isnt bad but far from exceptional or even memorable in a positive sense I got a latte with lavender syrup my usual at molinos in downtown riverside I would recommend for coffee lovers all around but back to higher grounds, this coffee wasnt bad but theyre are some definite drawbacks into opinion starting with the brew when I get an expresso or latte I expect a deep strong flavor but this was not the case it in my opinion was rather bland and the notes I did get were not earthy citrus or even floral but instead it was rather sour and not in a citrus way it was warm not hot and that only added to the drawbacks in my opinion it was closer in flavor to a don franciscos from the back of ur cupboard in no way artisan that being said it wasnt awful not enjoyable either or strong for that matter and I got a double shot and I could barely taste the lavender it was more like a hint if that. Its not only the coffee tho there is on other thing the cups no labeling and DO NOT HOLD THESE CUPS BY THE LIDS YOU WILL DROP YOUR COFFEE. But all that being said they have great customer service and it is possible that the barista that made ours just didnt dont right but It Isa a fairly new shop and they have great pastries would recommend the puff pastry ham and cheese one of my favorites but would not recommend their espresso flat whites or lattes they do not steam the milk right and do not grind the coffee fine enough for an espresso or brew it hot enough.

I ordered 3 drinks and it took 45 minutes to make. And the drinks werent even coffee just two lemonades and taro boba. After a 45 minute and I got my drinks. My lemonade was alright but my boba didnt even have boba in it. After a 45 minute wait I expected at least what i ordered. The 3 drinks cost 16.00 in total which was a little pricey.

Not a fan of the drip coffee, Goodwins has better coffee and better deals used to be a barista I would know .

Tasty coffee and friendly workers. This is one of those small coffee shops that has that really tasty artisan-quality coffee. I got an iced oat milk vanilla latte, and it tasted great.The overall vibe was good. The employees were really friendly and genuine, both with one another and the customers.There are only about 4 small tables indoors (3x3 foot squares), but there are many more on a large outdoor patio area with a shaded canopy and a hand-painted mural. Fortunately, due to the elevation, even in the summer the weather is tolerable.Additionally, the bathroom is like at a gas station where you need a key and go around the building So not the greatest restroom, but overall, Id go back.

Oh my goodness! This is the best coffee ever! The staff is so nice, their customer service cannot be beat. I had a maple latte and a hazelnut latte with almond milk. Both were incredible. I was hesitant on trying the maple latte, but it was one of the best lattes I had ever had, Ashley did a great job making it. If you prefer a milk substitute; they have soy, almond, and coconut to choose from. You have plenty of options! The place was extremely clean and it is such a cute little coffee shop. The prices are fair, especially for the quality of coffee you are getting. They have plenty of baked goods to choose from as well (some options are gluten free and vegan!!). They just started offering FREE coffee and pastries on Sundays! What a great way to serve the community! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. You have to try it if you have not gone!

Love the pride the baristas take in making their products! They use fresh roasted beans and do many different coffee and tea drinks. I personally had a pour over which was delicious. My husband had a cinnamon roll which was excellent also. Worth the drive from Arrowhead for a special cup of coffee...and the prices were great too. Highly recommend.

Cozy and relaxed cafe with a wide selection of coffees, teas and cocoas sporting really friendly staff, chill music and fun art from local artists rounds out the experience. Had a great drip coffee and a well priced and filling breakfast bagel. Locals and visitors alike were treated with a friendly smile and small chit chat making everyone feel welcome. Great place to spend a slow morning especially when its snowy outside!

This place has a real cozy, close knit community feel, I love it. Every time that I go in I get conversation and place to sit. This place is worth the drive to get their Lavendar tea Latte and a Good sweet bite. Also, you cant beat the view out the window. .My favorite place for my caffeine fix.

Tasty fresh coffee with baristas that know what theyre doing, are super nice to boot....AND fresh made in-house pastries?!?! Sign me up! I like coffee with cream, not sugar with coffee flavor(lol) and higher grounds is able to do both, so whichever your taste, they can customize it to you! This place has a genuine vibe and great coffee with local artist works displayed for sale on the walls. Im hooked!

Atmosphere is great, staff super friendly and helpful, and the coffee is wonderful. My only wish, is that there were some curtains or blinds..its extremely sunny in the afternoon if you are trying to work on your computer... itll be tough.

They are rarely open when I want them to be.They open after everyone is already on their way to work. I like stopping for good coffee early in the morning. Starbucks onens at 4:30 a.m.I like stopping in the late afternoon or early evening on my way home but nope..... they are closed.

The sandwiches are really good! I had a roast beef on jalapeño cheddar with deli dressing. The deli dressing is really good its definitely worth trying. Prices are reasonable. It sounds like they have some good plans to expand in the future as well. I also had an iced Americano that was good.

Thought Id give this place another shot since its been about 9 months... and yeah, still disappointing compared to other options around town. Individual in my group that got coffee said it tasted stale, I got a blended drink and the chunks were way too large, and the third person bought a lemonade that was extremely watered down. Strike out in our book unfortunately, but good luck!
