I always receive good service with this business. JR is helpful and gets my work done quickly. Hes honest and has never tried to talk me into anything that I dont need. His charges are always reasonable, I have seriously saved a lot of money using Lovefield Auto instead of taking my cars to the dealer.

I ordered the parts to save money but when he asked when they would arrive, I told him It would be 5 days, Sr blew his top and started yelling. I told him I was only saving $100 so Id go with his part and I needed a tune up. Sr was so mad he must not have heard me say it was cool and started yelling again when I was explaining about the tune up. I asked him politely to cease from yelling because I had worked with him before and it wasnt necessary. He got offended and rudely told me to come get my car and that he didnt want to work on it. He then abruptly hung up in my face. It was clear that he has so much business, he can talk to customers rudely. He has so man cars there that he doesnt have room to store which I understand but he needs to learn customer service 1st. He wasnt like this the 1st time but wasnt very personable either. I would recommend other to him after my 1st experience but after this 2nd, I cant wish him the best. He continued to be rude to me after I was trying to be polite because I was trying to keep it together. It was alot of unneeded stress because he didnt know how to talk to customers.

My family took our cars to them over the course of 4 years. We really liked the service and thought they did an excellent job at a very affordable price. I really appreciated them telling us when repairs were necessary or not.All that being said, the reason I did not give 5 stars is because, while they excel at simpler repairs, when things are more complicated they did seem to have more issue. We had an error code for the EGR valve, and they sent us to a different repair shop to diagnose the exact issue. Then, after we had them replace our EGR valve, the light came back on within a week with the same error code. They tried a few things over the course of 6 months, for a total repair cost of around 600-700$ and the light was still on. We brought it to a new mechanic when we moved and they had to replace the EGR valve since the one installed at Lovefield wasn’t working. We have not had any more issues with the EGR valve since getting it replaced here.I will reiterate. I really appreciated their help over the years and for simple issues, they are great and extremely affordable. Very trustworthy too. For more complicated repairs, you may need to consider going elsewhere.

Outstanding and fair service! Walked in with a battery issue and gentleman came out to take a look at the issue. Issue was a loose connection which he tightened and checked a couple other things. I offered to pay for his time but he generously said it’s ok you can get me next time. I’ll definitely be back with any future repairs or maintenance.

Their work was fine, but Im BIG on customer service and in my humble opinion, the father can use a Customer Service course. The son and other mechanic were great (communication, quality of work, clarity, respect towards customers). In my experience, the father didnt inspect and identify what was needed before quoting a price. I knew that his quote was inaccurate because I checked with another professional before going to him, but he insisted that the time and price that he quoted was accurate. I even shared with him what would be needed (and Im a woman with little vehicle repair knowledge). Needles to say, he didnt listen. Since I knew that he was wrong, I stayed on the premises to give him another opportunity to reevaluate and re-quote, but he didnt. He even called me in mid way thru the job so that the son could tell me WHAT I TOLD THE FATHER from the jump. He still never requoted the fee. After the job was complete, I go in to pay and here we go.... itll be an extra $25. Me: No sir, we had this discussion. (Thinking to myself, You refused to listen because you know everything, so NO, its not an additional $25). Him: Becomes argumentative and tries to lay a guilt trip on me by saying that most customers understand additional cost, but maybe I dont, so no worries. He even goes on to say that its only $25. Well, I agreed with him on that part. So if its ONLY $25, why are we having this discussion? Eat it, since its ONLY $25. Dude, youre dealing with an educated woman who negotiates and writes contracts on the commercial/governmental level for a living. Its NOT that I didnt understand; its the fact that I negotiate cost and enter into contracts ACCORDING to the AGREED upon cost. What you CANT do with me is not evaluate a job accurately, do a piss poor review of the necessary task before accepting the job and at the end of the agreement, BREACH the contract. Verbal or written. He was also dismissive and was a bit rude when I arrived. He didnt acknowledge me (the first or second time that I arrived on the premises), so I blew my horn and his response was, No Horn while wagging his finger. Really?? After I explained to him that I ONLY blow the horn when Im not acknowledged, spoken to, told where to park, etc, he understood, so Ill give him credit for understanding and agreeing that he DESERVED the horn blow. However, when customers arrive, if there are NO parking spaces and you make eye contact with them and its obvious that they simply need instruction on how to proceed, bare minimum customer service training should have taught you that you should prompt them as to where they should park, say hello welcome to my establishment or something?? Making eye contact and continuing what youre doing without saying a word is rude and dismissive. In closing, deal with the son if you want a positive experience as that older one will frustrate you to no end and youll want to check him. Work gets a 👍🏿. Initial customer service from the old guy gets a major 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾.

He does not take the time to explain what is exactly and precisely wrong with your vehicle, instead he replaces unnecessary parts and sends you on your way. Lovefield Auto Repair Overcharges on parts and labor of a misdiagnosed problem. I do Not recommend you take your automobile to Lovefield Auto; however, instead, recommend you take your vehicle to a garage where they treat with humanity, respect and, above all, honesty!

I recently bought a new... well used car but its new to me! Anyway, before you buy a car an independent inspection is a must! Stopping by with the car, used car salesman in tow, I ask for an inspection. The independent inspection is only $50!!! Much cheaper than the $100 charged at other places Ive been to. Anyway, they were full that day :( BUT they still made room for me and my mini :) 45 minutes later they point out some minor things, nothing big. Wrote a check and bought the car with confidence. These are good guys and I appreciate their honesty. Thank you.

Got new brake pads and had rotors turned. Since then brakes have never worked properly. I brought the car in and they said it was fine. Car failed inspection today because of the brakes. Now they wont do anything until I find the receipt. Beware. This place offers a good price for the work but if its not quality and they dont stand behind it whats the point?

So this review is for a body of work as Javier has been my mechanic for over ten years. I take my cars to the dealership until the warranty expires and then to Love Field. He and his are guys honest, upfront and capable. I usually pay less then what I would expect and always leave satisfied

Unfortunately was charged for labor and a part that I did not need. They decided to put on/was told they put on a new wheel bearing and failed to diagnose the issue properly. I drove off with the same issue I came in with after I was told it was fixed. I brought my car back and the tire shop next door gave me a new tire sensor that fixed the problem.

Ive been wanting to write this review for a while. I have a 2002 Subaru Forester and I did a big G+ search before taking my car to Love field Auto Repair. Im really glad I did as I felt the honesty, quality, and care I was looking for. I told an ex girlfriend about their service and she also had a great experience with her old Honda CRV. Im looking forward to having these guys as my mechanics as long as I have a car.

I am genuinely surprised there are so many good comments on here. this guy is so incredibly rude and does not offer any explanations for whats going on with you car. Unless youre a car expert, all hell say is that hes been doing this a long time and that he just know cars. yeah that doesnt work for me. if you dont agree to all the repairs he suggests he turns into a real jerk and will talk down to you. no thanks. there are way too many other mechanics in this city, dont waste your time here.

Inspected my Honda and found no problems and no codes. Took it to another mechanic, because of creaking sound and losing fluids and found transmission leak, oil leak, power steering leak, torn suspension and worn brake rotors. Go figure. There are better places in Dallas.

I came to this place to get an oil change. I arrived at 5:20 pm and asked if I get an oil change and the guy at the front desk says that they couldn’t do it because they start closing at 5:30. It was 5:20 when I arrived and the advertised close time was 6:00. He could have of gave me a better excuse as to why he couldn’t service my vehicle. Very unprofessional.

Out of town and my check engine light came on. They fixed my car on a Saturday - and I was able to get back home on time.

My family and I we came from Tulsa, and when we got to the hotel we noticed our cars tire was flat, we took it to the Lovefield Auto Repair which is closer where we were staying, they were profecional and very nice, and for a very racional price.

Honest, fast and friendly! Truly! I took my car to another place first and got the feeling that I was being lied to. They wanted to charge me $1,200.Lovefield Outdoor Repair came HIGHLY recommended from a friend, so I took it up there to get a second opinion. Their diagnostics came back with the SAME problem that the first shop discovered, only the total after labor was only $432! They even replaced a belt that broke while my car was having work done for next-to-nothing.Not sure where these bad reviews are coming from, but Javier and his team were friendly, professional and honest. My car will go here whenever problems pop up from now on!
