I bought tires in December 2020,I had a blowout Saturday morning. I took tire back Saturday afternoon to get a new one. Lady told me they were booked solid and I was told to come back Sunday. I had to get a ride from orange to culpeper for this and I had no car to use.She was rude and insensitive. She went to get the service manager and while she was gone me and another gentleman notice the employees were just standing around talking and not working. Service manager came back to me and said same thing she did and could not fit me in even though tires came from them. After about 15 minutes of excuses they decide to help me.poor customer service and rude, I was not offered a discount or thank you,and they forgot to put back my center cap I had to come back Sunday to pick that up. Need new supervision, definitely not professional. Not going back!! Guessing Walmart does not read these reviews!!
Walmart auto care center was awesome! I called them and they ordered my tires. When the tires came in I set up an appointment and then went in for them.to.put them on. It took about an hour for 4 tires. I highly recommend them for tires.
After some lag in finding our appointment and the tires that we had ordered... The service performed was good. Would use them again.
I ordered tires and installation online only to be notified via email half an hour before my appointment that it had been cancelled (with no explanation). I tried to reschedule on line but the system said there were no appointments available for an entire week so I had to call the office. When I called to reschedule, they had plenty of availability, but the man making my appointment didn’t even ask my name, I had to remind him. When I Finally had my appointment, I waited for my tires to be changed for two hours. The guys in the back spent a lot of time not working on the cars but instead screwing around and spending time elsewhere. Sitting in the lobby watching my car just sit there was very frustrating. When they were done, they drive my car around like a maniac! I thought maybe it was a test for the tires, and the first time was, but then he drove it around to park also like a maniac.Don’t be fooled by the cheap install prices...you get what you pay for I guess.
At the end of my work day on Saturday right before closing time, the manager of the office notified me that my passenger rear tire was flat. JiffyLube closes at 4, its 5:50pm ten minutes before Walmart Auto Care closes. I call them and Asst Manager Mandy and Service Manager Zees team replace my tire so I can travel a good ways back home safely. The entire team that worked until closing on March 6 deserves an applause.
Techs should spend more time actually doing their jobs instead of goofing around in the shop. I watched my car sit inside for an hour for an oil change that had to be done again only a month after it was last done because it was leaking and burning oil that was not an issue before the oil change.
Trying to call no one answer the phone tried auto center and store cant get any one to answer the phone. I am trying to get a price on a battery. Very poor business. I work retail and we always answer our phones. To me this is very poor business
Always have great experiences with them, their synthetic oil is way cheaper than Jiffy Lubes thats up the road from them they charge 30 dollars plus for the same service Walmart does for $40! Insane..
Got tires replace, didnt have but one tire in my size, but ok, I got them put on and happy
I went in for tires, they told me it would be a 45 minute wait. In about 20 minutes they were done!! Very impressed the staff there very friendly and helpful. I dont normally get my tires here. But I will definitely again. Thank you for a pleasant experience!!
Keven was awesome! Very thorough in his inspection of my tire problem! Would have given 5 stars, but there is not enough staff so the wait is long. Otherwise, great experience!
Im happy with the service. They have to work on the wait time. Prepare to leave your car for a few hours. Come as early as possible. I got an oil change and rotation and balance it took almost 3 hours. I had 3 cars in front of me.
Great manager, and service manager
It just seems that there is ALWAYS an issue with something. Today we were told after an hour of waiting that they could not do our oil change because there was no dipstick... also, they do not sell dipsticks. It’s never been an issue anywhere else.
Came in for a very simple oil change one and a half hours prior to closing (415pm), as stated on their website. Walked in and stood at the front desk for 15 minutes while the desk clerk did other tasks to ignore me. Then another customer came in and they took him over me (already been waiting for over 10 minutes). Then when they finally FINALLY talk to me, they refused my car for service cause it was 4:27pm and they dont take cars 30 prior to closing. I showed them the website that clearly stated that they close at 6:00pm. Still refused. Then I went to exit and passed another employee working on a car and asked them what time they closed and he stated 6. Then I asked for the manager. Manager stated that I was clearly lying and theyve been closing at 5 for months and that all their workers know this. No where else did I see hours posted. Great job walmart!
Been coming here for years and years. Always been satisfied. Hard workers. Willing to go the extra mile. Kevin, Amber, and Mary will treat you right.
Poor service and rush
Traveled 30 minutes to get to this store to get tires. They told me it would be a 3 hour wait. I excepted the fact that I had to wait. I go back and check on my vehicle twice just to see how far I was in line. Then the third time I go back it was after the three hours so I check to see if my car was ready and they tell me there is a problem. I asked what it was and they tell me that they dont have the tires on stock for my car. So with all the technology that we have today why didnt the computer say that the store didnt have the tires. All they could say was that sometimes the system doesnt update fast enough and that the tire truck comes in three days later if I want to come back. What a way to keep a customer happy. 😞
Long time but done rite...4 new tires installed.
Went in for a oil change on my car and they said 45 min to a hour so we went back at 45 min and they had broke my oil filter cape off and they had to go find a new one so me and my other half walked and went and got something to eat came back and they where still looking for that part so in all it took 2 hours. Then they said they Checked all This stuff on the car and they really didn’t. And I finally get home and I wanted to be sure they did everything right and found out they threw new oil on top of old oil and just topped off my oil and that’s it. I would not recommend going to them I rather do it myself next time
Kevin and his crew never disappoint. I have been going to them for years.
Wont be back, way behind schedule and watched the mechanics talking and joking around in shop. If they had a supervisor who would supervise then maybe they would operate more efficiently.
Ordered tires and had them installed on Saturday, September 1 - no issues. Returned a tire on Monday, September 10 - it went flat on Sunday, September 9th. They told me a new one needed to be ordered because the hole was too big to be patched. I picked up tire on Thursday, September 13th. They couldn’t find the order receipt anywhere but no real issues, I had road hazard. Returned to store on Monday, September 17 because the same tire was flat. The auto center manager (Keven) shared he remembered me because I had a hole on the wall of tire and they had to order a new one. He said it’s probably just an issue with the stem this time because he was pretty sure I couldn’t have run over something again so soon. I watched through window as the tech removed the patch from the tire that was on my car and told the other guy it was the patch. I asked the guy behind the counter (Mike) why my newly ordered tire had a patch on it. Keven, the manger walked in as I was talking to him so i asked him the same questions. He told me he was embrrassed because they put the tire with the patch on my car and my tire was in the back room. He said he only has his two tattoos and his word. I shared with him I had no reason not to believe him, i just wanted my tire fixed. He said he didn’t like being caught with his pants down and I said I hear ya. He installed the tire and I asked Keven if there was a new tire on my car, he said yes. I left and when arriving home I noticed the new tire was different than the others. It was the same size but the tread was different. The tire on my car was a lower grade. I returned to the store again and asked Mike to speak to their supervisor/boss. He mentioned Keven to which I said I’d rather speak with his supervisor because i didn’t feel people were shooting straight with me. They brought Gary back to me because Brandon wasn’t available. Gary said that Keven had shared the story with him and he had approved a $100gift card (that was double the amount I spent on lifetime balance/rotation because i told them I wouldn’t return). They were wanting to make things right. Gary then mentioned to me that they had put a higher grade tire on my car than what was on there and i shared that wasn’t true. I had 94h on my car and they placed 94t on my car (lower grade less expensive). Gary shared that Keven stated it the other way around and i shared that i didn’t feel if people were telling the truth in the auto center. Gary said there would be a training. I shared I felt there should be a written documented complaint and Gary said it would only come back to him anyway. I told him I felt Brandon should know about this and he assured me that Brandon would know and that there would be a team training in light of this. I’m currently waiting on the correct tire to arrive so I can hopefully have no more issues. I was kind, respectful, and reasonable during the entire confrontation and felt what happened was dishonest and disrespectful, not to mention unprofessional.
I am here now Here is my experience if you can believe this. Got here at 1130 am. Expected a wait, but then noticed there were no cars in the bays so I thought ok maybe I’m good. Gave up my keys, went shopping and came back an hour and half later and was told they are just bringing it in. Little girl ran out the door to speak to on of the mechanics. The brought the car in and one guy started working on it. Please tell me why did I happen to look up from my phone and see this guy with his lunch bag in had going to lunch? So now I am sitting here watching 2 others try to get it done. The worst! Won’t be coming back for my car care needs.
Kevin was so helpful and has great customer service!
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!!! DROP OFF MY JEEP WRANGLER OFF FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE AT 10AM, AND WAS NOT READY FOR ME TO PICK-UP 515PM !!!! NO CALL AND THE EXCUSE IS THAT THEY WENT TO LUNCH . AVOID THIS IF ALL POSSIBLE !!!! NO MANGEMENT OF THAT DEPARTMENT !
I had my oil changed. I was in and out in 20 minutes it was s good experience.
Never had an issue. Standard Walmart service dept. Been getting oil change, tire rotation, battery service type stuff for 6 years now. Yeah you might wa it longer than the jiffy lube down the street, your not payin $75 either. Its usually an hour or less while I grab a few things from the store.
Be ready to wait long hours, if they tell you 20 minutes waiting, that mean 3 hoursgood luck
Oil change. Good job.
Had an oil change months ago and turns out they messed up and broke the oil seal thing, so Im not able to get an oil change until I get it fixed, I had brought it back because it was their fault but they said it wasnt (It really was due to the last oil change), also had two packs of cigarettes stolen from the back seat of my car, and ON TOP OF THAT the last oil change I had to run and get my own oil cause they didnt have any AND it took over 3 hours!!
They couldnt change the oil in my bicycle and a bicycle dont have oil
They do a good job on our oil changes and its always done at the time they say it will be but I can never get a hold of these people. I spend too much time just trying to get someone on the phone for a question.
Always slow
Brought a battery to be tested. They tested it, told me what was wrong. Walked over to the isle, picked the battery that Consumer Reports said that I should buy, and sold it to me. Less than 15 minutes.
An hour and a half for an oil change? Dont bother going here
Awsome & polite
Service is so slow and customer service must be foreign to them.
Total waste of time. I checked the hours for the auto dept and it said they closed at 6pm. Its 5pm and theyre closed. Thanks d-bags!
Not good
