I broke a wheel stud off my truck when I was attempting to check my brake pads in my driveway. I drove over there and they managed to replace it the same day at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also checked my brake pads for me so I didnt have too. Overall I would recommend to a friend/family member.

Christian Brothers is a very nice place to take your car for any type of services. The people there are nice and confident about what they do. My daughter started going there and insisted they I go too, she personal believe in their beliefs. She believe that they are honest and a very good company!

Went in after 5 on a Friday with the undercover on the car hanging off. They knew exactly what needed to be done, pulled it in immediately, and I was in the road again in no time! No charge! I’ll be back and hope you will consider using them, too!

Theyre very nice. But they have no concept of time and theyre a bit overpriced. I came in at 10a and was told it would be a little bit. 2:40p they still hadnt looked at my truck. I had their shuttle take me home. I got a call at 5p, theyve finally looked at my truck. They said the battery terminals are dirty. Itll be $145, please! They didnt even do anything to it! I understand its a diagnostic fee, and they did check voltage, but nothing was actually fixed. If you know anything about your vehicle perhaps dont go here. If you dont know anything, I trust them to fix it but charge you just a bit less than the dealership

I called a day before to ask for a quote on a repair and the employees (I called twice; one for quote and other for appointment) were helpful. I came in the next morning to look into the issue I was having with my Camry. Even though I couldnt get the repairs done, Daniel was at least helpful in explaining issues that were discovered that I didnt think of. And provided me the list with costs and how long I would be looking at. I also like it that if they were to do the repairs I asked about and needed (IF there were no other issues on the list), theyd give me a ride home which isnt very far.So sadly, no repairs. But still, the communication was good. Im a visual learner so I understand better with pictures than words alone. So the fact that Daniel explained with pointing at the monitor screen and using his hands to give a visual idea, it was helpful.

Charges twice ($1400) for the same repair and the truck is still in the same condition. And they did not have an explanation for not doing the diagnostic right the first time. Thats how they get there profits. Steer away from this place of business at all cost

Called Christian Brothers after being told by another mechanic that they couldnt figure out the problem and they couldnt do any repair for 3 weeks. Called C.B. and explained my problem. They got me right in, diagnosed the issue and repaired it the next day. Very courteous people and my car is running great again! Highly recommend them and I will take my business to Christian Brothers from now on!

Too expensive. Dealership prices. Literally everyone I called after the fact was at least $100 cheaper than they were on a specific repair I needed. Even Firestone was cheaper, and thats saying something. I hate when I take my car there, and they come out with their heads down and then sit on the sofa talking to you like your car is on its last leg when its not just to get you to spend more.I also hate when I say I cant get this or that done right in the moment, and they keep asking me am I sure I dont want to go ahead and take care of it today.I also noticed when a large repair bill was handed to me one of the two mechanics at the counter was grinning. You know something is up when it takes two mechanics to go over a bill with you. I guess its really funny to hand someone a huge bill. I think they should change their name to, The Nickel and Dime Brothers.

These guys are the best! You will not find a more professional and honest automotive shop around this area and they give you a great warranty as well! They beat the price I was quoted from another shop and did the work quickly on my schedule. Will definitely use Christian Brothers White rock for all my automotive needs in the future!!UPDATE:Recently took my car back to be checked for a noise coming from the front suspension. They checked it out and found it to be a defective part from the original repair. They honored the warranty and fixed it no questions asked and no charge. Im over 60 years old, and through the years I have used all the major chain repair shops at one time or another and I have NEVER found one to be this good! What the others do wrong, these guys do right! Besides giving a great warranty and being professional, they are just all around great people. If needed they also provide a free shuttle ride to and from home while repair is being done.

Excellent service here. I took my car for a simple spark plugs replacement and the following day I felt a misfire and check engine light came on. They took the car back and attempted a fix (no charge!) that still did not work. Got another misfire leaving the place. In their defense, my car is an obscure configuration so it isnt like all the mass produced versions of itself. They took it a third time, again no charge, repaired items that were not directly associated with the misfire and my car is good as new.The fact that these guys owned up to their mistakes and rectified it at no cost to me shows a serious amount of integrity. I will continue to come here and suggest them to everyone.

Kept my vehicle 2 full days for free diagnostic then paid full blown diagnostic on brakes. Able to replicate problem but not identify cause or propose solution. Vehicle failed to start the day after return and began stalling out regularly in low gear. Failed to identity that vehicle had no oil.

I went in cause when I accelerated my car was shaking. They got me in, diagnosed and fixed in one day.they gave me a ride home and picked me back up when my car was fixed. Best service I have had in a long time. They really care and treat you better than family.

I am currently in Garland for an internship through Texas A&M, but I live in Louisville, KY. I had a cv axle, ball joint, and control arm break on my while driving down the awful garland roads. I was guided to go here and I was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and understood my situation and helped me out along the way. They tried to get it done by a specific date, but were unable to because they didnt want to rush it and I appreciate that. The prices seemed pretty reasonable and this was by far the best customer service I have seen within the auto industry.

I drove from the Middle School where I worked at which is about 3 miles or so away from this location so that I could have my tail light fixed. It was cold and slightly raining we already had a bunch of rain in the Metroplex. I left school early so that I could get this taken care of before the heavy rush-hour traffic back to my home in Allen. They took care of my car very promptly and offered me a beverage as well. They were conversational and cared about me not just about making an extra dollar. This was more evident when I went up to pay and they said it was no charge. That it was something very very minor just pass on the kindness. Along with passing on the kindness I feel it right to give them a gleaming review because the place was easily accessible, staff was friendly, I was invited to come back, prices listed were reasonable, and they are a God-fearing business as well. Really felt welcome at this establishment. I definitely will come back for my Automotive needs. I will never forget their kindness to me, a middle school teacher. They did my oil change and replaced my rear shocks. Ive not had my car but a year and have been to 3 places...2 others were HORRIBLE!!! this being my final stop. CHRISTIAN BROTHERS IS GREAT!!! I love my new to me car and want it protected and good work done, Im overdue for my oil change and rotation but I will be in right after Christmas!!! They are wonderful here and if you want Reputable work and Good people, then you are in the best hands!! Great friendly staff! The made sure the repairs where done on time, they picked my wife up when she dropped her rental car off drive her to her office. Later in the day they picked her up and drove her back to the garage. They really bent over backwards to help us out.

Excellent work and excellent customer service. The owner, Jim, drove me home when my brakes were being worked on, and had no problems running me by an errand I had to run. When we got to my house I realized I had left my keys. Immediately he took responsibility that he had forgotten to remind me, then drove me back to the shop and home again. All the while he engaged me in conversation and was very kind and respectful. Their warranty goes a year and 12,000 miles over what is normal and is explained clearly and concisely in a no fine print letter. The work done on the car has been excellent so far. Great place. I didnt need to call on Christian Brothers until I was stranded in Dallas this weekend, with no idea what was wrong with my car or where to have it towed. Although they werent open for me to go there in-person, Johnathan was a life-saver. He advised me on what might be wrong and even let me ask him questions all throughout the process of being towed to the dealership, doing the diagnostic, and evaluating their estimate--all without even being a customer yet! Ive had the pleasure of taking my SUV in on several occasions for regular maintenance. Each time, I was treated great by the staff at the White Rock CBA location. Besides my regularly scheduled maintenance appointment, the staff advised me on other items that would eventually need to be addressed along with options. There is never a hard sell. These people are extremely trustworthy and deliver superior service. This is coming from a guy who knows next to nothing about automotive work, but I do know great service when I receive it. Do not hesitate in stopping by for an estimate, oil change, or any other automotive work needed.

Pulled into Christian Brothers Automotive with a flat tire this morning on the way to work. Matt and Russell got me in and out in five minutes flat. They were so helpful! They even recommended a tire repair shop on the way to the office. So thankful for their willingness to help out in a hurry!

First off, Im one of those people that will fix my car(s) myself, and prefer to do so.I have been to this location a several times, and have had them check my car and truck for a problem that they have had. On more than one occasion it had turned out to be nothing, or not what I had thought it was.Now if you want to take your vehicle to a place that will fix it right, with original OEM parts, then go to Christian Bros. If you want to go to a place that is going to be cheap, and just patch the problem, then go elsewhere.They are fair, very honest, and it is where I will continue to take my vehicles from now own.

I originally came to Christian Brothers for an alignment. The lady at the front desk was very nice and polite, I dropped my car off and about 3 hours later I received a call saying they did the alignment but my power steering seal was leaking and I needed all these fluid flushes and different maintence done. I told them to go ahead and fix the power steering leak, they called me back about 40 minutes later saying it was ready. I picked up my car and about 2 days later I started noticing a ticking sound so I asked my father in law who is also a mechanic to take a look at it and he said that the seal on the actual pump is leaking like crazy. The next day we brought my car to Christian bros and showed the Manager the problem (I didn’t catch his name) my father in law started showing him the problem and asked how we are going to fix this, because the power steering pump never had a problem until they touched it. The manager then began to argue with us trying to cut deals. First option was a re fund and then we would have to pay to fix the pump. We refused then started arguing more and we’re offered to take off cost of labor as long as we pay for the part, refused again! After several minutes talking to him and the mechanic who originally worked on my car, he gave in and will be fixing my car tomorrow for no charge. REALLY CHRISTIAN BROS??? Why should we have to argue and get angry to receive fair service for a part you clearly broke! I would understand if the part was leaking before and I didn’t pay $142.40 to replace a $9 part but if I see something is broken because of your mechanics I will argue my case. It would of been so much easier to realize you guys messed up and to fix it instead of arguing with the customer over your mistakes.UPDATE: We visited Christian bros today and the manger who I originally spoke with was very polite this time. He showed us the brand new power steering pump he order for me and had the mechanic install it. The work was done in about 30 minutes. He did apologize and realized his mistakes which I did appreciate. I am changing my outlook on Christian brothers, I very much appreciate them realizing the mistakes that were made and going out of the way to fix it. I will recommend in the future.

THERE IS NOTHING CHRISTIAN AND HONEST ABOUT THIS COMPANY! Using the ploy for being a Christian company will surely go out of their way to make you pay a premium cost for their warrantied parts from a mystery seller that the manager would not disclose. Nor will they tell you the price of the parts or let you BRING YOUR OWN PARTS! They will flat out lie to you and over charge for their services! A simple break change with new rotors will cost you $755 for parts and labor! Even if you dont need new rotors! They try and do all of their business over the phone and quote you outrageous prices! Definitely get a second quote somewhere else!! Its almost gaurenteed that it would be at least $400 cheaper anywhere else! DO NOT GO HERE! There is nothing Christian about this company and will take advantage of you if you are naive and dont know anything about cars. They will see you as a walking checkbook and take every penny! And I swear that to the god they claim to believe in. I DONT WANT A RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER. I just want to spread awareness to everyone looking for an honest comment about my experience here! THOSE PARTS BETTER BE BLESSED BY JESUS HIMSELF BEFORE I SPEND ALMOST $200 FOR MID TIER BREAKS I COULD BUY FOR $60 AT AUTOZONE THAT THEY WONT INSTALL FOR YOU!

I went there to do a 4 wheel alignment. They said brake fluid is dirty, ball joint is worn out. I refused to do all those which are around 600 dollars service. They wouldnt do my alignment because I dont fix my cars ball joints. In fact I checked my cars ball joints in two other places and they all confirmed my whole suspension is fine. I also changed my brake fluid a year ago so no way its dirty. It was totally waste of time. The only thing they said right was about the wheel bearing and the stud however they still charged me 100 dollars more to fix all those.

Took my 75K mile suburban in for a shutter issue....spent over $3,600+ on service that was needed based on age, but disappointed to get it back with the same original issue - without the fix. I am hoping that Christian Brothers restores my faith and solves the problem eventually. I am going to give them a 2nd attempt to fix.

They are not looking to take advantage of anyone. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive in White Rock… I fully intend to return there for all my car needs.I went in fully expecting to spends hundreds of dollars on my breaks. I ended up leaving spending 39.00 for my yearly car inspection. They said its common for Toyotas to squeak with the heat that we have been having. I will need them eventually, but right now they are not necessary. How many of you out there have ever had that experience? Honesty and Integrality is hard to find, these guys had both!

Just went there to get my vehicle inspection done and everyone was extremely nice and courteous and the waiting area was very comfortable. Snacks, coffee, water, and sodas are readily available and it is well air conditioned and the manager was very nice even though I wasnt spending much money at all.

My ABS light was coming on my dash and i assumed that I most likely needed a brake job. I dropped my truck off and came back to be told that I still had plenty of life on my brakes and no pads or works was necessary. As for the ABS light, it was a faulty relay...which I elected to ignore since they cost $$$$. CBA could have easily gotten a brake job out of me.....instead it was a zero charge visit...WOW....an auto shop that is actually honest! When leaving I ran into an old man that had been going there 6 years and he said that they actually worked out a payment plan for one of his costly repairs....what other place would do that in Dallas???? Dealing with the public is hard enough....but this place is a ray of light in an otherwise dishonest world. You have my business for life (that is, if I dont move)....

My experience is similar to the Ian Davies Story. My battery light came and my car unfortunately shut down. I went there on Wednesday at 11/16/16 and paid for a full diagnostic test to find out what was going on. I told them specifically to check my battery, the wires connected to my battery, and my alternator. Which I was told the diagnostic test was going to cover all that. I waited patiently from 9:00 am to 11:00 am to even find out what was going on. They told me it was just the battery not the alternator. Then I told them to fix the battery which it cost over $200.00 just to fix. They told me I was all taken care of. Then I left and found out that my batter light still turned on. I called and said is it usual for my battery light to still be on when I just replaced the battery. They told me no and come back the check to see what was wrong. I went back today (11/18/16) and they finally told it was my alternator. I told them I didn’t want them to do anything to my car because it would cost me over $500.00 just to fix it. I was upset because I told them initially if it was the alternator I rather buy a new car vs getting it replaced again. I paid for a service (diagnostic test) to see what was wrong. I called the manager about the issue and his solution was to take the cost for the diagnostic test off the cost for the alternator. I decline that offer and told him it wasn’t good enough. He told me I have to contact you on Monday. So I gave a call to corporate and they notified me that they contacted the owner and he will contact me on Tuesday. Depending on what I get as a response, I might have to take further action. I paid for a service (full diagnostic test) which I didn’t really get any service from. Also paid for a service that I wasn’t going to pay for if the alternator was the problem. Thank you Christian Brothers for being kind to me and giving my bad service. Hope to speak with the owners soon.
