One of the best truck accessories shop that Ive ever been to, hands down. Im not local to Dallas - Ft. Worth area. However, we visit Dallas often enough to know few places. And I heard only good words about DFW Camper Corral in past. Therefore, when it was time to get a camper shell for my brand new 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road with 6 ft. bed it was no brainer for me tried to figure out where to call. I called the store Mr. James (store manager) answered my call himself. I told him what I wanted and I hoped he had something already in stock because I didnt have much time at my disposal to wait around since were only visiting Dallas for few days. And it so happened that Mr. James had only one (slightly used) Tacoma camper shell in stock in exact bed length, in exact color, exact brand (SnugTop) and most importantly in exact same camper shell model (Rebel series) that I was looking for and that would match my truck. I basically won a lottery on that day. 😁 Of course, there were no other questions asked and I said Ill be buying the shell. And Mr. James without even requiring any deposit or anything said that hell hold on to it until I get there. Two days later I made it there, checked the topper. It was in a very good shape for used topper (only few months old) and had most features that I wanted. His guys installed the topper to my truck and ran all the break, interior dome light wires and weather sealed it all around. Overall, Im very pleased with their services and the way they treat their customers. Additionally, their prices are very competitive compared to other truck accessory shops. Now, I may not be their regular and/or local customer, however, from now on whenever I need something major for my truck Ill make sure to touch base with them first. Because quality of their work, their prices and the veriaty of their inventory worth to make that trip. 👍

Best customer service I’ve ever received.I had an issue with my Leer Shell, and needed an adjustment. I emailed DFW Camper and got a prompt response from James, telling me to bring it by and they’d take care of it.They had me fixed up within just a few minutes. I will be making the drive from Garland to give this store my business for all my truck accessories from here on out.Thanks again to James and the entire DFW Camper Corral Staff, you are good people.

This store is absolutely top notch. I was looking for a truck topper on fairly short notice and James worked with me to search area inventory and track down the last shell available in my paint code. He had it transferred to his store within a day and helped install it personally.This is the second truck topper Ive owned that came from this store (bought a pre-owned truck with a topped already installed). I visited a year or two ago to get a second set of keys. Every visit is a quick in & out, no time wasting, no BS, all friendly, firm handshakes, and all my questions answered. You wont buy a better topper than ARE from a better dealer than DFW Truck & Auto.

I came ready to buy two toolboxes for my truck, but they seem to mostly have camper tops and tonneau covers and such, and nobody even said hello to me.Besides that, the one guy who was working wasn’t wearing a mask on a day when Dallas County is getting pounded by COVID-19. I’ll take my business elsewhere. I guess they live in a fantasy world where people drive pretty pickups and nobody gets sick, and if they do, they can afford to miss work until they get over it.

Way over priced I’m not sure if the sales guy was new but he wanted to charge me $400 for install on a roll cover that easily takes 30min. Took my business to rhinopro truck outfitters in garland for $100 install, in and out quick and they did a great job.

Update: The following is an update to my previous review. I have left the previous review in place.DFW Camper went out of their way to rectify the situation with the pipe rack that they installed. It turns out that the rack was damaged in the installation process. They actually replaced the entire pipe rack free of charge, profusely apologized for the damage on the previous rack. They went above and beyond to rectify the situation.First Review: I bought a pipe rack rated for 1,500 lbs to go onto the back of my pickup from these guys at a discounted rate, because the original price they quoted me was for a pipe rack thats was rated for 1,000 lbs which was not in stock, or so I was led to believe! I took my truck in, they installed the pipe rack and never told me the real reason why out was discounted was because the pipe rack was damaged! I didnt discover the damage until it was already installed. Rather shady business practices if you ask me!

I bought a tonneau cover here but unfortunately it didn’t end up fitting my truck. I wasn’t able to return it for about a month but when I came back they still allowed me to refund it and just charged me a fair rental price for that month. Even though the cover didn’t work out, they do good business here.

I went to the Dallas store to get a gooseneck hitch installed into my F250. I had called the day before and talked to Raul, he was very helpful and gave me a good price on a turnkey install. The next morning when I arrived Raul was out back working on something and in the interim I was greeted promptly and Bruce, the manager, started the process while Raul headed to the showroom. They got my information into the computer quickly, took my keys and told me the job would be completed later in the afternoon. Sure enough, they called me around 4:00 and told me they were finishing up and to come by before 6:00 when they close. The install quality is very professional, the customer service was excellent and I am happy with the price. Highly recommend the Dallas store and I will be back for some equipment for my company vehicles.

Good afternoon,I brought my truck to DFW on 12/10/19 to have an L.E.D. light strip installed below my tailgate. I purchased this off of Amazon and asked if they could install it and how much. I was told yes and the charge would be $100 + tax. I was told the light bar would be benched tested before install etc. Rusty said it checked out fine on the bench test and worked as it should. I was telephoned by Rusty later that day and he said I was good to go.When I picked it up Rusty informed me that there was some bleed through of amber but it wasnt bad. I went to pick up the truck and had my wife follow me home. The entire bar was shorting out, the left blinker did not work or light up, the brake light wasnt lit all the way across, I had warning lights going off on my dash saying Check bulb, trailer disconnected, trailer connected among others all related to towing a trailer.I called Ford and they said my 2018 F-150 would throw those warnings etc if it was wired to the trailer harness. I called that evening and conveyed this info and was told to bring it back up there. I came the very next day and was told they would not wire it to the taillights (like its supposed to be) because of the liability. At that point I was told that if I purchased their light bar that it would solve my issues because they have never had a problem with an install with theirs. So, I purchased their light bar and again paid for another install. I received a call from Rusty and was told I was good to go and it looked and worked great. I paid and left. Once again, I have warning lights coming on every 2 to 3 minutes dinging at me, trailer connected, trailer disconnected, check right hand bulb, check left hand bulb. So, Im right back in the same position as I was the first time.As I told Rusty the first time, it is well known on the newer Fords not to splice into the trailer wiring harness when installing these light bars. For someone that has been in business as long as they have, theyshould know this. I mean, its not a secret, look it up on the internet or call a Ford Dealer service department. I am requested a full refund of my $108 as well as my additional $432.98 I had to put out for their light bar, labor and tax. I am requesting this due to the fact I have to take it to the dealer and have it done correctly at an additional expense, something DFW refuses to do. The ONLY way to fix my issues is to have it hard wired to the taillights as I told them after the first incorrect install. My truck has 11K miles on it and to have to run around with warning lights going off due to their install and its unacceptable. They have ignored my email as well. I would like to add that I have done business with DFW for many years and never have had a problem with them until now. They have always done good work for me so Im very disappointed and will not EVER go back unless they make this right. I have also filed a formal complaint with the BBB.Thank youUpdate: All of my issues have been fixed. It turns out they didnt get my email because it went into a generic box. James reached out to me and scheduled for me to bring my truck back in on Saturday 12-28-19. I left it with them and they fixed me right up. Not only has the issue been resolved, but they refunded my labor costs for both installs. Like I said, I have done business here for decades and have never had 1 problem. I am more than satisfied with the results and DFW Camper will continue to get my business in the future. They made this entire deal more than right. Thank you very much James and Rusty. Got level kit and bumpers hear on my 2017 f250 and notice a noise in the suspension so i took it back. They said all sales final and that it wasnt their problem. Didnt even make a suggestion regret ever going there.

Three stars because after all the money we spent in here (camper shell & pull out tray) only to be driving the truck a week or two later over small bumps to have the pull out tray pop up and end up on its right side is disgusting! The installers took the short and fast route of installation apparently by “not” bolting the tray down to the bed! Thanks a lot...

I ordered a grille guard online and needed it installed on my truck. I was referred to DFW Camper Corral by a family friend. I spoke with James on the phone and continued to deal with him when I arrived. The store was like a candy shop to a child! He said they could indeed get the guard installed. Yay!!! There is a clean, cozy little room with Cafe tables and coffee in addition to a picnic table for reading paper/working on laptop, large handicap accessible restrooms, free WiFi for patrons waiting. The work was done in the time frame quoted, no surprises at checkout. There is so much to see to customize your trucks.UPDATE:. Sadly, learned the grill guard I had installed was not securely installed. The bolts tore out of the vehicle and I had to spend another $150 to have it properly attached. They did refund a portion of the install fee but cannot recommend.

January 2016 we came with a groupon to tint our camry, the job was excellent, no bubbles and they took our groupon with any issues. The next year when we did our inspection, they said this tint was too dark so we came back to Dfw Camper Corral, but they refused to change our tint.
