Overall experience was terrific. The team of Brice, Joseph and the twins did a tremendous job. They wrapped items carefully and packed the truck efficiently. They were helpful and asked questions to make sure items were placed in the right spot. Everything was handled with care. Highly recommend this team!

The 3 gentlemen helping me move were very kind and worked very swiftly. My move from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom townhouse took about 3 hours. A few items were damaged in transit. I wish they had packed the truck a little tighter to avoid everything tipping over and sliding around. Overall it was a good experience. This was my second time using them and recommended them highly.

I hired USA family moving to pack up my apartment and move my belongings into a POD storage unit. They did an atrocious job. Firstly, they left behind my bed frame, mattress, sofa, and rug, and that was pretty much all the furniture I owned. I called the owner to inform him of this and he didn’t believe me at first. He finally decided to contact the crew after I asked several times and he claimed that they packed the POD professionally and refused to work with me on the $1200 charge. The moving crew also refused to take my calls and the owner’s excuse was that my number was an out of state number, however, the crew themselves called me on that number to inform me of their arrival. I also mentioned to him that even if the furniture did not fit, they should have called me to allow me to make that decision. Upon receiving the POD, I found that this was not true. The POD was packed in a manner that is best described as a disaster. They had thrown my belongings into it in a haphazard manner, placing the tv precariously and placing a heavy nightstand on top of a box labeled as fragile. This entire move supposedly took them 8 hours, but I’m at a loss of what took them so long as my belongings was literally thrown in the POD. This company ripped me off.

I sent this email to the company, unfortunately, it was 3 months after the move since I didnt find the email from USA Family Moving because it was in my spam folder. I never heard back ...My move was very difficult. There were 22 pieces of furniture and other smaller items that needed to be moved from the third floor of my home to my other house. Three guys were sent but I think there should have been at least one more. They estimated 4 hours for the move and I think it took almost 8. On top of that there were a number of scratches and dents on the walls and handrails. In addition, I think your movers need to be trained in taking furniture down stairways that turn. We needed to tell them to turn the furniture so that the open side could go over the rail. Instead they were trying to force it around the turn – leaving scratches and dents in the wall and handrail. I’ve enclosed some pictures of some of the damaged areas. Also, the dust skirt on the couch was ripped in two places.I had some bedroom items that needed to be moved from the basement of the new house to the second floor. I told the person I scheduled the move with about that and they said it would be no problem. However, when I told the guys they said they only move items from one house to the other, not within the house. I told them that I had talked to the scheduler and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. I had planned on tipping them, because it was a lot of hard work, but I was surprised that one of the movers said they would do it if they got a tip. Not a very good reflection on the company.In all, I was not very happy with my move and would never use them again!

My father was surprised and pleased to see them wrapping his furniture. The resident manager of the complex was really impressed with their care and respect going in and out of the building.

The next time I move I will be calling USA Family Moving first. The movers I was originally going to use called the night before my move saying that they could only load but not unload. I went online and filled out a quote that night and Carson got back to me the very next morning. Not only was he able to get me movers that day, he made sure that I was taken care of. Ed and his team were so hardworking and pleasant. I couldnt ask for better movers. Moving is stressful but my experience with USA Family Moving made one less thing for me to worry about. Average moving company. This company is good or nightmarish depending on which crew shows up. The trucks are always missing some standard industry equipment and will perform most moves understaffed with lacking equipment. The meager crews and underequiped trucks means longer moves with strung-out movers. Often moves would continue past 10 hours on one move and expect employees bright and early at 7:30 next day. I wouldnt work here again and Id never hire em, but with the luck of the draw your move may be perfect.

He offered a military discount and a choice of available times.The day of the move, Mr. Kermit, a US retired veteran, the company owner, as well as the dispatcher, was in constant communication with us about the arrival times, supplies needed, and overall flexibility. His care and concern was immeasurable and greatly appreciated.Anytime we needed to call him, he was readily available, patient, and extremely professional. Not only did he send an extra crew member to work, he also spoke well of and trusted his staff members and driver.Mr. Kermit is a family man who truly emphasized with our situation so now my family can focus on new beginnings in a safer space.

USA Family Moving were prompt, fast and respectful of our belongings. They moved all of our belongings from a 20 foot Uhaul in less than 2 hours.

The move was fine. Went downhill after I made a claim on items they broke and scratched. Huge hassle. Believe me they make you work to get any response and compensation for the items they broke or scratched. No follow up.I would not use them again.

Nope. They quote you for one price and then charge an additional $500. I spoke with the owner and he even added the credit card transaction fee to my balance.The staff is amazing but the owners have very shady business practices.

I wish I could give a more positive review as this is a veteran-owned business. While the buiness may be veteran-owned, the movers themselves, are not. The pre-move customer experience was great, the team was responsive and quick to meet our needs. The move itself, however, was terrible.Day 1: the truck + crew arrived about an hour late AND the crew didnt know they were packing. The crew had to go back to the warehouse to pick up packing material. So besides the late start, the other unfortunate events that lead to my 1 star reveiw: poor packing skills, clearly the crew had not been properly trained and/or they did not have enough experience. Clothes were literally dumped into wardrobe boxes, not even hung. Boxes were NOT labeled so knowing where to unload the boxes was a nightmare. Some furniture was wrapped in moving blankets, some was not. The pieces that were not wrapped had the most scuffs/damage. Oh and they would not pack lampshades or computer monitors? Ive never heard of a moving company who doesnt pack these items. The loading of the boxes in the truck was ok at the begining but by the end of the day, the crew was tired and the loading suffered. Items were not neatly stacked, rather shoved into available nooks + crannies. We had to ask the crew to not bring in the muddy dolly into the home (dark hardwood floors). Had the floors been protected, this would have been fine. They sent 4 crew members to pack and load when they shouldve sent 6 or more. There was not a final walk-through and we found a couple of cupboards/drawers that were completely missed. It was a rough day and I wish I would have been more present. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and left them alone for most of the day (even bought them lunch).Day 2: Crew was supposed to arrive shortly after 12pm and didnt arrive unitl after 2:30. Oh and there were only 2 crew members to unload a 26 foot truck. Without myself, husband and father-in-law helping to unload, they would have been here all night. I think the 5 of us unloaded the truck shortly before 6pm.Im not going to beat up USA Family Moving on the price, which I thought was reasonable OR my damaged items. My frustration w/USA Family Moving comes down to lack of preparation. Had they been more prepared the experience would have been much better. IF you choose to use USA Family Moving, have them simply move your stuff - DO NOT HAVE THEM PACK (thats not their specialty). BE PRESENT during the move - supervise the entire process and demand that your stuff be taken care of. If that means they have to go back to the warehouse to get more moving blankets, so be it.I would not recommend USA Family Moving again, unfortunatley.

Hello. I had a very good experience.The reason I picked you (other than the good reviews I read) is that I had to have my items stored overnight. The other guys wanted to unload the trucks, put it in storage (for 12 hours!) and then load it back up again. More moving means more money spent and more of a chance for damage. This was a dumb move.With you, my truck was secured and then came back right on time after I closed on my new house. The crew for both days were fun to work with and did a good job protecting my big TV (85) and my glass coffee tables and other precious cargo.I would recommend your company. Moving is stressful, this made it less so.

My husband and I moved from an apartment to a home in the local area (less than 10 miles) on 9/12/2020. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the day of our move and the USA family movers team. The movers were on time and were ready to work. I offered them food and beverages during the move and offered them to take breaks as needed. But oh my goodness those guys were so focused and had great work ethic. They were fast and efficient. They also had great communication with us throughout the move. There were items in our apartment we were not overly worried about in the move but they wrapped things and handled our things with such care. The guys had a good attitude throughout the day and actually made the move fun. They did a great job and I am so glad we decided to hire movers. I am very pleased with USA family movers. I reviewed a number of movers before making a decision and USA Family Movers were the most professional, attentive and fairly priced during my process. They provided three movers and a massive 26 truck. They called before, during, and after my move to make sure the service was at the highest standards. Anytime I called to get my questions answered, they were available. The movers completed the job quickly, they were professional and they were attentive to our needs.

Worst move ever. Ive never had so much furniture damaged in a move, particularly at that price point ($3,000+)Sales was an elusive process. Went through the entire estimating and scheduling process with one of the owners of the company who recommended 4 movers. I received a call 4 days later from another rep that wanted to go through the same estimation process again. He hadnt looked up my info and then told me I needed 6 movers.The crew arrived after 10 in the morning, which should have been a red flag knowing now that they didnt finish until after 9:00 PM. Additionally, the crew didnt prepare for (or break for) lunch so the only things they had to eat and drink were what I provided for them. And I dont think most of them ate before they arrived.My move was unique in that about half of my possessions were going into temporary storage. Per their request I went around to all of the furniture and marked the destination. All boxes were marked and sorted into destination piles in each room.Things started off well but they had a new crew member that didnt have the physical strength to do the work, so, we were really working with 3 movers. I had two pieces of furniture that I requested extra care in transporting. One of these two pieces was dropped right in front of me. Two drawers were damaged, requiring repair, and there are scratches where the item impacted the ground. Additionally, the legs were nearly ripped off of a small desk. All dressers have deep scratches on visible surfaces. An office chair had the plastic sheath around the piston completely ripped off. I dont even know they accomplished that. I have scuffs and damage to walls in my townhome that I will have to pay to repair before my departure.Several items werent delivered to the right location, and I found several more after the crew had already departed, so I had to transport them myself.When departing for the destination, both trucks were to drive to my townhome first, then both would deliver the second truck to the storage unit. Instead, the truck with the storage unit items went straight there leaving me with one seasoned crew member and the new guy who was exhausted on top of not having eaten more than the snacks I provided. Two calls to dispatch yielded no change in how the drop off was handled. The seasoned crew member even called in to dispatch and threatened to walk off the job. No change in response from the company.Lesson learned: Buy excessive insurance whenever hiring movers. Its the only motivation they have to actually follow through with what the promised to do.Would not recommend.

Second time moving with these guys. They did a phenomenal job! They took great care of me and all my belongings. I will always recommend them over anyone else and will absolutely use them when I move again!!

Absolutely terrible experience. I was sold one thing on the phone, and another in person. The experience and professionalism of the workers was mediocre at best. Upon calling I was referred to the owner. The owner tried to blame me for everything that I stated to him, and hung up in my face at one point. He told his workers to stop unloading my items without saying anything to me about it. The owner treated me like I was lying about my experience and what I was told over the phone. I was treated with very little respect and was absolutely appalled. One worker attempted to seek understanding and ease the obvious pain of the situation. However the other worker sat my items on the ground outside and was not very communicative. That same employee placed an air bed and a container of files on top of a “32 inch tv box. Worst experience with movers. I would never hire these people or refer them. They don’t deserve to be claimed a reputable business whatsoever. Their only concern was getting my money, literally, I overheard the contact on the phone asking if he’d gotten the money from me. I was cheated on my birthday of all days.

They caused a lot of damage to the stairwell walls during our move. Still waiting for them to send us the claim kit. Selling our house that we moved out of. Its going to cost several hundred to have the repairs and painting completed.

I have no idea how they have this high a rating on google. Please check out Yelp. Way more accurate and all but one a one star rating. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. They milk the clock, can’t pack anything of value, break the throngs they do pack, destroy your house moving furniture and refuse to reimburse for any damage that is fully in their control. Had I looked at Yelp, I would have never used these guys. I was trying to stay local. Big mistake.

Horrible experience!! For a company that claims to be focused on customer service they clearly dont share that philosophy with their employees. One member of the crew was helpful and attentive. The other 2 wouldnt read labels, take care of items, or avoid walking on our new carpet. Now we are left with damaged flooring, damaged items and an exorbitant bill! (BTW, the line the give you about no hidden fees is absolute BS). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We used USA Family Movers on June 19th, 2020 and we are so glad that we chose them. The staff at the office were responsive and very helpful in planning for the move. Germany Norris & Crisean Cole moved my Mother from one apartment to another. They moved every piece of furniture with care and in a very professional manner. I highly recommend them.

Id suggest if you use USA Family Moving you monitor them closely. The movers trashed several walls in our house. They rode around on our young daughters eclectic motorbike, and two of the four movers did not wear masks during the move. Three pieces were damaged during he move and the movers did not even have enough integrity to point that out before the left. The claims form is filled with hoops to jump through and you have to have everything notarized. Honestly, Id look around and find a different company, their branding does not live up to the experience.

Such an incredibly disappointing experience. Take your business elsewhere! For context, I have reached out to this company twice to discuss the feedback from my experience and to find a resolution before posting a review. I was told they would mail me some information to file a claim, but I have received absolutely no follow up from them and it has been well over a month.We used USA Family Moving for a local move. There were multiple belongings damaged in the process, including:- Our brand new sectional was scuffed and torn from careless moving.- The movers made gauges and scuffs in the walls in our brand new construction home from moving furniture carelessly. I had to remind the guys constantly to please watch the walls.- They dropped our new traeger grill off of the truck, dented/ busted the side of it, and the pellets went flying all over our brand new driveway. The movers didn’t say a word and just put the grill in the garage like nothing happened.- After the move, I found a statue of ours broken in half and hiding behind some large bins in our garage. Accidents happen, but this was deliberately hidden from us and no one brought it to our attention.To top off the experience, we got a call from our realtor the day of the move, to inform us that the movers had pooped in TWO of the bathrooms of our old house, did not flush, and left the home that way for the new home buyers to move into. Needless to say, the buyers were livid.What was supposed to be a special day for our family turned out to be stressful, disappointing and very expensive. We paid almost $2,000 for this moving service, and we ended up being very unsatisfied with the service we got. My husband and I have a lot of respect for military service members and veteran owned businesses, but we would NOT recommend this business to anyone looking for a quality, respectable moving business.

I’ve hired movers twice before in my life, and this has been the best experience so far. The owners were quick to respond to my quote request and answering questions. The day of the move the movers greeted me with enthusiasm, and the entire crew was incredibly respectful and professional. Each of them shook my roommate and I’s hand before starting!The team made quick work of loading up the home, and would ask questions if they ever weren’t sure of what needed to be moved (1 of my roommates wasn’t moving with us, so not everything was being taken).My new apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, but you wouldn’t know it with how quickly the crew unloaded everything. They were also very patient with the fact that everything had to be crammed into our living room since new carpet was being installed in the bed rooms. They were able to get all of our furniture into the small space, including a tough to maneuver couch and bed frame.I highly recommend using this moving company, and I will be going directly to them the next time I need to move.

Everything was great until we had our in home estimate done! we were looking forward to working with this company as our good friends had recommended y’all. all was going well until we were introduced to the gal that came to our home to do an in home estimate. she was a terrible representation of the company. she started by calling to reschedule to the next day five minutes before she was actually supposed to come and then she was then over an hour late the next day. when she finally arrived she looked a complete mess. make up running all over. having a bad day is understandable, but this was no bad day as she couldn’t even stay awake for the hour she was with us. she could not stop nodding off and kept asking the same question over and over again. once she finally got everything noted she sat on her laptop and fell asleep at our kitchen table!!! we are convinced she was on some kind of drug and feared that we were about to have a dead girl at our table. this is a terrible representation of the company and we will never recommend this company to anyone. i believe the gals name was jessie or jessica. something along those lines.

I must admit that I cannot find anything to be upset or unpleased with about the move. Johnny and his crew of 2, were great! Johnny made sure we walked thru the house and show him what we wanted moved and again at the end of packing up the truck, we went thru every room. The crew was fantastic. All the floors were covered. They were courteous and stayed masked thru out the process. We were surprised that they hand carried everything out of the house and did not use a dolly until they were outside. They worked from the time they got there until they left for the new house and repeated the process. Extremely good workers. Johnny, at the end of the move again walked us thru the house to make sure all was right!We are extremely pleased we chose USA Family Moving and would without a doubt recommend the company to anyone. Even the sales person, Scott called to see if everything was going well. There wasn’t even a surprise when we got the bill. Thankful for that, too. I’m so glad we finally, after email mix-ups, were able to get a quote.

Out of the relocation companies I have hired out, this is the best one out there. Throughout the relocation, the moving team maintained a high level of diligence. They were also very cooperative while facilitating the move. They understood when I asked them to help me with the arrangements. It was such a great choice hiring them out. Highly recommended.

Wrapped all of my antiqes, artwork, appliances and handled everything with care even my grandsons bike. At the new home items were placed in the right room, and carried things to the basement for storage. We have used other movers before, non have compared to USA FAMILY MOVING. USA Family Moving company definitely impressed myself and my family. The movers showed up promptly and were ready to work. They took great care of our belongings and moved us in a timely manner. I have always feared using movers and them moving slowly to rack up the time but in reality they got us moved quicker than I expected. I highly recommend them to all in need of moving services.

I had a terrible experience with USA Family Moving a few months ago. I was supposed to have a three-man crew beginning at noon on a Thursday. Shortly before noon I was told their previous job was running long. They could send out the three-man crew at 6 p.m. (seriously? Who STARTS a move at that hour?) OR they could send out two guys early in the afternoon. Those were the only choices they offered me at the time, so I opted for the two-man crew. They showed up but they had a rental truck (instead of a company truck) that didnt have a side door, which didnt work with the parking situation at my building. So we rescheduled for the next day. I was assured that I would have a three-man crew first thing in the morning. Didnt happen. They sent out two guys--who had also been expecting a third crew member; in fact, one of the guys said it was supposed to be his day off. The guys were respectful and worked hard, but everything took much longer than any of us were expecting. I had hoped to be directing and organizing and moving small things, but instead I was actively moving stuff--the job took nine hours as it was, and no one had a break other than the 12 minutes it took to drive to the new place. (I ordered pizza and we ate it on the run.) I had to leave lots of smaller things at my old place and later had to make lots of trips with my car--spending time and energy I really didnt have to spare at that point. I have no way of proving this, but my instincts tell me that USA Family Moving sent two guys instead of three intentionally, to run up the hours so they could charge more. (There was only a $30/hour difference between two guys and three.) I called to complain and I did receive a discount, and then someone called me back and offered me a second discount; I ended up paying about what I was expecting to, but with a LOT more stress and hassle. Later I discovered scratches on furniture and a few gouges in the walls. Thats what happens when people are exhausted! I dont think USA Family invests in their people by providing them with adequate training. And if they dont have enough staff to serve their clients well, maybe they should consider accepting fewer jobs.

USA Family Moving is the most professional moving company I have ever chosen to move me thus far. They were so efficient all along the way it made this move a pleasurable experience. I used this moving company for my recent relocation. The foreman and the movers were awesome. Everyone was very kind and had great attitudes. We had a four-man team. They packed all of our dishes, pots & pans, etc. from the kitchen. Nothing was broken and the boxes were clearly marked.
