Words can’t express my gratitude towards these guys, specifically Luis. We were on our way to D&B to celebrate my son’s birthday when my car overheated. I pulled over and walked across the street to simply ask if they sold anything that might help. Without hesitation, Luis instructed me to let my car cool down and bring it over for him to check. He went over and above anything anyone has every done for us. He checked all the possible causes for it overheating and filled up my car with coolant. After doing so, he checked the engine oil and processed to educate me on how to check both the oil and coolant gauges. He spent about an hour with us despite his shift having ended. He did not let us leave until he ensured me that my car was safe to drive and was confident that we could proceed on our way. After, I asked how much we owed, he said “nothing”, all he asked in return was that I take the time to keep up with my cars routine maintenance. I will forever be grateful for this man’s kindness! Thank you Luis!!

Took my 2016 Dodge Charger to this PepBoys to check on the AC blower monitor. The advised that my whole fuse box needed replaced even though the other fuses in the box was fine. They also removed the fuse #15 for the AC blower and did not return the AC fuse to the fuse box. I will now have to purchase another fuse for the AC blower motor since they did not return the original one.

I brought my vehicle to this pepboys Friday oct 15th 2021 and it was best expierence and service ive recieved in awhile Luis helped me out and broke everything down to me and explained what needed to be done to my car. Wouldnt come back or recommend.Went in for a radiator flush they flushed it but there was still rust in my fluid. I asked what was going on and they told me they would have to flush it with water longer to get rid of the rust. So the guy literally just told me what would need to be done and wouldnt do it. A total waste of $125.Do not come here for a radiator flush seems like apathy is their work ethic.

Had a fantastic experience with Luis. I think he was a manager, but I came in with little to no knowledge regarding tires and tire pressure and he took the time out of his day to expand my knowledge on the subject. Not only did he refill my tires, but he also taught me how to better prepare myself for the next time my tire pressure light comes on. 10/10 would recommend.

Been using this pep boys for 18 years great with simple repairs and fluid changes. I always use this place for my tirerack.com tire installs i get the lifetime balance and rotation, great deal.

Once proud chain now is rip off joint. Tried to charge me 2.5 the going rate for parts. When I brought up that their location on Forrest that still stocked parts had what was needed at over half the price Johnny was trying to charge me, he replied thats the price. Sorry Johnny Im not paying $348 for a $165 part.

I had my Father call around to different different repair shops for a price on my headlights for my 2012 Cadillac SRX. He called me and said Pep boys would do it for $177 and some change. I drove to this location because I was closer to it. The gentleman behind the counter quoted me $300 for the labor plus the cost of the lightbulbs roughly 120 each he said. I advised him that I was given a cheaper quote at the other location. He then advised me that they just have given me a price off the top of their head and that $300 was the standard labor charge for my vehicle.I advised him that I would just go to the location that my Father called instead. Guess what?, it wasn’t just a price off the top of their heads, it was the actual price including labor... smh. I will never visit this location again!!
Came here for my cars inspection recently and now ill never go back. Car was fine and had no issues because i take care of everything myself and i get very OCD with my vehicles. Well, i get a phone call while its being inspected that my front right headlight is out and has to be replaced to pass. I know my headlight works at the time of driving into the shop and i need the inspection asap so i go along with the scam and pay an extra 50. Guess which light is now not working that i have to fix?? This is why i dont ever recommend people going to repair shops. Theyre all crooks. If yall read this you can delete me from the system because I will not be returning

BEWAREI went here for front brake pads today. After inspection they told me I needed several new parts. And it was dangerous to drive. The manager quoted me over $1000 to repair.I went to the dealership for a second opinion and inspection and found out Pep Boys lied to me and I only needed a $200 repair. I WILL NEVER USE PEP BOYS AGAIN. They tried to rip me off. What a scam they almost pulled on me. Its a shame they can do people like that.

I took my car in with a weird smell and check engine light on. The guys here were so nice-fixed my car quickly and did me a big favor with a hose problem. (Okay that sounds weird!) VERY NICE and super fast service. Really appreciate these folks! REALLY recommend them.

I stopped in this morning at 7:30AM and Luis Delgado, the service manager, kindly greeted me. He promptly suggested I pull the car around to a service bay. He found and repaired my issue right away--fortunately it was a quick fix, like 5 minutes quick. He was honest and efficient. Ill definitely be back.

Went to PB yesterday as my cars battery was dead. Asked the mechanics to check a few other things including left tire, headlights etc. I needed a new battery, so purchased one there and had it installed. Car is running great! What I appreciate was their honesty - no one tried to push me on anything else, just fix the problem at hand. All team members were friendly and professional. Didnt really believe that Pep Boys Auto Parts Store still exist anymore. I was instructed to go there by a small Tire Shop on Irving Blvd. due to them not stocking such small light weight truck tires that i came to find out that are getting harder to find Used and or New Tires for a Chevy S10 p/u truck. Walking into this Pep Boys Auto Parts Store i was greeted by several friendly staff though they were busy with other customers they still made time to acknowledge me. While looking over their display of tires i was approach by this well knowledgeable young man who directed me to tires of my fit & type for my S10 Chevy p/u and showing me four to three type options of tires. He than left me alone to look & read over my options so that after 20 minutes i decided, than looking up scanning for help, another gentleman ask if i decided on the tires & was the price satisfactory to my wallet though i was needing only two tires. Once at the customer service counter another staff member discuss the warranty and other options to go along with the tires. Once they added the total price sticker shock i halted the process halfway through and ask him to do the set of ALL four tires !. Just couldnt beat that price cause ive been comparing New Tires and Used Tires prices for several days throughout the metropolitan area due to this was a 2000 Chevy S10 p/u truck. A vehicle that i hardly use and put 10 to 15 miles a week if that. Pep Boys Auto Parts Store was an unexpected satisfying experience with knowledgeable staff members throughout the store and the prices of their products is the real motivation for purchasing four New Tires. Highly Recommend.
Today I came in for a battery. There was a long wait for install and I was in a rush so I decided to install it myself. I spent a while installing it in the parking lot and my car still wouldnt start. I went inside to ask for service and John came out to look. He instantly realized the issue and fixed it for me there, and even came up with a solution to make sure I dont have any future issues. He went out of his way and I appreciate it. John rules.

My car eats batteries every 2 years so I just always take it in here to get it replaced. They process the warranty and get me set up with a new battery very quickly. Today I was in and their mechanics were busy, so their sales/register personnel offered to help me change my battery. They could have easily said, Nope sorry you have to wait for a mechanic. They were really nice and answered all my questions. I was very impressed that they changed my battery for me even though it technically wasnt their job - great customer service.
This auto parts store does the right thing by me every time I’m there and they alway have the parts I need.This visit was to replace a battery that was 2.5 years old. It had a 3 year warranty but I lost the receipt. They had on record that I bought the battery at the same location and they swapped it out. No charge. That’s why I am always going to come back here.They do the right thing.
I set an appointment for 10 AM for a flat tire repair, but I was about 8 to 10 minutes late. They fixed my tire in about 20 minutes and they did not charge me either. This is excellent customer service getting me in as fast as possible even after my appointment was scheduled and then taking care of me on the price Im guessing because they quoted me too long and because I had to wait in line when I had my appointment set. Either way, I cant complain one bit I am extremely happy and they did a great job. Best customer service Ive had in a long time and they have earned a lifetime customer.

Second time I had an issue at this location.First issue, I took my truck in for an oil change, tire rotation and an alignment. I was told they could not rotate my tires due to the struts being bad. I took it to the dealership to have them replaced. 1 week and $800 later, the dealership said there was not an issue.Second issue, I had my oil changed last weekend. Windshield washer fluid was not filled and my engine coolant was not checked. I was so low on engine coolant that my truck started to over heat.I take my vehicles here due to the stores proximity to my home. For now on, I will drive out of the way just to avoid going here again.

Dropped my car off at 8am for a diagnostic. Didnt get results until 2Pm. I asked for them to put my car back together so I could come pick it up and they said they would call me when they were done. I called back a little after 6 to ask if it was ready for pickup and they said it had been ready for a long time. I asked why they hadnt called me and the guy responded angrily that they hadnt done anything to my car and to just come and get it. Additionally my car is running worse than ever after the diagnostic. Take your business elsewhere to a more competent and courteous location.

This place is pretty expensive for a tune up car still driving the same after I got that tune up ... $335.09 was alot but it was the closes to my job and the guy that I talked to when I paid was super nice so thats why I gave a 4 star
I would not suggest bringing your car here for anything, especially if you are a female.I brought my car in on 12.8.17, for an oil change. They informed me that I also needed my rear brakes replaced, since there was very little left to my brake pad. They quoted me at $199.99 (I still have the paperwork). I declined the replacement since it seemed odd that anything would be wrong with my perfectly running car.Fast forward to this past weekend, 2.16.18, (mind you just over two months after I was told little to my brake pad was left) my dad, who has been in the auto industry for 40 plus years, was in town, so I had him take a look at the brakes. After his inspection, he informed me that this is little to no wear on the brake pad, even showed me the perfectly functioning pad so I could see for myself, and know the next time someone is trying to scam me.As a female, Im insulted by the ignorance this Pep Boys must have thought I possessed if they thought they could charge me $200 for something that I was in no need of.There cannot be an excuse made that this was a mistake made on Pep Boys end (this is their job, they know 100% what a brake pad should look like). When they said I needed new brakes, they were looking to make additional money, and thought that a young female would fall for their BS.This is exactly why females have to worry about getting ripped off, I would highly suggest taking your car, and your money elsewhere.
I called and it took 5 minutes for someone to answer. A woman picked up the phone, and I asked how much a tune-up costs. She said let me put you on hold, then I sat on hold for more time. Then a man answered, and I asked him how much a tune-up would cost. He said let me put you on hold, and I waited for more time. Then another man came on the phone and asked me what kind of car I had... Long story short it took me 10 minutes to get just one question answered. Taking my business elsewhere.
I got a reasonably quick, fair priced oil change. Their waiting room was reasonably clean and comfortable.

I blew the sidewall of my Pirelli tire on Christmas Eve. With stores closed, I went online to explore my options and Google results showed I could buy my tire thru Amazon. What the heck? Lowest price. Free shipping and in my case, thru Pep Boys, just 1 mile from my house. Thru Amazon, I made payment of the tire and the install and scheduled an appointment to mount the tire on my wheel. My tire was shipped to this Pep Boys location and arrived 3 days after Christmas Eve. My appointment was still 5 days away. I called Pep Boys on Saturday morning and they said they could do the work in the afternoon. This was the easiest, no hassle way to get a new tire. Im a fan. Service was fast and friendly.
Went in needing a new brake light. They quickly found the right one for my vehicle, and when I went to the service desk inquire about having it installed, John came out to my car and had it completed in less than a minute, and let me know there would be no charge. He was very friendly and professional- will certainly be back!
I asked them for a price for a regulator and labor for my daughters car and all of a sudden there is an Industry Standard 7% charge they add to every ticket for replenishment of parts and disposal. This is a regulator that requires nothing other than tossing the old one away. No new screws or misc parts of theirs needed. Maybe a few towels to wipe hands off. What kind of an industry standard are we talking about? Last time I use Moe Larry and Curly.
After wasting 30 min at the other pep boys at 635 and northwest they sent me to this store. We go into the service counter and the guy there says they dont turn rotors. Heres the kicker as we are pulling away we see a service tech outside sho we ask him and he said oh yeah we turn rotors thats not a problem. When we told him what the guy inside said he was left speechless and walked away. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY DO AND DONT DO.
I own a 26 year old Jeep Wrangler and for the most part do all my own repairs. Occasionally when I dont have the time or its too cold to do my own repairs, Ill bring it to theses guys, because I trust them. They wont screw you over

I believe that they did oil change for my car, but Im not sure whether they did tire rotation or not. I only made an appointment online for oil change, I even told them that I only wanted oil change for my car when I was in the store. Ive already finished tire rotation very recently. If they also did tire rotation, then they did wrong service for my car. This is very annoying. They should report what they did for my car. Thanks.

Mitch runs a good shop. My car was stalling, so I brought it in. He looked it over, scanned it, and test drove it to find any issues. Of course my car decided to start working again, so he sent me out with no charge. He also advised me for next steps if it continued. Would definitely come back!
If you are a woman or someone not very knowledgeable on vehicles I suggest you do not visit this shop. I have always come here with my parts for whatever service I needed and just paid for labor and shop fees, taxes, etc. Today I came in with my parts just to find out something else was wrong and was quoted for the other parts that needed to be replaced by the front desk. I decided not to pay 350 more than what I was already quoted for labor. Got home and started looking where to buy the parts at for cheaper and neither part I needed was more than 20 dollars at this location. Wonder how I got quoted almost 200 for one and 60 for the other? We usually never have issues here until today. Clearly someone was trying to make commission but I am no fool. We will be purchasing what parts we need from here and taking our business elsewhere after that.

The staff at Pep Boys provided excellent service on my car and excellent customer service in general. Tim was the primary mechanic and Luis helped with getting the overall cost of the repairs reduced significantly. They worked extremely fast and offered complimentary transportation (Lyft/Uber) to and from the shop. Will definitely be returning for all upcoming car problems!
Took my car in to have a flat repaired and have squeaking breaks looked at. They had reasonable prices but, more importantly, the guy who helped me was extremely courteous and did something no other mechanic has EVER done for me. He actually invited me into the garage to look at my brakes so he could better explain what my problem was. He made sure I had all of the information I need to make a good decision. Never had this kind of service before!
Driving an older car has its moment, and Pep Boys has been great helping those moments be less painful. Whether you need a flat tire fixed or your car towed, Ive been happy with each moment that they have repaired my vehicle.

Terrible. I went online and scheduled an appointment. When I showed up they said they did not see my appointment in the system and that their online system doesnt work (annoying, but I understand electronics are full proof). So I stood there in the store and made my appointment for the next day at 6pm. I came the next day at 6pm and they stated I didnt have an appointment. I told them I literally made the appointment in the store and when I turned to look at the computer screen my appointment was right on his screen. He completely lied. He told me that I could leave my car and they would maybe get to it in the next 2 hours or by tomorrow. I couldnt believe it. I told them I would take my care somewhere else.
Went in there for a routine oil change, everything seemed fine, they said my front tired looked pretty worn and if Id like to get them changed I declined. they asked me if Id like my reciept emailed, I like to save paper so I agreed. They gave me my car back and low and behold my check engine light was on. I went right back in and inquired as to why, since it wasnt on when I got there and they did a diagnostic and said they didnt know why, but it could be the new oil pushing through. They reset it so the light went off. The next day it came back on. I went back in. There was no manager to speak to. I told them it was a little funny that my light came on after giving them my car for 30 minutes for an oil change. I told them Id be back when a manager was there. 10 minutes after I left, they called me and told me that my engine light was already on when I got there! I argued that It was not, if it was why didnt they mention it to me before I left?! I hung up and went to find my reciept that was supposed to be emailed to me. Hoping that it would have info on my car. Oh wouldnt you know there is no emailed reciept. I have filed a formal complaint with the corporate office. DO NOT GO HERE.
Went to get my oil changed, tires rotated, and A/C fixed. Dropped my vehicle off on Wednesday. They told me it would be ready the following day and that they would call me when it was ready. I never got a call. I called them on Friday and they told me their mechanic wasnt even there. I didnt get my truck back until Monday and my A/C is still not fixed and my tires were not rotated and I was told it was done. This place sucks dont go here.
I prefer going to this particular location due to they always have what I need in stock. The facility is always neat and organized and the staff is willing to offer assistance.

Took my car to get the brakes bled because I installed a new master cylinder and brake booster. Said the booster was bad. Bought a new one and took it to the to install. Picked the car up and it was making a vacuum noise so I took it back. Said they had multiple people drive the car and could hear the noise. Also the mechanic left the bleed valve rubber covers off so clearly they are careless and have no attention to detail. There was also grease on my center console from the mechanics arm. My car is now worse off than when I brought it in and they wont refund any of my money. Take your car someplace else for service. I as a weekly customer for parts and will never be back.
