Called to make sure my prescriptions were ready and the person on the phone was rude and said prescriptions were ready for pickup then hung up on me. Went to pick them up and they actually were NOTready. Every time I go I try NOT to ask questions so I don’t hear the deep sigh of the person trying her best to tolerate me… I will definitely get the girl’s name next time so everyone can try not to ruin her day by asking her for help.
The pharmacy is unorganized and painfully slow. The customer service is nonexistent. You can easily sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes to pick up your prescriptions due to their incompetence.
Love thsi place thye always give me my meds.
The one newer dark haired lady is always super nice!
Terrible. Had an appointment for my Covid vaccine and waited for hours. I asked for me paper-work back to go somewhere else and they kept saying it would just be a minute and to wait.
This pharmacy deserves 0 stars. I spent a month going back & forth with these people to get a medication prescribed by my PCP that I desperately need. I had, in writing, letters from my insurance company & my doctors office stating I was covered & there should be no issues getting this medication. The pharmacy, however, chose to repeatedly lie to me saying the medicine was rejected by my insurance company, or the prescription was “closed”. There was no evidence of any of that. By the 5th time I called, in about a weeks time, after AGAIN my doctors office said there should be no issue, the man on the other end literally repeated CALL YOUR DOCTOR CALL YOUR DOCTOR CALL YOUR DOCTOR over & over again like a literal child rather than allowing me to express to him that I had already called my doctor & the error was in fact, on Walgreens end. I returned a week or so later with my letters in hand to FINALLY pick up my medication & when I demanded an answer as to why I was now having to begin my medicine at a later & much more inconvenient time, all over clear LIES, the woman behind the counter literally only answered with a shrug. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR & ONLY USE CVS PHARMACIES!!
As convenient as any a drive thru, but $12.09 for 28 600mg ibuprofen pills after insurance? What kind of racket is this? Oh, thats right, its the healthcare industry. This is why we should socialize the entire system. Id rather support the teachers in the classroom and the police officers on the beat in our unsafe cities (take a left onto Olive when leaving Walgreens and keep going until you see what I mean) than a bunch of low-level healthcare professionals who act in ways like trolls under a bridge. How is amoxicillin a third the price of ibuprofen? And why dont the pharmacies have tamper-proof caps, so I can return these god-forsaken oxies (another $5 at 7 CENTS PER MG aka $70 a gram or $70,000 a kilo which is WAY HIGHER THAN PURE COCAINE EVEN, though this was my fault for accepting)? Shoot, I may as well have just driven east on Olive into north city and gotten my drugs there.
Bad service :Visited Walgreens pickup prescription very rude staff. not updated insurance and not helping finding prescription.second.Bad people in staff pharmacy.Bad service Manager covering them up.
Pharmacy is always quick and easy. They get my prescriptions ready quickly. Everyone is nice.
Ive used this Walgreens for at least 15 years. The staff is friendly and willing to assist. There was a period about a year ago when things seemed in flux on the downside but it appears things are picking back up. Pharmacy staff, especially the African American tall male pharmacist who usually works at night, is really on top of things.though understaffed sometimes at peak hours.
Slow service. Waited at drive thru quite a while. Both lines backed up. It was lunch hour time.
This has got to be the worst Walgreens in the area. Pharmacy is incredibly slow. Pharmacy staff is incredibly rude and poorly trained.
I try not to go inside, but the drive-thru is always backed up. So expect to wait a while! The few times Ive gotten prescriptions here the pharmacy technicians were very nice, but didnt wear masks. Seriously? I think they missed a memo about the pandemic.
Despite signs everywhere claiming that masks are required to enter the store, I found unmasked customers chatting with the store clerk. When I asked why the rule wasnt being enforced, the clerk shrugged and said, Walgreens says we dont have to. Its the LAW, I noted pointedly. Shrugs.
Had an issue with two other locations not having the ability to print some labels for me, not necessarily their fault, equipment wasn’t working but was still frustrating as this was over a 8 hour period when I thought they were being completed. When I called these guys and explained what had happened they were immediately helpful and completed my order within 20 minutes.
Terrible photo service, photos not printed by the time I got there (about a half hour after they said they would be done), had to wait and then the guy who finally came to fix the printer gave me a hard time and lots of attitude for having a lot of pictures to print, and I have made larger orders in the past. Very disappointed. Other times have been fine but not happy about my visit this time
If I could give no stars I would. I had an employee approach me while looking at rubbing alcohol, she had a horrible attitude and when I proceeded to ask her a question she just stared at me with a horrible expression.Wouldn’t bother stopping here unless you like to be treated poorly by other humans.
Went to get a vaccine shot here. Had to wait for a while but the staff was friendly. It is a smooth in & out.
Note:Pharmacy rating. It would be one star except for two employees during the day and a male pharmacist who works graveyard shift who works alone who OUTPERFORMS the entire day staff of 5+ and he even goes the extra mile that Ive experienced from the smaller non-24hr walgreens - once they get to know you.Unfortunately, they are unable to ensure you get basic level of medications and the required refill management without you being COMPLETELY involved following up with doctors, insurance, and the pharmacy, and you wont know this until you need the Rx and pick them up.They WILL run out of your medications despite knowing your Rx and quantity - once this happened to me 4 months in a row. I even asked to speak with the pharmacy manager each month, the first two months they refused to let me, instead told me they added a note to my profile and that would take care of it. Last two months I was promised by the pharmacy manager it would be taken care of.. not. Imagine if that Rx was controlled, YOU ARE DOUBLE SCREWED.Their staff are so understaffed given their volume (and headquarters knows it) the staff are left scrambling to do the minimum possible to stay afloat, and their attitude suffers. They cant keep the good employees. Their staff turnover is higher than any other location.Run instead straight to the Medicine Shop for the day version of this nightmare. After using multiple pharmacies, I can say their services are unmatched. As far as the store itself, it is what you expect. Again, why it is two stars and not one..
This Walgreens is open 24/7, friendly staff at night time. Pharmacy department is fast to process the order. They have never disappointed me.
There was a time when pharmacies were the most trusted part of our health care network, I have been a long time Walgreens customer and had to use the 24 hour Pharmacy service this location. I called in using their auto refill service and was told my prescription would be ready at 1030 PM. Drove 10 miles to this location and waited in drive up 15 minutes. I got there early and the tech checked on script, was told it would be another 15 min, I waited in parking lot, came back around and drive through, had to wait another 15 min. Drove up and was told that they did not have one single pill in my script, either generic or brand name, Basically the whole system stinks, and failure for this pharmacy to notify me is unacceptable. There are other choices which I will make going forward
The manager of this Walgreens needs to be fired. The people at the pharmacy DO NOT wear masks or gloves! And if they wear them, they pull them down when handing you your prescription. Seriously, if you need to go to a pharmacy, go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else!
Honestly the best service Ive ever received walking in to a pharmacy.
Absolutely horrendous, use CVS
Some awful and entitled customers here, but the employees are always great!
Worst walgreens ever. i asked for something i found online that was in stock and the lady replied “Sorry honey guess we don’t have that” and then walked away...like the walgreens workers can have a little more effort into helping customers? come one i came in on christmas eve and no one helped me.
Teresa is very rude! Every time shes in the register she would raise her eyebrows. My worst experience from her was last night, all the employees there were seems nice but her.
A family member of mine was having adverse reactions to her medication she was prescribed. When trying to inquire with the pharmacist, she was snuffed off and not even cared for... is this how Walgreens treats customers?
I only come here because it’s close to home. First time attempting to use the pharmacy and long story short, they acted like they couldn’t and wouldn’t fill my prescription. Sounds crazy, but this is the truth. My prescription was filled at a different location, I called to double check the transfer . Pharmacist told me it could be picked up at any location since it was just being re filled . Well sure enough the lady at this location didn’t fill it . Didnt want to fill it and also told me I couldn’t update my address without doing A,B,C... -Z ! It’s sad that I have to drive 1 hour away just to get my medicine. And this has been going on for years. South hampton’s Walgreens in the Health Care center is the best Walgreens. Staff is always pleasant and friendly . Still sucks I must drive damn near a hour away for service.
Don’t bother making an appointment for the pharmacy. You’ll just sit around for 40 minutes waiting if you do while they help other people and chit chat with each other.
11-6-2016Bad is not even the word to describe the unprofessional ethics of the management of this place. This Sunday evening Ive witnessed a member of management (a tall African American girl), throwing a fit and kept yelling What the F... several times all across the store as well as throwing a scanning device that almost hit another member of the store whom I believe was also a supervisor. He was wearing the same vest she was wearing. I was scared and the rest of the employees seemed shook up as well. This was a scary as well as very inappropriate and unprofessional experience and I most certainly will not be visiting this store any longer. Horrible experience! I hope something will be done about this, because I am very saddened that I do not feel comfortable or safe shopping at Walgreens anymore, especially given the fact that I have been a loyal customer and have been coming here for years.
Worst. Walgreens. Ever. Extremely slow and rude in the Pharamacy and also at checkout. Dont expect to get out of this place in under 20 minutes even for a small, quick purchase. I am looking for a new pharmacy now...
Employees here are fine its the customers at this location that are the worst. Every time I was there someone was raising a stink about something trivial.
Great pharmacy staff.
Great place.
Very bad.. Very Slow service in Pharmacy.. They are very rude.. They dont even show curtesy to the customers for delay..
I come here very often. Staff is always friendly.
Pharmacy is so slow. I dropped off a prescription a week ago and they still didnt have it filled. Currently been waiting 20 minutes.
Ive been waiting almost 2 hours for my rx. They are prepackaged medications, all they have to do is put a label on the box
Place is trash
I hate the manager working in at the WalgreenShe told me that she will not print the pictures for my wife and she made her own stories we can do it its because the l blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah I just went to the next Walgreen and they and they do it for me and I asked the manager what happened she said that was totally wrong
